- Paul (10/5): - We were 3 people and they upgraded us to a 4th floor suite on arrival - pleasant, spacious lounge with 1 large bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Very comfortable with all the amenities.Big terrace with table and chairs overlooking the Marmaris Sea.Amazing sunsets. The service could not have been better. Everyone was friendly and incredibly helpful. Airport transfers also very efficient. The location could not have been bettered, just a few minutes walk from the many important historical sites of the Sultanahmet district. about a 100 metre walk to a metro stop which is a very efficient tap in/tap out system. I would stay here again without considering anywhere else. Istanbul itself was very impressive with lots to see and do. I have to confess much cleaner than I expected. The weather was great and we had a fabulous stay including a really high standard of food.

- Nicole (10/5): - This was a lovely little hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet- was easy to walk most everywhere we needed to go. The staff was very kind and the room was great. The beds were comfy and the shower had great water pressure and got nice and hot. The A/C in the room was only okay, it was set at 18C but we both felt it got no cooler than about 22 or 23C, and it was hot days there. The breakfast buffet was big and had some good variety. Speaking again on the loveliness of the staff, it was my birthday while we were there and one day when we came back from touring around they surprised me with a nice fruit plate and well wishes for my birthday. It was very sweet. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

- Zarina (10/5): - We stayed at this hotel with our family for 3 nights, and we enjoyed everything. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with advice. They offer airport transfers both to and from the hotel. The rooms were very clean, everything was new, and housekeeping was done daily. We didn’t take breakfasts as there are plenty of different places to eat nearby. But the main advantage is the hotel’s location — everything is just a few steps away from all the city’s main attractions. The Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar, and Hagia Sophia are all within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

They helped me get a taxi, personally carted my luggage around, and shook my hand leaving. I could tell they appreciated my business. (2) staff spoke very good English (3) location great near major sites on a cute street. Lots of cool cafes and restaurants around while still being a quiet area (some parts of Istanbul can be chaotic and loud). (4) room very modern and clean. I would definitely stay again if I’m back in Istanbul.

They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet was terrific with a wonderful variety of Turkish and Western items. I was very surprised, I expected it to be comfortable but older. Location is perfect for what we had planned, close to all the touristy places but quiet. It doesn’t have amenities as such but the city is full of attractions. Breakfast was great, all sorts of delicious local treats. I will return.
- Alev an (10/5): Great service!! - We stayed at Four-G Hotel during our weekend in Istanbul and were incredibly pleased with our experience. The staff in the lobby were very friendly and service-minded, always helpful with recommendations and arranging taxis and restaurant reservations. The hotel was also super fresh and well-maintained. The included breakfast was excellent, and we will definitely stay at this hotel again if we return to Istanbul. Its location is very close to most of the major attractions.

Walking distance to Tram 1 Cemberlitas stop that brings you to Eminonu (Spice market - make sure to visit HazerBaba for Turkish delight, Galata Bridge, ferries) and last stop Kabatas station (walking distance toTaksim Square, Dolmabahce Palace). Many food options nearby and convenient Show Grocery store, pharmacy 3 minutes walking distance. Make sure to visit Hafız Mustafa on1864 Sirkeci for high quality Baklava and pastries (5-10 minute walk). Staff super friendly and helpful. Four G Hotel map very useful - shows places to visit and tram/subway stops. Take Tram/subway - avoid traffic, taxi scamming. Rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast very good but not included. Manager, however, gave us free breakfast on last day which was very nice. Otherwise, many coffee shops nearby with good pastries/breakfast options. Call to prayer from nearby mosques will wake you up at 6 am but this cannot be avoided where ever you are staying. Front desk very helpful if you need any arrangements. Room cleaning crew very efficient and accomodating for any requests (such as extra water bottles for free).

The housekeeping service was top class with clean towels and water every day. Breakfast was extremely good and the staff were so pleasant and helpful. - Tasha (10/5): Wonderful staff and location - The hotel is conveniently located near all the major sites and public transportation. We really loved our stay there especially because of the helpful, friendly and kindhearted staff. They also offer airport transfers which made it really easy to get there and back to airport. Definitely recommend for a comfortable and great stay!

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with varied options that catered to every taste, making it a perfect way to start the day. The location is ideal, within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. Although we had an issue with the air conditioning at first, it was quickly resolved by the attentive staff. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, excellent service, and prime location!

It’s central Location close proximity to the major landmarks in Sultanahmet area however it’s located on very busy and congested street with no parking. Breakfast was good but same variety in my 4 days of stay. They need to work on including better dishes in their breakfast. But staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was ok, but not much to eat in regard's to hot food. But you could find something.
- William (10/5): - This boutique hotel is wonderful. It’s centrally located to all the sites. A sort walk to the tram which is fairly easy to navigate. Great restaurants close by and a great coffee shop just down the street that we went to every day. The room we had was a little small but it worked great for the two of us. The bathroom was clean and the shower pressure was incredible. What set this place apart for us was the incredible staff. Jelal and the rest of the staff were warm and helpful and offered us Turkish coffee and tea daily. We felt welcomed and appreciated. I highly recommend the four-G hotel.

- JOHN (10/5): - Stayed for 5 nights. Lovely modern hotel , excellent location close to a couple of stops on the T1 tram line and walking distance to major sights. Spacious Room (#401) on top floor with balcony , tea and coffee facilities, safe, fridge , cooler and king sized bed r. good sized bathroom with powerful waterfall shower. Good Air con unit in room. TV had lots of channels but few english speaking channels. Breakfast – reasonable choice , items that I had were of good guality Staff very friendly and helpful Would happily stay again.

Mr Kadir helped our group organize everything even before we arrived to make it a smooth experience. The breakfast was good and the hotel is very well located, close to the main touristic attractions.

- Pragya (8/5): - Excellent staff and location. Breakfast was amazing with a lot of varieties and smiling staff- the best breakfast we have ever had. Shower was amazing, very clean room. Daily housekeeping and received water bottles every day. Soft closing wardrobe and bathroom doors would have been better. Also mirror positioning was not the best due to light falling on the mirrors. Sea view was not great- sea is quite far and there are some very old houses in between affecting the view. Will recommend the hotel though room with sea view is not worth the extra money.

We got upgraded to a bigger room. Jelal was very friendly warm and welcoming. He attended to all our needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would book again.

- Peter (10/5): - Location was the best in the city for a first time visitor. It rained the full week we were there but Calel at the front desk always had hot tea waiting for us in the lobby. It's a small hotel, about 2 years old, and not as many amenities, which suited us. The breakfast was excellent and the attending ladies were very professional. It was included in our room price and worth it. We had some confusion at the end calling a cab - make sure you specify you want a metered yellow cab, if in fact, that's what you want. All good in the end.
