• Ulla (8/5): Modernes kleines Hotel - Sehr modern eingerichtetes Zimmer, modernes Bad, alles sehr sauber sehr gute Lage direkt an der Metro Station, mit der man aber noch zum Hauptbahnhof fahren muss Das Bett war leider an einer Seite auseinander gebrochen, so dass man sich überhaupt nicht anlehnen konnte Die Mitarbeiter konnten leider so gut wie kein Englisch aber wir konnten uns trotzdem verständigen

• Nate (9/5): I enjoyed my visit here a lot, it was close to the center of Shinjuku for easy access, but far enough to be in a much qu - The location was great, very close to a connivence store, Shinjuku Gyoen Park and a quick walk or train to the heart of Shinjuku. The bed was comfortable and the room had a bit more space than other hotels I stayed at. The staff was very friendly! Also, the cafe on the ground floor is very cute and serves as a lounge in the morning for hotel guests. The bathroom was clean but some finishes were getting a bit worn.

• Merel (8/5): - Nice quiet room with all amenities for a solo traveller. The bed was super comfortable and all amenities (towels, bathrobe, shampoo, etc.) were available. You could tell that the room was old, with some of the wallpaper in the bathroom coming off, and it looking a bit dated. But it was all clean, which is most important.

• Alysha (6/5): It was ok. Glad we didn’t extend our stay before arriving. - Good location. Big room on top floor. Family mart across the road. Musty damp smell when walking into reception/cafe area and in the room we were in, especially in the bathroom. The shower water pressure was so low it felt like a kids watering can dribbling onto plant seedlings. Staff were much friendlier everywhere else we have stayed in Japan as main focus has been the guests whereas staff here were juggling cafe and guests.

The space in the room was very good for a hotel of its price and location. Our WiFi didn’t work for the whole trip but because we both had data on our phones it didn’t bother us and we didn’t raise the issue with the hotel. The WiFi for other rooms showed up though so it may have just been a glitch with our room.

• Alice (10/5): Great place to stay. Would 100% recommend - Perfect location. So near to shinjuku-gyoen, the metro station, and many restaurants. Opposite a convenience store. Everything we needed was in the room - hairdryer, fridge, desk, kettle. Cosy bed. Great pressure shower. Amazing sushi bowl place, Ume, just around the corner ran by 2 elders. Great atmosphere and so close! Room sometimes had slightly drains-like smell but you only noticed it when you first came in and wasn’t a problem.

• Lauren (10/5): My go to Tokyo hotel - I’ve stayed here so many times now and each time is just as good as the previous. Every time I come to Tokyo I always check if there is availability here first! I think you get a good sized room for the price compared to lots of other hotels in the area. The location is really convenient with lots of amenities around. The staff are always really friendly and helpful too. I’ve already booked to stay here again for another trip next month! Nothing - great as always!

• Ornella (9/5): Cosy, relaxed, and welcoming — it felt like a little local hideaway in Shinjuku. - Book and Bed Tokyo Shinjuku was such a cosy, comfy place to stay in a quiet part of Shinjuku. It had a really nice vibe and the staff were super friendly. Downstairs there’s a little sunken café where they do breakfast and afternoon snacks like waffles, cakes, and coffee — lots of locals popped in, which was nice, and you could just sit and watch people walk past. It’s right next to a train station, so getting around Tokyo was easy, and central Shinjuku was only about a 15-minute walk. The room was small but totally fine for the two of us, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. There’s a FamilyMart across the road for cheap and easy food, heaps of restaurants nearby, and the staff even helped us move our luggage, which was a big plus. Nothing would highly recommend

• NG (2/5): - only thing I like about this place is the location, very convenient and near convenience stores and the train station the cleanliness is simply not there, when I first stepped into the room, there was a very moldy smell. It was so bad u asked to changed rooms and the room was still filled with a moldy smell. We had a hard time communicating with the employees there because they don’t speak English…in the end we asked for a refund for our stay and last minute book another hotel. Also just to add on, from the moment we checked in, the employees were not welcoming at all, they were giving us a “I don’t want to serve u” face and keep talking to each other in Japanese whenever we don’t understand them. They don’t even apologize when we told them about our room and asked to checked out. If you’re a backpacker and don’t mind the cleanliness, then this hotel is for u

• Jocelyn (8/5): Great location, no frills, good value - Great location really close to Shinjuku-Gyoemmae Station (Marunuchi Line), shops and restuarants nearby, and a nice walk to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Our room had a tiny balcony and a little alcove with a desk and a fridge, which made our stay much more comfortable than it would have been otherwise. The option of eating on site was very helpful. I would have liked more space to put my bag, book, etc. but very good value at this price point. View of the street below, and some street noise, but not an issue.
• Davis (4/5): I would not recommend this hotel - all my hotels with this one exception were great - they’re must be a better option - If you want to be in Shinjuku the location is good but there are nicer locations The room was poorly equipped, the furnishings were old and tired. The room was dirty - walls and paintwork stained. It was cold and had a condensation problem. They staff were aloof and mainly absent.

• Michał (10/5): Warro - Jak na standardy Tokijskie pokój jest duży. Dużo miejsca na walizki, szafa, klimatyzacja, biurko, duży TV, Duża łazienka z prysznicem, winda w budynku. Nienaganna czystość. Możliwość zameldowania poza godzinami działania recepcji. Jest opcja przechowania bagażu. Totalnie bezproblemowy pobyt. Do największej stacji Shinjuku 15minut powolnym spacerem ale pod nosem jest mała stacja metra. Na przeciwko wyjścia jest family Markt. Dzielnica jest spokojna i nic nie utrudniało nam spania.

• Helen (7/5): Good for a one night stay but I wouldn't be able to sleep well if I stayed longer. - I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room - a lot bigger than I had expected. The bed and pillows were large and comfortable, there was plenty of space to put luggage, and the tv was huge! I liked the location right near the subway station, and a Family Mart right across the street. Two free bottle of water were also most appreciated. I was not there for long, but the downstairs cafe area looked bright and cheery. The walls were not very soundproof. I found it hard to sleep in an inner city area with the street right below the room. I could hear people outside until after midnight, and a motorbike woke me at 4.30am, on a Sunday!

• Charlotte (7/5): Good size room and great location - A good size room for Tokyo, had enough space on the floor for two big suitcases. Nice big bathroom with good shower. Great location, very close to an underground station. Room was quite dark as didn’t let in much natural light. There was a slight damp smell in the room.
