• Marc (6/5): Stayed for 1 night - Room was pretty small and the light over the desk did not work. Outside street was busy, the neighborhood not very attractive, but not unsafe. Tram stop was nearby, but we walked 1/4 mile from the Central train station. Staff was nice and helpful.
• James (8/5): - Hotel is walking distance to the train station. Also, there is a tram stop just a short block to the left, as you're coming out. Staff was friendly enough and securely stored, and tagged, our luggage when we arrive hours before check in. There is a strip joint a few doors down, but do not be alarmed. It is a very diverse neighborhood, with little spots to eat, non-drinking Muslim locals, and enough light. Also, if you need a break from pork and potatoes, there is a little fruit stand, down by the tram stop. We had a very early flight out, and walked to the train station before 4:30am, in the dark. There were people out (it was the first night of Oktobefest) but we felt safe. Only real downside, for some, might be the size of the room. It is small. No biggie for us, as we only used it for sleeping and were gone the rest of the days and evenings. However, the bathroom is tiny! I'm a small guy, and I can't imagine an XXL person getting in and out of the shower. For the convenience to the train station, I'd stay there again.

As with most such locations, the surrounding area is variable with some good restaurants and other scruffy looking takeaways etc. But would definitely recommend for location and value.

• s k (6/5): - I had previouisly made a booking at the same hotel with another site which I'd cancelled... this seemed to confuse the staff as it was still showing on their system... they couldn't find the new booking at first. Also there was an issue with breakfast. It was Breakfast Included in my booking confirmation, again they couldn't find it! I was put in a room on the second floor facing the trams so there was some noise.

• Marc (6/5): Surprise - I booked our stay based upon previous stays at an Ibis Styles property and its proximity to the train station. As compared to Ibis’ Styles concept, the room was surprisingly small - similar to a college dorm room. My son and I are both tall and had difficulty utilizing the bathroom, especially the shower. Our stay was during an unusually hot week and the room AC could not adequately cool the room. Despite these negatives, the overall condition of the property was good. It was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Although I probably wouldn’t stay there again because of the small rooms, it’s a great economical option for my college-aged son.

The hotel also provides a comfortable accomodation option for solo or couples and is a reliable option for those who wish to explore Munich or those who are looking to have easy access to the trains.

• Mark (6/5): Room AC does not exist. - We choose this hotel for 2 reasons, it was close to the train station and had air conditioning. The air conditioning did not work at all, not just in our room but any room (so I believe). Unfortunately Europe is notorious for its lack of working air conditioning, so we had 2 days over 30c in a hot, tiny hotel room, and it’s fair to say this tarnished our stay at this hotel. The positives is that it is very close to the station, easy walk to the city and close to shops and restaurants.

• Irv (8/5): - I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel was chosen based upon its distance to the central train station and the price. Overall I was satisfied with my stay. The hotel is clean and the room was in good condition. I was disappointed that the room did not have a safe however the front desk staff were very helpful by providing access to a safe deposit desk at the front desk. Overall I was pleased with my stay and would stay at this hotel again in the future.

• Kajintha (4/5): - At first, I thought this place was going to be great as I was greeted by the front desk and she left me leave my luggage and allowed me to use the washroom on the main level before my check-in time. Unfortunately, I have one major issue to report when I stayed over my feet were itching while asleep. At the time, I did not think much of it but I can confirm I have received bed bugs on my feet. I also noticed a small brown stain on the duvet which I ended up rotating the duvet to get it away from my face. I also visited the bar downstairs for 1 beer however my experience wasn’t good at all. The bartender handed me a menu and proceeded to chat back with a couple from France from the hotel which is great but it took him over 8 mins to come over to me and ask me what I wanted. Keep in mind, it was only the couple and myself at the bar only. He was not busy at all. I finally ordered a beer and he then proceeded to talk to the couple again which is fine but please be respectful of my presence. I still have not received my drink and patiently waiting. What was sad is that another guest arrived 10 minutes after me at the bar and was served a beer. I saw it happen in front of me and the bartender noticed and pretended like he was still working to fill up my beer. I finally got my beer and asked to pay by card. He asked if I had cash which I answered no and asked to pay by card. He left a very sad experience for me where I did not feel recognized at all.

• John (8/5): A pleasant and comfortable stay in Munich. - Hotel was well situated close to the main train station and 5 mins walk from the main shopping and eating areas. The room allocated was a good size for a single occupant. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and cleaned each day if required. The breakfast provided was good with hot and cold options. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I would stay in the hotel again if returning to Munich.

The hotel was in the heart of downtown, within walking distance to restaurants and coin laundries, only a few minutes from the train station. The rooms were clean and full of amenities. The bar in the lobby was always lively and full of character.

The reception and red team is great - friendly and professional. The cleaning ladies are not very attentive, we had to remind twice to replace the towels, and the shower gel did not get refilled. The rooms are small, it the hotel is new & fresh. Good choice if you do not expect anything fancy. The hotel has a garage, open 24/7, very convenient.

The carpets in the room have seen better days & I kept shoes on throughout my stay. Contemporary decor includes odd bed side lamps with cables hanging above pillows & your face. Bathroom had an odour of a public WC & as it is small made the experience unpleasant. Toilet and shower stall very stained. Water was v hot though. There was a weird buzzing sound which went all night that could not be located. Check-in staff on arrival were unkempt but friendly however the night receptionist was surly. Not much positive to say about this hotel.

"free" internet will last for 15 min, don't even think you can watch a movie on netflix, it just stops without any warning. Some tracks are coming to the hotel early morning - should keep windows closed.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great location and friendly staff - On arrival we were advised that if we are light sleepers to wait for one of the rooms in the back otherwise we could early check in. We were glad to check in early and we are not light sleepers so it suited us. The young gentleman at the desk also advised us where to get reasonably priced octoberfest pieces. The rooms were ok everything you need, the toilet and shower were very tight, I guess it’s an old building so rooms are tiny in general. All the staff we came across were very friendly. Thing to note that during octoberfest, hotel and most places apart from supermarkets do not accept card just cash. The hotel was greatly located with cafes nearby and supermarket 10mim walk, the central train station 7 minute walk, Marienplatz 20 mins and octoberfest 20mins. There is also metro station and a tram if you prefer to take public transport.

• Alan (10/5): Basic but good - Visiting Munich, we wanted somewhere central but also cheap. This the Ibis is. Our room was small, as was its bathroom, but the only complaint was that it was noisy outside. (It was a city centre, on a Friday night, which is why we pack ear plugs)

Excellent breakfast buffet for additional fee is not to be missed. A nice bar on the main level with many places to have a chat undisturbed. Two high speed elevators. Large windows look onto a beautiful courtyard. Rooms are not too big, but have all of the basic amenities to make you comfortable. The bed was perfect for my tired back. Right out the door of the hotel is, easily, 20 or 30 restaurants within a 10 minute walk--all types of cuisines.

• Rian (8/5): Pretty decent - Check in was apparently to begin around 15:00. They let me check in around 12:00. Booked a twin room and asked subsequently asked specifically for 2 twin beds. What I got was 2 single beds stuck right beside each other in the style of a double bed. Room was far too small to be able to separate them. Bathroom was quite small and the shower took a few minutes to heat up then got incredibly hot. Staff were pretty friendly. I had to show a negative Covid test at check in which I wasn’t aware of until I arrived. Maybe I missed that in the small print, but it seems like a good requirement - I had one already for other purposes so no issues. Check out was quick. Just had to drop my keys into a box at reception.
• Assem (2/5): Engineer assem juratli - Only the bed good no mini bar or fridge .room very small and AC hot Air blow my wife get truth dried and the extra bed was not comfortable and toilet unsafe to take shower the glass door open inside and when you will enter you can't close the door and to go inside the shower you have 20cm step without any handle support I don't know how he get license as Hotel also no hand spray (shattaf) also washbasin far from toilet so you can't put travel hand spray
• W (2/5): - Rooms are extremely tiny, definitely not the usual ibis standard. Walls were very thin, we could hear the entire conversation that was taking place next door. Toilet windows are see through. Don’t know if it’s meant to be “tinted” windows or not but we could clearly see into the toilet windows of other rooms so I’m pretty sure they could see straight into ours as well. There was no option to cover the windows and with the hotel near to other accommodations, this is definitely an issue that should be looked into.

• Dmitry (6/5): - On one hand, the Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly, on the other, the AC barely cooled down the room, no kettle, no fridge, no drawer or closed to put clothes in and extremely small rooms. I never seed rooms so small in any hotel. There was no place for 2 people in a room. The bathroom lacks a lock. Meaning you can't lock the door when you're in the bathroom. The space in the bathroom is even more shocking. The toilet is near the wall in the corner, therefore you have to sin a bit sideways on it. The showers were leaking and the space was so cramped that I couldn't even bend towards the sink because there was no space to do so.

• Eric (8/5): Good for a weekend city break - Great location & reasonably good value for money, however the room was very small & lacked wardrobe / cupboard / storage space. OK for a weekend break, but not suited for longer stays. Staff were very polite & helpful, breakfast was nice.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - The only thing I can say that was good was its cleanliness and position to the station. First the staff were unable to find my booking. Had I not had an email from them discussing a mater I'm not convinced they would have given me my room. The rooms were TINY. There were no wardrooms, cupboards, kettle, safe. My friend and I had booked a double room and there was not enough space for either of us to hang our cloths and we travel light. The bathroom was comical. With a paper thin door we could hear every bodily function performed. Breakfast buffet was perthitic and not even close to the money paid for it.

• Peter (8/5): Great place to explore central Munich - Excellent location at a reasonable price. Quiet rooms, clean sheets and a good breakfast provided. We were there to visit family but it is also a good hotel from which to explore the centre of Munich. We have stayed there before and would do so again.
• steven (8/5): Clean budget hotel with excellent staff - Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. This is a budget hotel - small room, small bathroom, but everything you need is there and it was clean with comfortable beds. It is a short walk to the train station and the area is okay - maybe a little rough. Lots of food places, but almost all kabobs. However, a short walk to the train station or nearby streets brings a little more variety. Overall, a good budget option
