- alisL4837WQ (6/5): Choose hotel according to your expectations - I stayed at this hotel for five days. Honestly, what I experienced was quite different from what I had imagined for a 5-star hotel. Especially the entrance and lobby were not up to 5-star standards at all (lack of a beautiful hotel entrance area, no taxi ramp, no elegant and pleasantly scented lobby befitting a 5-star hotel). Strengths: - Polite, friendly, and caring staff (especially a housekeeping staff member named Seher, who was very kindly with us) - Good service upon request - Clean and tidy rooms - Comfortable bedding - Convenient access to shopping centers (especially Cevahir Mall), currency exchange, pharmacy, etc. Weaknesses: - Bathroom towels were not sterilized (they were just rolled up and placed under the sink) - The toilet and bathroom in standard rooms were small (especially the bathroom, which also lacked a clothesline) - Breakfast lacked variety and didn’t meet 5-star hotel standards (it was more like an average 4-star hotel) - No scale available for weighing luggage - No luggage wrapping service at checkout - No in-hotel store, currency exchange, etc. (which would typically be expected in a 5-star hotel) Conclusion: This hotel could be categorized as a 4-star hotel by international standards. However, if you're looking for good location, clean rooms, and reasonable pricing, this might be a good option for you. Lastly, I would like to thank the hotel staff for their kind behavior and sincere cooperation.
- yarao635 (2/5): Terrible - The hotel was not helpful at all, we asked for umbrellas they are not available, we asked for a scale for the bags its broken we asked for location help they don’t know, we asked for towels they brought the wrong one, when we checked out they claimed we used the the nuts treats which we did not the room service probably did, at the end they let us sign a paper that we did not use it, a 150 euro went missing…. And at the check out they did not give us the 100 euro we paid as insurance as we forgot to ask for it…
- Tracy (6/5): Pros and Cons of our stay. - We booked this room as Hotel.Com claimed it to have a king and 2 single beds, so I paid the extra to upgrade. On arrival, there were no single beds in the suite and one of us had to sleep on a very uncomfortable camp bed for the week. The amenities at the hotel are good but very tired and some maintenance and upgrades are needed. For example lights were out everywhere throughout the hotel, equipment in the room didn’t work. The sauna was out for our entire stay and the women’s door sensor to get back into the changing rooms from the pool was broken. I booked a massage (which was lovely) however, the couch was old and the faux leather had flaked off. Breakfast was minimal and unappetising, although we had paid, after day two we skipped and went elsewhere. Dinner, was lovely every night and a real credit to the chefs. Maid service each day, but it was rushed and no cleaning, after day 4 of the jacuzzi being used scum and bits from the jets put us off using again, which was a real shame as it was a lovely treat. Hotel claims to be sound proof- absolutely not the case and the noise from the traffic and roaming dogs barking all night was incredibly difficult to sleep. Staff are attentive and always on hand. I am trying to be as honest as possible here and not to offend, as the staff were lovely. However, it wasn’t a cheap break to stay here and I would have appreciated an honest review at my time of booking. It’s not really a suite! more a large room.

It is close to metro, Cevahir AVM, easy to find taxi, hotel personnel are very friendly and professional. Rooms are small but functional, we stayed for 2 weeks and felt comfortable.

- Abril Alicia (6/5): Mediocre at best - The overall stay was disappointing, unfortunately. The hotel has not been maintained for a long time it seems. Our room had a broken mirror and the bathroom was flooded after every shower. None of the drains, including the in the sink’s, worked. The pool/spa area had the same issues - no maintenance at all. The walls are paper thin and you better bring earplugs if you want a full night’s sleep. We paid for the breakfast but were really disappointed. Probably the worst coffee and juices ever served. The people working there were nice and polite, which makes up for some of the other issues.

Staff very helpful and friendly. - I recently spent 2 weeks at The Craton and while the rooms were small and may be a tight fit for 2 or more people it was perfect for just myself. Breakfast buffet was great I enjoyed the variety of food on offer. Staff were great, very helpful, and while in my room and getting to know the cleaning ladies I soon learned who did a great job and who did the bare minimum. The location was definitely great having the Cevahir and Metro just a few minutes walk down the road. One night the air conditioning was struggling and turning off and on and another night the hot water took a long time to come on but other than that I couldn’t say there were any issues with my stay.

The rude behavior of one of the staff members caused us annoyance and anger, and they treated us in a very disrespectful manner. Unbelievable rude staff not suitable for a 5 star hotel !!! Specially Mr Mehmet the chief of breakfast on 21th September in case the manager of hotel wants to follow up , all together, wast of money, never advise this hotel…
- 629samank (10/5): Excellent experience - The staff were simply kind, caring and hospitable. The room was clean. The relaxing atmosphere was great. The good location close to Jawahir shopping mall is an asset. Regarding breakfast, depending on how you normally eat in your hometown might raise different views but for me it was OK though some might find it less than their expectation of a five-star hotel. But in one word i would like to say “Thank you the Craton👌! “

- Sherpa10171067055 (6/5): Craton hotel service and accessibility - The location of the hotel is very good u got easy accesses to taksim and cavahir mall also osmanbey street, the rooms are small and the extra beds arent good quality so u better get triple beds for 3 or two rooms for 4.the staff are very polite and they will help you with everything the rooms are clean and acceptable the mini bar isnt very good and it dosent have a coffee maker only a boiler.the gym is very big and usage is easy the breakfasts are ok they got breads and eggs with tea and coffee and different side dishes. Over all its a good hotel maybe not what we expect from a 5* hotel but it can work. Thanks to the staff members for helping us during our journey .
- H1773EYmarwana (2/5): Dirty unhygienic hotel. Rude staff. Definitely not 5 stars - This is by far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Upon checking in I have arrived with yellow stained bed sheets, duvet and the worst part the pillow had massive yellow stains. When spoke to the receptionist they were very unhelpful and had big attitude even though I have arrived to a hotel in such state that claim they are 5 stars. I repeatedly asked them to fully refund me as I was disgusted by their hygiene but they refused to refund me. They brought the chief housekeeping in which she witnessed the state of the duvet, pillow case and all bedding sheets that was full of yellow stains. To make the matters worst I was shocked at the state of the mattress and the massive yellow stains in them. I was in absolute disgust. Truly horror state Everyday after housekeeping come to clean and change bed sheets I get yellow stained sheets covers that genuinely had a horrible bad smell to them. I had to call them in to change it on many occasions but no hope all they do is say “sorry” and change it. No manager on sight to even to complain too which shocked me. Receptionist rude and constantly giggling and not taking care and not feeling empathetic towards me. Swimming pool was closed for most of my stay due to “maintenance” everyday. Same food for breakfast and little options. Breads were rock hard on some days. I am really concerned how this hotel has even received 5 stars. As I am frequent traveller I have never felt the need to post such detailed negative review but this hotel has pushed their limits and ignored me and my issues. I have been asking to speak to manger to discuss about my stay. However i constantly get the answer of “ manager not on sight” “manger is busy we will get in touch with you” but no one got in touch. It was as if they were hiding to not speak to me until I checked out. Please see all images taken from the hotel which shows the state of hygiene in there. I will definitely take this further with this hotel. As I have all the evidence to back this with the photos attached I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you suffer from allergies or have kids as this hotel is extremely dirty and unhygienic. Beware! I am yet to receive a call to discuss about my hotel with the manger.

- buali13 (10/5): Great Hotel in Sisli - I stayed with my family in this for 7 nights back in December 2023. The hotel was great I liked everything about it, below are some highlights from my experience with the hotel: - The location is perfect in Sisli, only 2 minutes walking from Javahir Mall and the Metro station. - The breakfast was very good, I really liked that they served fresh juices instead of bottled juices. - All staff were friendly, Mr. Fatih from the reception was so helpful and ensured we had great stay at the hotel. Moreover, the housekeeping service was almost perfect. - The room was well furnished and decorated, and everything was available. - The bathroom was very large and had all toiletries and most importantly clean towels were available. - Unfortunately free car park was not available, however, the hotel staff were very helpful with parking my car into the private parking next to the hotel and whenever I needed something from the car, they would bring it in timely manner. To sum up, I visited Istanbul 5 times, I think this was the best hotel I stayed in, definitely will consider to stay in the hotel in my next visit to Istanbul.
- Safari32783752402 (10/5): A convenient hotel location with friendly staff members - The management of the hotel took very good care of us, especially Miss Sibel Ozer. She was very helpful, spoke our language (Arabic), and was welcoming of us during our entire stay. Whenever we faced any issues, they were quick enough to solve it and make sure we’re satisfied during our stay. Also, they have a lovely cat that sits on the couch and is basically part of The Craton’s family :)

- SVANTE (6/5): Mediocre hotel great gym - The hotel is OK. But in this price range there are several better hotels. The reason I stay here is that the gym is really good, while floor with good equipment rather than what most hotels have. Unfortunately the AC doesn’t work properly so my room was quite hot. Changed room once because of this but the new room was more or less the same. Seems like their AC doesn’t have the capacity that is needed.

- Verified traveler (4/5): 2nd Floor Warning: You Will Wake Up In A Hot Sweat - Warning: don’t stay on the 2nd floor. The AC did not work. After several requests, finally was relocated to the 1st floor. Then the AC stopped working there, too. At 3am. Staff either willfully ignores your concerns or are actually seriously incompetent. If it’s hot out, don’t stay here. The gym was superb.

Was uns gestört hat, dass bei vier Frauen in einer Suite nur ein Spiegel vorhanden ist, Zustellbetten hingestellt wurden und das Zimmer immer kalt war, weil die Heizung nicht funktioniert hat.

Oda ara kapı ile yan oda bağlantılı idi, yan sesler maalesef çok geçiyordu. Temizlik vs güzel. Zeminler fayans ve temiz. Kahvaltı salonu bodrumda, cep çekmniyor mesela. Banyo bence küçük 5. yıldızlı otel için. Otelin en müthiş yanı konumu. Şişli-Mecidiyeköy metrosu Fulya çıkışından yürüyerek 3-4 dakika.Cevahir AVM dibinde. Ara ve dar bir sokakta, cadde gibi düşünmeyin. Yeni bina, etraf temiz, konum güzel. Bunun dışında büyük 5 yıldız otel ihtişamı beklemeyin. Ama bolge de sessiz bir bölgede konaklama için tercih edilebilir
- Shaimaa (10/5): Pleasant stay - Good service, modern design 5* hotel similar to Radisson Blu hotels. Very nice swimming pool, spa area Is amazing and good restaurant. The location of the hotel around the corner of Cevahir shopping centre with a huge food court to choose from. The room was comfortable with a nice view from the 7th floor. The only downside is the Noise insulation isn’t so good. The breakfast lounge was nice with many Breakfast options to choose from.

I am sorry for not remembering the name of the reception person that immediately pay the taxi - thank you! 2. The breakfast staff was so kind to explain the buffet due to allergic restrictions. Special thanks to Ismael for answering so many questions about the area and the culture. Also thanks for the young lady that prepared our omelette with a smile! 3. The hotel is new and the beds are super comfortable. We had a view of the city and were delighted each morning to see sunrise. I wish the spa was opened because I am sure the experience was going to be wonderful. Thank you all!

I would like to thank Kudret, kamil and yamini guy I forgot his name. All were very supportive and help us a lots. please be advised, still their gym and pool not open yet. and I recommend then to install a Turkish machine. فندق قريب من مجمع الجواهر وجديد وفطور ممتاز. عندهم موظف يمني مساعد وخلوق.
- MOHAMAD (2/5): معاملتهم سيئة واستغلاليون - تم اختيار الفندق لوجود مسبح داخلى بها وتم سحب المبلغ مسبقا ببطاقة الائتمان ولكن بعد استلامنا للغرفة ابلغونا بان المسبح واللياقة مقفلة بسبب عدم الاكتمال وبعدها احضرولى المسؤول واعطانى غرفة اكبر كترضية وفى نفس اليوم ولظروف خارجية حضر ابنى الاكبر لاسطنبول وحل مكانى وانا غادرت الفندق وبعد يومين وعند خروج الاهل وتسليم الغرف حضر مسؤول الفندق وطلب اجرة الغرفة ليومين اضافية من ابنى كون ان الوالد لم يسكن مع العائلة وتجنبا للمشاكل فقد تم الدفع (دفعنا قيمة غرفة لمدة اربعة ايام مع ان الاقامة الفعلية يومان) وبدون اى وسائل ترفيه
