- Ivan (10/5): Outstanding hotel - Very good breakfast, amazing location close to good bars, restaurants and attractions. Very comfy bed, well equipped room and nice big bathroom. Staff were very helpful, did everything they could to make us feel at home. Some work being done during our stay, but we barely noticed it once past the temporary reception. Highly recommended for a relaxing trip.

Although the breakfast buffet was tasty and plentiful, it was the same exact offerings every day. The hot items should be varied during the week.

- LYNDA010 (10/5): MY FAVOURITE GO TO HOTEL IN AMSTERDAM CENTRE ♥️ - I have been coming to this Hotel for over ten years now. The only Hotel I stay at in Amsterdam. Have tried others many years ago, but the don't match up to this one. I love it for the location, lovely clean and very comfortable quiet room, and the friendly, helpful and efficient Staff. Florrentine checked me both in and out swiftly, and I enjoyed chatting to her when she had a minute. They were all really nice and kind.

We found rubbish on the window sill and washed blood off the tiles in the bathroom as we asked for it to be cleaned and it was still there. However, we were offered a new room but we declined just asking for it to be cleaned which obviously it wasn’t.

- Robin (5/5): Not for me - Service staff at the front desk, and the cleaning crew were all polite and helpful. The lobby was lovely. The cute hotel I booked was apparently bought out by the "Hipster Hilton", which I was not too happy with. My friend's room was like a matchbox and mine was like a hallway, both with fever-dream wallpaper. I'm sure there's a market for this sort of hotel, but it's not two older ladies. Lots of construction work going on with the "NYX" side of the hotel.

I need to store my medicine in the fridge, but there is no mini-fridge inside. It's hard to get in-touch via messages here in booking or via phone in room with the staff. 3 out of 6 nights we woke up because of the construction noise inside the building (awful).

Las habitaciones tienen que mejorar, paredes despintadas, camas no conformables si se unen para hacer una cama doble. - Corbeaux (7/5): Bien placé parlez bien anglais pour cet hôtel - L’emplacement L’accueil sur tablette je je n’arrivais pas à faire fonctionner et la réceptionniste me renvoyait à chaque fois dessus et prenait une autre personne. Je lui indiquais que je voulais passer avec elle mais rien n’y faisait. Enfin elle a repris la main pour nous envoyer dans nos 2 chambres mais arrivés dans nos chambres l’une d’elle était standard avec 2 lits jumeaux alors que j’avais acheté 2 supérieures avec un grand lit. Le nom de celle qui ne correspondait pas à ma réservation portait d’ailleurs un autre nom de famille sur le message de bienvenue sur le lit. Je pense que la jeune fille du vendredi avait du mal avec le logiciel. L’entrée est étrange il faut chercher, par contre il y a une autre entrée très jolie qui porte un autre nom d’hôtel et qui communique. Notre hôtel était en travaux face à l’ascenseur .

- Danielle (10/5): It was sooo enjoyable was so good to come and go as I pleased. - It’s in a fantastic location and very chilled vibe considering the pubs and clubs are so close by. And the ice dispenser. Had to call for iron, would be good if there was one already in the room.

AT BREAKFAST THEY REDFUSED ENTRY TO A VERY OLD MAN ON A WALKNG FRAME BECASUE HE COULDS NOT REMEMBER IF HE HAD PAID UP FRONT OR NOT . THIS HOTEL IS FOR TOURISTS OR BIG GROUPS WHO THEY CAN RIP OFF BECASUE THEY KNOW THEY WILL NOT COME BACK AGAIN .I WAS THERE ON BUSINESS SO ITS WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH .THE HOTEL IS SPILIT INTO TWO HOTELS SO CONFUSING FOR TAXI PICK UP .

Well kept facilities Ran out of certain items such as coffee, toilet roll etc, had to request on more than one occasion for these to be provided. I didn’t expect cleaning during the stay, but I would have expected these to be checked and topped up daily

- Kaitlin (10/5): Great hotel - It’s so central rooms are fabulous and the staff are very kind I arrived earlier than anticipated and the staff let me check in early !! How close it is to everything it’s a 30 minute walk to Amsterdam central but it’s such a nice walk

Sfortunatamente durante la prenotazione attuale non ci è stato detto che l hotel è stato diviso. Non è più quello di un tempo e soprattutto non è un hotel 4 stelle. Nessun servizio di pulizie giornaliere. Camera assegnata diversa da quella prenotata! Prenoti una superior con balcone e ti ritrovi in una standard minuscola e non ti puliscono neanche la camera quotidianamente! Senza frigo bar! Ma scherzate? E mi fate pagare una superior fior di quattrini per cosa! Pessimi mi dispiace! Speravo di trovare l hotel di qualche anno fa che era delizioso. Questo è un affittacamere che si spaccia per hotel!

Incheckning där jag själv ska skapa min rumsnyckel via en terminal är INTE det jag behöver när jag småtrött efter en resa bara vill vila lite på rummet… Byggmaterial att snubbla över i hotellkorridoren är inte charmigt. Byggdamm på golvet i korridoren på ett hotell som tar närmare 5.000 kr natten för ett rum..? Nja…
- Susan (8/5): - Accomodation was good and well presented. We were lucky to get early access and late checkout which was much appreciated. There were only small towels in our room.no bath towels and the safe was broken. Also we were granted a late checkout but fifteen minutes before the receptionist came to the room and threatened to charge 25 Euros if we were not out by 1pm. We checked out at 12.55 . They also charged us for 2 breakfasts which we did not have. I put these down to human error and would gladly stay here again.
