Gayane (10/5): Relaxing place - Excellent facilities, very clean in a quiet area of the city. The city centre is reachable by taxis (300 to 400 drams or $1 US). It is also possible to walk to the city centre via small streets or another shortcut is the stares leading to the centre. A lovely staff ready to help with any requests. Highly recommended for a stay in Vanadzor. NA
Narek (9/5): Good value for the money - Great stay, great hotel, the staff was super helpful. It seemed to be renovated recently. The view is great, so is the fresh air on that loaction above city. The road to the hotel is simply terrible. It would be so great if that road was at least average. The breakfast was disappointing too. Most things were either gone and not refilled or they never were there to begin with
Laurenz (7/5): - Ruime kamers met goede bedden. Prachtig uitzicht op de stad, weliswaar niet vanaf onze kamer. De weg naar het hotel is niet zo gemakkelijk te vinden. Van buitenaf gezien zou je zeggen dat het verloederd is, maar binnenin is het wel OK.

LEVON (8/5): - We liked the room, the mattress was exceptional, the staff was very kind, it was very clean and there was always hot shower. Although we did arrive earlier, the kind staff from reception and bar offered us free coffee till the room was ready . The bathroom offered nice toiletries. The fridge was more of a cooler than a fridge. The balcony was super narrow and there was only one chair per too people. I think it needs to be mentioned that the view of the lakes( which was the initial reason of our booking in that hotel )concerns the more expensive and larger rooms and not the standard rooms, which we learned once we arrived at our booked standard room. Also the was too many restrictions mentioned in the information note delivered to each room.

Everything was very clean, new and fresh as if recently renovated. Rooms were pleasant and well equipped. Great restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Nice sunset views over the city from the hilltop. Professional staff. No a/c - can get hot at night. Opened the windows for fresh air but neighbour dogs were barking throughout the night. Real coffee (instead of instant coffee) for breakfast would have been good.

Craig (7/5): Nice hotel inside, not so much outside. Food is only ok. - The hotel is new inside, and has some great views from some panoramic windows. The receptionist was nice and she speaks English. The room was warm during the winter time. It was also clean and comfortable! They also provided a free breakfast. The hotel looks very old and beaten up from outside - I wasn't sure I was at the right place, as the road approaching the hotel is terrible and the neighbourhood is quite poor. The food is very average to poor. The bar manager was surly. I was initially given a room with banging and whistling pipes (due to the water apparently!); I was then given a room that smelled badly of smoke; the third room was ok!

Tania (8/5): Nice room let by the staff. - The room was modern, comfortable and clean. Large screen TV with some English channels. Good view from the 4th floor across the town. The little white dog at the door was a cutie. The check in experience was poor because there was no material, information or any advice on local places of interest. The staff were very robotic. Breakfast was average- instant coffee, no fruit juice, mostly cold food and a crowded room.

Deljoo (7/5): Good - very clean, comfy, good for the price, beautiful walking area downstairs, good breakfast, helpful staff 4th floor rooms are very good actually but 3rd floor ones are different . the double bed is very small ,there is no kettle, no plates or cups were in the room but after asking for them they immediately brought us. there was a huge group of loud people in 3rd floor’s lobby for a long time until at around 11pm or more which didn’t allow us to sleep i called the reception two times and it took a while. the restaurant’s vegetarian menu was very poor so i really didn’t enjoy it. there was smell of cigarette in 3rd floor lobby

The room was clean, comfortable, has all the amenities. The cleanliness of the room itself was very good. A lot of spiders on the balcony railings. Was hot at night, we did open the window and still were not able to sleep because of the dog’s barking(not the hotel’s problem) Staff was nice, but they definitely needs some training for an eye contact, guest acknowledgment, welcoming to the property. Check in was robotic, just information has been given together with fines paper, and that’s it, no additional questions were asked to make guests feel more welcomed. No comment about check out))))) guest was not their priority. They were attached to the computers, heads down, again no eye contact, we even asked to leave the luggage, they said: yes you can leave, and that’s it, so we took the luggage with us)) no smiling welcoming faces.

Sergei (10/5): Great views and amazing sleeping experience, nice people and friendly staff - I had a short vacation trip with my wife and kids. We booked a big family room on the 4th floor. As far as I understood all big rooms are on the top, 4th floor. Kirovakan It's a newly renovated hotel, with spectacular views from the rooms, friendly staff, and a good location. The hotel is on the hill, so you get a panoramic mountain/city view of the valley. The hostess was so kind and arranged for us (4 people total) a transfer from Yerevan at a good price. The Driver, Gamlet, told a lot of stories and gave us some useful local tips. He even invites us to visit church service with his family (it was Easter), but unfortunately, we had to opt out, as we were tired from the long road. So, generally, nothing to complain about, friendly staff, good people, amazing nature, and quality food. If we somehow get back to Vanadzor, we'll definitely stay in the hotel again. PS. The mattress was very good. I slept like a log nothing, all was good. I wish we could stay a bit longer
