Leider war das Apartment schon relativ abgewohnt, dabei hat es durchaus Potential und war mit Sicherheit vor einiger Zeit noch top. Kaputte Sachen, insbesondere im Bad, müssten aber eben mal ausgetauscht werden. Auch das Sofa war nicht mehr so einladend. Unser Apartment (Wasser) war zur Straße raus, das war relativ laut, aber bei geschlossenen Fenstern ok.

• John Paul (9/5): Perfectly Situated Micro Apartment - We stayed for the second time at the end of our vacation with the very friendly host Harris, this time at the Red or Fire Loft. This Loft is also compact yet feels spacious being slightly larger than the Water Loft and again, it is open plan and well suited for a couple sharing. The location and neighbourhood, as mentioned in the previous review, is really great and can definitely recommend :) Although it was nice to have some out door space, I was surprised that the terrace was covered over with an awning which seemed like it was not possible to open...it would have been nice to have the option of opening it up rather than being so enclosed, especially as the neighbouring loft has their terrace directly adjacent. It wasn't that appealing to us to sit out there but for a smoker it would be good I guess. There wasn't any cutlery in the Kitchenette in this Loft for some reason.
• John Paul (9/5): Perfectly situated Micro Apartment - The apartment building is in a great location at the quieter West end of Ermou street just next to Thiseio metro station. Monasteriki metro station (with a direct airport connection) is also just a few minutes walk - as is the Ancient Agora and Acropolis (12-15mins) making it very easy to explore on foot. The surrounding neighbourhood and side streets also offer many great cafe / bar / restaurant options. The Water Loft apartment itself is compact yet feels spacious with its high ceilings and with the open plan it is well suited for a couple sharing. Our flight was unfortunately delayed so we needed to reschedule our check in but the host was very understanding about it and kindly took the time to come meet us once we finally arrived to let us in - thanks again Harris :)
• Amy (10/5): - We loved this place! It’s great if you’re looking to be in the city but also not right downtown. It was busy and bustling during the day (and great people watching from the balcony). We were able to walk to the acropolis as well as unlimited amount of shopping/bars/restaurants. We had a brief issue with our shower head and George was quick to fix it so it wasn’t a problem. George was also very responsive and helpful overall.

Sono stati estremamente cortesi e disponibili, avevamo nesessità di lasciare i bagagli per tutto il giorno, e non vi è stato alcun problema. nulla, forse non andava la macchina del caffè, ma non è stato un grande problema avendo risolto con un caffe americano. Se avessi chiamato mi avrebbe sicuramente risolto il problema

Está cerca de las principales visitas y zona de restaurantes El ruido es muy molesto para poder dormir tanto el de la calle, como el de las otras habitaciones. La puerta de acceso le falta aceite y chirría cada vez que se abre por alguna persona. Tenía roto el lavabo del baño, perdía agua. Y el menaje de la cocina era insuficiente.

• Siobhan (4/5): Disappointing - One feels a bit conned by this apartment. Its pictures are perfect on the booking.com site, but the reality disappoints quickly. The balcony is completely covered by a wall of plastic grass which means the apartment has no window. The couch is extremely uncomfortable, and there is no place else to sit apart from stools. The toilet seat has suffered a lot of water damage. They are cheap - just replace it! There is no sharp knife to cut bread. Not enough utensils. No bowls, no side plates. Only one access card given to us even though 2 people staying. I feel there is no point even writing this review as it's a lazy business set up running it who just wants to take the money without making any effort. Being in the centre of Athens, they will still get so many tourists coming through. I purposely put my comments in the "what you liked" section as that's what appears when booking on the app. What I noted here has already been said by other guests (which I saw after my stay), but nothing was done about it - lazy, cheap management! The bed was comfortable

• Joanne (5/5): There are better apartments available in the same area for less money & cleaner. - Location is great - quiet & safe area, despite it being on Ermou & easy to walk everywhere from here. The space in the apartment is great - high ceilings and enough space for the three of us. Clean beds. For the price you pay, a hygeinic toilet seat would be a basic expectation - it was all broken (it had holes in it and the wooden fibres were exposed - perfect for harbouring bacteria). The shower was not very clean & you cannot close the shower door properly meaning that the whole bathroom gets wet whenever someone showers. There was an opened bottle of wine left in the fridge when we arrived, perhaps indicating that the fridge hadn't been cleaned out since the previous guests. The second bed (a sofa bed) was not comfortable to sleep on, and there wasn't a proper sheet on the bed. Also, only three pillows were provided for the three of us. Also the TV only has YouTube on it - the actual TV did not work.

Special shoutout to Giorgos (George). He helped us with our requests and went above and beyond. Thanks George!
• Claire (2/5): False advertisement! - Location was great. This property did not match its description or photos. The TV’s didn’t work. The kitchen was not fully equipped, there was no cooking utensils or plates. The bathroom was not clean, the disabled shower chair was black with mould and we found a vape left from a previous guest behind the toilet. The toilet seat and sink tap were both loose and needed replacing. We were unable to make use of the interior courtyard as it was inhabited by flies & looked like it had not been maintained for a very long time. This is probably why the accommodation had a really strong smell of smoke, as none would want to sit out there. The communication with the host was appalling. We highlighted several issues on our arrival and some of those still hadn’t been rectified by the time we checked out. We were left for over 4 hours when we first arrived to wait for someone to come and reset the safe, despite us initially being told 10 then 30 minutes till someone could come out. Lots of our phone calls and messages were simply ignored. This property is certainly not value for money & we wouldn’t recommend it.

Met by George who couldnt have been nicer or more helpful, the apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable and location wise just excellent! Highly recommend. The area is great, quite bohemian, tons of shops restaurants bars etc and a comfortable walk to get up to the Acropolis etc. We came for the Greece v Scotland game and the metro took ua straight to the stadium. Magic. So magic that we're coming back in Nov for the WC Qualifier and not a second thought given, delighted to book again. Recommend!!! Can't think of a single thing. Honestly.

The apartment is very comfortable, with comfy beds and couch. It also had a small yard, which was a good addition- especially for smokers. Adequate size of bathroomnsnd plenty of hot water at all times. We knew about the stairs inside the apartment but there were iron-made stairs outside in the entrance. For people with movement-walking difficulties this might be a problem.

As for the apartment…I could not fathom leaving only 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel. No towels or paper towels for the kitchen, no extra set of sheets (but an extra pillow)? The description on hotels.com said there’s was toiletries. Well there wasn’t. Just a random body wash. There was no hand soap or shampoo or conditioner. Had to wash my hands with body wash. Also no outlet in the bathroom, had to do my hair in the living room. The curtains were hanging half broken on one end, and a mystery puddle of water by the window emerged sometime during the night. The living room TV also kept going in and out, antenna issue? Pretty annoying. I’m writing this mostly for the owner so he can improve the basic necessities an apt/hotel should have. At the very least extra towels and toiletries.

The room was very spacious and easily accommodated three of us, air conditioning worked perfectly, nice amenities, and it was very quiet despite being in a very central, popular location. I may be mistaken but I believe the bathroom didn't have a lock, but really not a big deal and definitely not a reason not to stay here!

We had everything we needed and more. Plenty of TP and towels also lovely little kitchenette. The porch was dark but we realized there was a crank open awning which brought light in when opened. The stairs to the apt are challenging if you have problems with stairs. It was a big challenge for grandma and also up and down with stroller and baby.

• Marlene (9/5): Excellent stay! - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ether Loft Suites. We only had one nights' stay. The suite is ideal for longer stays with great facilities. If we needed to stay longer, this would have been a great option. We were well informed of how to reach the property and were met with a very friendly host representative. The location was excellent - close to the heart of everything to explore the vibrant city of Athens.

We stayed for 4 nights, when we tried to contact the host he did not answer us, and we had to wait two days for more toilet paper and new towels. There is no one to turn to if there is a problem. Very unpleasant service
• Jessica (10/5): I'll recommend this to anyone! - The owner was incredible, very helpful, and very accommodating and willing to go above and beyond. The rooms were so cute and so comfortable, and the location was amazing! The rooms were sold as four person rooms and it was clear on the booking this meant two people on the futon. We were all in all very comfortable, but the futons were a bit hard and we could have used extra pillows! However, we didn't ask for them and based on other interactions, I assume George would have provided anything we asked for.

• Margaret (9/5): Great location a fwe paces from very safe metro station - location, comfort, ease of checking in, cleanliness, good price we booked because there were two beds however there was no linen for downstairs sofa bed. At least no sheet, so we took the top sheet off other bed to use. Did find a duvet and pillow in closet.
• Steve (4/5): Disappointing - Good shower and internal space. Aris was very friendly. If you're going to be out partying every night then a good location and apartment. Just don't expect to sleep before 3am if you're staying in. Photographs that portrayed the real view and facilities were not realistic. The inner courtyard was a service stairwell over the bins and full of extraction ductwork. The view was non existent and we had to keep the shutters closed to keep the noise out. We booked this last minute in a hurry and didn't get a chance to read the reviews but it's a travesty to think that you can comfortably stay in the Ignis apartment with the incessant nightclub (behind the apartment) noise until 3am/4am each night - all three nights we were there. Additionally, we couldn't use the outside terrace due to the smell and noise of the extraction.

• Soodabeh (4/5): - Boendet var ren och nära till alla sightseeing. Jag ger boendet 2 star för lokalen och renlighet. Jag hade meddelat ankomsts tiden kl 16:30. Men ingen var där, det var stängd och märkt. Taxichauffören hjälpte mig att ringa till Boendet, sedan kom en och öppnade dören. Det hade regnat in i rummet och hela golvet var täckt med vaten.

• Giuliana (9/5): Excellent suite, excellent location, very nice staff. - The room/suite was lovely, even better than in the booking pictures. The location was also excellent, only 6 min walking distance from the metro which also connects to the port, so whatever you are arriving from the islands, or getting there is a very good pit-stop along the way. The place was sound proofed, but nevertheless you could still hear cars and people passing by during the night. So i can only imagine the noise during the day, only bad point.

• T.a10 (7/5): Good - Location was great! Bottle of wine was a nice touch, Thank you! Well appointed. Clean. Loved the little courtyard. The host was very friendly and check in was a breeze. There discount offered at the bar downstairs was great too and we would have gone more but for the opening times (it was closed during most of our stay). The service is great and the food ridiculously good too! Noise from nearby club until 2am every morning. Super loud. External door latch was broken meaning it couldn't be closed properly to lessen the noise (though so loud the difference would have been minor). I would say this is the only downside - and it is significant, of an otherwise perfect stay.
