L’intérieur est trés cosy et trés bien décoré ce qui contraste avec la tristesse de la façade. • Emily (10/5): Loved staying here! - The hotel was the standout part of the trip. Its location was unbeatable, with everything you could need just steps away and beautiful views each morning. The staff were consistently helpful and the hotel itself was impeccably clean. Nothing really. The aircon was hard to work but that’s probably user error (me) as opposed to anything else. Breakfast was lovely and I enjoyed it each morning. However, the selection was fairly limited to croissants, yogurt, fruit and cereal, which may not suit guests looking for a wider range of options.

Kleines Manko beim Zimmerservice, WC-Papier und Duschmittel fehlten. Zimmerlampe defekt, wurde aber nach Nachfrage sofort behoben. Safe war verschlossen. Kleinigkeiten, die nicht kontrolliert wurden. Ansonsten topp.

• Zachary (9/5): The perfect place to unwind and recharge after a long day as a tourist. - The best breakfast and service we experienced after a month of traveling through Europe. Impeccably clean, comfortable, and with a fantastic location and view. Although it is located right next to the Ponte degli Scalzi—the bridge you cross when arriving from Venice Santa Lucia train station—and our room was in the front corner overlooking the canal, the triple-pane windows made the space a true sanctuary when closed. The air conditioning also worked perfectly. Our private bathroom was large and very comfortable, with all the amenities—towel heater, hair dryer, soaps, bidet, and lotion—which were especially appreciated, as the water in northern Italy can be quite drying. After a month of traveling through Europe, this has been our best stay so far. Emma, a member of the staff, was exceptional—she gave us the warmest welcome and the best recommendations. We were disappointed to witness how one of the head managers spoke to two of the Filipino staff members during our stay. They were kind and professional, and the interaction felt unnecessarily harsh. We value respectful and considerate treatment of staff, so this stood out to us.

• John (10/5): Luxury palazetto with spectacular views of Venice in a great location. - Excellent location close to train and bus stations plus with its own jetty is arriving by water taxi. The location means you don’t have to navigate the labyrinthine Venetian streets with your wheelie case when you arrive and exit! Immediate access to the main shopping and dining streets of Cannaregio over the bridge. Secure access via key code. Luxurious & spacious accommodation that only contains a total of 3 guest rooms so may suit a small group. A palatial reception room with a grand piano plus dining area/kitchen with spectacular views of the Ponte degli Scalzi and the grand canal. The staff are present in the morning for breakfast but otherwise was very private. The only fault is we couldn’t operate the safe reliably. Everything else was perfect.

The common areas were sublime to sit and relax and watch life go by on the grand canal. The breakfast that was included was superb. there was nothing to dislike.

The room was comfortable and the interior design was really done with taste and a certain degree of opulence The only hardship was that it was hard to find. We had directions, but coming without the expense of a water taxi from the airport it was not obvious where to go and it was hard to carry our bags over what turned to be two bridges in the hot sun in the crowds.

• Craig (10/5): A wonderful Venice visit after a Mediterranean cruise - The private water landing and elevator made it easy to deal with luggage and transfer from Fusina cruise port and airport. The large rooms, common area are spotless and the property overall feels very well maintained. The young ladies that hosted us for breakfast were very helpful and kind. Catalina was of great help communicating pre-stay and booking our transfers. I can’t think of a better luxury accommodation to stay in Venice.

Me atendió Catalina, la propietaria, que se ocupó, al ser un regalo sorpresa para mi madre, de hacer un bonito cartel de regalo. Además, como era un regalo de aniversario de bodas, les preparo una botella de champán y flores como obsequio. Desde el principio, Catalina estuvo atenta conmigo y me ayudó a organizarlo todo para que mis padres estuvieran de 10. Marie también fue muy simpática y comprensiva conmigo cuando no envié bien una de las identificaciones de mis padres. Como fueron mis padres lo que estuvieron en el palazzeto, dejo la reseña de ellos aquí: En general todo de 10. Muy bien situado para coger transporte: bus, tren o vaporetto. Con unas vistas desde el palazzetto espectaculares al puente de las descalzas y al gran canal. Muy cerca de restaurantes bastante asequibles. Las instalaciones muy bien cuidadas, la sala central con un piano que sorprende. Huele toda la instancia muy bien y la temperatura muy agradable. Referente al desayuno, no falta de nada, todo hecho al momento por el personal. En este caso, Verónica hacía los desayunos y no nos faltaba de nada, todo recién hecho. Sinceramente, si tuviéramos ocasión, repetiríamos sin dudarlo y ánimo a que más más gente lo pueda conocer y disfrutar como hemos hecho nosotros. Gracias por todo a Catalina y a su agradable personal. English: I arranged the trip for my parents at this accommodation, and I can only say good things about it (actually, outstanding things). I was assisted by Catalina, the owner, who, knowing it was a surprise gift for my mother, took the time to create a beautiful gift sign. Moreover, since it was an anniversary gift, she prepared a bottle of champagne and flowers as a special touch. From the very beginning, Catalina was attentive and helped me organize everything to ensure my parents had a perfect experience. Marie was also very kind and understanding when I mistakenly sent one of my parents' IDs incorrectly. Since it was my parents who stayed at the Palazzetto, I am sharing their review here: Everything was absolutely perfect. The location is excellent for catching transportation—bus, train, or vaporetto. The views from the Palazzetto are spectacular, overlooking the Ponte delle Scalze and the Grand Canal. It is also very close to reasonably priced restaurants. The facilities are well maintained, and the central hall features a piano, which was a delightful surprise. The entire place smells wonderful, and the temperature is very comfortable. Regarding breakfast, everything was perfect, freshly prepared by the staff. In this case, Verónica was in charge of the breakfasts, and we never lacked anything—everything was made to order. Honestly, if we had the chance, we would return without hesitation, and we encourage others to visit and enjoy this place as much as we did. Thank you to Catalina and her wonderful staff for everything!

Right on the Grand Canal at the Pointe Scalzi, close to the train station, and an easy spot to walk anywhere in less than 15 minutes. • mojisolao (10/5): PALAZETTO FOSCARI ❤️😘 A Beautiful little Gem in Venice - Home away from Home . - Palazetto Foscari is just the most amazing place to stay in Venice , you feel as you walk in that you have come to your own luxurious palazzo , the decor is beautiful and the windows that frame the view of the canal is a beautiful architectural feature of the space . I am a guest at the moment as I write this article and my room is called the Charming room , the private bathroom is next door but it made no difference that it wasn’t an en-suite because you feel that you are the only one in the whole space . Breakfast is lovely with hot croissants, cold cuts , yogurt , fruit and eggs made to your choice . The location also has to get points as everywhere is not too far a walk away .The staff are very attentive and welcoming . It’s going to me our little gem of exceptional value in this beautiful City - VENICE 💕

The view from the hotel is to the beautiful Ponte degli Scalzi Bridge and Grand Canal. We also had a very nice suprise from the staff waiting in our room, we enjoyed it a lot. The team are wonderful, it's like having your own personal Venice concierge. I didn't realise when it said external bathroom that I had to leave our room and unlock an external bathroom, as there were only 2 other couples it was ok, but the lock was a bit tricky so to unlock your bedroom door then go out and unlock your bathroom door was not ideal. Still a fantastic hotel tho.

Excellent location by one of the bridges over the Grand Canal. • 891PeterH891 (10/5): Just Wonderful - We spent 3 nights here at the end of June and loved the place, the staff were wonderful and contacted us before our arrival with suggetions on the best transfer from the airport, they also give us so great resturaunt recommendations for our stay. We had the place to ourselves as they had a cancellation, the room was great, looking over the Grand Canal, bright and clean as a whistle, lots of storage and a good bathroom. The rest of the hotel was lovely with a modern kitchen where the wonderful breakfast was served each morning. Located just across from the railway station and close to the bus station, a tip for busy times is to go to the bus station for the water bus No.1 or No.2 to head down the Grand Canal as the queues at the railway station can be long.

• susanmM4417FO (10/5): Perfect Hotel - Just returned from a 4 night stay at this small but stunning hotel. Situated next to Scalzi Bridge overlooking the Grand Canal. Everything is within easy walking distance. However the water bus station is very close. The train station is just over the bridge (4 mins walk) and if you prefer, a water taxi can drop you at the door of the hotel. Our room was spacious and immaculate. The air conditioning was perfect ( we never needed to adjust it). The bed was large and probably the comfiest we’ve ever had in a hotel. The views from the windows of our room were stunning in all directions. Everybody we had any interactions with at the hotel were very friendly and took time to offer advise and guidance. Nothing was too much trouble. From before we checked in to after we checked out, they were available to us. This trip was booked for me as a surprise for my birthday. I couldn’t have asked for anywhere better to stay. We had such a great time we’d love to return in the future. A special shout out to Brenno and Marie. They contributed to my surprise. They helped book a restaurant on our behalf. Provided arrival gifts for our room. Thank you also to Catolina for the beautiful flowers You all made us feel so welcome.
• astridc499 (8/5): A Boutique Stay in Venice, service is good but can be polished - Pros: 1. The bnb was clean, stylish, and so exquisite in decoration taste. 2. Great view with the grand canal. (The deluxe suite) 3. The staff, especially Marie was friendly and helpful. All the restaurants and spots she recommened were FANTASTIC. Brenno, although I didn't meet in person, was friendly too and tried to solve my problems of our missed stay due to previous flight misconnection. 4. Breakfast is included, although they didn't specify on the booking page. The breakdast was made by staff at certain time. Basic but quite sufficient and delicious. Some improvements needed: 1. The reception/process of check-in: The instructions were very clear and the property was easy to find. I understand it is more a bnb-like stay instead of a hotel. However, it would be really nice and welcoming if the staff on-site could kindly go downstairs and help us open the door or greet us rather than we tried to look for who was the staff to confirm check-in process. We managed to get into the apartment and waited for like several minutes to finally meet Marie. (She's very nice though!) If the staff could give us some brief room tour of the room and public space or story of the property would be great too. 2. The daily cleaning of the room: The cleaning lady usually starts her work around 11 am, and there was one time she tried to open our door when we were still inside the room. I would suggest for a beforehand notification of cleaning time or let the guests choose cleaning time or make the daily cleaning optional. (If the guests are ok with it) 3. The tap water sign of deluxe room: The hot/cold sign on the tap was printed opposite, just a minor problem but fixing it would be much user-friendly. In all, it's a boutique stay in Venice with a splendid view and an easy access by public transportation. The property is well-maintained with an elevator and everything you need in the hotel. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Last thing to note, I left earlier on my last day, and I really appreciate that the fact they prepared early easy breakfast for us. Thank you!

• nonabryce (10/5): Perfect place in Venice - My husband and I had an amazing stay! The B&B is in a perfect location to shops, restaurants and transportation. The train station is literally over the bridge. I can’t say enough about the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. Kaithe, the guest manager was amazing for information and she is very friendly Veronica made the perfect breakfast every morning and was always kind and friendly Would definitely return when visiting Venice.
• E9350UCdavidb (10/5): Hidden gem - Definitely a hidden gem. First, this is not a hotel, it's more like a quaint bed and breakfast right on the Grand Canal. You're given a code to enter the property, which is an old palazzo, and the Foscari is situated on the second floor (there is an elevator). There are three rooms, we had the Grand Canal deluxe room, which was spacious with walk-in closet, very clean, and amazing views. An elegant shared space with a balcony overlooking the Grand Canal (again, killer views), and a large, fully-equipped kitchen are available for all guests. The breakfasts are phenomenal. We were greeted each morning with a lovely set table complete with freshly-squeezed orange juice, granola, cereal, fresh fruits, yogurt, fresh croissants, made-to-order coffee and eggs (if desired), all with a view of the Grand Canal. The perfect way to start your day. Our hostess, Kaithe, was excellent, always immediately available via WhatsApp and always ready to help with any questions and/or plans. No complaints over a 7-night stay.

• Dino (10/5): Best and most practical place to be in Venice. - It is the second time I have traveled to Venice. I think without a doubt that this is the best place one could stay: the Palazetto is a 4-minute walk from the train station, so there is no need to drag suitcases all over Venice, or hop on and off vaporettos with suitcases , or much less order a water taxi to get there or back. 30 minutes after the arrival time of your train you can be wandering around the islands. After checking out you can leave your bags stored and drink herbal water with a view of the grand canal while you wait for the departure time of your return train. For the same reason (being close to the train station), it is very well connected to the main vaporetto routes, with a direct connection to Murano/Burano. Furthermore, to get to San Marco you can walk directly (and quickly) through San Polo and Dorsoduro, avoiding the crowds and also quickly arriving at interesting places to visit if you like art (Accademia Gallery, Escuela Grande de San Roco and Santa María de la Salud). Regarding the place itself, the fireplace room is spacious and bright, with a great view of the Grand Canal, and the common spaces are also very pleasant to be in, for example, between lunch and dinner. The cleanliness of the rooms is very neat and everything is always very tidy. Breakfast is varied and includes everything you need for a long day of hiking (egg, ham, yogurt, fruits, etc.). The attention of the managers is excellent and cordial, they made my mother and I feel as if we were at home. If I return to Venice, I would definitely stay at Palazetto Foscari again.
• ameliay86 (10/5): A great stay - It was our first visit to Venice and the city plus this small hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s perfectly located right off a bridge across the main railway station ( Santa Lucia) and not far from the bus port . We came by car and water taxi and there was a landing right outside the building . The building itself wasn’t much to look at when we arrived but we were pleasantly surprised by the apartment ( 2nd floor with the lifts) . Exquisitely renovated and furnished , it has three bedrooms , 2 with ensuites and one with a bathroom next to the room . Great for a family or group of 6. The largest room has a great view of the grand canal and bridge . Breakfast is served from a dining room next to the modern kitchen and great views too . We stayed 5 nights over Xmas and had the whole place to ourselves . Lots of restaurants around and a mini market close by . Kate took such good care of us . We could use the kitchen to warm food up and make a hot drink . We were given a lovely Xmas cake as well which was a lovely touch . Throughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place .

We did not realize that the room we booked did not have an ensuite bathroom and found it awkward to go into the hall to access the bathroom.

The property was very clean and our room was serviced each day. The breakfast each morning was great and convenient. The proximity to the train station makes the property easy to reach with your luggage. Michael was fantastic and provided great recommendations for food, even making reservations for us each night. Would highly recommend staying here for your stay in Venice. We hope to visit again!
• 388channingw (10/5): Absolutely Incredible - I had just spent a little over a week with my family in Positano celebrating the beautiful wedding of my older sister and her wonderful new husband! I decided I needed a couple days to myself to just regroup before I headed back to the states and the best way I thought to do this was to really explore a city I had never been to before! I am a homebody and very picky about where I stay when so am away from home! I have to feel 100% comfortable when I am away and from the second I booked my stay, I just got this feeling that I was going to be in good hands! Michael was an UNBELIEVABLE HOST! He messaged me to retrieve all the details on my travel from Positano to Venice and was right there when my taxi dropped me off to help with ALL my luggage. From the second I walked in, I was in awe… the decor, the view, the energy of the residence. It was all so breathtaking. He gave me a tour of the residence and even pulled out a map of the city for me that would help guide me around town & he also recommended many amazing options based on what I told him I liked. Everything was perfect, my room was magical, the bathroom was so clean with a giant bathtub (who doesn’t want to take a relaxing bath in one of the most beautiful cities in Italy?) My schedule only allowed me to stay for two days & that was hardly enough time! I am already planning my next trip and know exactly where I am going to stay. The location is perfect and you can walk anywhere you want ( I did and I truly never felt safer ) ! I honestly had tears in my eyes when the water taxi was taking me to the airport! Thank you to Michael & his entire staff for the most memorable experience in Venice! I am counting down the days until I get to go back!

• O (10/5): I was contemplating gatekeeping this place, but it’s too good - Palazzetto Foscari was our last stop in our long Italian honeymoon and it was by far the best! Caltalina, Chiara, Michael & Michelle made us feel welcomed and went above & beyond for us. Catalina recommended a bunch of “locals’ favorite” spots & helped with some reservations. The location is great & convenient to move around Venice. And the Palazzetto is stunningly beautiful! Full of natural light, amazing art & the most incredible views in Venice. I can’t recommend this place enough! We have already booked our next stay. Ps: they can provide with gluten free breakfast if notify the team. Can’t think of anything.
• ConnieCuzz (10/5): WONDERFUL! A MUST STAY!!! - I can’t say enough great things about Palazzetto Foscari. My husband and I visited for 3 nights this past week, and it exceeded our expectations. I want to note that we are super picky when it comes to hotels, and this was fantastic. Michael, Catalina and the team went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of, and that we felt like we were at home. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite (stay here if you can), and it was absolutely stunning. The room was huge, and cleaned daily. Everything was super clean. Michael and team prepared breakfast for us every morning in the kitchen, which was such a nice touch, and he helped us with restaurant bookings as well. We had a wonderful view of the Grand Canal from our room as well. I hope to be back soon, and I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice! Thank you Michael, Catalina and team!
