- Kerry (10/5): - The room was very good, had everything you need. Including being able to cook if you wanted, but who wants to cook. The location is excellent, you are 2 blocks away from Monistiraki station, and there are hundreds of restaurants all around the area. And the food, all delicious! You are within easy walking distance to a lot of the major attractions like the Acropolis, Panathenaic stadium. The staff were very helpful. And don't forget to go to the rooftop with a bottle of wine and enjoy the end of the day with a beautiful view of the Acropolis!! Highly recommend this place
- Cathy (8/5): - This unit is in a great location - walkable, lots of places to eat and easy access to key sites. The staff were great! My only complaint is that the kitchen was not stcoked with any ingrediants - no oil, salt and pepper, sugar, etc.
- Gemma (10/5): - Loved having my own small kitchen area. The roof view during the day is amazing and beautiful at night when the Acropolis is lit up. Staff helpful when I was unable to open the lockbox for the key card. Felt very secure as a solo traveler with all the locked doors.

- Jeff (6/5): - ToStayLoft, is fantastic located. Central, lots of shopping, restaurants, and tourist attraction. The unit it self is good size (there were three of us). It’s a Airbnb style so no daily cleaning nor new towels/sheets. We stayed 3 nights 2 days so not a big deal. If you stay longer it might be an inconvenience. The unit is clean and designed nicely, but the shower heads do not work well. The TV remote also gave us problem. The volume does not work and had to watch with loud volume.
- G (10/5): Comfortable stay - Apollon apartment - We stayed in the apartment "Apollon", on the first floor, it was a one bedroom that slept 3 (convenient room, close to elevator and stairs (which you need your key card to get in). It was great space for us (with a 5 year old, who had great sleep on the sofa bed). It was nice and close to everything! Thought it is on the first floor, you cannot hear anything from the outside. There is AC in the bedroom and living room, amazing as we went there in July, and it cooled the rooms fast. There is a flight of stairs when you go in, but an elevator at the top. The receptionists were all super friendly and helpful! We got instructions for the apartment days before we had checked-in and had no problem with entering the codes needed. It was pretty seamless. Our rooms were available before the 3pm check-in time. When we got back from our cruise, they kept our bags for us and messaged when the room was ready! Overall, I would book here again. We stayed there for 3 nights before our cruise and one night after (same room).
- Laurell (8/5): Great for solo, average height or shorter people. - I booked last minute for 1 short night everything went well everything is just very tight. Toilet had very tight space to be used. It’s very minimum but works well for solo traveler. Not good for taller or heavier people that’s for sure
- KENNY (8/5): - Good, affordable room in a relatively convenient location with good transport links. The rooftop view of the Parthenon is a bonus especially at night. While the area is safe, it's certainly not upmarket (sewer smell), but the trendy bars and restaurants nearby will appeal to younger (18+) travellers.

- Erin (10/5): - toStay Loft exceeded my expectations! I just wanted something in a walkable area to all the main attractions in Athens that didn't break the bank. This place was excellent and I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in Athens. The view of the Acropolis from the Rooftop Patio is unreal! I would book this place for that view alone; I knew they had a view from the listing, but did not realize how amazing that view actually would be! Breathtaking! And both nights that I was up there it wasn't crowded at all, since it's a boutique hotel, you don't have a bunch of other guests around. The room was spacious, with the exception of the bathroom, which I find in most European hotels, so it was fine for me. I like that it had a mini kitchen, although I didn't use much but the refrigerator. The place was just very convenient and comfortable for my couple of nights in Athens. Self check-in after hours was easy and the communication with the hotel staff was fast and excellent. Also, as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe in the area and even walking around after dark. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Athens!

Finalement, le self check In était super clair et très efficace! Je recommande fortement ce logement!

- avihis (2/5): Extremely Disappointing Stay – Basic Needs Not Met - We booked a two-room apartment for six days, for four adults and a baby. Upon arrival, we were told that there was no water in the apartment, but that the issue was being handled. The only solution offered was to use the shower in a different apartment — but only at certain times and only when it was available. Each time, we had to return the apartment card again. In reality, we spent half of our vacation like this — without water in our own apartment. The baby didn’t shower at all! It’s unbelievable that such a basic necessity was not available during our stay. Additionally, the apartment was extremely cramped — especially the bathroom and shower, where it was nearly impossible to move. The space felt nothing like what was advertised. On top of all that, there was loud noise coming from the street until late at night, making it very difficult to rest or sleep. This experience was completely disappointing and far from what we expected or paid for
- Franziska (10/5): - A warm welcome and the place was great! So close to Monastiraki square and restaurants etc plus a short stroll to Plaka and the Acropolis too. The view from the shared roof garden is wonderful too.

- Agustin (8/5): - The property was not what I was expecting. However, it was very close to the center of the city. The room was not that clean, and the bathroom toilet and shower needed some maintenance. Also during the night time, you can hear the whole street, good luck if you're a light sleeper. Overall the staff was very nice and I would recommend this property if you want to stay really close to the city and if you’re not trying to spend a lot.

- Begoña (8/5): Near Spirit Square - The best of this apartment is that is new and modern, and the location near the center, and Spirit square Quite noisy if you are in the first floor because of the metal door to enter. They forget to send me instructions for the access on my arrival to the appartament, but a nice and helpful lady was at the recepción to open the door nd explain me all the procedure (because I arrived at office hours).
- Rebecca Anne (10/5): - Poly - the one bed apartment - was perfect for my stay. I stayed for 3 nights and had everything I needed. Super close to the Metro station so easily to get to from the airport as a solo traveller. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Only downside is noise. The walls/doors are extremely thin so other guests checking out/moving around the building can wake you up. Poly is also next to the stairs to the terrace so people adventuring up the roof can be fairly noisy but it is tolerable. Overall I had a great stay and will be recommending. If I’m ever back, I will be looking to stay here again!

No one cleans the roomsi wish they provide sweepwe dust pan and floor mops for ua to clean. Other than that, zhe stay is wonderful. very close to sites grocery and restaurants. thank you to the all the front desk

- michaelt238874Y (8/5): Apartments in a Bohemian section of Athens - We had recently spent one night at the ToStay Loft Athens. The hotel is a skinny block of apartments in a narrow alley filled with graffitis on the walls. Prior to arrival we were given a long list of instructions eg how to enter the main gate, where to get the key, how to operate the very, very small lift, and items in the apartment etc. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the third floor. Space wise it’s good for two people. There’s a galley style pantry, shower room, small living room and a bedroom. The immediate surroundings are full of cafes and restaurants, which is a big plus. We had lunch at En lordani, a traditional Greek tavern. The main problem I faced is the wifi speed, which I find very slow. I could not log in to my emails during my stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a comfortable night at the ToStay Loft Athens.

- Lee (10/5): - We were a little concerned when we first walked down the street to the property as narrow streets with lots of graffiti and the door to enter the property was not very attractive. Once inside the hallway was dark. The apartment however was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Elvis in the office in the evenings was very helpful and friendly and gave us a good suggestion for a dinner out. We would have never gone the direction he suggested and were pleasantly surprised when after a short walk we came across a very upscale area of restaurants and stores. In addition to his recommendation we also appreciated the location of the property to the square and the metro station as well as pharmacy and grocery store. we can't remember the name of the lady in the office during the day. She was very nice also. Wish the cubbies where we retrieved our keys had digital pass code rather than the manual number locks where you had to spin the numbers.

- Alice (8/5): Athens one night - Check in was smooth if you read all the instructions beforehand as we went to apartment 7 vs 9. Otherwise once you find the building it’s super clear. The apartment is very well located and super clean. Remember to use the hotel room card to enter the escalator up.
- Anna (2/5): - Travellers BEWARE - this listing is VERY deceptive. It was clear from our welcome email that the property was not as it seemed. The elevator was barely big enough to fit one person and their suitcase, let alone 2 people, making a higher floor stay incredibly difficult. As we entered our room, we learned that our water heater would have to be turned on before every shower - and upon usage we quickly found out that it was lukewarm for only 5 minutes. The glasses in our room were still dirty, and our sheets were stained. We reported our concerns to the building attendant and were quickly (and rudely) shut down for help. The sheets were blamed on housekeeping, and in the four days we were there, housekeeping did not come once to replace them. The water heater was blamed on us, when we were following instructions. The staff refused to so much as greet us at entry after we complained, and while the building was claimed to be smoke free, we frequently were hit with cigarette smoke from the building attendants leaning out the front window. While the area it was in was wonderful to walk through, I cannot recommend this hotel less.

No blanket and our bathroom door had a sign not to close it. That should be fixed. Could be akward for some people sharing the room.

Didn’t love that we were told not to put any toilet paper in the toilet/ had to throw in a small garbage can. Also, need to press button to heat water 30 minutes before showering. The location is amazing! Walking distance to so many places. Affordable . Overall , we had a good stay.

The location is what originally made me come: the building is right in the city center and you can walk to all of the big sites and museums, plus there’s a metro station a few blocks away too. I also loved sitting on the rooftop to look at the acropolis! The staff was very helpful and communicative from before I checked in to after I checked out. Great for the Athens first-timers like myself!

Check-in was simple, good communication and someone at the reception office during the day if any questions. Everything was as advertised and all facilities as described and working. Bed was comfortable.
- Melissa (10/5): - Loved staying at this property. We have stayed in higher end hotels further out of the city; however, we really enjoyed staying in the heart of Athens! Check-in was easy and communication with the property was clear and helpful. They were highly responsive. We did appreciate that are 2 locked door to pass before you can access the apartments. We felt very safe in the area and often returned late in the evening/early in the morning. Everything is in walking distance and there is a mini market very close by. The metro is about a 3 minute walk and can bring you to and from the airport with ease. We tried to sleep with the windows open; however, you can certainly hear the Athen's night life bustling- even at 3:00am! No worries, we just closed the windows and used the air conditioner. We would certainly stay here again.

- Kristin (8/5): Athens - Great location, but be prepared its above 2 restarunts that stay open very late. Well stocked kitchenette if you need it. Nice roof top balcony with a great view of the acropolis. Good size room for 2 people. There is a small set of stairs to the small elevator that will only hold 2 persons or 1 person and 2 suitcases. Persons with mobility issues would have problems. Staff were friendly and kept us informed via email.

Room was moderately clean, however they do not provide daily housekeeping like it says on the website and the bed was pretty uncomfortable and only had sheets, no blanket, just a stained duvet with no cover to use.

The mattress covers were stained and there was a bug casing on one of the mattresses. It was horrible. More hostel than hotel. Would not recommend.

- david (10/5): - My tiny apartment was clean , everything I needed was there. Mine I think was for one person only . (Polos ) . First entry was stressful, as had to follow emailed instructions , however they were clear and after that everything was easy . In the apartment one also has to follow instructions for heat and hot water , again all clear after you are used to it , I stayed a week and I would again , but next time I would pay extra to have this tiny space cleaned in between . There is a open roof terrace and reception during the day , but you still need to use keypad to enter building regardless of time . One minute to monasteraki station , many shops around , and restaurants. The location is very central to everything yet in the apartment was calm .

- Jessica (8/5): - PROS: location (proximity to major sites and Metro/central), lovely terrace, comfy couch, heat is excellent, staff is approachable/nice, lots of outlets throughout the space, great security (multiple codes & doors to enter space) CONS--for some: *right next to bars/restaurants that play music quite literally all night (weekends it did not stop until 5 am), I could hear it through closed windows, white noise app, AND ear plugs -- I have stayed in the neighborhood previously, about 3 minute walk away, and it was silent at night there so this was unexpected and inconvenient *the internet was okay (slowed down during my stay, went out several times), luckily I wasn't working but it would have been hard if I had been . . . *no cleaning provided despite an 8 day stay, it would have been nice to have had at least a trash pick-up *shower did not have a good seal so the floor got very wet and slippery--if you want extra towels to help, it's a charge (according to the sign in your room)

We found the location very convenient - both in terms of proximity to tourist sites as well as convenience for eating out / nightlife. The studio itself is roomy and very clean - we felt at home. The team was helpful in keeping our bags for our last day.

The good: Very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped, spacious, walking distance to train station, attractions and restaurants and bars, good communication, friendly staff, lovely view of Acropolis from the roof terrace, easy to get to with the train from the airport. Very good air conditioning. The bad: The Apollon room is not to reccomend because of noise. There is a gate right next to the bedroom which slams almost constantly. This is probably not problematic for the other rooms. Hip, lively neighborhood might not be for everyone, I found it charming. We were awoken early due to construction noise which continued all day. No private balcony. Overall I would recommend this hotel but would request a different room not adjacent to the entrance gate.

Be prepared to wait 30mins to take a hot shower as you have to click a button to start the water heater and even then the hot water only lasts 5 mins and then turns freezing cold. (No Bueno in the Winter) But the property was clean, the receptionists were friendly and the communication prior to arrival and during the stay was clear.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a great little boutique hotel! Location won't be for everyone. It's in an up and coming neighborhood that looks a little gritty and has very lively nightlife. If you are looking for a sort quiet place it may not be for you, but for me and my friends it was great because it was very close to major tourist attractions, metro station and great restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel itself is set up as a small apartment building in excellent condition and very clean. The staff are great providing great communication before and during our stay and providing great suggestions on how to enjoy our stay in the neighborhood and Athens overall. Price point was very good as well. Very happy with my stay here

- Natasha (10/5): Fabulous Stay! Great Location! - Location was perfect, room was super clean and modern, rooftop was lovely. It’s a self check-in, Airbnb style. Although it’s not a hotel with staff there is someone downstairs available most of the day. This accommodation was perfect for us and would go back! It’s literally 2 min from the square, however you are on a back street that seems very hip and young, which we loved, but twice we had dodgy drunk people sitting on the step blocking the entrance. We’re from a big busy city so we weren’t too bothered, but I’m sure it would make others uncomfortable. They do have security procedures in place to enter the door and elevators to prevent random people off the street from coming in. We would highly recommend staying here!
