- AddieV_12 (8/5): First time in Hanoi - We stayed at Hanoi Fiesta Hotel & Spa twice during our trip to Vietnam, and overall had a really positive experience, largely thanks to the outstanding staff. We initially booked a 3 night stay directly with the hotel, followed by a return for 1 night after a cruise to Lan Ha Bay. As it was our first time visiting Vietnam, we chose to stay in the Old Quarter based on our research, and it turned out to be a great base for exploring Hanoi. Our booking included an offer of either a complimentary airport transfer or a Vietnamese meal. We opted for the airport transfer, and the hotel arranged everything seamlessly, our driver was waiting for us when we landed, which made arrival in a new country very easy and stress free. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with a cold drink and a very warm welcome. The staff throughout our stay were consistently friendly and helpful. For our first stay, we booked a Senior Suite with a king bed and Old Quarter view. The room, located on the 3rd floor, was spacious and modern, overlooking a very busy dual carriageway. As expected, it was quite noisy at times due to the traffic, but we still managed to sleep reasonably well. Breakfast was served early and finished at 9:30am. It was ok, though a little limited in choice, and the buffet/seating area was quite compact. One thing we really appreciated was that the hotel looked after our luggage while we went on our Lan Ha Bay cruise. For our return stay, we had booked a Junior Suite with an Old Quarter view and had asked if it might be possible to have a higher floor to reduce the noise. We were told the hotel was fully booked but that they would see what they could do, and we made it clear we were happy to keep our original room if needed, as it was only for one night. When we returned, we were once again warmly welcomed and told that the team had arranged for us to stay in one of their sister hotels instead, to accommodate our request for a quieter, higher floor room. They even organised and covered the cost of the taxi transfer, which was a thoughtful touch. The room we were given was indeed on the top floor, with a balcony and much quieter surroundings, so they clearly made a genuine effort to meet our request. However, the room itself was really small and in need of some refurbishment, and we struggled a bit with space for our luggage, we ended up moving a table out onto the balcony just to make room. In hindsight, we would probably have preferred to stay in our original hotel room, even on a lower floor, but as it was just for one night, it wasn’t a major issue. What really stood out throughout our stay was the exceptional service. The team at Hanoi Fiesta Hotel & Spa were fantastic, always welcoming, attentive, and eager to help. A mention goes to Andrea, Lan, and Duy, and a special shout out to Ruby, who was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made a real difference to our experience. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with genuinely wonderful staff, and a great choice for anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Funnily, I could book a room on booking.com but they were actually booked out. It wasn't a problem, because they brought her to another hotel they own, a much nicer one even, for that night. The next day they arranged for her to go back to the Fiesta, took care of her luggage. The only downside was that the first room she got in Fiesta, had mold, but it was not a problem to give her a good room. Overall she enjoyed her days there a lot. It’s not fancy or stylish but it is clean and comfortable and good value. The breakfast is good quality too. The woman at the front desk, Lucky, is exceptionally nice and helpful. We really liked her, and that’s the main thing we’ll remember about this hotel. It is next door to a blues bar that plays loud music until about 11:00 pm, and a highway that never really stops.

The location was perfect for us and we were able to walk most places. Every staff we interacted with here was incredibly helpful and willing to go out of their way to help out with anything. We had an issue with a tour company we had booked not showing up in the morning to pick us up for a trip to Halong bay. The front staff called them and worked it out for us. We are so grateful as this was the only day available for us to do the tour and we would have missed out. I wish I would have booked our tours through the hotel as I’m sure we would have had no issues. The breakfast on the rooftop was also really great. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

- Kelvin (10/5): It's about the people. - The most memorable thing about this hotel was how the front desk staff made us feel welcome during our short stay here in Vietnam. Some of them are enthusiastic to practice their English with you, and some of them are diligent to make our stay here as comfortable as possible. It is my first time staying in a boutique hotel, and the experience is wonderful. It is hard to describe what makes this hotel special, but take the time to see and feel the hearts of these people. They want you to have a good vacation here in Hanoi. The photo is the rooftop view during breakfast.

We complained the reception and were told the cleaners would be told - then it happened again a couple of days later, the cleaners would shout across the corridor to their colleagues, again waking us up as we'd already been woken through the night due to other people in the corridor coming home late. We could hear the neighbour's TV too - we called reception about 1am to ask them to tell the neighbours to be quiet, reception did tell them but nothing changed. Due to multiple complaints, the manager agreed to move us to the Grand hotel but this was much the same. I would avoid this hotel.

Will start with the Pros of the hotel, the staff is extremely polite and service orientated, esp the staff at the counter in the morning, super friendly. Their connecting rooms is good, it is 2 rooms but you can close the door at the corridor making it a huge personal space. the location is quite good, short walk to the lake and lots of eating space. They also have a left luggage service which we used as we check on on day 1 and back next day. The breakfast is rather average as compared to the other hotels we stayed earlier. So for the cons, note that they have another "sister" hotel further down which I had booked previously before being transfered to this, as had booked a tour had to ask our guide to help to inform the tour company due to change of address, could be quite panicky situation as we arrived at night. On the next day, our booked room was not available and had to settle for a smaller room but they did refund the cost but as it was only 1 night, we are ok with it and accepted.

The room was spotless, huge bed and everything we could want. We were at the front of the property and despite being able to hear the horns of vehicles and a lady speaking through a loudspeaker early in the morning, it didn't spoil our stay. Breakfast was good, always had something on to suit most tastes. Location is ideal, we were able to walk to the night markets, Bia street, and Train Street, tuk tuks and taxis are very frequent outside the hotel if needed. Overall a very nice hotel and perfect for our few nights here before moving on!

- SimonC5085 (10/5): Hanoi Hotel with the Best Staff in Viertnam! - I stayed for 5 nights, at a very good rate in the No1 Suite which is their only room with a balcony. Loved it, room was big enough, bed comfy, aircon great and bathroom fabulous. They had a great brekfast service avialble, and their airport shuttle service was seamless. It is situated in a perfect spot to hit the Old Quarter, French Area or further affield. During my stay I lost my phone, and this is where the staff shined. They were all so supportative and helpful in allowing me to use the hotel computer, and even Whatsapp on one of the staff members personal phones to sort things out. And the, the morning after, the manager arranged to have me taken me to a reputable phone store to get a second hand replacement! Wonderful, wonderful people. So for all these reason I reccomend this establish 110% and will definately return next I am in Hanoi.

All staff are very friendly and helpful like the family members to us, especially Mr. Hung and Hieu. They helped us solve all our problems anytime we talk to them. Such as because the rain so hard, we can't walk to Cafe Giảng just 2' away, he offered to give us the free drive; Mr. Hung took us to tour Tam Chuc and Dia Tang Phi Lai Tụ , the tour should be from 8 to 5:30 but he took us 1 more temple near there, chua Cay thi, (very beautiful), waiting for us until we finish to visit all Tam Chuc attractions and end the trip very late , almost 8pm without extra charges. Mr. Hieu has excellent SV in breakfast room. The shuttle price $12_18 / car from or to Airport is reasonable. Sure, we will come back here and strongly recommend anyone to stay here

She kept checking on us to ensure everything was to our comfort! The hotel is places at a perfect location which is walking distance to Ta Hien, but at the same time you get a peaceful sleep as the street downstairs is quiet. - Travelguy918 (2/5): WORST HOSPITALITY TREATMENT EVER (TYPHOON YAGI 07 SEPTEMBER BOOKING) - This hotel have the worst hospitality to a tourist ever. For my case I cannot come to the hotel in 7th september of 2024 (until 14 september 2024 bookings) due to the massive typhoon yagi and hanoi was closed in the dates of my booking. All of my flights and other hotels understand the situation and refunded my booking no problems (even tho all of my flights and hotels have no refund policy) except for this hotel who is badly managed by Linda Nguyen and her team who insisted for me to come for my bookings right after the typhoon have passed even tho most of hanoi is still flooded and the airport is closed on september 8. After some drama with agoda booking team they half heartedly give me 2 choice of either 50% refund or free reschedule. I choose for the free reschedule. And some how the agoda team and their booking partner messed up instead of confirming with me when I want the dates to be. They booked me on 8-15 october (because i ask them to check the availability on october) but my actual prefered dates were 14 to 21 october. Now the hotel is not honouring their initial offer of free reschedule and instead charge me 34.140.000 VND on top of 5.700.000 VND (my original booking) which doesnt make sense to begin with. Still stuck in this matter due to the hotel super slow response and ill will and service They lack empathy to understand I cannot control natural disaster

Always greeted us with a smile even when they were busy. The rooms were cleaned every day. The only thing I would say is that they do need a bit of a vacuum. The floors were pretty dusty. However they were a great size. I found that the beds were comfortable and the amenities provided were helpful. It was great to have breakfast there everyday, however some more vegetarian options could be provided but you won't go hungry if you are vegetarian. They also provide small bowls of Pho if you didn't want a big bowl that day. The location is fantastic. Really close to everything you could want to do in the Old Quarter. I would happily return in a heartbeat. This is not the hotel's fault but the hotel and the area are quite noisy. You can hear everything happening inside and outside the hotel. There are some ear plugs provided but if you're a light sleeper bring some ear plugs. Also there isn't really a Spa inside the hotel. You can get a massage inside your room, however if you want another service you have to go out to a spa that is affiliate with the hotel. The staff there will help you book the treatment though.

However, we believe even at full price, this is a nice hotel. The king-size bed was huge and so comfortable, with 4 wonderful pillows. Actually, this might have been the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. The room had plenty of space and was immaculately cleaned. It had a nice bathroom, a huge TV, nice lighting, and everything one could wish for. The staff was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and spoke good English. The breakfast buffet has some Vietnamese and Western options, and we also liked the view from the 8th floor. The hotel is located just on the edge of the Old Quarter, which worked very well for us. We travel low budget cycling around the world, and this was by far the most luxurious accommodation we've had in all of two years. We paid so much less than what we got. As we paid only about a third of what would probably be a normal rate we wouldn't dare to complain. However, if we would pay the full price, there is still room for improvement here and there, although on a high level. The fridge in the room could be a lot cooler (or stay on when one leaves the room). In the breakfast rooftop restaurant it can get quite warm on hot and sunny mornings.

- Deanna (10/5): Lovely rooms, lovely staff! - Very nice hotel, our room was a great size, extremely clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and hot water! We booked a sleeper bus from another location that unfortunately meant we had to check in at 4am, but the reception staff were very kind and helpful when we checked in at this time. On check out they helped arrange a taxi to the airport! Nothing we didn't like! wish we could have stayed longer!

- Lucas (10/5): Comfy and I would come back - The staff was very receptive and willing to help. The girl called Celine in the restaurant speaks English clearly and was helpful taking care of us by asking what we needed and bringing what we requested. I assume her major is in hospitality because we also work for hotels and she was doing more than what expected. There is nothing wrong I could notice in the 2 days my friends and I stayed in.
- Robert (8/5): OK for exploring Hanoi Old Quarter - Situated at the edge of the Old Quarter next to a busy road junction, but surprisingly quiet considering. Overly attentive front desk staff bordering on irritating. Room was modern and well-appointed, minibar fridge inefficient though. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, TV's there for decoration only (not connected to anything).

- Lynda (10/5): - Celina est la meilleure elle est partout au resto à la réception etc elle parle très bien anglais ce qui facilite grandement la communication elle nous a préparé un petit déjeuner pour apporter puisqu’on quittait très tôt et que le resto n’était pas encore ouvert personnel très serviable chambre confortable eau chaude très bien situé au cœur de la ville je recommande fortement 😁

From the welcoming reception to the helpful breakfast team, everyone is friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. Breakfast is a delightful mix of Vietnamese specialties, toast, fresh fruit, and eggs made just how you like them. The area can get a bit noisy with traffic, but with our earplugs on hand, we had no problem with it.
