- Julian (9/5): Una estancia perfecta - La ubicación es inmejorable, las camas súper cómodas y teniendo en cuenta la ubicación las habitaciones son muy silenciosas. El personal es muy amable y atento, la chica que nos atendió el 15 de mayo de madrugada, cuando llegamos tarde por el retraso de nuestro vuelo, fue un encanto! Si volvemos a nueva York nos alojaremos de nuevo, sin duda.

- Irina (3/5): Find an another hotel that it is centrally located - The property was centrally located in Manhattan. The bed was comfortable. The staff of the property especially at the check in it was very cold and not welcoming. In addition, the employee that took our luggage when we checked out made awful comments on how we feel and if I have beautiful eyes. Really awkward behavior from a person at his age. The hotel is very noisy especially in the mornings where cleaning personnel are slamming the doors next to our room. I would not recommend this place.

- Alessandro (2/5): Esperienza surreale - La stanza che avevo effettivamente prenotato e che mi è stata consegnata solo dalla seconda notte in poi rispettava le aspettative: unica nota positiva. Arrivato in struttura senza dirmi niente i personale mi fa effettuare il check in e mi consegna le chiavi della stanza. Salito in camera noto che la camera che mi hanno dato era totalmente diversa da quella prenotata (moquette per terra anziché parquet, stanza molto più piccola, bagno con vasca anziché doccia walk-in, una tenda ingiallita tenuta con una spilla, una roba da film horror). Corso a lamentarmi la receptionist mi comunica che la stanza da me prenotata non era disponibile e che (se disponibile) me l’avrebbero data il giorno dopo. Ovviamente da soggetto allergico la moquette mi ha causato una reazione allergica che mi ha rovinato la seconda giornata dall’arrivo. Unica nota positiva è che dalla seconda sera mi hanno cambiato stanza dandomi quella che avevo prenotato che si è rivelata congrua con le aspettative, tuttavia la struttura mi ha rifiutato anche il rimborso della prima notte: vergognoso! Secondo loro avrei dovuto pagare per una notte in una stanza diversa da quella prenotata lo stesso prezzo di una stanza di livello superiore.

- Naa Dodua (9/5): Good for business in the UN - Great location for access to the UN headquarters. The rooms are pretty basic, but clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

- Margarita (10/5): - This hotel is one of the best that you could find in Manhattan. Value for money couldn’t be any better and the rooms are very comfortable, clean and quiet. The location is ideal, the area is very peaceful and at the same time very central, only 15 mins walk to Central Station. It is near the main embassies which naturally makes the area safe and pleasant to walk around. I travelled with my mom and we came back absolutely delighted with our stay.

- Brian (5/5): Decent, comfortable hotel, but terrible staff interaction(s) - Clean and well located. On my first night after a long transatlantic flight, and with a full day of meetings to rest up for the following day - I had a very bad experience during the night. Maintenance staff range my room phone at 3:30am to say there was a fault with the fire alarm in my room on their maintenance panel (there was nothing wrong in the room) and that they would have to send someone up. I got up and dressed and waited but nobody came. After a wait time of 15-20 minutes i called front desk who was unaware but asked her supervisor who said that the matter had been resolved and that they "tried to contact me" (they didn't!!). I couldn't get back to sleep so it ruined by night's rest and impacted my work day following. When i brough this up to front desk they were very unhelpful, in fact rude. I tried to explain that the only reason I book a hotel any trip to New York is not for the bar, lobby or atmosphere, but purely for a comfortable night sleep which they had very much ruined for me.

- Adrià (10/5): Amazing location and great staff! - The location is amazing, close to Bryant Park and within walking distance of most places. The staff was great, super attentive and very helpful with anything we needed.
- Olivier Pierre (4/5): Confort au rendez-vous, mais une expérience globale décevante - La 2e chambre dans laquelle nous avons séjourné correspondait aux photos. L’hôtel est bien placé. Nous avons séjourné 9 nuits au Westgate hôtel. Au départ, malgré une réservation bien en avance pour une chambre "Luxe Queen", l'hôtel a tenté de nous loger dans la chambre 213, une honte pour un établissement 4 étoiles et une des pires chambres de l’hôtel. Nous n’avons clairement pas été respectés : la chambre n’avait rien n’a voir avec les photos, les toilettes étaient tachées de jaune, la fenêtre donnait sur un échafaudage, nous entendions le bruit des travaux à n’importe quelle heure (journée, nuit), pas de machine à café, peu d’équipement contrairement à ce qui était annoncé. L’hôtel a prétendu "ne pas être au courant" des travaux pourtant dans la rue de l’hôtel… Après demande auprès du manager qui nous a d’abord proposé de patienter une nuit de + (car tout était sold out & malgré une réservation bien en avance) nous avons pu obtenir la chambre pour laquelle nous avions payé le soir de la demande : une chambre propre et digne d'un 4 étoiles est apparue au 13e étage. Cela dit, il y a eu énormément de bruit : la climatisation qui s’active n’importe quand, le bruit de l’ascenseur avant qu’il ne tombe en panne et la porte qui claque sans arrêt.

- David (9/5): Near perfect. - The hotel is in a great place, a short walk to central station. Not too far from all the main Manhattan attractions. We had a King room and it was very spacious and nice. The bed was really comfortable. We had one issue which the staff sorted immediately for us, they were very helpful indeed. The only issue we had was that our original room had an adjoining door, which we could hear our neighbours through. The staff were accommodating and moved us to another room.

Clean and quite comfortable bed, even tho we unfortunately got a folding bed instead of what we booked; a normal bed. Great black out curtains and good room. Great that we got water every day for free. Easy check in/out. In general good housekeeping every day. Nice with free coffee in the room also! We would return! The bathtub drain was blocked & shower was very week. Only one elevator was working during our 5 night stay, and sometimes we even had to walk up 8 floors due to elevator broken late at night. No staff offered any compensation or help. Very very easy to hear neighbours, but I guess its standard in old budlings. Also, the man that collected our bags during checkout was very rude when we stated we did not want to book a taxi via him to the airport. Very strange treatment and attitude. Housekeeping missed to dust off floor and furniture's, and everything that touched the floor got dusty/dirty.

- Krystyna (2/5): Terrible - Not much The room was extremely disappointing. The AC was unbearably loud, making it impossible to relax or sleep properly. The room had no view at all and felt dark and claustrophobic — more like a basement than a hotel room. There was no warning about any of this before payment, which felt very misleading. Basic amenities were also missing: there was no electric kettle, and the coffee machine was broken. To make matters worse, the alarm clock in the room went off at 6 a.m., completely disrupting our sleep. Overall, the stay was far below expectations and very uncomfortable.
- Hansoylu (8/5): Heerlijk lang weekend in NY gehad! - De locatie is echt fijn. Dichtbij Grand Central en je kan veel te voet doen vanaf het hotel. De ontbijtmogelijkheden in het hotel zijn beperkt, in de straat zitten wel verschillende winkeltjes. Je hoort wel wat geluid van de weg en de lift.

Being initially given a very tiny poor room with little light & a poor dirty view, room 314. Had to complain to get given a room looking like those shown on booking.com site, room 705, and the one we had actually booked & paid for. Some staff seemed quite indifferent to requests.

- Carol (9/5): All in all we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the large room, comfortable bed, and quiet environment. - We liked the staff- all were kind and helpful, especially, the Doormen who carried our bags up the steps in the entrance to the beautiful lobby. The bed was very comfortable, housekeeping was impeccable, the wood floors were wonderful, and it was quiet and relaxing. The only thing that we can think of that we thought could be better was to increase the counter space in the bathroom around the sink.

- Alexandra (8/5): New York, New York - Very spacious room and bathroom. Great location. Nothing troubled us and we loved the vintage atmosphere of the area and the building. When we asked for a water heater, it was delivered to our room in no time! It was a little bit expensive for what it offered, but maybe that's New York in general!
- Nikki (10/5): Pleasant and easy stay in NYC - Rooms had everything you could want. It’s was walking distance from many primary areas you might want to visit. The free taxi from the airport was a game changer.
- Sabrina (10/5): one of the best hotels ive stayed at in NY - i dont leave reviews. this hotel was incredible. from the moment we arrived we had 2 gentlemen help us with our bags, then it was rainy one night and another gentlemen walked me to my car with an umbrella. room was amazing and the beds? 11/10 nothing at all
