• Victoria (10/5): Very convenient location with friendly staff - Conveniently located close to Ueno Station where it is easy to travel from to many parts of Tokyo and outside. Nice and friendly and very helpful staff. Lots of interesting places to visit within walking distance, including shopping, eating places and historical locations. Rooms are very small but was suitable for me and my daughter to stay for 10 days and we managed well with our suitcases

• J3740BHchelseap (6/5): Very convenient, okay in general - There isn’t much to say about this hotel as it’s more on the cheaper side, the main good thing about this place is that it’s very close to the station. Within walking distance and it’s not that bad, especially if you have heavy luggage like we did. There are also a lot of restaurants and stores nearby to eat at. I was traveling with a family of four, the downside of this is that the room was very small. Barely enough room to fully open up luggage on the floor and we had to open it on the bed. There was a microwave but I didn’t try to test it out. Fridge works fine but if you want to put something in the freezer make sure it’s in the right section. You have to download an app to use the vending machine in the lobby which I thought was interesting but there are plenty more nearby as well. Plenty of outlets, no converter needed for charges if it was the right shape. The washroom was clean enough but I will say that there personally wasn’t enough room on the counter for us. The shampoo and conditioner were pretty good and my hair felt nice after. No breakfast but there were a lot of 7/11s and family marts nearby. The sun in this area rises very early but the thing is that the blinds were really bad. We kept getting waken up from the sun coming in through the window of our place because we were directly under the window and there was a lot of space between the cover and the wall. Overall, it works as a hotel if you are not trying to spend a lot of money on other things, there are a few downsides but nothing majorly wrong with it.

This is a barebones hotel so had to keep that in mind. Staff were very nice! With the perspective that this is a barebones hotel, cleanliness was okay and room is small. I wish the hotel had TA-Q-BIN service, figured this out the hard way.

He always speak rudely and not helpful at all. but the night shift (2men) is very good a help us a lot. We lost a watch and iphone charger. we back to hotel after that bit they are gone. Everything is good, except the japanese man manager at the reception in morning shift.

• chenbob (10/5): Value small room near Ueno Station - I chose this hotel for it's location and that there was an in room microwave. The price was also good for single room. The location was nearby everything in Ueno area. Walkable to the Ueno station, Ueno Park, Ueno zoo and the famous Ameyoko market. There were so many restaurants and supermarket nearby. The room was small but clean. The staff were friendly. I could leave the luggage on the check out date and came back later to get it. I would pick this hotel again if I wanted to stay in Ueno area.
• Thao (5/5): Hotel prices are too expensive compared to the value provided. 135.000 yen per 1 night - Good location Too expensive, i had to pay 135.000 yen /1 night for 4 pax. Check in 3pm, check out 10am. NO BREAKFAST INCLUDE. When we arrived the hotel and ask the receiption staff about this price is real, she said maximum offen around 5.000 yen, may be it is a problem from booking. Other guest came to check in and paid around 5-6 000 yen. She asked the manager man again, then the men said that we were be charged extra fee 280% because this day is holiday ( she didnt know which holiday and why other guest was not be charged the same us. I messaged to the hotel on booking before check in and then but no one reply us. However, the room for 4 people is too small with 2 single beds inside under 15 m2. The working talbe to small with iron, microwave, ... Dont have enough space for open our luggage. we could see dust flying in the room when opening the curtains early in the morning because the room too small.

• hien (2/5): - When I booked via Expedia, there's no option about non-smoking or smoking. When I saw my room was for smoking, I emailed the hotel but they never answered. When arrived, they said I couldn't be changed. Cigarette smells the whole hotel!
• LI-PU (6/5): 交通方便，安靜 - 地理位置靠近很靠近上野站，而且位處巷弄很安靜。算是方便的選擇。房間很小，床之外幾乎不太有甚麼空間，但整體還算乾淨。我的方案沒有早餐，然後也沒有甚麼設施可以使用。比較適合整天在外活動，會需要去上野站做車的人可以考慮選擇，住宿本身也就簡單過過夜而已

• Elena (8/5): - For my fellow Americans, please realize hotel rooms in Tokyo are small. This hotel is no except. But it was clean and close to the Ueno train station. Staff spoke English well and checkin and out was no problem. It’s clean and functional. Good if you just want a crash pad which our family wanted. It’s also hard to find a hotel that will allow 4 people in 1 room. 3 seems to be the max.
