Important Information

The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. A 1.85% credit card surcharge for credit cards is applicable for all credit card transactions. We require a credit card pre-authorization or a prepayment of the full accommodations amount plus AU$145 per night for incidentals, for a guest to be able to check in to the hotel. Guests who book breakfast-inclusive rate plans will receive breakfast for 2 adults and up to 2 children aged 5 and younger. Additional children under age 5 and children 6-11 years old will receive 50% off the adult breakfast price. Please note over New Years a nonrefundable, nontransferable pre-payment is required. Floor allocations will depend on the room type and date of arrival. Guests cannot request a specific floor during this time. When booking 9 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. The valet parking fee is AUD 135 per day for vehicles over 82.6 inches (6.9 feet) high. Please note that Rollaway beds over NYE will be charged at $550 per night and $900 for Horizon Club Rooms and all Suites ( requests must be made in advance, at the time of booking, and are subject to availability ). Operating hours for Altitude Restaurant and Blu Bar on Level 36 may vary during the Festive Season and on Public Holidays. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

To be honest, i felt really judged by the front reception staff- one in particular. I almost felt they didnt think we were good enough to stay there. We constantly got looked at whilst walking through the foyer to the lift like we shouldnt he inside there and had to show our room key. Iy was a quite embarrassing. Ive never felt that way before in a hotel

Great bathroom size with bath, nice shower and amenities. The place is very nice. Behind the bed was not vaccum properly. There are dust and plastic biscuit wrapper left there i don't know how long. The bubbles from the bath after was drained was coming out through under the bathroom floor drainage.

Sandy (8/5): Lovely hotel with issues. - Location and beautiful view from room. Room was big and had everything you needed. The Altitude Restaurant is very good with exceptional food and stunning views! The connecting door whilst locked was not sound proofed and unfortunately we had very noisy neighbours. We did bring it to their attention and we were moved to another room with no connecting door but sleep was bad for 2 nights due to noisy neighbours. Also we had to queue for breakfast one day for 15 mins which you don’t except in a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was buffet which I personally hate and was not expecting. Breakfast staff were sullen verging on rude. One morning the maitre’d didn’t hear our room number correctly and argued with us for quite a long period that our room rate did not include breakfast until my wife realised she was checking the wrong room number. For the money the service was lacking.

MASARU (10/5): また泊まりたい。 - フロントスタッフや朝食会場のスタッフがとても親切だった。日本人スタッフの方が丁寧に朝食の食材について説明してくれより美味しく食べられた。ダーリングハーバービューの景色がとても良かった。窓際に座れるようになっており、朝の虹や夕日をゆっくり楽しめた。立地も良く観光するのに便利だった。坂の上にある為、スーツケースを運ぶのは大変だと思うがUberを使ったので気にならなかった。

Nice breakfast On arrival in our room, a comb covered in black hairs was next to the basin and the hairdryer was plugged in for use. The afternoon tea in the horizon club was very disappointing with almost no choice and nothing savoury at all. Mostly just a few donuts left over from breakfast along with some scones. The food in the Altitude restaurant was very disappointing. Overpriced for minimal meat and proteins in the meal including the moreton bay bug dish. The bread was dry and did not seem fresh. The oysters were not plump and seemed limp. They were given without lemons, even though there was a vinaigrette (with far too much onion in it). The finger limes present would have been better with the pearls removed from the skins and presented ready to use, even in a vinaigrette.

Duane (7/5): love this hotel - We have stayed at this hotel prior and absolutely loved it The front desk service is exceptional We were out until 230pm and when we returned our room hadn't been attended to. We called and asked for this to be completed. only 2hrs later this was completed and we were going out again

troy (10/5): Amazing views - Bed was very comfortable, view was amazing. Istead of 2 study areas there should be a 2 seater lounge for both guests to enjoy the view. No use sitting on window sill with your back to the view.

Wendy (10/5): It’s the second time we’ve stayed at Shangri-La. It’s wonderful to stay - ABreakfast was delicious and hot. The service was amazing, we were met with a lovely smile and a good morning and then taken to our table. Lovely staff. Absolutely nothing
