- Tara (8/5): - Beautiful hotel that was very accommodating and the people working were friendly. Two big issues that I had: we saw a mouse on the first floor on two separate occasions. One was in the lobby waiting area and the other was during our dinner at Casa Tua. More importantly, I proposed to my fiancé during our stay and requested a bottle of champagne and flowers to be placed in the room for the proposal. They knew in advance of our stay and were reminded the first day we arrived, which they said would be their pleasure to accommodate. To my surprise, all they did was tie a couple of party store balloons to our headboard. No flowers and no champagne. That was very disappointing as I expected much more from an elite 5 star hotel charging over $1200 EU per night. Ultimately, it was a really nice hotel, but I will always be disheartened by how they handled our engagement.
