• Heather (6/5): - There were some inconsistencies in what the website said and reality. The website said there was computer availability for guest use, reception said there was none. The website says the airport taxi ride from hotel was 18€ per person for 2 people but I was quoted 65€ from reception. Housekeeping did not provide replacement toilet paper when we were out during daily cleaning and short sheeted our bed. In spite of these inconsistencies the location was near metro, Montmartre and so many activities. There were always croissants in the lounge and there was someone at reception 24/7.

• Kris (6/5): - The area was very convenient for taking the metro and there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. However, most of the amenities were unusable. The safe had no lock, the hair dryer didn’t turn on and the outlet for the mini fridge was hanging out of the wall. The room was mostly clean but there was quite a lot of mold in the shower. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful and most spoke English.
• Yan-Maurice (8/5): - What you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Staff is excellent. My room was missing a safe even though it was mentioned it had one. A bit of mold in the very small claustrophobic shower like most older buildings have. AC didn’t go lower than 19C which for me was inconvenient.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great little hotel, I will definitely return. - My room was very comfortable and had everything I needed without being too cramped, as a single room. I really appreciated the mini fridge and the air-con, given the heat wave during my stay. The room was really well cleaned every day and the free toiletries provided, including shower gel/shampoo, body lotion, shower cap, mini sewing kit, were replenished and useful (I wish I had known in advance about them as I could have brought less with me. I could hear a little noise from other guests in the evening returning to their rooms, but it was minimal and wasn't late so not a problem. The breakfast was absolutely lovely and a great selection given the hotel is small. However, I loved the amazing, fresh, still-warm baguette so much that I ate it with butter and jam every morning! I also loved the fresh croissants and both were great quality. Loved them so much I didn't even try any of the other great selection of cheese, pancakes, cereals, hot foods etc which also looked really tasty. The breakfast was perfect for me with decent coffee and OJ, absolutely looked forward to it each morning. The staff were all lovely, happy to help when needed and as a woman travelling alone I felt completely safe and at ease during my stay here. For a mid range hotel I thought it was as good as you could possibly expect - I was sad to have to leave to come home, and wouldn't hesitate to return here again, hopefully sometime soon. Thank you to the stay, I had a great stay.

• Catherine (10/5): - Such a gentle and friendly hotel. We had a genuinely warm welcome from the gentleman on reception and he was really accommodating when one of my two teenagers needed a slight change in process. It’s in a great area away from the hussle and bustle but really easy to get to central Paris with Metro stops close by. There’s an amazing vegan coffee shop (Cloud Cakes) just down the road - with a dairy allergy in the family, that was an unexpected bonus! We enjoyed the amble over to Sacré-Cœur and just found the whole area really pleasant and relaxed :)
• Jorge (6/5): - The check-in and check-out process were very good. If you arrive before the check-in time, there is a lock room where you could leave your luggage and walk around. The neighborhood around the hotel was excellent and you could feel safe. But, the visitors should know that the location of the hotel is far away from the main tourists places like: Efiel Tower, Lourve museum, Notradame church, and many others in that área. On the other hand, the hotel is close to the Sacred Heart church (Montmartre área) and Moulin Rouge Theater. The size of the room for 3 persons is good and the size of the shower is appropiate. However, there is not much space for the 3 guest to accommodate their belongings. The toilet is very close to the wall, so after you sit on it, your knees may touch the wall. There is a small refrigerator for some Coke cans or water bottles. Some problems with the room: 1) the shower was not clean and you could see a lot of mold in the walls (other than this, the room was clean), 2) the A/C was set to a temperature and you could not lower it more even when is hot outside, 3) the remote for the TV was not available and when I ask in the front desk about it they gave me an Universal control that did not work. Then the staff in the front desk told me that he could not do anything else, so we ended with a TV with no remote control. Finally, at least in our room, only one hook was available for a towel to be close to the shower.
• Dalia (2/5): - Room was in a really bad shape- black mold in the shower which was very small that I pumped in the door getting in and out! I asked for the room not to be entered and they noted this down but the ignored this instruction! There is no don’t disturb sign and I left the key in the door so the red light stays on ( I was told none will enter the room if the light is on) but it didn’t mater!
• alex (8/5): - Great location, easy to find the metro/bus. Plenty of areas to eat. Rooms are small but only needed to sleep
• Nick (2/5): - Air conditioner was broke in our room. Concierge told us they would find someone to fix it but the problem persisted. It was 25 degrees + in our room each day and when I went to ask again on their response was to “open a window”, when we are on a loud busy street. They could not move us to another room or even provide a fan. This property is advertised as “includes air conditioning”. Disappointed and wouldn’t return, although the neighbourhood was cool.

Love all.of rhe cafes ..The rooms are small it was three of us sharing the room. But i would stay hete again. Transportation is great walking distance to Metro. It took us a few dsys to get use to it but it great to used during the day.. Subway are very clean. .

• John (4/5): - **Pros:** The hotel is in a great location, with shopping areas within walking distance and plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. **Cons:** The pictures of the lobby and rooms do not accurately represent their current state and could use an update. The shower was quite small, measuring only 4x4 feet, which meant you had to be prepared to get wet. Additionally, there was no place to put soap or other toiletries. The bathroom was adequate, but it only had a knob for towels and no toilet paper holder. The lighting around the mirror was insufficient, as the bulbs needed replacing, making it difficult to see clearly while shaving. I prefer to sleep in during vacations, but the cleaning staff starts early, and the room lacked a "Do Not Disturb" sign. In lieu of that, I stuck a large Post-it note on the door in French, which worked. Next time, I would be willing to pay a bit more for better accommodations.

The only “fault” I had was that the shower stall was extremely small but the water pressure was amazing and I was thankful for the hot water, as well. Amazing view from my room and comfortable bed. The linens were clean and the staff were efficient and kind.

The bathroom is very small and the shower stall is ridiculously small, 2 1/2 feet x 2 1/2 feet which I barely fitted in. Once inside I had to use my foot or my butt to keep the glass door closed to keep water from getting outside.

The room was very outdated, and the beds were incredibly hard and uncomfortable. The air conditioning didn’t work at all, and the room was uncomfortably hot the entire time. Overall, the stay was not what we expected, and we wouldn’t book here again.

The standard room is promoted to have a balcony, but this was not true (a mistake in the app), which is unfair, and the underground is heard.
• Nia (2/5): Subpar hotel, not what we paid for - The room was nowhere near what we expected, we had two single beds even though we asked for a double and there were holes in the quilt covers. The bedroom door did not lock and we felt extremely unsafe and had to put a chair under the door. The room smelt of sewers, there was no lock on the bathroom door and the shower did not have a door therefore the tiny bathroom was flooded if we used the shower. The staff at reception were rude and laughed at us when asked any questions. The only positive about this hotel was the location. Would not stay again and would not recommend! Would not listen to any of our complaints at all.

The staff is welcoming , the location is great , just far enough from the noisy clubs , but closed enough to come back walking after a rough night out. Just one negative point …the shower in my room is super tiny, i am 5,10 200lbs and can barely turn around in the shower or close the shower door …anyone overweight wont fit in …no bathtub
• Verified traveler (4/5): - We chose to stay here as the pictures made it look quite nice so decided to spend a bit more money for a nice room. The location was ideal fornhs but the rooms are nothing like the pictures. They were absolutely tiny just about enough room for the beds to fit in. I wouldn't say the rooms were the cleanest as there were food crumbs on the floor when we arrived. The hotel as a whole just felt a bit run down. The bathroom was vile. It just felt dirty and there was black mold in the shower on the walls and on the floor and the shower was tiny. Not ideal when travelling with my pregnant sister. Very much doubt I would consider staying here again.

Hard to get around hotel with luggage as Hallways only big enough for one person. I did like that you can only get into hotel with key and there is someone at front desk to let you in when you arrive. They have room to site luggage if you need to store luggage on your last day after you check out
• Michelle (10/5): Perfect for 2 nights away on the Eurostar to Paris - We wanted a hotel a short walk from the Eurostar and with a station close by for getting around. So this hotel is perfect for that. Staff were so helpful and warm. Would have love a proper hairdryer than the wall mounted one. Lots a great restaurants on the doorstep. Breakfast was lovely.

Soap, shampoo are not the best The night shift person, Kamel is such a wonderful person and deserves commendation. The buffet serves recycled food. They are not made fresh. They come from packages and heat them. Meats are recycled.

The room was so uncomfortable that there was no space to move the shower so tiny l couldn’t bend to pick up the soap, no ventilation between the bedroom and the toilet. The elevator didn’t work for a long time, we experienced noise from other neighboring rooms all the time. Staff in the reception were not friendly at all. The room and bathroom floors were so dirty that we could not walk bear foot, the bed was broken and we have photos to prove our comments. I don’t know how this terrible hotel has a 8.0 rating, it shouldn’t be more than 2.0.

Quite clean but no clean glasses each day for room and shower could do with cleaning/grout of tiles. Could also do with toilet roll being replenished. Room looked nothing like photos - I know Paris rooms are small but very limited for space. No proper ‘door’ or lock for bathroom. We booked a double room, was 2 single beds pushed together. Wardrobe space limited with blankets and heater inside wardrobe. ‘Terrace’ looks nothing like photos on website, very disappointing. The noise from street outside was INCREDIBLY loud. Appreciate city centre location but could hardly sleep with the noise.

We were ground floor, the shower was just a wet room with a curtain which water leaked through on to the floor of the bedroom. The man we met on reception on our first few days was lovely very helpful and welcoming but that was the only good thing about it. The train or underground is so loud, the walls in the hotel are so thin you can hear people flush the toilet or run water. We were ground floor so had to leave our curtains shut at all times - very expensive for what it is, wouldn’t go back.

• Tiffany (6/5): - Pictures did not match the room. No shower curtain so the whole bathroom floor got wet. Air conditioning took a long time to cool the room. Staff not very friendly. Got bitten by bed bugs.
• Oswaldo (10/5): - I would stay again in the future. Strategically located in a nice neighborhood with easy access to the metro.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Basic, friendly overall ok. - Basic hotel. Lovely staff. Room was clean and serviced each day. Great location. No wardrobe space as the doors didn’t open fully. Bath was half size with no plug. No shower curtain which was weird.
• Marina (10/5): - Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was filling. The staff were all helpful and friendly, especially Momo in the front desk. The location is near lots of restaurants, metro and buses. I’d stay here again and again!
• Chris (8/5): Great location with friendly staff. - A great location hotel with friendly staff. the rooms are quite small - but this is Paris - and we didn't intend spending much time in the room awake. You can walk up to Sacre Cour and easily get the Metro into the centre. The breakfast was good. good nearby restaurants and we found a great Bar - the Bergerac bar - just down from saint Gerorges metro station, which made fabulous cocktails

• Kate (10/5): - I have just returned from a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Margaux. As well as being really well located for Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur, the nearby metro stations mean the whole city is easily accessible. The hotel itself was clean and very comfortable, and the owner was really friendly and welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again next time I’m in Paris!

• Verified traveler (8/5): - My stay was very comfortable. My partner and myself visited Paris to celebrate our anniversary. The only comment my partner made was that he considered the room to be small. I myself have been to Amsterdam so understand the rooms are snug. A lovely hotel overall
