• Zahra Noorkarim (4/5): - The location of this hotel is great, right in the hotel zone, beach access, lovely pool. However the staff weren’t helpful if things ran out. There was no shampoo in the room so We asked for it. They told us to buy it from their on site minimart. Same thing with the matches which were needed to use the stove they provided. Not sure if they genuinely ran out or if they just didn’t provide it so we would have to purchase our own. We found this strange as they provided a few match sticks but no more. Beyond that, it was a run down hotel but they did their best to cover it up. The bedsheets had holes in it. The towels seemed very very very old, just thin and looked like they were there for 20 years. They were stingy with giving more towel or even beach towels. Things were painted over to look “nice”.

La parte exterior del complejo de condominios esta bien solo por la area donde se encuentra. En general no volveria a ese lugar.
• Sophie (6/5): Chambre acceptable, emplacement super - Chambre aurait besoin d’être rafraichie. Eau tiède et peu de pression. Congélateur fonctionnait mais frigo refroidisissait très peu. Par contre, malgré que c’est vieux, c’était propre. Emplacement idéal piscine et plage privée à quelques pas de la chambre avec auperbe vue.

• Jennifer (4/5): Ants everywhere - Ants, ants and more ants The first day i asked someone to spray our room because of how many ants we had...no one came. The 2nd day i asked agaim (new person) no one came. We had ants everyday everywhere. Plus a horrible sewer smell in the bathroom. I can overlook the non existant water pressure, the thin walls, the squeaky hard beds but when there's bugs everywhere and my 15 month old son is walking i mean come on.
• Verified traveler (2/5): This place is a absolute dump, beware room 2210 - This place is absolutely atrocious. This is not a hotel. This is an apartment/condominium that is being sold as a hotel that is completely rotting away and is not structurally sound. You are first met with an absolute and overbearing stench of sewage when you get to the property. The room which was 2210 is absolutely not fit to be sold on a hospitality level. There is no hot water. The air condition does not work, blankets and pillows are dirty and overbearing musty smell. The electrical plugs are not mounted to the wall and are falling off, we had no electricity in none of our electrical outlets and when we contacted the reservation manager, his response was sorry I can’t help you. My wife got electricity shock the first day turning on the lights.Stay away from condo plaza, spend a little more money and have a positive experience. This place is a dump, read other people’s comments and reviews of how deplorable this place is. If you happen to book a reservation and the reservation agent name is Victor BEWARE he rents 2209 & 2210. I would never return here if it was given for free.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Worst hotel..Cancun Plaza Hotel - Cancun Plaza hotel was the worst hotel stay I've ever experienced. The receptionist was horrible for check-in. The AC did function, asked for different room and was denied. I requested for more towels and it was denied. Trust me, stay away from tgis hotel.

There is no balcony, it has somehow been incorporated into the appartment. the kitchen top has a massive hole in it obscured by a plastic plate !, the fridge has been had painted, it is generally dischevelled. Why the windows have an X on them with tape, who knows,,

• Pramit (10/5): - Our room at Cancun Plaza was at one of the most convenient spot. Oxxo is very near. Beach is attached and no crowd at all. Other expensive hotel has very crowded beach. Also, the food of the attached restaurant was really good and at reasonable price.

The pool is nice and wifi at the restaurant works well. Direct access to the beach was also great. And of course can’t beat the price we were able to get the room for $80/night all in, which is hard to beat.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Beware when reserve. There is lovely rooms there. - The adds had nice pictures and description of the units. It wasent exactly true with the rooms operated by Victor. His rooms were not taken care of properly (Verry similar to a 1 Cuban Star). On the other hand, the rooms operated by "Bsea" on the same building, corresponded to the descriptions and were lovely. Beware when you reserve. Make sure you order with "Bsea". They are found on B00king.c0m.

However, I think they need to upgrade/renovate their reception area and add a microwave to the kitchen in the room. The room was spacious, The bed was comfortable. The room could use a little upgrade. Overall, I will book again in the future.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away. Choose somewhere else - Check in was alright. Couldn’t find the correct check in lobby because there were multiple’owners’ who list their condos. The elevators are small. The door to room was dark and hard to see key pad to enter code. The layout of room was bad. There were cracks in ceiling and walls. The beds were hard rocks and pillows just as bad. Very flimsy sheets that didn’t look clean. Only 2 bath towels, shower was cold barely hot water at all. Had a water leak under the kitchen area which was bad and didn’t have towels to clean it up. Went to the front desk at 9pm and it was closed even though online it said it was open until 1030pm, because I complained in the follow up email had maintenance drop by around 1130pm which was very good because I had to be up for an excursion by 4am. Which would have been better if front desk was open when I went. Anyway. No WIFI because you are too far away from the extenders. A/c barely cooled room and leaked on the 2nd day all the way until we checked out. I wouldn’t suggest this place at all

• Nicola (2/5): - Lord have Mercy where do I start? 1st room I had, sheets was dirty and the wall, kitchenette look like it was falling off the hinge, then there was a huge wall dividing the room between me and my son so it felt like we were isolated from each other on vacation. I couldn’t do it, I requested another room which they try to increase the rate, but I wasn’t having it, The second room bed had a sinkhole, the sheets felt dirty, no hot water, and when they finally claim to fix it it was like warm and remained that way until we left, the room smelt fowl as if they had a septic issue. On request they did provide a microwave but this was a horrible experience for a room that cost 400 us for 4 nights. Let’s not forget the roach in the bathroom. After speaking to multiple renters one African guy had water filling up his rm from a leaking refrigerator, others who did AirBnb seemed satisfied. It appears it’s different owners but the rental I got through cheap tickets maybe is used for prostitution not for decent families who wants to have a happy vacation, I would have left from day one if only it was refundable!! NEVER AGAIN!! It was my second time in Cancun and this *hortel* made it uncomfortable even my son complained about back pain from the cheap mattress and he’s only 14!! SAME ON YOU TO TAKE PEOPLE MONEY AND GIVE THEM THIS..
• Verified traveler (2/5): They need to put some of the money in maintenance - Old and stained towels, the bathroom in the worst/ poorest condition you can imagine ( see picture below),dirty room, no towels for pool/beach, mattresses so old that you slept in a hole, air conditioning did not cool, the food and the hotel were super expensive , as it is a resort and apartments. I will never ever go back to that place again…

The hotel room was really different from what I saw on pictures. I was really disappointed about it. There was no hairdryer, Refrigerator wasn’t working, Hot water wasn’t hot enough.

We spoke with the office staff multiple times about it and it never was resolved. Other than that it's a great place to stay and get away from the crowds of the hotel zone!

• Richard (6/5): - This is a hard place to rate because each of the condos are owned by different people so to give the entire place a bad rating because our unit was bad isn't really fair. We rented a one bedroom and the air conditioner smelled and didn't work well, the shower was difficult to turn off, the refrigerator and stove didn't work, light fixture was hanging by wires, my wife was shocked on one of the switches. With all the bad stuff, I have to say the entire place is dated but nice, The pool is absolutely beautiful and the beach area is very nice. The staff was pretty good and responded to our requests (except for the broken air conditioner and refrigerator) but they brought new towels and shampoo when we requested. I wouldn't mind staying here again but its kind of the luck of the draw if your room is taken care of by the owner. I image most of them are fine and we just got a lemon. The restaurant by the pool is very good but only accepted cash and the hotel is on the beach but only about 10-15 mins from the airport so that was nice. My wife would probably give this a lower rating than I have but I a little more optimistic and tried to look at the good things in the resort. Fortunately it wasn't to hot so having our window open and listening to the ocean wave was wonderful and very peaceful.

View from our room 1405 Awesome! Right over the beach! The room is dated and in need of upgrading. Definitely Recommend !

• Verified traveler (6/5): Review of room 2210 - avoid - Let me start by saying that I believe each of these units are owned by different people. I walked past some rooms with open doors and they were lovely. My room 2210 was the opposite so this is only about 2210 - not the property in generel. I had an amazing view overlooking the pool directly at the ocean but that was the only thing amazing. The balcony was loud due to the A/C unit (which inside the room seemed uneffective) and the condenser fan blows hot air on you. The table and chairs are rusty. Inside the room there are 2 beds. You can feel the mattress springs on both beds. I always travel with my own sheet & pillow case just in case and this time I used them. The outlet wouldnt hold a plug, the water in the bathroom was lukewarm at best, the faucet was loose, the curtins covered the window but you definitely need a sleep mask if you dont want to wake up with the sun, the mirror had large spots all over it and in general the room felt dirty. I even took my shower (lukewarm) with my sandles on. The person who checked me in was wonderful, the people at the restaurant were wonderful & the food was delicious & the beach is amazing. The hotel is a distance from anywhere but the bus is $1 and stops nearly right in front. I would never stay in 2210 again but I would come back.
• Jaime (6/5): Experienced Traveller - The Cancun Plaza Condo has 3 check -in offices. 1.-Make sure which one is in charge of your room. 2.-There is not check out early in the morning, we had to come back to leave the key in our room. 3.- There are not emergency stairs in case of fire, only elevators.

• Abraan (10/5): - Everything is amazing but the internet hmm many people were asking for net and it didn’t work very well just in the back part of the pool close to the elevator
• Mel (6/5): - Very clean, friendly staff, beautiful ocean front. The property just seems very old and in need of some minor repairs. Drain pipe grates are not fastened on, door latches are broken, sheets were a bit stained.
• Andrekita (6/5): Great location-zero amenities- luck of the draw - The bad- We were in Unit 2109-a very small, bare bones hotel-like room. A fridge but no microwave, no coffee maker- nothing- just 4 very dated stucco walls plus a small bathroom. Since this is a condo building, apart from pool area, there is no public space. There are 5 separate offices that manage SOME of the condos. Each unit is privately owned. Our manager was only there if receiving someone. We were passing through for only one night so our needs were modest. The good- the building is beachfront. Our tiny, no frills room had ocean view. This end of the hotel strip is a little unprotected so water is a little rougher with rocks on entry. Very Narrow swimmable area is well -marked & life guards patrolling all day. We saw a life guard call-in 2 kids and made them track down their parents. There is a nice pool if you don’t like being in the ocean. As is the case for most hotels, never enough palapas to go around… so since condos are private residences - zero amenities other than pool- no ice maker, no purified water dispensers, no gym-no nada- just whatever the private owner decides to provide. In our case #2109- exactly 2 towels!
• Lesli (4/5): - It's right on the ocean with a nice pool and good service at the restaurant. But when I arrived I had no idea where to check in and the security guard was not helpful. I went to three different places to figure out where to check in and no one could tell me. And security guard was very rude.

• Joyce (8/5): Beautiful View!!! - The good - The view and pool and beach are first rate. Like a picture perfect postcard !! The staff definitely wants to be first rate. Nice people. The restaurant on the ground is lovely. Terrific view of the ocean ! The bus stops right there and takes you to all of the Hotel Zone. Nice restaurants in walking vicinity too. The beds were big and comfortable. The bad. For what we paid -and we were there for 3 nites after being in playa del Carmen -should have been better. I think the room makes a difference. We were in Room 3109. No balcony, kind of a cut off view of ocean -which was a little disappointing …. There was no cutlery , and other things you needed. The room was noisy , I think next to people cleaning the rooms , and the worst part was that there was NO HOT WATER TO TAKE A SHOWER !!! We called 2x and they tried to help. The owner of apartment should take better care. For $350 plus , for 3 nights , I think I would personally try another place ….

• Samuel (2/5): - Están remodelando enpiesan a trabajar y no dejan las habitaciones están fatales sucias y las cortinas fatales por favor no se queden en ese hotel y aparte te rentan las toallas de la piscina a $50 y en las fotografías del internet muestran los cuartos y nada que ver al momento que llegas a y lo único bueno es su piscina el restaurante la comida fatal y carísima
• Maikel (10/5): - Nos gusto mucho . Estuvimos comodos y tranquilos . La atencion fue magnifica . Un hermoso lugar para descansar con vistas increibles . Seguro que regresaremos a unas largas vacaciones. Y el restaurante del hotel la atencion y la comida maravillosa . Quedamos con muchos deseos de estar mas dias en ese hermoso lugar

• Diego (6/5): - Staff was friendly, the building is old and although it might be clean it doesn't look like it, condo's need some improvement overall, if you are planning to stay I will recommend to get a suite instead and no Condo's. DL
• Gretel (2/5): - Do not stay here! AC was broken, blue curtains were ripped and dirty, bathroom wasn’t clean, room very outdated, beds….omg the beds were the worst!!! The mattress needed to be thrown away asap! We left the same night. We didn’t even stay for 10 minutes.
