• Marga (3/5): - No és un hotel, és una mena d'apartament turístic compartit, amb unes instal·lacions justetes. L'esmorzar inclòs és un val per un bar de prop, on només tens l'opció d'un cafè i un croissant. I el check-in, bé, un senyor que feia el mateix a diversos llocs alhora i que ens va fer esperar per després explicar quatre coses a tota castanya.

• Gian Paolo (8/5): Ottima sistemazione a due passi dalla stazione centrale - Ambiente formale, pulitissimo e confortevole. Ottimo appoggio per viaggi di lavoro anche fuori Napoli. Di fronte alla stazione centrale, comodissimo all'autonoleggio. Deliziosa colazione nel bar convenzionato di fianco alla struttura. Personale gentilissimo. Nelle informazioni di check-in trasmesse via mail mancava il recapito telefonico di appoggio per l'ingresso in struttura: il luogo non è presidiato, non c'è key-box e la consegna dei locali viene effettuata da un addetto che non si trova fisicamente sul luogo. La cosa ha generato un iniziale "smarrimento". È stato necessario installare l'app sul cellulare e cercare tra le informazioni "celate" della struttura, con una procedura non proprio intuitiva.

• Jorge (4/5): - we got there around 9 am, even tought the check in is at noon, none was there to talk to, they claim there is a recepcionist but that person arrives at noon, very difficult to find apartment, is hidding around empty doors, the area is very unsafe, I will not recommend this place
• Jürgen (8/5): - Zimmer waren sauber und wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. Frühstück wurde unten in einem kleinen Cafe angeboten. Check in und check out lief problemlos. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und bemüht. Allerdings konnte man nicht sehen wo sich die Unterkunft befindet. Es ist in einem Wohnhaus wo man nur auf einem Klingelschild den Hinweis findet. Gute Lage am Bahnhof mit weiteren Anbindungen. Allerdings ist dieser außen sehr dreckig, nicht absxhrecken lassen.
• Antonia (10/5): - Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Verwalter des Appartements. Hatte übersehen, dass ich mich 1 Tag vor Anreise hätte melden müssen. Hatte GsD einen deutschsprachigen Uber-Fahrer, der für mich bei Ankunft am App den Verwalter anrief. Dieser kam innerhalb von 5 Min und es hat alles gut geklappt. Problem war, dass der Verwalter leider kein englisch oder deutsch spricht. Nur italienisch. Ohne den Uber-Fahrer wäre ich aufgeschmissen gewesen. Unterkunft ruhig und sauber. Kleines Frühstück (Teilchen und Kaffee) gegen Voucher in einer Bar ein paar Meter weiter erhältlich. War sehr gut. Gegend um das App. tagsüber okay. Nachts nicht unbedingt. Es liegt genau gegenüber vom Bhf. Ich war alleinreisend und hab mich nach 22 Uhr dort nicht mehr aufgehalten. Andere Ecken der Stadt sind sicher. Bhf geht gar nicht.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay with good value - The room was clean and in a nice appartment, the location was a bit worse, its right next to the main train station! thats why we booked it. but it wasent safe at dark. Had a messy bar/nightclub downstairs which came with a lot of screaming and fighting. Homeless people around the train station and scetchy area. But the room was clean and had good wifi and aircondition. For the money we paid it had great value!

• Chris (2/5): The information given is very deceptive - The guy at the 'reception' is very helpful. Liked visiting the ruins in the area. This is NOT a hotel. Its one bedroom apartment behind the train station. There is no sign or number outside the property with a common basic kitchen. Breakfast: what can I say a hot drink and a Danish pastry in a cafe nearby. I suggest ask questions before you book this property. There is a city tax of 3 euros per person per night.

Schlüsselübergabe am Anfang ein bisschen kompliziert da 1. die Türe beim Eingang geschlossen war und wir nur per Zufall in das Gebäude konnten, als jemand raus kam und 2. der Besitzer nur Italienisch sprach. Sonst alles gut. Lift kostet 10 cent pro Nutzung....

I had a perfect stay with a nice breakfast close to the apartment The only thing was when I checked out the elevator didn’t work for some reason so I had to bring my suitcase down by the stairs for 6 floors 😅

(1 drink and 1 pastry included) Location (surroundings) is not very nice (garbage, safety and smells, not a problem of the accomodation itself, more of the city of Napoli.)

• Brandon (2/5): - This property is literally in the worst area. Anywhere near this train station is disgusting. Homeless everywhere, the actual building looks like it should have been demolished a long time ago. There’s so many stairs with only a one man elevator that literally looked like it was supposed to be out of service a long time ago. It didn’t look safe but it was the only way to bring the bags up unless you wanted to haul it up flights and flights of stairs. The breakfast was a joke, it’s literally blocks away. We tried looking for it but couldn’t find it and the host doesn’t barely speak English to trying to talk to him was useless. The stay is a shared kitchen space with 4 bedrooms in the same apartment all sharing a little kitchenette. The room stunk like mold or mildew but then I finally realized it was coming from the bathroom shower drain. I kept a towel over the drain the whole stay to keep out the fumes with the bathroom window open and the door closed. There’s also supposedly a cleaning lady that comes and cleans but I was robbed of my Louis Vuitton sandals and then the host was no where to be found and wouldn’t answer any calls. I left frustrated, I wouldn’t ever stay here again.

• joaquim (8/5): Bien mais ... - Pour commencer, attention, ce n'est pas un hotel mais un bed & breakfast. Le logement est un appartement reconverti en 4 chambres + un partie commune situé au 5eme étage d'un immeuble. L'ensemble est très propre et bien équipé. La literie est confortable et la chambre climatisée. Un bouteille d'eau nous a été ouverte tous les jours, ce qui a été fortement apprécié. Par contre malheureusement, en ce qui concerne la chambre pouvant héberger 4 personnes, une ancienne porte donnant sur les couloirs de l'immeuble a été condamnée mais est très mal insonorisée de ce fait, la chambre est parfois bruyante. La douche est aussi problématique, la pression d'eau état ridicule et l'eau chaude difficile a avoir (ce qui ne m'a pas dérangé vu la canicule). L’hébergement est situé prés de la gare, ce qui est un atout en ce qui concerne les navettes aéroport et les transports vers Pompéi, vesuve, etc... mais qui est aussi un gros inconvénient car le quartier pullule de marginaux, sdf, junkies, etc.. Pas très rassurant. Enfin, la communication avec le propriétaire est un cauchemar. Nous avons du le harceler au téléphone avant qu'il réponde pour valider notre arrivée, au point que nous avons failli demander à Hotels.com un relogement. Dommage car il est très sympathique en vrai.

• Holly (5/5): Just OK, would not stay again - It was very close to the terminal and we traveled to other places each day we stayed there, spent no time at the room except to shower and sleep. Room was very clean and quiet. Coming and going was easy as we had key to main door as well as the room. VERY hard to find, no name on door, was looking for a hotel but it was just rooms in a buidling that is used for other thigns as well. We paid extra for breakfast, we were given coupons for a "bar down the street to get breakfast" but the place was never open at 7 am when we were told it would be, so this was a waste of our money. The elevator scared me to death, VERY old, VERY TINY (barely held 2 people) Staff at desk spoke no english, rental guy at least had a vice translator. The area was horrible, lots of homeless that slept outside at train station and garbage was all around on the streets, streets smelled like urine. It was noisy the first night becuase the other renters made a lot of noise...yelling bak and forth, partying, etc. We weren't told what to do with the keys when we left and noone was at the desk at 7am so we just left keys on the floor, no box to drop them in or even desk to lay them on...hopefully they found them.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Vacanza in famiglia - Note positive: la zona é comodissima essendo di fianco alla stazione, é ottima per spostarsi con metro e treni. La colazione é servita a pochi metri in un piccolo bar "STE" gentilissimi e tutto buonissimo. Noi avevamo la stanza adiacente alla cucina e sentivamo un po' di rumore. Al 5 piano con ascensore. Note negative:Le lenzuola e le asciugamani non sono affatto di qualità. Gli asciugamani erano molli e gialle. Il bagnoschiuma non di qualità. Dalla doccia usciva odore di fogna. Stanza piccola per 4. Poco spazio per abiti e valige.

Nice man. In Naples the water is sometimes not too hot, no real problem though.

• Gérard (8/5): - Bon séjour mais l’accueil est compliqué surtout si on arrive un peu tard Quartier moyen, difficile de trouver la porte de l’immeuble pas d’accueil sur place il faut appeler et quelqu’un vient au bout de 10/15 min accueil assez froid uniquement en italien Petit déjeuner (café croissant) à prendre dans un bar à 100m Ensuite ça va … même si le quartier est un peu glauque !

• Agnieszka (10/5): Very enjoyable stay at GB Vesuvius - Great location - next to Piazza Garibaldi, good point to start all the Napoli adventures. The rooms where clean and the big beds very comfortable. Room no 2 has an amazing view on Vesuvius. The apartments have common kitchen area where you can make yourself some tea, coffee or use a small stove and fridge. Definitely a nice place to recommend you to stay in Napoli.

• Keisuke (10/5): Excellent. - Great location, clean rooms, excellent breakfast at cafe nearby. Nothing bad to say about the place! Area surrounding the place is a but sketchy at night but apart from that, amazing place. 100% would come back.
• Lukáš (6/5): Pleasant - A shared apartment in which you have your own room with a bathroom. The room size was great, clean and tidy. Nice view of Vesuvius from the room window. I couldn't find or connect to wifi so I had to use up all my data for a work video call. The location around the station is not pleasant, many homeless people, but that is understandable. Weak breakfast - only croissant and coffee.
• Imelda (10/5): This place is mind blowing, the location, the cleanliness and the service is five star! - Amazing! This place is mind blowing, the location is right beside to Napoli Centrale, we have no worry to coming home late with kids. The room is superb with clean modern decorative interior, they also provide housekeeping, clean up the bathroom, threw out the trash and even turned on the AC for us before we're back, this service make this place at another level of hospitality. Armando really responsive and the staff are helpful and informative. For sure we'll back! No reason to find other place with this five star quality, GB Vesuvius is a gem.
• Liubov (8/5): Very good - nice clean room, perfect if you need to stay near the train station there is no reception at all. 1-2 days before arrival the hotel asked about the arrival time. if you come 1 hour earlier than said, there is a possibility that you will wait 2 hours before someone will come to check you in (i.e much later than you expected time arrival). That’s not convenient at all and wastes your time.
• Maria (8/5): Very good - The host was very responsive. The place is super clean and comfy. You can find everything you need. The breakfast in a local cafe is a big plus. Although it is very close to the city center and public transport, the area is noisy and unpleasant

Ce qui était unique et très sympa, c est l’accueil , une personne souriante et l accueillante en ayant eau jus d’orange fruits café thé à disposition . Il manquait cependant une couverture en plus pour la nuit . Sinon nous reviendrons certainement .

• Verified traveler (8/5): - The guesthouse was conveniently located near Napoli Centrale train station, which was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Easy access to the metro to get to the historical part of town as well as the port. However, the surrounding neighborhoods of the guesthouse weren’t as clean as the historical part of town and because it’s near the train station, it could get quite noisy, so that was a bit of a bummer. The guesthouse itself was clean and comfortable. Wish the WiFi worked in the room though; the signal was only strong in the common area. We’d recommend this place if you’re on a budget.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Not a Pleasant Stay... - The property is an apartment that has been converted into 4 rooms and a communal kitchen. It is located close to the train station, but the area feels quite unsafe. The owner is not on site and is slow to respond to communication. This caused us problems. When we arrived at the building we were unable to get in. When someone left the building we were able to get inside and sit in the shade. Eventually the owner replied to our message but then we had to wait for 50min for his colleague to arrive. The owner claimed to have tried to contact us but we had no emails/missed calls. On the second day we had no hot water. We messaged the owner at 8.08. At 9.28 he replied, by which time we had left. We did not even receive an apology. The discription is not correct - there is no concierge and our room did not have a bathtub as described. Decor was fresh, bed OK & nice toiletteries. There was free water and a kettle in the communal kitchen. Breakfast at a restaurant nearby was one pastry (croissant or brioche) with a coffee. Normally there is no luggage storage, but the owner allowed us to leave our bags until 1.30, before the next check in. We travel a lot and this is the worst experience we have had. I would not recommend a stay here
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Property clean and well appointed. Excellent A/C, super comfy mattress and comforter. Very convenient as Train and Metro Stations are within steps, which includes Airport Shuttle bus as well. The only drawback is the coffee shop they use to serve breakfast...it was not good at all.
