Darlan Evandro (7/5): Vale pela localização, mas o barulho e alguns detalhes no quarto incomodam - Se você procura um hotel próximo a estação de metrô, o The Dixie é excelente. A estação Hollywood/Western fica ao lado do hotel e é excelente para se locomover. O hotel é relativamente bom, bem simples, mas cumpre o que promete. Escolhemos um quarto com 2 camas. Camas e travesseiros muito confortáveis, equipe de limpeza atenciosa. A equipe do hotel sempre foi prestativa e muito educada. Quando tivemos um problema com a água quente, prontamente nos realocaram para outro quarto próximo, o que facilitou bastante a mudança. O hotel também recebe compras da Amazon e tem máquina de café na recepção para fazer um cafézinho. Em frente ao hotel tem tipo um "centrinho" com supermercado Ralphs, Loja Ross, Norms (restaurante muito bom), tem um restaurante tailandês ao lado do hotel, Marshals bem próxima, então possui uma localização muito boa mesmo. No geral, tem um custo-benefício OK. No primeiro quarto, havia um cheiro bem forte (como se estivesse fechado há muito tempo), o que incomodou no início, apesar de termos nos acostumado depois. Já no segundo quarto, o cheiro não existia, mas o exaustor do banheiro fazia um barulho muito alto. Além disso, o hotel fica na Hollywood Boulevard, que é uma rua com MUITO movimento. Isso gera bastante barulho de sirenes, trânsito e até carros com música alta. Dependendo da localização do quarto, isso pode incomodar bastante, no nosso caso, dava para ouvir bastante. Outro ponto foi o barulho de outros hóspedes. Como os quartos ficam no térreo e no primeiro andar, ouvimos frequentemente pessoas passando, conversando alto e fazendo barulho ao caminhar. Para quem passa o dia todo fora, isso pode não atrapalhar tanto, mas no geral, tivemos bastante ruído durante a estadia.

Aucun contrôle de l’agent de sécurité de se qui se passe dans l’hôtel (voitures on et musique très forte en pleine nuit). Impossible d’avoir deux clés de chambre pour un groupe de 4. Parking payant 25$ par nuit. Piscine pas chauffée donc inutilisable à cette période (avril).

The AC unit was difficult to operate. And the first floor sounded hallow like it wasn't directly on the concrete. Daughter kept jumping because of the noise it made.

I will admit, walls seem pretty thin but other than that it’s one of the better hotels for that value in LA. Only draw back is that they charge for keeping your car parked in their lot overnight? That was a first. I almost cancelled my stay while checking in because no hotel has ever done that before. That’s something they need to get rid of immediately because charging your guests an additional fee to leave the car parked overnight is ridiculous and not customer friendly. It’s almost like you’re telling your already paying guests to find somewhere else next time. Anyways, like i said. Hotel and staff is nice. However, that overnight parking fee is terrible and needs to be removed immediately.

Celina (9/5): Overall great stay, I would highly recommend! - Amazing hotel, very close to the metro and bus, walkable distance to Walk of Fame and Griffith Observatory (longer walk). Very nice staff, the room was great as well! The room was on the ground level and the doors had a little gap so for the first night I couldn’t sleep, because I was afraid someone might want to go inside. The blinds were hard to shut completely so even at night the room was not totally dark, as there were no curtains.

227doms (4/5): Strong armed for my $100 Sec. deposit - My stain was pleasant had no problem until after checkout when I called to inquire as to where my deposit was since it hadn't been returned yet and I know that I left the room as I found it. Whoever answered the phone told me that there was a report of smoking in the room which I know I didn't do and they were going to keep my $100. Wouldn't give me any explanation or reason for the withholding of my deposit just that I'd get an email and to respond to that. I think I've already overpaid for the few hours that I stayed there plus an extra $55 for early check-in. Then they win a strong Army for an extra $100 with no cause. Not a happy camper
Richard (6/5): Was very disappointed with parking fees. Ruined a nice visit. - Location Paying for parking!Because I extended my stay one night they charged me $25 dollars again. I paid $50 dollars for parking. That was my 3rd stay there, no more.
Shane (9/5): Overall was impressed, security were present so you felt safe. They were also quite helpful. - Location was good walking distance to most sites. Food eaterys all around. Pool on site was great. Had to pay for parking on site, which i found odd and unreasonable.
