- Wen (6/5): - Location was the best! Room was too small. No elevator and stairs were very narrow. The stairs up to roof top for breakfast was even narrower. We won’t stay here again.

- Chloe (10/5): - Gorgeous place with great views. This is in one of the most walkable areas of the city, near everything! The breakfast was delicious and the room was so lovely, 10/10 recommend!
- Karl (6/5): No one on premises, no code via text, no elevator - It was well situated, very near the Acropolis, but there was no elevator, steps were narrow and old. We arrived with no code to get in and were on the street with our bags asking nearby shopkeepers if they had a phone contact for the owner.It took a while, but we got in. A/C worked well but bed had a well in it (probably ok for one person) and blankets were non existent. They only had a decorative open lace covering on the bed and sheets It which was made for a chilly night. We were out by 6am so we didn't sample breakfast. Located in the midst of things which is great, but its very noisy on the street at night. Apparently they sent a code by email at some point, but we couldn't access the email bc we needed to get into the room to access wifi. Cleaning/serving folks arrived in hall at 5am and were noisy which robbed us of the little sleep we got.

- Lian (6/5): - The woman who runs the house is very sweet, kind, and accommodating. She really just wants to help make your stay as good as possible. There’s another woman who is in charge of reception for select hours each day. She is also very kind and accommodating. There is no full time front desk staff so as long as you’re comfortable with that you won’t have any hiccups. It’s kind of like an Airbnb but with the host available to speak to in person daily during select hours. If you want a front desk staff in person to be able to talk to at all times then this is not the right place for you. Be aware there are two entrances so I would advise asking the front desk staff about this upon your booking. This will especially help you if you have a late check-in as they can inform you which outside door is your entrance. If you want to be at the heart of everything with easy access to shops/landmarks on foot and don’t mind the sound of bustling streets this place hits the mark. If you’re looking for something with more privacy and quietness both inside and outside of your accommodation this may not be what you’re looking for as it’s easy to hear conversations from both sides of the walls and outside noise is quite loud. (Not for light sleepers) It’s minutes away from the entrance to the Acropolis and easy walking distance to most meeting points for surrounding tours. If you want that kind of convenience this might be the place for you.

Angela exhibits exceptional courtesy and accommodating behavior, consistently maintaining a positive demeanor despite evident fatigue. She attends to our requirements promptly and with a cheerful disposition. Having made a prior booking, I had reviewed numerous positive reviews about her, and I wholeheartedly concur.

- David (10/5): - if you want a hotel directly in the Plaka and walking distance to all Athens attractions, this is the place. Is a small old-time European hotel. Every door has their own luck number. Some of the windows are even out to the street, but all quiet with the windows closed and the curtains drawn. they put out a beautiful breakfast every morning on the rooftop where you can overlook the Acropolis only issue we had was one of the air conditioning units was not working and no one seemed how to fix it, but that did not ruin our stay, thank you very much. We had a great stay at your property

Had a cool rooftop patio. 1 minute walk to acropolis ticket gate, 3 minute walk to Acropolis museum. In the heart of Plaka neighborhood and 15 minute walk to Monastiraki neighborhood. Only con is a lot of steep stairs.

The location, however, was spectacular. Breakfast was served up on a scorching hot rooftop with friendly service and poor food. The hard boiled eggs were cold, the vegetables old and soggy.

And while it’s loud and you can hear the noise at night. It didn’t destroy our ability to get some sleep. And things seemed to go quiet after 1am.

The room had everything we needed and was very comfortable - the couch pulled out into a bed for our 2 elementary school-aged kids. The staff were friendly and helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast on the rooftop was buffet style, with local, delicious food. The location was absolutely perfect for our week in Athens. This is located right in the heart of the city in the Plaka neighborhood, steps from the Acropolis. Don’t hesitate to stay at this gem!

- Catherine (6/5): - First, this property is right in the heart of Plaka and right outside the Acropolis. The location is great but the street noise can be loud. Let's be very clear, though: this is a 2-3 star property at best. We were only in Athens for two nights, so we made it work, but it's a very old and run-down property. The breakfast was lackluster, so we skipped it. The staff was lovely and kind, which was the property's best part. I'm not writing a beware review, but I am saying this is a 2-3 star property, so know what you are walking into in advance.

- Gary (10/5): Acropolis views - Perfect location with roof top breakfast area, but also access through the day and night to this area so excellent for taking night time photos of the Acropolis. Also bought a bottle of wine in local supermarket and had evening drinks there as well. Personnel were really friendly and accommodating and arranged a bottle of Prosecco on one morning for our wedding anniversary and a lovely chocolate birthday cake the next morning for my wife’s birthday. Rooms spacious, though missing shower door in our room caused the floor to get wet. Access to roof is via very steep spiral stairs so maybe not suitable for all people, but the view is so worth it. Location is perfect, with street entertainment outside adding to the whole ambience. Couldn’t recommend more.

Our apartment was spacious and lovely, and the breakfast on the terrace (with the Acropolis in full view) was terrific. The staff members were friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. The location cannot be beat. We look forward to returning!
- Jose (6/5): - This boutique hotel is located in a prime area, but it is not prepared for winter and guests with mobility issues. I moved in at the end of February for 3 days, when the weather is still cold. They have a rooftop for breakfast but no gas heater. I can have the breakfast in my room but the small table is broken. Additionally, they use a spiral staircase to access the roof. If you have trouble walking, you're in trouble. On the other hand, the staff is good.
- Zaidoon (10/5): Perfect - After the initial hiccup during the check in process, the rest of the stay was wonderful. Proximity to the metro is ideal (1 minute) and to the rest of places of interests, nightlife and restaurants makes this property a must visit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Illuminated Acropolis from Hotel Roof Top - Location is amazingly close to the Acropolis! Night views of the illuminated Acropolis from the Hotel roof top was very romantic and peaceful. There were even street musicians playing enchanting music on the well lit streets below. The staff provided breakfast on the roof top in the morning which was enjoyable and tasty with many selections available. Staff works above and beyond to give guests a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Valves on shower were loose, toilet inlet was broken so water was continuous refilling. There was a coffee machine in the room, but only two coffee pods where given for 3 night stay. Never topped up Also we booked through hotel.com and were supposed to get a free bottle of wine which was never provided, which was disappointing

- Sonia (10/5): Phenomenal rooftop view and location in Athens - You can't beat the rooftop view and location with this lovely boutique hotel. Eat your breakfast on the rooftop while looking at the Parthenon to start your day. The entry to the Acropolis is about 50 feet away and the A2 stop fir the Hop On Hop Off red bus is 1 block away. We also had supper at the Byron across the street with an Acropolis view to die for. Lots of restos and shops all literally outside the door. Rooms are small and no elevator in the building. Very narrow stairwell especially to the rooftop. Definitely not recommended for anyone with mobility issues.

- Alla (2/5): - The stay was good until at the very end the front desk lady offered to book a taxi for me and said it will be $45 euros and when I got to my destination (Rafina port) the taxi said that the lady told him to change me $60 euros which is why I have low score for this hotel. I don’t like dishonest service.
- Luis (10/5): The Best Boutique Hotel in Athens - This boutique hotel is probably the best on and the best location at Athens. Is across from the acropolis with a terrace with an impressive look of it. Also is so close to it that this is your front yard and all the stores and tourist attractions are a few feet away. Rooms are outstanding and the breakfast and service impressive. We are already planning to go back next year.

We had a two bedroom room in the rear building which had an open air patio. The included Breakfast was provided on the rooftop terrace. What a way to start our day! Manager Magda, was especially helpful prior to our stay, in reserving transport for us from the airport and to the cruise port. She was extremely pleasant and helpful! Kyria House is not a large, modern hotel chain but we loved how quaint it was. After all, those modern hotels do not greet you with limoncello and local candy in your room
- Daniella (10/5): Small but perfect placr - This hotel is quaint. The rooms are small but that is ok because thr location is wonderful and the rooftop breakfast is fantastic. If you arent able to take stairs this place isnt for you.
- Leuthold (10/5): excellent - We found our stay at Kyria Boutique House extremely nice. It's in a wonderful location and the staff is very helpful. Also, everything was clean and the breakfast on the rooftop was very good. I would definitely recommend Kyria to other travelers.
- AJ (10/5): - The only 2 things that are more of nuances, due to the age of the property and not negatives, are the room we stayed in was very small and there is no elevator but the property is only 3 stories so no big deal, just an FYI. Otherwise you can not beat the location, the staff is great and the property has be remodeled with good air conditioning.
- Jennifer (8/5): - The acropolis entrance is steps away from the hotel. It is central to many sights which made it convenient to stop back into our room for a break from the heat and to freshen up. Lot’s of restaurant choices and shopping. Room was nice, however there was a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom when we first arrived. I think it comes from the shower drain. Also, on the last day, the maid gave us wet towels (very damp) which were all folded and placed on the beds. They obviously had not been dried long enough. Not sanitary practice as towels need to be dried on high heat to kill germs/parasites like scabies. I used my beach towel I bought in Italy as it was late at night when we noticed the wet towels. Breakfast is up on the roof, standard fare, coffee was cold every morning.
- Kristen (8/5): Great location! - Really perfect location and adorable. A little tight but common for European rooms. Walls are thin and bed comfort could have been better. Right by Acropolis and great shopping street.
- Phillip (10/5): Great hotel in great location - Amazing view of the Acropolis from the rooftop terrace. Walking distance to all attractions in the center of Athens.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Love This Gem - Hate to see this place get popular, but I must commend how great this little place is and to manage expectations. First and foremost, what this property offers best is location. It really is in an amazing location for exploring historic Athens by foot. It is a guest house, so don't expect the services of a big hotel and yes, it's one flight up of stairs with no elevator. With that said, the rooms are well appointed and bathrooms in great condition. The rooftop breakfast is a lovely way to start the morning. If you want something that feels local with charm and comfort - this place is for you

- Aravind (10/5): - Very convenient to all the hotspots. Just remember that it’s an old house that has been unfitted and the lobby has people only during the day. Other than that, you can’t find a place so in the middle of everything.

- Gregory (10/5): - Kyria was a superb location on a pedestrian street - right next to the Acropolis with stunning views from the rooftop where breakfast was served. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Accommodations were small but with all the amenities needed for a stay in the heart of Plaka !! I would recommend Kyria for your Athens stay

(10/5): center of the old city - Beautiful property with comfortable suite with shared private courtyard for take away dining, located at the entrance of the acropolis in central Athens, old city. Easy walking distance from historic sites, restaurants and shopping. Just a block from the metro transit system. Morning hot breakfast on rooftop with view of the acropolis. Enjoyable visit from start to finish.
- Jesus Vicente Jr (10/5): - This was probably the best location to stay at if you wanted to see the interesting sights in Athens. The Acropolis back entrance was just a few feet away. My wife and kids loved the property!
- Scott (6/5): Great location - Great location and clean room. However, you have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs and very little English spoken. Breakfast was very good.
- John (10/5): - Magda and the rest of the staff were exemplary. You really couldn’t be closer to the Acropolis than our unique room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
- Roy (10/5): Perfect location - This is a fabulous location next-door to the Acropolis. The view from the terrace which is where breakfast is served is absolutely amazing. The rooms are very tiny, but adequate. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace with a wide selection and abundance of food. Just outside the door Are many restaurants and shops. Magda, who was the main person at the front desk went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and offered many tips.

- Armo (10/5): Kyria Boutique House Review - This hotel is literally located in the best spot. You can’t get a better location than this. The views from this hotel are also incredible (check for yourself below). As for the room and staff, rooms are very clean and modern and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommended!
- syed mohamad asif hayder (6/5): - The staff were lovely, but the hotel was filthy- not what I would expect from a 5 star. I actually don’t believe this is a 5 star hotel. Although the staff were lovely, the breakfast was substandard. One day there was even mould on the yoghurt being served. Also, the bread was left out for hours and so it was always stale
- Michael (10/5): Great place - Excellent location. Close to Subway, Plaka with in steps. Near all the major attractions. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Stairs are a bit steep, but overall, a nice, comfortable place to unwind after a full day of site seeing and shopping. When we return to Greece will plan on staying here again.

- Petar (10/5): - Kyria is the perfect location from which to explore all athens has to offer. Central and walkable to many of the attractions and very close to the tram. From here you can reach the entire city as well as the sea.
