• Thomas (9/5): - It always amazes me when I visit Italy, a land where coffee is almost a religion and I find packets of instant coffee in my room. Thankfully, Caracciolo 13 provides an espresso machine. If one small jolt of extremely strong coffee isn't for you, run 3 cycles through the same pod and you end up with a good size cup of tasty java. That attention to detail, the espresso machine, tells you all you need to know about Caracciolo 13. Salvatore made us feel quite welcome and gave us several valuable tips about transportation, points of interest, and dining spots.

Check in times are a little tricky given they had a door issue at the time. They accommodated my slightly late check in and that was appreciated.

• Jodi (10/5): A true gem of a property ! - Caracciolo 13 Rooftop & Suites is a fabulous place to stay whilst visiting Naples. It is positioned on the waterfront, but quietly away from the hustle and bustle of the main town, yet only a short walk away. The apartment was beautifully decorated and perfectly clean inside, with the added benefit of lovely roof terrace. Maid service came and refreshed our beds and replenished any products. A nice little touch for a self catering apartment. Don’t bother scrolling for a place to stay in Naples, just book Caracciolo 13.

• Polona (9/5): Superb - Wonderful Stay in a Perfect Location Our stay was excellent! Although the apartment didn’t have a sea view, it was very comfortable, well-equipped, and made a perfect base for exploring the area. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, which really added to the experience. We loved the location – right on the Lungomare, close to Posillipo and the Mergellina train station, where you can catch a direct train to the modern town of Pompeii. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the bar downstairs had a great vibe. Biking along the Lungomare was a highlight – it was an easy and scenic ride to Piazza del Plebiscito, or in the other direction toward Marechiaro, Gaiola, and the tip of Posillipo.

Both rooms were beautifully curated and calming. Since we like reading and listening to music in the evening it was a wonderful experience. Our host Salvatore took special care of us, and we greatly appreciate his efforts over the Easter week end.

• Marta (8/5): Very good - The room is spacious, stylish and clean. There are some nice amenities like coffee pods, tea and bottles of water that are restocked daily. The highlights for me were the location, right on the seafront, in walking distance to great cafés and restaurants; and the host! Salvatore is the most attentive and caring host. He arranged for a self check-in since my flight arrived late in the evening, all super smooth. The sound isolation between rooms and floors isn't perfect. This wasn't an issue for me, but something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper!

• Xiaoxi (7/5): sigh...am I an exceptional? - Location is indeed perfect and I love the building where the asset locates. I still remembered the fantastic smell on the ground floor of the building in the morning, like freshly baked homemade cake. I didn't know it would involve a self service checkin and I don't have a chance to meet anyone at the front desk. However the process went smooth and the direction was clear. My room located on the 3rd floor and the front desk on the 7th. It was my mistake that bearing too much expectation after reading all the fantastic reviews of the rooftop view. It turned out that 3rd floor guests don't have a chance of a glimpse - no public area, rather suits or rooftop suits - as the host replied to me. My room was very close to the building opposite so I have to close the curtain for the entire stay. It was a cold night at the end of December but unfortunately, I had a cold water shower and the air conditioner didn't work at all. The showerhead and popes, long overdue for repair, have a crack. Hot water splashes uncontrollably and turns cold after three minutes. Terrible first night in Napoli, in Italy. Ten nights in Italy, I gave off five 10 scores, two 9 score and gave this one a 7.

For a room that was over €200 they should have had a mini bar or offered a little more. The only thing that was offering was 2 sugar packets, two coffee packets, two tea packets and a vase of tap water not even bottled.
