• Camelia (3/5): if you can handle the loud bar noise then yeah stay but otherwise id give it a miss. - The team are really nice, helpful when my electricity cut out for 2 hours It is so loud until 2am because theres a bar next door, they have earplugs but I literally jammed my head between two pillows and had earplugs but it was still so loud, if you do stay here avoid room 235 its opposite the staff room and the door opening and closing constantly was annoying. location isn't worth it when the lack of sleep is happening.

Great location walking distance to the hawker centres and china town. Really pretty, clean and safe neighbourhood with so much to do walking distance or a short grab ride. Really great place for a Singapore stay.

The hotel is ok for a short stay, I had a no window room and was confortable. Considering Singapur prices is alright Nothing in particular, just that the room is a little dark

• Stefanie (5/5): Preis-Leistung passen für uns nicht. - Kleines individuelles Hotel mit Gästeküche inkl. kostenlosem Wasser, Tee, Kaffee und Keksen Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr klein (Koffer lässt sich nur auf dem Bett öffnen), die Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen und die Klimaanlage bläst immer gleich eisig kalt - selbst komplett aus wurde es im Zimmer auch nicht wärmer. Die Betten sind bequem, allerdings unangenehm schwitzig ohne warm zu sein. Kurz vor der Anreise wird man mehrfach darauf hingewiesen, dass es von der Straße laut ist und man die U-Bahn spürt, dass das alles aber zum Charme der Unterkunft gehört. Diese Informationen sollten bereits in der Beschreibung enthalten sein.

Laundry and sun deck. Price point very good. Who needs windows? As a long term user, the removal of the free automatic espresso coffee machine and replacement with instant rubbish is a big disappointment

• Andreas (10/5): Wir kommen wieder. Hoffentlich ist das Terrassenzimmer wieder frei. - Das hochwertige Zimmer mit Terrasse war geräumig und wohnlich. Wir haben die Ruhe auf der Terrasse, von der aus man auf einen schön begrünten Gehweg am Fluss blickt, täglich sehr genossen. Der Mehrpreis hat sich bezahlt gemacht. Das ganze Haus ist charmant gestaltet, einschließlich der hübschen Gemeinschaftsräume. Wohltuend auch der Gratis-Kaffes und die Kräcker im 1. OG. Nette, fröhliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.

• Amélie (8/5): Bonne localisation - L’hôtel est très bien placé dans le quartier de china town. Le personnel est adorable. La literie est aussi très bonne ! La chambre est un peu petite ce qui ne laisse pas beaucoup de place pour les bagages. Il y a très peu de ventilation ce qui fait qu une odeur d’humidité reste.

• Frankie (7/5): Great location, small room that we couldn’t air out - Amazing location, great kitchen and sweet terrace area. Room was much smaller than we expected and was always quite humid and damp, we were never able to dry it out!
• Lauren (9/5): Excellent accomodation and great location. Not good if you don’t like noise. Would recommend to anyone staying in Singap - We absolutely loved our stay here. The property was very clean and was in the best location. Very close to many MRTs and also very walkable to marina bay. Only downside was there was a bar across the street that played music until midnight every night of our stay. Our room was directly outside this bar. We didn’t mind too much but if you were very sensitive to noise I don’t think it would be the best place to stay. It would be sensitive for the accommodation to provide earplugs as a compensation for this.

• Amanda (5/5): - location is good but loud i got there in the evening around 9pm and the front desk guy was not even there....i had to wait 10 minutes for him to come back to the front desk. Then the keys he gave me kept not working. the guy in the morning was really nice and i complained about the guy not being there at night and he was attentive but nothing he could do either. The rooms are fine, a bit small and they crammed everything in so you dont have much room to move around. Also there are two bars (one across the tiny road and one below). the one across the tiny road has a patio so everyone stands out there at night. they do not die down until probably 1am even on weekdays. The music turns down around 11 but the people are still chatting away. then at 5am the garbage truck rolls in which makes noise too. It's all around a very noisy hotel. if you want a quiet night sleep do not stay here.

The room doesn’t automatically come with hand towels, hand soap or face towels, however we requested these from reception and they were more than happy to send these up for us.

• Katie (8/5): Great location and a well-run hotel - Really good location. Helpful staff. Good facilities. The hotel also had a food guide and I tried out some of these and they were great! Minimal sound proofing. You could hear everything in the corridor outside the room and some noise through the walls. Unfortunately there were some disruptive guests staying at the same time (this may not be a problem at other times though). There were also guests sleeping in the communal sofa areas but the hotel had put up signs to prevent this sort of thing so they were trying their best.
• Dennis (7/5): Klein aber Fein - Das Hotel war insgesamt wirklich sehr cool und hatte einen modernen, angenehmen Vibe. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind die kostenlosen Extras wie Wasser und Snacks (Cracker und Waffeln) – das war eine tolle Aufmerksamkeit und hat den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Auch die Lage war ideal, vor allem durch die Nähe zu Chinatown, wodurch man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants schnell erreichen konnte. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war allerdings das Badezimmer, das etwas klein ausgefallen ist. Zudem war der Wasserhahn locker und wirkte, als könnte er fast abfallen. Leider hatte es bei unserer Ankunft kein Toilettenpapier, aber das gab man uns auf Anfrage an der Rezeption problemlos. Was wir uns noch gewünscht hätten, wäre eine Handseife im Bad, wir haben stattdessen Duschgel von der Dusch verwendet.

The location is fantastic for both wandering through vibrant streets and hopping on the metro for quick trips. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and cozy, nestled in a picturesque building that added to the charm of our stay. It was the perfect home base for our adventures in the city! The rooms are on the smaller side, which seems typical for Singapore, but the space is used efficiently. The bathroom, while functional, felt a bit dated and could use a fresh update to match the rest of the hotel’s charm. The hotel is situated on a lively street, which means there’s some noise until midnight. However, it becomes quiet after that, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs.

Shared kitchen with free water, coffee and snacks was a great touch. Check in was a bit awkward as receptionist did not acknowledge us for a while when we first arrived and was a bit difficult about us leaving bags while we waited for check in, but not a big deal, great stay overall.

• Matteo (4/5): Buona la posizione, ma molto scomodo in tutto il resto. - Posizione centrale Il bagno TROPPO piccolo. Un uomo di 1.83m x 90kg non si muove li dentro. Per alzarsi dal WC bisognava pregare per non dare una testata al muro. La doccia non ne parliamo. Tra l’altro la doccia ha una porta scorrevole che non scorre by design fino alla fine, quindi quel metro quadro di bagno è tutto allagato dopo la doccia. Il locale di fronte mette musica tutte le sere fino a mezzanotte, sappiatelo.

• Sarina (10/5): - Die Lage und Austattung des Zimmers. Die Küche, wo man Alles hat, was das Herz begehrt und das freundliche Personal. Rezeption ist 24 Stunden offen. Mein persönlicher Dank an HONG JUN, der meine vielen Postkarten entgegen nahm, so dass meine Liebsten zu Hause euch Teil sein können von meiner atemberaubenden Reise in Singapur. Alles war wunderschön.
