- Bettina (7/5): Didn't meet my expectations of a 5 star hotel - Lobby was lovely Room sizeable and comfortable View of the park was beautiful No sound proofing. You hear the neighbours showering and filling the bath- people in hallways. Hallway and elevator vents were all thickly covered in dust. Wifi isnt included in cost of the room- which is absurd given the cost of the room- we stayed for 4 nights. Payment was by card only- then we were charged a card surcharge- increasing the cost of the already expensive room by 1.5% - theres no way to pay to avoid this- feels money grabby.

- Paul (9/5): Great hotel in a good location - Nice hotel with good size rooms. Our room overlooked the shrine and Hyde Park with views of the city skyline. Quick walk into the city and to Oxford Street the other way. Trains and buses nearby. Bigger range for breakfast
- Carol (1/5): Rubbish service, our room was let to another party. - Nothing at all!!!!!!!!! Booked this property in November 2025 and paid for it at the same time. On 15th May 2026 at approx 14.00, the day of our check in, I received a call from Pullman to advise that our booking could not be honoured as the hotel was full???. They arranged another hotel for the night with NO consultation with us. We did not have a car so that was an issue. When we arrived at the Pullman they insisted the hotel was fully booked even though we booked in November 2025 and that we had no choice but to go to the other site. The night manager at the other site was great, she upgraded our room and was very helpful unlike the Pullman.

- melanie (9/5): Great hotel - Central location, view over the park, quiet Just need to do some deep cleaning of the arm chairs in the room, as there was food, hair, dirt etc under the cushion part, other than that the rooms are clean, tidy and well presented. Service at the bar was a little slow, ordered icecream for the kids and it took forever to come out and was wrong, didn't send it back or say anything, just told the kids to eat it and don't worry about it.

- Tom (8/5): - Bed was big and very comfortable, and the view was spectacular. There was one couch, a small coffee table, a clear working desk and an office chair, a small bench for the coffee machine and kettle and a mini fridge. The bathroom was suitable, with a large enough bath. AC was fantastic and room was quiet enough. The TV didn't have connection to WIFI, no streaming channels at all, and we could not cast our phones to it for anything other than audio. Also, the hotel WIFI is unsecured and that is not acceptable in this day and age, especially for such a high level chain in a big city. Also, there was only one blanket/doona for the bed which barely fit the mattress itself and no additional sheets, which was surprising and a bit of a let down. The room was not soundproof, which the ad claimed.
- Karla (9/5): A comfortable, family‑friendly stay in a fantastic location, perfect for ANZAC Day and one we look - We had a wonderful stay at Pullman Hyde Park Sydney. The location was excellent, with a beautiful view overlooking the park and within easy walking distance of everything we needed. It was especially convenient for our family while our kids were marching in the ANZAC Day parade. The kids absolutely loved the pool, while my husband and I really enjoyed relaxing in the spa. Our room was spacious and perfectly suited for our family, and having a bathtub was a huge bonus for the kids. Everything was comfortable, well presented, and thoughtfully set up for families. We will definitely be returning next year for the same event. Honestly, there wasn’t much we didn’t like — our stay was very enjoyable overall. The only small downside was that we didn’t stay longer!

The Maid Cleaner was excellent, Which kept my Room Very Clean, In Room Dining and ordering was Excellent. Probably Some More Towels For The Bathroom, and a couple of the Spa Bath, and a Glass Rack for the Champagne and Wine glasses, So they don’t fall over and break accidentally, and a Cleaning Cloth for any other spills were , the breakfast bench is,

Very good value too for central hotel. The car park charges seemed very high and not included in stay rate. Breakfast was very basic. The view from the upper floors of Hyde park and cbd are fantastic - if I could make a suggestion, I’d get the window cleaners in

- Gerard (5/5): The location is excellent, but the hotel itself is certainly dated and doesn't warrant 5-star rating - The location is excellent, and the single best aspect of the hotel. There were a number of small things that weren't good. The breakfast is a self-serve buffet style, which I wouldn't expect at a supposed 5-star hotel., with a very limited range, and no difference day on day Also, the only thing made to order is an omelette, and the other items depicted on advertisements in the elevators are ala carte and need to be paid for. The rooftop pool isn't heated (or even warm, never mind hot) - any time we tried to use it the water was freezing cold, and uncomfortable to attempt. Even to go swimming our family group of four had only two slippers and two robes available. Now the major issues. We stayed for eight nights, and half-way through our stay the air-conditioning created a water leak in the room. We were asked to move, and moved to a 'lesser' room (insofar as the fridge was worse (smaller, without a side tray), the view not as good, the tap in the bathroom leaked water constantly, etc.) and were compensated with two 'free drink' vouchers, for a family of four. And when my wife tried to use them the free drinks were limited to wine or beer, neither of which she drinks, and weren't allowed use them for anything else. Also, there was a broken glass in our room when we were moved into the new one, which was definitely a dangerous items lying about.

- bellapretenda (2/5): Dining over-priced and inedible - Easter Monday a last local resort. Not somewhere I would usually choose but hoped it would be tasty and reasonable. My main “beef” is the serious lack of vegetarian options. The choice of cauliflower steak was a total disaster. Raw. Cold. Drizzled with, not sufficient, sauce. Impossible to cut through. ($30). The seasonal vegetables overcooked. The fries were good. Paul served and as always his warmth and professionalism overshadowed the culinary disappointment. It is and should remain a cafe. With contemporary and varied delicious reasonable prices. Good wine list. Time to rethink local and in-house wants.

Great roof top pool where we spent lots of time. Poolside room service was a great idea for those days. Staff a really helpful. Shout out to Izzy who made my kids hot chocolate with pictures on it. They asked for this every morning Nothing

- Vin (10/5): A amazing stay so looking forward to coming back. - Check in was good although I did message 2 day's before about paying cash and got no response so when I arrived was informed card only even though I had the correct amount so I had to go the bank to deposit it then noticed I was charged a higher amount than I was quoted. But the breakfast was amazing the staff were exceptional and the food is so good. I especially loved the flavour water in the foyer. And Brandon the concierge was amazing even printed my tickets which I struggled to do at home he is a credit to the Pullman establishment and I hope he gets recognised for his efforts always friendly and so helpful i know it's his job but did always love seeing him each day . I work in hospitality and he went above and beyond with his job . The exhaust fan in the bathroom never works.

- Andrew (8/5): Great view, shame about the dirty windows - Amazing location overlooking the War Memorial end of Hyde Park. I specifically chose the park view room, but the east facing view was also great (could see from the lift area or from the rooftop). I wish I had come more prepared to make use of the rooftop pool area, though it was pleasant just to go up there at night when no-one else was using the area and appreciate the city lights. Close to many eateries up Oxford St, and a convenience store just along the road. Walking distance across the park to the city, or Museum station for rail access. Room itself was large and comfortable, with a desk I was able to set up on for remote working. Windows were really dirty on the outside - I know it must be hard to keep things clean that high up but when the view is specifically mentioned in the premium priced rooms, I feel it should be a point of pride to ensure guests are not looking through dirt? Lighting in the room was quite dim, which was an issue as I was working remotely from the room during the day. Tea/coffee area was a bit cramped considering how much space was available in the room.

Bottled water would be a nice touch. For the money that’s charged and I stay at a lot of hotels that provide more for less money. Otherwise very comfortable great breakfast and lovely staff.
