• X5316BZnaomih (8/5): Great Customer Service, Just Wish it was Quieter - I've stayed here a lot recently. It's a comfortable hotel with great customer service. Some names stand out, such as Fatima and Gifty on the reception, who are both friendly and conversational. Sanjiv, who came to fix my radiator and fridge when they didn't work, was also very friendly. The rooms are very small, but generally provided with flannels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, as well as a Nespresso-type coffee machine and tea, etc. My most recent stay has lacked some of these things, but I think that's a one off. The biggest issue for me as a light sleeper is the noise. The front rooms are very noisy because of traffic (often police car sirens) on the main road. The back rooms are quieter, but the extractor fan in the bathroom runs all night in all rooms (my trick is to place a couple of facial tissues against it to mute the noise) and external fans outside the windows make constant noise. Fatima was kind enough to show me alternative rooms so I could find the quietest, but it is still something you have to accept as the windows aren't soundproofed. The breakfast buffet is good, with a fair selection, though only scrambled eggs are offered. I believe you can request boiled eggs. In the restaurant, the food isn't so great. I stayed for more than a week and have tried most of the menu because my food was prepaid. Very few things I would try again out of choice and the meat tends to be dry. The deserts are also lacking, apart from the chocolate and raspberry tart. The restaurant and bar service staff are lovely and always smiling. The location is excellent, with Ealing Common station less than 5 mins away and Ealing Broadway only a little further. The hotel is always clean and the room service staff are attentive. Overall, I can't fault the service or amenities. I just wish it was quieter, but that's no fault of those who work here.

The breakfast had many choices, and most selections were tasty. The road noise in the room was uncomfortably loud. I checked twice to see if the windows was open; it was not. The bathroom is quite small and narrow.
• Trundler77 (10/5): Home from home - We are regular visitors to the Doubletree and do see it as home from home! This was our first trip of the year and the high standard of service was evident. I can’t praise the staff enough for their warm welcomes, helpfulness and going the extra mile in ensuring our stay was welcome. Kudos as always to Suzanna, Kwaye, Hawa, Maggie for all that they do. I was given the Roma 502 on the fifth floor over looking for car park and it was very quiet. The restaurant was very good and everybody had excellent manners to serve food and help. The bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

• GEORGIOS (1/5): Disappointing Service Despite a Great Location - The hotel is in a great location, which was definitely a positive. However, the overall experience was disappointing. I booked a queen suite for three adults, but what we received was a double bed with a portable bed placed next to the toilet. This was not a proper three-person room and did not meet expectations. During checkout, I was also incorrectly invoiced and had to return to the hotel to ask about the extra charges. I was then told to call back the next day because the accounting department was closed due to the Bank Holiday. Overall, the service was not what I would expect from such a well-known brand.

We had a 3night stay in April when the London Marathon and both FA Cup semi finals at Wembley were on resulting in an ecliptic mix of guests. The staff in this hotel were very helpful, friendly and very very efficient in everything they did. It has a large car park at the rear which is £14.60 for a 24 hr period which is pretty good for London or anywhere nowadays. (let hotel know when booking) huge walk in shower with rainfall shower head, each room has a 55” Samsung tv on the wall. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with plenty of choice, scrambled egg is already on the counter, poached or fried on order along with omelettes if required. There was a wedding reception during our stay and we didn’t hear a thing, we never heard the traffic either so it has very good soundproofing alround. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we will return when required. The nearest tube station is Ealing Common and a 2/3 minute walk from the hotel and will take you into central Londons tourist places without a change of line. Public areas are a plenty so no problem finding a seat or table to socialise with friends and family. Highly recommend👍

• Dave Connolly (9/5): overall , a very good stay , will definitely return - I had upgraded my room a few days prior to checking in . the room was spacious , the bed was comfortable , good storage space and the shower was powerful , room was quiet with no outside noise . there was a very good range of food for the breakfast the heater/air con in the room was a bit tempermental and noisy , it was either very warm or got a bit chilly even though the thermostat temperature was the same

Easy access by road to A40. Not a lot of choice for gluten free despite being told there was a full range. Surprised that Thai and Indian options on the menu contained gluten - they don't in my local restaurants. No gluten free sausages for breakfast. A small thing, but have had a much better range at budget hotels.

Your hard work and dedication in making my stay pleasant is a testament to the quality of the whole team. Also the food on the new menu is delicious. My favourite by far is the prawn curry and hope it moves from the chef’s special to the main menu.

Our service by the hotel was excellent! All staff were so very helpful. Our Events Manager was professional, thoughtful, kind and very helpful at all times. She kept in contact with me from start to finish. The service we received on the day, was perfect. A really lovely day with no stress!!!

It was very clean, staff extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble from arrival with a friendly face to departure, again polite and helpful. Food for breakfast was as good as it gets. The bar staff were happy and smiling. Very convenient for the train straight into London (300 yards) via the Piccadilly line, 25 minutes (10 stops) and £6 all day Didn’t use the gym but saw it was well set out with plenty of kit! Will defo stay here again.

Am Abend mussten wir etwa halbe Stunde warten, bis das geklärt war und wir einchecken durften. Auch beim Abendessen gab es Probleme: Trotz gebuchter Halbpension sollten wir erneut bezahlen. Wir wurden sogar gebeten, während das Essens aufzustehen und die Situation selbst mit der Rezeption zu klären. Das war sehr ärgerlich und enttäuschend.

The bed is one of the best I have tried, the rooms are quiet. Cleaning could be improved a bit, the coffee machine was not emptied for 2 days and the bathroom should be cleaned better.
