• ingridoR7161JH (10/5): Bsea hotel - The location of the hotel is right on the beach. The room that I was in had a view of the beach. The hotel has a big pool there that is great for kids and adults. The restaurant there has really good breakfast. The room was clean and it has a TV.
• teodoras860 (2/5): Hotel under construction with bad facilities - We had no hot water and a clogged sink. After waiting two hours with no response, and only after insisting, we were moved to another room at midnight. That room was next to an active construction area, and we were woken up early by loud banging. The entire hotel is under construction, and we even saw bricks falling into the pool area, which felt genuinely dangerous. The hotel isn’t worth the money. It has potential and a beautiful sea view, but it’s completely undermined by poor facilities and staff carelessness.
• Emmi20022 (8/5): We booked it again - We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights a few years ago and we had absolutely nothing to complain about. Before we booked we knew what we would expect for this price. We have arrived at night, and we had no issue with getting to our rooms, the guy at the reception even showed us our room and helped us with the luggages. We hade a one story room, beds where upstairs. it was clean, had everything we needed in it. Of course, the hotel is not top modern 5 star resort. but the sunrise from our room cannot be compared to anything. it is an older hotel. there are some cracks here and there, but I did not came as an inspector, but as a guest who wanted to enjoy the ocean - I this is what I did. We are heading there again ina few weeks. I really hope to get the same room - so that I can enjoy the same view.
• 494thadl (2/5): Worst Kept Hotel in Cancun - This place is the biggest dump in Cancun. When we got there it looked worse than a motel 6 or giant Mexican bathroom. It hasn't been repainted or remodeled in probably 50 years. Zero amenities. Toilets barely flush and you can't flush toilet paper so your room will smell like poop. You even have to buy your own drinking water and lug it to your room because the hotel doesn't provide this. Everything there looks like it's falling apart and dirty. The only good things are the beachfront, good security, and restaurant... and the staff was good overall. But we will never stay there again. Every other hotel in the area is better. Look at my attached pictures and you will see this clearly.

• Helby (2/5): - I rented three rooms at this hotel, and unfortunately, the experience was terrible from start to finish. One of the beds had bugs (possibly bed bugs or ticks), making it impossible to feel comfortable. The elevator felt unsafe, the floors were uneven, and I saw both dead and alive roaches inside the property. On top of that, there was loud construction during the day, making it very hard to relax. Transportation services arranged through the hotel were another big problem — they were very expensive, the drivers showed up late, acted unprofessional, and overcharged us. At check-in, the hostess was unfriendly and impolite, which set a negative tone for the entire stay. Overall, this hotel was poorly maintained, noisy, and unprofessional. For the high price and the fact that I booked three rooms, I expected a much better experience. I would not recommend staying here.
• Douglas Alejandro (2/5): - The property was extremely old. Water pressure in the shower was terrible, and sometimes the toilets would not flush. There are no curtains in the bathrooms, so everyone outside can see you. It was also extremely dirty; there were roaches all over the place, and I even found a tick on my bed. There were also small bees inside the room.

• Asif (2/5): - The worst stay of my life, first of all the room cleanliness was subpar and overall was not clean in addition the bathroom layout was terrible with the toilet being like 6 inches away from the toilet and the overall bathroom size being small which made it impossible to use it comfortably. Now this is minor in comparison to what happened next was that someone from the hotel managed to steal 1400$ cash CAD from the safety deposit box which i had set a passcode to in addition to that a gold bracelet and a MacBook was also stolen from our room. And we have a police report to prove this. Now the passcode to the safety deposit box I had set and only knew about it so that meant that someone from the hotel had someway to override it and managed to open it up and steal cash from our locker. I have a police report to prove this. After we had found this out and reported it to the front office the next morning the manager came and told us that there was no camera for the hallway and was still investigating but instead of trying to find who did this she came into our room and had the audacity to start searching our luggage and stuff like we were hiding it. Absolutely I would recommend this place to no one if you value safety of your selves book another hotel. Other minor stuff included that the rooms floors are literally falling apart, the bathroom area in general was not clean with the shower drain leaching out smell in addition the bathroom had no ventilation.
• Linda (6/5): - El lugar esta bien para el precio, hay seguridad y limpiaban el cuarto todos los dias, necesite’ toalla y me la hicieron llegar, la comunicación con la persona en la oficina estuvo bien, pude hacerla atravez de WhatsApp y llamadas. El acceso a restaurantes y lugares esta cerca y la piscina y playa estuvo muy accesible también. Hay que hacerle algunos arreglos a los cuartos en la plumeria pq se tapa el inodoro, bañera y lavamanos fácilmente. Nos proveen con utensilios para comer pero no hay una parte para poder lavar los platos etc., todo debe estar separado, pero de lo contrario todo estuvo bien.

• W2634MQnataliah (8/5): Worth It If You’re on a Budget, But Be Cautious - As I entered the hotel, I started to notice all the little details—I wanted to write an honest review. I’m not going to lie, I almost canceled my reservation after reading all kinds of negative comments about this place. But here we go! I was looking for a very cheap and affordable vacation to Cancun, and this was one of the most budget-friendly options available. I told myself: All I need is a bed, AC, and a shower. And to be fair, I got all three. The hotel isn’t modern-looking, but I noticed they seem to be taking feedback seriously. I saw staff constantly painting, fixing, and renovating various parts of the property. They were painting the front of the hotel white and working on different maintenance tasks throughout my stay. As for the rooms—they were very spacious. The air conditioning in my room was amazing, and so was the Wi-Fi. I understand why some guests have complained about the bathrooms; they don’t have ventilation, which can be an issue. Just make sure to cover the small hole in the bathroom if you're concerned. The first two nights were amazing… until our fourth day. I noticed my son had a few bites on his chin. At first, I thought they were mosquito bites—he hadn’t slept well the night before, so that seemed reasonable. But when I took off his pajamas, I saw he had bites all over his body. That’s when I realized we were dealing with bedbugs. I immediately informed the front desk. The staff member was kind and quickly offered to move us to another room, since we still had two nights left. I think they should definitely reinforce regular fumigation, as bedbugs can happen even in five-star hotels—but prevention is key. Overall, despite that issue, it was a good experience. The restaurant served very good food at fair prices. The pool area was always clean, and I appreciated the rules: no loud music, no smoking, and no excessive alcohol. It created a peaceful environment for families. Final thoughts: This is one of the cheapest hotels in the area, so I didn’t come with high expectations—I came with an open mind. If you’re looking for basic amenities at a low price, it can work. Just make sure to check the beds for bedbugs as soon as you arrive.
• Jose (8/5): - We stay one night, we have early flight, it took us 10 minutes to get to the airport, the hotel has a big parking a plus for us because we have a rental car, the room ok for what we payed, it was clean and has a good a/c. The hotel it's in a very good location, nice view of the beach. Definitely will be our choice next time that we have a early flight.

No chair to sit in the room, floor wa dirty all the time i was there, microwave as so rusty inside and had electrical issue. No comforter on the bad, i was cold all the time. No phone to call the receptionist. You had to leave your id for towels which is not safe to do. If you lost a towel they charge you. The little cabanas in the pool area were bad shape. The ATM was not working. This was the worst place i have stayed and I was very dissatisfied. I left like i couldn't do anything because you will get in trouble. Customer should not feel this way while on vacation.

Flickering light so made it hard to sleep. No tv upstairs and tiny screen downstairs in main area. Their internet was down so couldn’t pay for breakfast without finding and atm that would take visa. Overall, extremely unimpressed.

• Mahmut (2/5): - Extremely Disappointed I trusted Expedia because of its advertisements and the detailed descriptions provided on the platform. The hotel experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting for both me and my wife. The hotel room we were given looked nothing like what was shown in the photos on the Expedia website. Online, the room appeared spacious, bright, and equipped with modern furnishings. In reality, we were placed in a room directly under the roof, with old, worn-out furniture, rusty metal chairs, a metal bed box, and even a rusty iron curtain rod on the main window. When we arrived, the room was unbearably hot. The split AC unit took a long time to begin cooling the room. The bathroom was a disaster—dirty water pooled on the floor during showers and even started moving toward the room corridor. There was no bathtub, even though Expedia lists a "shower/tub combination" in the room description. Amenities were minimal: one tiny shampoo bottle, one sliver of soap, and a single roll of toilet paper for two adults. This level of service was unacceptable and far from what was advertised. On top of the poor room conditions, the beach was also a letdown. The shore and water were filled with thick seaweed and plant matter, making it unappealing and uncomfortable for swimming. That might explain why very few people—mainly children—were even in the water. Despite Cancun’s reputation for beautiful beaches, this area was not clean or inviting.

When you open the door of the room you have to go up a spiral type of stairs and it’s just a pain and the layout of the room its incredibly odd and strange/awkward. Otherwise great place.

We got ocean view and it was perfect! There’s a laundry room convenient store and restaurant/bar connected within the hotel and it was amazing! And the bus stop is literally in front of the hotel. Definitely would come back!
• Tonya (6/5): - Bsea Cancun Plaza has some definite highlights — the pool is beautiful with plenty of seating, and the beach access is easy and scenic. These made for some great relaxing moments. However, the room itself left a bit to be desired. Our AC unit leaked the first night, and although maintenance came quickly, we still had to use a towel to catch the ongoing condensation. Not ideal. Also, be aware that no small hand or face towels are provided, so it’s smart to bring your own disposable cloths. The restaurant is cash only, and having pesos is a must since the on-site mini market gives change only in local currency. Overall, the location and amenities are good, but the little inconveniences added up.

• makayla (8/5): - This was My mom and I my second time staying at the Bsea Hotel in just eight months, and once again, we had a wonderful experience! The ocean view from our room was absolutely stunning, the pool was great, and the beach was beautiful crystal-clear blue water with very little seaweed. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming from the gate attendants and reception. The lady at reception that's there everyday is so kind and accommodating to us. to housekeeping and even the staff at the hotel’s little corner store. Their hospitality really made our stay feel special. The on-site restaurant with oceanfront views was also a highlight! The pancakes and French toast were delicious, and the piña coladas were amazing. We also really enjoyed the chicken wings and fries, and the chicken burritos hit the spot. The prices were fair, but just a heads-up they do include a tip in the bill automatically not sure if it's everytime and it’s not mentioned unless you check the receipt. but still, the food and view make it well worth it! While the hotel could definitely use some renovations and touch ups, the great service, location, and overall vibe keep bringing us back. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

• Gabor (6/5): - Very noisy old rotting air conditioner which was not always functioning. A little bit of mold smell in the room, otherwise its an ok place to stay if you are on a budget. The pool, the beach, the restaurant are all pretty good, the staff is friendly, drinks are good too, everything relatively reasonably priced.
• Timoteo (8/5): - My 3 nights stay at this hotel was fantastic. I found my room safe, clean, comfortable that has a fridge & microwave with a balcony over-looking the pool & ocean. Though the building looks a bit old, it seems well maintained.The staff were friendly & hospitable. Last but not least, it was very convinient to have access to the beach just outside the pool area.
• Dariusz (8/5): - I was worried that the property will be in worse condition, but it was not so bad…the view from the hotel room was excellent , nice staff and service people. For the money that i paid it was ok

• Audra (10/5): - I was worried after seeing negative reviews prior to my trip. However, i had no choice and decided to roll the dice. I'm so glad i did because i absolutely loved this place. The beach, the layout, the staff, the shop, the restaurant, the views, the rooms-- everything i loved. I have to come back in 6 months and then again 6 months after that. I will definitely be returning here. Please don't change anything!
• Nancy (4/5): - The pictures for this property are very misleading. It is in great disrepair. Very outdated. When I asked for wash clothes, they informed me they didn't have them because of something to do with hygiene. WHAT? Also, our last day there, we couldn't use a CC to pay for breakfast, even though that was how we did it during our stay. This made us short on cash, when it came time to pay for our shuttle, which we were also told that they took a CC. The pool was very nice, and our view was fantastic, even though our "balcony" was only 1 foot deep. That is the only thing that made our stay even remotely nice. I would not recommend this hotel.
• Jennifer (10/5): - The place is good if you’re staying 1-2 nights and if you’re going to be at the parks and don’t want to spend in all inclusive hotel since you’re goin to be all day out. Easy transportation, has a restaurant with good tacos and is a beach front property . The property need some remodeling. Bad smell and the elevator some time doesn’t work is to old .
• Marc (6/5): Not recommended - Great location but overall not a great hotel. Very old and smelly, they are not there to actually you. Plus they make you pay cash a lot saying they have difficulty with credit card debit machines. The cleaning service is not great they just do the minimum and the minimum isn’t too much.

• MARIO (10/5): - The location is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. Ample parking is available, and while we only used the restaurant once, we found the food to be delicious.

• Melanie (8/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that would have been great is the food was included in the price of the stay. The pool was warm during the day, the room was very nice. The beach was amazing and the food at the resturant was good also.
• Tamara (8/5): - Very friendly service and clean. Minor updates needed but worth the price. Beautiful beach that was well maintained. Not much to do on the property and limited dining hours. However, nice place to sleep if you have excursions and things to do throughout the day.

• Sherri (2/5): - Where do I even start. The elevator was broken but they put us on the fourth floor at the far end. The toilet was broken. Asked for it to be fixed every day but no one came ever to even look at it. They sold us tickets to an activity and upon arrival to the island we were at that point informed it was cancelled. Hotel guy told me we must have been told before getting on the boat cause that’s what they are supposed to do. Well why would I have boarded a boat to leave for 8 hours with no way home before that if I had been told it was cancelled that day? So a full day wasted and they wouldn’t refund the tickets! No warm water in the shower. Shower curtain rod broken and wouldn’t stay up. Refused to give us an extra pillow. No plug for sink to do dishes. Felt like a step above camping.
• Shani (6/5): - The checkin was fairly straightforward - had to check in then wait till 3 to get key and pay deposit for damage. I was therefore concerned when I got to the room and found there were already marks on the sheet and there were no hangars, iron or hairdryer (apparently you get these at reception along with beach towels). Restaurant was lovely- reasonably priced and sea view. One lift didn’t go to gf on departure so needed to do some hoodwinking to call the other lift.
• Gina (10/5): - Happy with my stay, but upset I left in a hurry to the airport and forgot to get my security deposit back, and I’m messaging property to help me get my money back and they have responded in what was needed for money transfer and they have yet not responded back to me after I have sent my information for my money back. It’s been 3 days without a response from staff
• Manuel (4/5): - Property is really run down and I had to wait 20 minutes for them to check the room for damages when checking out
• Teresa (10/5): - Affordable, clean, safe, and easy access to the beach.
• Q2803IRdavidp (2/5): Do not use the towels. - Stayed there for 4 days. NEVER AGAIN. we got charged for dirty towels out of the deposit, for normal used of towels. Have been all over the world and this is a first. Nunca mas me quedare aqui. Cobraron por usar la toallas por secarse después bañar. Uso normal. Nunca me había pasado en ningún lugar. Decepcionante.
