• Martina (5/5): Ok for a clean room but very warm. No interaction from staff. More like an air b&b not hotel. - Quite convenient Location and cleanliness. No bar or lounge. Breakfast option was not suitable or standard. Room very hot with no AC.
• Tanyse (8/5): Loved the location and the comfy beds - Fabulous location central and easy to get around The smoking lounge was a problem it was very noisy on the weekends and we could not leave the patio door open without getting second hand smoke.

• mamoe1981 (7/5): Not a bad choice for the location (but not worth going back) - The hotel shines really for one main reason: location. Very easy to reach from Heathrow by a direct train. Many good eating options around. Really enjoyed walking through Kensington and admiring all the beautiful old architecture. Cleanliness of the room was adequate, and I will say the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom incredibly spacious. I've traveled a lot and have yet to see such sullen, indifferent staff at the reception as at this particular establishment. Instantly bad impression immediately upon arrival. I don't ask for obsequiousness, but obvious disinterest in work and customers is very off-putting. The price was too high for this kind of experience.

• Eilish (8/5): Nice centrally located hotel with friendly staff. - Centrally located, close to museums and 2 underground stations. I was in a front road facing first floor room and street noise very minimal. The lift to my floor was not working. It was ok for me as I had little luggage and was on the first floor,but had I been on a higher floor it wouldn’t have been an issue.
• Roger (3/5): - On third floor but lift was not operating. We are senior citizens & having to climb 3 storey's was exhausting & taking some luggage, very difficult. Staff helped, full marks to them. But there were rooms on second floor, why put us on third, very difficult climb. Very unhappy with this situation considering what we thought this hotel may provide😫 Sime recognition of extreme phtsical cobditions associated with not havung lift access to 3RD FLOOR😫

• Margaret (7/5): Overall it was a good experience, would stay again. - We had an issue with our first room and the reception staff relocated us to a better and larger room. Which is what we should have had in the first place. Location was good, short walk to Earls Court Station or a little bit further to Gloucester Road Station. Room cleaning was great. Our first room was very small and located on the roadway. Our hallway had a leak coming through the light fitting.

• John (7/5): - Staff were excellent and we were able to check in early. The room was great value, very clean, had a bath & shower, hairdryer, iron, safe & fridge in the room. The bed was so comfortable. The complimentary toiletries were great. Due to having old sash windows it was very draughty, there was no heating even though we turned it on from the 2 dials on the wall behind the TV so it was very cold even in May. The radiator also was off in the bathroom despite being on. No Alcohol is available but we knew that Prior. Only Halal or Malaysian breakfast available. The wardrobe doors did not shut properly due to the chest of draws inside, and the hangers did not fit in properly. Would definately stay again though.

• Brian (10/5): If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle with easy access to the centre. - From the reviews I read, I chose the hotel because of its location. The area is very quiet, it is near Earls Court and on the walk to the tube there are really nice restaurants. I recommend the Italian. The staff were friendly and helpful. A bar - it wasn't open when I was there.

• Maureen (9/5): Nice hotel stay in heart of South Kensington - Rooms and bathrooms updated. Great location helpful staff Our room in back was a bit noisy on 2 of 4 nights there, on weekend. I think there’s an event space out back or pub? It didn’t have its own breakfast room. The restaurant it used next door (in basement for breakfast) was limited in non Asian breakfast options and the continental breakfast was very limited for the price. We went elsewhere.

Insgesamt gute Lage und keine Straßengeräusche, wie Verkehrs- oder U-Bahnlärm etc. Leider laute Nebengeräusche des höher gelegenen Zimmers, vermutlich durch Holzfußboden. Lediglich eine Bettdecke im Doppelbett. Etwas harte Matratzen.

• Helen (9/5): Great location in a quiet area. - Great location for a concert at the Royal Albert Hall, 20 mins through a safe and busy area. The hotel was on a very quiet road and in a nice neighbourhood. The beds were very comfortable and there was a good air con unit in the room, which was very spacious and clean. No information in the room about facilities / restaurant etc. it would have been helpful to know about what the hotel offered.

Shower was not great, the nozzle on the wall was almost coming out the wall and if you are over 6ft you can't actually stand up under main shower head. Air con was very noisy too but manageable for a short stay.

There are like 2 holes at the positions of where people sleep. This was really disappointing. For me the quality of sleep take precedence over the rest.

• Delphine (8/5): Séjour très agréable - L'hôtel est très bien situé, à distante presque égale de 3 stations de métro (Earl's court, Gloucester Road et High street Kensington). Le personnel est gentil et accueillant. La chambre est bien équipée : sèche-cheveux, fer et table à repasser, réfrigérateur et nombreux rangements. Nous y étions avions déjà séjourné l'année dernière et y retournerons sans doute. Nous étions un peu trop proches de l'ascenseur qui peut être bruyant le matin.
• Hinke (7/5): Ok. - De locatie Het was ‘s nachts wat lawaaierig. Er liep een metro vlak langs en er was een Seishabar onder het raam van onze kamer. Op zaterdag nacht ging daar tot diep in de nacht de muziek door.

• Lisa (8/5): Very good hotel. - Very nice location, quiet. Nice room and reception and cleaning staff were excellent and very helpful. Spotlessly clean room. There were very limited on site food options and the water in the fridge could have been topped up daily. A few extra towels or bath robe would have been nice. A lip on the shower would be great to stop the water.
• john (8/5): Spotless and spacious rooms in a loverly part of Kensington . - We loved the location , quiet , just a few minutes away from the hustle of Earl’s Court and Cromwell road .the hotel was spotless. Probably one of the most spacious rooms we’ve ever stayed in . There wasn’t a bar , there is a garden room which was closed . Breakfast or meals are not offered . However there is an independent facility below the hotel . This is Asian therefore no true English breakfast , understandable due to their religious beliefs . Don’t worry , there are plenty of suitable cafe’s and bulbs selling good food well within walking distance .

• Hanka (7/5): Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Luft nach oben. - Sehr gute Lage. Earls Court als Undergroundbahnhof vereint die wichtigsten Linien in London. Das Zimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Matrazen leicht durchgelegen. Aber man hat sich wohlgefühlt, auch wegen der Lage und dem netten und hilfsbereiten Personal. Frühstück hatten wir nicht gebucht, weil wir die Kritiken gelesen hatten. Das war aber kein Problem, weil an der U-Bahn-Station sehr gute Bäcker sind. Es schien die ganze Zeit die Sonne, da hatten wir keine Probleme mit der Laune. Fenster könnten besser schließen.

Booked months ago to make sure our stay was confirmed. Checked for a room in the weeks leading up to find all rooms were less than half of the price.

• Ronnie (8/5): Lovely hotel and friendly staff but the kitchen let it down at breakfast time. - Property was close to the Albert Hall, so location was perfect for us. Staff were very helpful/friendly. Room was spotless. Bed was not very comfortable and there were various lights on ceiling, which interfered with sleep. Difficult to control heat in room.- No instruction. Went for breakfast but advised no buffet as it is not in busy season so choice was limited if you did not want Malaysian food.
• Florence (8/5): - Location was in a nice area, close to two tube stations. Staff was very nice, held our bags while we went to lunch since they do not allow early check in. Room was clean and large for the price point. Plumbing seemed... off and left a mild sewer smell in the bathroom, the door was spring loaded closed which was probably to mitigate the smell in the room. For people not accustomed to the fact that everyone in London is overpriced, the value might be hard to see. We were there last minute the days before the London Marathon and most everything in the mid-range was booked.

Quality bedding and towels. Supermarket is a 3 minute walk away. Getting out of the bath/shower is a big step.
