Guest Reviews
- Marina (4/5): - TV wasn’t working. Common bath and toilet were two flights of stairs away
- Charlie (2/5): Avoid at all cost - Wouldn’t put next doors dog in this place. And I don’t like next doors dog. Was only in the area for 1 night and looked ok on hotels.com. The place is an absolute tip, avoid at all cost. I ended up leaving and not using the place as it was that bad. Got a hotel round the corner in Canary Wharf instead.
- John (8/5): Good guest house - A more than decent guest house. The room was clean and shared facilities also clean. I was allowed to check in early and I had no issues.
- Kat (6/5): Good and bad - Was ok , think the hallways needed redoing as thread bare in places , we had quite a large gap between door frame and door which could see into our room , the blinds didnt completely cover the windows had to improvise with clothes on hangers to keep eyes from buildings opposite us out , the room was clean , had fan as well and plenty of space to hang clothes and drawers for clothes , the communial area was tidy , only issue really is no bathroom or toilets in bedroom , shared bathroom in communial area and 2nd floor , the bathroom and shower in communial area you have to be careful as when you open door there is a step up into bathroom , tripped once on this as wasnt paying attention , we turned the extension lead off in our room , when my wife went to use it no power in the last 2 ports , on closer inspection someone had screwed the extension lead to the wall by going through the front of the power bar rather then hanging the correct way from the back , hassan was very friendly and sorted broadband issue out quickly , the room served its purpouse for 2 days as we needed accomodation to get to o2
- Doreen (2/5): - This was not a guess house it was someones house who rent it out, for business
- Håkon (6/5): Ingen utsikt til Themsen. - Lite med ett kombinert bad/toalett på 5 rom. Smal knirkete trapp til 2. etasje. Dårlig med lys i trappen. Lite lydisolasjon. Ingen utsikt til Themsen.
- Mark (4/5): - This is like a shared house. The room was private but bathroom, living room and kitchen are shared!
The room was run down, cheap thin doors with poor locks. I checked under the bed and it had never been cleaned, dust balls under both beds. It was cheap but very easy to miss the fact that bathroom and lounge is shared.
- Verified traveler (8/5): 1 night stay - Just a night stay, place was clean and comforty, a bit tricky to find but we did. On street parking was tricky as its in a residential area.where other person also live.
- Jennifer (10/5): - The host was very friendly & let us check in earlier than planned. Room was nice & everything was clean
- dawnbC7150RG (2/5): Not happy at all drove 4hrs there then 4 hrs back wouldn't recommend for couple weekend - Not a bit like pictures bars on window more like a council house than a guest house walked in then walked out no banister just a rope ok for construction worker for a night to get head done not for a couple for weekend one toilet up stairs between everyone
- Simon (6/5): Clean room in house near Surrey Quays tube - Not really a hotel, but a room in a house on residential street 15 minutes walk from the Surrey Quays tube station. There's shared bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen to use. The room was clean and I slept well. I just needed a bed for one night and it was fine for this. If I was staying for longer I'd probably pay a bit more and find a hotel with a bit more privacy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice room just not enough hot water to shower - The room is clean and tidy. The shared bathroom didn't have enough hot water to shower in winter.
- philip (10/5): - Very good place to stay and Hassan a great host 😃
- Verified traveler (10/5): good - it was good
- mariahH3063KP (2/5): Owner Does Not Honour Transferrable Dates Policy - Booked and paid for this reservation on the understanding that although the booking is non refundable it was advertised as dates could be transferred. However I have picked two separate dates now, both of which were free and the owner keeps declining the change of dates even though the property is advertised as transferable. Really disappointed with owner. So be warned - if you have to change your plans, don’t expect to be able to change your dates.
- John (6/5): - I thought I was booking a room with a bathroom but when I got there it was shared facilities. Feel the information on the site was misleading. Basic accommodation and there was writing on the wall in our room.
- Sandhep (8/5): Helpful host, great location - We were shocked reading the previous review, this was not at all our experience. It is a house in a residential street, it was basic, but spacious room with private bathroom and perfectly clean..
The host was great - very helpful and accommodating.
A really good location for exploring central London at a reasonable price.
There was a sanitising station in the entrance hallway for the use of staff and guests.
- 11zoen (2/5): Awful - It's a house on a residential road with rooms in it .bedding was stained .stained flooring .kitchen looked lovely then I opened the mircowave full of cockroaches. Bathroom was awful toilet seat didnt fit the toilet .dirty bath mat. Yes it was close to the thames and yes theres a tescos .but it's a health risk. We left in the early hours of the morning .saw more cockroaches running round on the kitchen floor .awful .so dont book here
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly staff, nice room, nice bathroom. Good heating. Truly enjoyed my stay.
- Brad (2/5): Not a hotel. - This is not a hotel. It is a house where someone is renting out the rooms.
- Mattias (8/5): The middle-class villa area - Few good restaurants in the vicinity. I really liked jogging along the Thames in the morning. The cleaning was fantastic and the neighborhood is super-calm which makes it perfect for sleeping.
