The entire stay was seamless, stylish, and filled with genuine Thai warmth. A Bar Rooftop An absolute gem! The rooftop bar offers panoramic city views, creative cocktails, and a chic yet relaxed vibe. The team are attentive and friendly, making it the perfect place to unwind as the sun sets over Bangkok. Breakfast buffet Truly exceptional — you’ll find anything and everything you could wish for at breakfast. A big shout‑out to Chef Stephen and Constantine, who kept everything running smoothly with smiles and friendly words. The cooks at every live station were working hard yet still took time to offer a warm Thai welcome. Special mention to Khun Krong, who took wonderful care of us and all her guests. Front desk and reception Thank you to Khun Sky, who kindly gave us a late checkout. Small touches like that make all the difference and show real attention to guest comfort. Rooms Spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. Large bathrooms, excellent amenities, and reliable Wi‑Fi. The only small drawback — iPhones can’t pair with the in‑room smart TVs. If that ever changes, or if Netflix access is added, it would make relaxation on a rainy day perfect. Lobby and public spaces Beautifully designed with sparkling crystal chandeliers, elegant décor, and plenty of comfortable armchairs and coffee tables — a lovely place to enjoy a drink or quiet chat. Concierge Outstanding service once again. The team swiftly helped us resolve an issue with a Grab driver who refused to take our suitcases. Their calm and professional manner turned a stressful moment into a positive one. Location Right in the centre of Bangkok, just a five‑minute walk to the BTS Skytrain and surrounded by excellent shopping malls, restaurants, and local attractions. Final thoughts We’ll definitely be returning to the Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and world‑class Thai hospitality.

Goji restaurant where the breakfast buffet is served is MASSIVE with so many food stations to cater to anyone’s tastes, including vegetarian. The bedroom was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The Marriott Club Lounge was also large and provided well stocked breakfast and cocktails. The Hotel is close proximity to 3 malls, one of which houses IKEA.

The room was very clean, of good size but could do with some upgrading. Breakfast was great with everything you could wish for. The club lounge is great with good food and drinks and the staff is very nice. Every one of them was so kind and helpful, but I would especially mention Mild, Parfun and Toddy who gave us excellent service.

The hotel itself is 5 star with a great down stairs bar with fine music. We had 4 drinks all cocktails or spirits for $68Aus. Real value. Rooftop toilet is unquote with a great view and some the most interesting features of a gents. Last bit up to roof is stairs though there is a disabled lift unlike Novotel.
- piedep (6/5): Don’t expect it to be cozy - This large hotel has two towers (North and South) and is designed to handle a high volume of guests. Every day we had to queue for breakfast, and we were usually seated in a connected meeting-room-like space where the air conditioning created an uncomfortably cold draft. That said, the breakfast selection was good. The lobby is huge, and there is often queuing at the front desks as well. The rooms are very comfortable, and the hotel has a large gym and a beautiful rooftop bar, but the pool area could be improved. Overall, the price-quality ratio is fair, but I wouldn’t choose this hotel if you’re looking for a warmer or more romantic place to stay. The Marriott group has better options in the city. Finally, the staff are helpful and friendly.

- Delfi20 (4/5): Bad service - This is my second time coming to this hotel as the location is very convenient - there is subway station not far from it and it takes around 30min to get there from the airport.However, the service is very bad, it almost looks like ppl think they just need to smile, no need to listen to the guest or try to help. No-one at the reception acknowledged my Bonvoy membership level. The room was ok, but AC was very noisy, so I asked for room change - I called twice only to hear that they will call me later, the third time they told me that the room is ready and somebody will come up to my room to pick me up. No-one came.. so I went to the reception and needed to explain the whole situation for the 4th time, like there were no communication at all about the room change. Eventually they gave me the room key, but haven't told me that I need to go to another building to find a new room. At the end, this time I'm sure I will never come back to this hotel

- vansk2016 (4/5): Not a 5 star hotel - We stayed at Marriott Marquis Queens Park for 6 nights. We had to move rooms 3 times. The first room had badly scratched floor boards, bedroom rug all worn out damaged, shower not cleaned properly, had brown mould marks around. Shower flooded, we reported incident, staff attended our room left shower floor dirty. We showered and same problem again. Loose electrical wires behind bathroom mirror. A piece of plastic underneath bathroom vanity for 3 days from previous guest. Clothes cupboard back wall significant stains. We were moved to a suite, on our last day my wife fell ill with gastro and vomiting, hotel staff made us move room for 1 night as we had to extend our stay as we were unable to travel due to my wife being ill. No compassion was shown from hotel staff. The third room we were given same issue shower flooded again this indicates a systemic issue rather than an isolated issue. The M Lounge not worth it, we are Platinum members, long lines, not enough staff at reception, poor communication between staff. The food is poor quality, not much food given. Every Tom Dick and Harry can access Lounge as it's been given as an option on room rates as an additional charge. As Platinum members we felt devaluated guests. We had to move rooms, we rang reception twice nobody came, we were forced to go to reception ourselves to grab new room key as we had spa appointment, we moved room ourselves. Hotel seems too big and not enough staff to cater for the amount of guests. Reception there isn't enough staff to service guests.

The experience started on a high note with a seamless airport pickup in a Mercedes Benz and a quick check-in process. The rooms were spacious, immaculate, well-appointed, and comfortable. Special mention to Sui and Kayne — the staff who were friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast buffet at Goji Kitchen + Bar was definitely a highlight — diverse spread, tasty food offering, variety of drink options and delightful desserts! The buffet here is among the best we have ever experienced throughout our 24-day stay in Thailand, with an impressive variety of high-quality dishes, fresh ingredients, and a wide selection of both international and Asian options. The wait staff was attentive in catering for our needs which truly added a personal touch. Special mention here for Tata. The Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park perfectly combines luxury, elegance, comfort, and heartfelt service. We highly recommend this hotel and very much look forward to returning in the future. - Mzd7 (10/5): Good choice - We stayed 3 nights end of December. The hotel is very grand … very well located within easy walking distance to many malls and the tram stop .. The hotel is very lush , you can sense the hotel is a 5 star one . We booked the one bedroom suite , and because of my status , they gave me an upgrade with a connecting twin room. This gave us a huge apartment like size feel well worth the price We didn’t spend much time enjoying the hotel facilities as we were out most of the time . We had access to the M lounge , but this is very limited in what they offer . The standard drinks / coffee , and some limited snacks My only negative was the breakfast . The area is very large with lots of selections for breakfast. However , perhaps due to the December crowd , the place felt crowded and very busy. We felt we had to fight queues and people to get access to food . Perhaps in a quieter time it would be better ? Overall , good choice hotel

- xxchienxx (4/5): Marriott Marquis? More like Courtyard Marquis - I typically choose Marriott properties like The Athenee or the W Bangkok because they offer functional facilities for fitness. Unfortunately, my experience at the Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park has highlighted a significant structural capacity failure that makes it difficult to recommend for anyone who actually likes to swim, particularly during the busiest period of the year. Let’s look at the math of this property’s infrastructure. The hotel has 1,388 rooms. Even using a conservative 'base' calculation of only 2 adults per room (ignoring families, kids, and extra beds), you have 2,776 guests. Based on the physical dimensions of the pool on Level 9, it cannot functionally handle even 1% of the guest capacity. 1% of your guests is ~28 adults. If 28 adults entered that pool simultaneously, it would be a safety hazard, not a swimming facility. In reality, just 4 children in the water render the pool unusable for exercise. The pool is a decorative water feature at best, not a 5-star amenity. The W and this Marquis have similar pool sizes, but the Marquis is 3x larger. At the W, the pool is open 24 hours, creating a 'pressure valve' window for fitness swimmers after families head to dinner. The Marquis closes at 8:00 PM, forcing nearly 3,000 potential guests into a peak-hour bottleneck. Management’s 'special case' solution was to offer me a shuttle to a Marriott Executive Apartment nearby. Their idea of 5-star service is for me to pack a bag daily, sit in Bangkok traffic, swim at a different hotel, and shuttle back. I paid for the convenience of on-site amenities, not a cross-town commute. I now know why there are no bathtubs in the rooms; you’ve consolidated that into one giant, communal bathtub on Level 9. For a traveler who relies on overseas trips as a rare window for health and fitness, having this amenity 'blocked' by poor operational hours is infuriating. To be fair, Goji Kitchen is excellent. The breakfast spread outperforms the W and The Athenee in variety and quality. However, a good omelet does not compensate for failed infrastructure. Other than the breakfast, I see no reason why this property is superior to any local 4-star hotel. If you actually want to swim, even the Four Points across the street is a better choice. I witnessed guests getting suite upgrades for yelling in the lobby on Sunday; it seems being rational and quiet here just gets you a shuttle bus ticket.

The hotel offers many amenities, a very nice rooftop, and several restaurants. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had in a hotel; the selection is incredibly vast; you absolutely must try it. The location is excellent, near a park and some of Bangkok's most prestigious shopping malls. You must try it; it's an excellent hotel.

And if you do - look for Khun Coke ! He is the type of hospitality staff that demonstrates true hospitality!. Hotel has some great local shopping around it, and plenty of dining outlets. Room service cleaning is fast and efficient and the roof top bar is spectacular

Good location rooms were comfortable and the food at the breakfast buffet and for lunch was not just excellent but outstanding. Ask for a high floor towards the back of the hotel (towards the park) because the street can get kind of noisy on the weekends. I had a pleasant stay. Be sure to check out the park which is accessible by the doors next to the buffet.

I clearly informed them when ordering food that I have a vegetable allergy and requested that no vegetables be included. However, both restaurants still served my food with vegetables. I was upgraded to a king suite. It was spacious and quiet but needs refurbishment. Was also invited to M Club which was really nice for morning breakfast. It is a huge hotel. Next to park and shopping area. The Siam tea room had great lattes. Housekeeping very nice includes evening turndown .

Both rooms got upgraded to club rooms even though I was only entitled to one being a platinum member. Amazing service, great food and I particularly loved the breakfast. Huge shout out to the ladies and gents in the M Club, they were fantastic, anticipating needs, making sure the drinks are replaced before the first one is done. Can't wait to go back again

Great location, it’s close to everything from restaurants, spas and bars to malls and entertainment. From the moment we arrive, we always feel welcome. Some of the bell staff even remembered us from past visits and greeted us with a cheerful “Welcome back!” a small gesture that makes such a big difference. We also love the M Club Lounge. The team is consistently friendly and attentive, we would especially like to recognize Khun Baitong. She is approachable, attentive and always goes the extra mile to ensure we are well taken care of. Whether answering our questions or simply checking that we are comfortable, she does it all with professionalism and a beautiful smile. Highly recommended this hotel! We will be back

They’re always nice and willing to help the guest with anything! I got some issues with an online order delivery and I didn’t have a local phone number to contact the delivery company. I walked to the front desk and randomly asked someone if he can help me. His name is Q. He quickly jumped into my case and contacted the delivery company and solved the problem for me. Not only that, he provided his contact information to the delivery guy and received my boxes for me. I had to leave the hotel earlier, and Q passed the boxes to one of my friend. What a nice guy!! So nice and reliable!! You can always trust the people there! That’s a huge deal when you travel- to stay in a place that’s clean, safe, convenient and full of trustworthy staff! Highly recommend this place!!

Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly warm and welcoming. You can really feel the care and professionalism in how the team operates. A special thank you to Lek, the Assistant Front Office Manager, who went out of her way to ensure my stay was smooth and memorable. The breakfast buffet? Absolutely massive — it’s hands-down the biggest I’ve ever seen. The variety of food on offer is just mind-blowing: everything from Thai favourites to international classics, all freshly made and beautifully presented. You could spend days trying everything! The M Club Lounge is also a standout. With live cooking stations, excellent cocktails, and a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere, it’s easily one of the best executive lounges in all of Southeast Asia. I’ve stayed at many top-tier properties in Bangkok, including newer ones like the Ritz-Carlton, but this property has become my go-to. I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know — whether for business or leisure.

I don’t have all their names, but the team working Sunday evening, Monday morning, and Monday afternoon went above and beyond. When you can’t explain checkout and extension you really notice when the people are trying to help and not just do “their job”. They took care of things seamlessly. As someone who works in multilingual communications I appreciate the training and personalities it takes to deliver exceptional service—this is a staff who made a difficult situation manageable through their efficiency and care. - Gerald (8/5): - The hotel staff was excellent everywhere we went. Superb five star service. Breakfast was included with our stay. It is worthy of getting, the variety of foods is extremely vast. The food was also freshly made, had variations daily, and was quite tasty. The fresh fruits were delicious and the restaurant services were great. Assistance in getting taxis was outstanding. The walk in shower was great with adjustable positioning and force. Towels were soft and comfortable. Water was plentiful and free throughout our stay. Also received extra rolls of toilet paper and facial tissue. Hotel was very accommodating. We had a shower door that would not close properly and caused water to flow into the bathroom floor. Told the front desk of the problem and it was fixed the same day. The shower stall even had a line that you could pull to hang wet items on. Really nice. The only complaint was the toilet that wouldn’t even flush away excrement of any kind. We had to have the toilet plumbed six times during our stay. We were told to not put toilet paper in the toilet; told to place any soiled toilet paper in the waste container in the bathroom. This to me was totally unacceptable; especially in a five star hotel. We complied but the still didn’t get its job done. Finally the hotel got the toilet to work well, but not like it should. The hotel went through a major update; but I question the plumbing status. I do not know if other rooms had the same plumbing issues.

Despite being a large-scale hotel, it offers a warm and caring atmosphere thanks to the kind and thoughtful staff. Even before check-in, I was warmly welcomed by Lounge Manager Ms. Chanel. When an issue arose, Duty Manager Meen sincerely apologized and resolved the matter with care. Night Manager Mr. Sam also followed up with Meen to bring the issue to a smooth conclusion, and Daow from At Your Service responded promptly to help. Thanks to all of them, I will definitely return to this hotel. Although the property is showing some signs of aging, the improved breakfast and exceptional service more than make up for it. Highly recommended. 매우 큰 규모의 호텔이지만 친절하고 사려깊은 직원들 덕분에 케어 받고 있음을 느낄 수 있는 다정한 호텔임.

- imrank607 (10/5): Superior service at hard to beat location - From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the hotel the level of service is really exceptional. Even by that standards I was impressed by the level of care they took including having a person meet us after we were dropped off and guiding us to the check-in area. The facilities though older, but very well maintained, reminds me of a time when hotel facilities didn’t cut corners. I really enjoyed the lobby area which had a wonderful charming hustle but was running so smoothly. The gym was very well equipped with enough capacity for a hotel this size. Lockers and shower facilities were also well maintained. We were lucky enough to go you the lounge on level 27. Thigh the breakfast selection is limited when compared to restaurant on ground floor, it has all the essentials and more plus you avoid the crowds and get excellent views. Finally it’s located right next to beautiful park which has a good running track and it’s next to 3 world class shopping malls. If you need to travel the train (bts) is within walking distance.

The doorkeepers, Conceirge and Ms Paris as the greeter are simply amazing. You move up to M Lounge Southside and you almost feel you are meeting your family. - Tik_Nisarat (10/5): Exceptional stay - I stayed here for 2 nights and I enjoyed the time here very much. Upon arrival, I did check-in process with Khun Rena. She was very professional and friendly. Room was great and comfortable. The hotel also arranged early check in and late check out which made our stay even more smooth. The hotel is located in very convenience area. There is a short cut walking along the park to Phrom Phong BTS station. There are malls, restaurants, good massage places in walking distance. Breakfast at Gogi was amazing. There were many choices of food with good qualities. I am a breakfast person and it was exceptional here. All staffs at the restaurant were very good, especially Khun Martiny. He took care of us for 2 mornings. With his service, it made the breakfast experience even more impressive. I also went to the rooftop bar a few times. Atmosphere at bar was nice and service from the staffs there was great. Thank you once again. We loved our stay.

Prior to my arrival, I had exchanged a few emails with the team regarding some general inquiries, and their responses were always prompt and helpful. Upon check-in, I had the pleasure of meeting Chanel, the Guest Service Manager. She and her entire team made me and my family feel genuinely welcomed. Since this is a large property, Chanel took the time to provide us with helpful guidance to ensure we never felt overwhelmed or lost—something I deeply appreciated. The M Club Lounge was one of the highlights of our stay. Open 24 hours a day, it offers a quiet, relaxing space to enjoy soft drinks, snacks, and fruits at any time. It’s also a great alternative to the busier Goji Kitchen for a peaceful breakfast setting. The cocktail hours in the evening, the snacks, the all day coffee - well worth the few extra bucks. The rooms are a tad oldish , could be spruced up a bit. What was shocking though, they don’t have access to any OTT platforms in their rooms and refuse to give you access to any. Every hotel that I have stayed in world over provides this now. Here we had access to a couple of channels. If you’re expecting a resort kind of feel, this isn’t it , it’s a super busy business hotel. The pool is ok - small , great gym , incredible breakfast. If you’re a golfer, the tee shot bar is your go to place. The location of the hotel is just amazing …: walking distance from the sky train, malls and loads of bars and restaurants all around. The highlight of our trip was the access to the club lounge ..:: I repeat - well worth it !!!!
- Discover63178678086 (4/5): Underwhelming - Stayed in Bangkok many times in the past usually at the JW but had read good reports about the hotel and in particular the way they seemed treat loyal Bonvoy members so thought we would give it a try. We are a family of three and had booked a room with two Double beds. I am a Titanium Elite for Life Bonvoy member , but at check in was informed no upgrade was available , all they could do was apologise and offer me 2000 points . Got to the room to find they weren’t doubles but more like three quarter beds , too tight really for two adults in one bed. We had access to the M Club lounge which was being renovated so was moved to the North Tower. On our first night we went 45 minutes before closing but no seats available. After a few minutes we were put in the meeting room ! The following day we tried the Teeshot bar which was really good , a football and golf simulator which was cool. That night again we went to the M Club lounge an hour before closing to be again told no seats available. This time we waited 15 minutes to be seated , unacceptable really. Understand the renovation but surely they arrange a place big enough to seat all guests .?? We left early the next morning and overall found the hotel very disappointing, the first time travelling in Asia that I hadn’t received an upgrade (in the biggest hotel in Bangkok) but it wasn’t just that , just an underwhelming overall experience. To add insult to injury , upon checking my points balance , no additional 2000 points promised had been added to my account.
- freeXspirit (2/5): First time I had to move out of a hotel mid-trip - it’s truly that bad! Stay away! - In over 3 decades of traveling, I’ve never had to move out of a hotel during a trip. Here, I just had to - it was that bad! The entire floor and our room reeked of smoke - my son was nauseous because of the overwhelming smell. Called the reception and told them I had specifically requested a non-smoking room, one that had never been smoked it. Manager came, said there was no smell - how do you argue with that?! Just very disappointed by the complete disrespect for guests and the blatant lies. Cut the stay short and moved to a different hotel. Glad I did. Positives for the hotel - great buffet breakfast, excellent spread, but gets crazy crowded. Excellent fitness center - new machines - massive facility with a squash court. Negatives - Overall a super busy property that feels like a zoo with so much foot traffic. Also in a pretty crowded part of town. Cleanliness is severely lacking. They simply need to eliminate smoking on the property altogether, like so many properties have already done. And then, they need to take responsibility for their lack of service, and fix their money-hogging approach to business.

- Sporkyulp (10/5): My wonderful stays at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis hotel in Bangkok, Thailand - April 23, 2025 Aloha, My name is Donald J. (“Jerry”) Meyer. I am a Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member. I wish to send a long-overdue review of my stays (some of them for extended periods) at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park hotel in Thailand. My first stays there were in 2012-13, when the hotel was under the ownership of the Imperial hotel group, before it was sold to Marriott and renovated. While I enjoyed my stays way back then, I enjoyed them even more during my most recent stays in 2024 and 2025. This is chiefly due to the fantastic service provided by the various staff as well as their kindness and friendly attitudes which made me feel at home and reluctant to leave (hence the protracted stays). I got to know and interacted with so many staff that it would be impossible to list them all here but I would like to mention a few who stood out. Please forgive any mistakes, misspellings of names or other errors. As an Ambassador Elite member I am granted access to the executive lounge, called the “M Club”. I partook of that perk almost every night. I’m no dummy. One night another member mentioned to me he had been to many other hotels’ Executive Lounges all over the world and to his mind the M Club at the Marriott Marquis in Bangkok is the best. I agree. Chief among the people who kept me coming back was khun Sonya, who manages everything with grace and attention and seems to have a perfect memory for guests’ individual idiosyncrasies. She is quite amazing and a genius at multitasking! Among the other staff at the M Club who went out of their way to give me special attention were Miss Sachiko, Miss Emily, Miss Mew, Miss Dew, Mr. Art, Mr. Max, Mr. Fluke, Mr. Ko-Ke, Miss Noon, Miss Toei, Mr. Tar, Mr. Ice, Miss Klong, Miss Nicole (who remembered I like tum yam goong that is not too spicy), Miss Baitong, Miss Prai, Miss Kati, Mr. Petch, Miss Noon, Miss Tong and others. Moving on to Reception/Check In, I had wonderful interactions with several of the kind and attentive staff who always were cheerful and had a smile on their face, chief among them Miss Sky and Miss Fai. They are appropriately attired in red as they are standouts and superstars. Miss Best, Miss Min, Miss Nisa, Miss Guide, and others also put a smile on my face. At the Front Desk, Mr. Beer has helped me for many years, answering my questions and validating my parking. Miss Anne, Mr. X, and others made for a smooth stay. I was and, hopefully, will continue to be a regular attendee at the wonderful Tee-Shot lounge just above the lobby. It deserves to have many more customers as the service and staff are unbelievable. One even remembered my favorite drink after I left and came back months later! (should I be worried about that?). Mr. Win is a standout and always made time to chat with me even though I could see he had many duties to attend to. Among his other endeavors is playing point guard on the champion Marriott basketball team. Others who gave me kind attention were Miss Bovvy, Mr. Tor (the one who remembered my favorite drink), Mr. Ruuj, Miss Aon, Mr. Pump and others. I often had breakfast at the Goji and enjoyed seeing Miss Beer there. She had worked at the Tee-Shot and been transferred. She has a friendly and lively demeanor. Her talents may be used more effectively in a higher-profile position. Miss Jenny there plays golf and boasts an 18-handicap. Others who assisted me are Miss Gun, Mr. May, Miss Klong, And I tried to get over to the Siam Tea Room every day at 6 pm when the bakery products go on 50% discount. Assisting me in my purchases with good humor and attention were, among others, Miss Tubtim, Miss Nune, Miss Arent, Miss Praew, and others. They are always stylishly dressed and exude class and charm. And a special thanks to the lady who gave me a replacement for the muffin I dropped on the floor. Good service! I have a favorite room I try to get whenever I stay but am often not successful as the Marriott Marquis has become too popular! Because I have stayed in that room so many times I have gotten to know the housekeeper, Miss Pansaa (Noi), who has always done a fantastic job cleaning up my mess and replenishing my toiletries. I hope she is still there when I return. As far as bellboys/concierges go, Mr. Leon was always ready to help me with my bags and a chat. I had some nice chats with Mr. Rizal as well. I plan to return soon and hope many of the above-mentioned staff are still working at the Marriott. I am sorry if I have left some people out. I know I have. - Rob-groves (8/5): Everything works well - The hotel is located centrally and very much aimed at the business market with a number of conference rooms and two towers. Therefore it is busy and lacks the personal touch. However, I was there for business and this was not a problem, breakfast had an extensive range and was very efficient in terms of service. Good gym, squash court and pool area.

The pool was also good, though a little busy (it was Songkran). The room was great - pretty standard but good nonetheless

As a titanium elite member we were upgraded to M suite which is lovely. Very spacious room, huge bathtub, beautiful view of the Queens Park and all of the amenities. Upon checking into the room, we were welcome with sparkling wine, cake & balloons as a celebration of our 39th wedding anniversary (really appreciate all the efforts put into this, thank you Bangkok Marriott Marquis team for making it memorable. We spent a meaningful 3 nights and very excellent experience. All the staffs are wonderful and very friendly. Breakfast was outstanding, very huge selection from asian to western cuisine. I have stayed at St. Regis to Ritz carlton and never saw a spread like this hotel, its fit for a king. The M Lounge is one of a kind, from the unbelievable breakfast spread, lunch finger food to evening cocktails and horderves to 24 hours access to coffee, tea, soda and snacks - unbelievable. The staff are outstanding, everyone went above and beyond their scope of duties to assist to make sure you're happy. As a hotelier, I was impressed to see such a huge hotel can operate in such an efficient manner. Kudos to the GM and the management team. (Land of smiles) the people one In particular made us little animals like one day it was a little elephant out of towels a nice added touch. Housekeeping cleaned our room and I mean cleaned everything. We had the breakfast buffet added to our stay, amazing they had everything you could imagine and very clean. Walking off the property is harder you have to really watch where you are walking cracks different sizes of steps etc, but that’s Thailand for you not that it’s a bad thing. The pool is nice the pool area very clean the pool bar food is good and they always have drinking water available can’t wait to go back.

The club lounge is big and has decent offerings. The breakfast in the main restaurant downstairs has one of the biggest selections I have seen though it can be very manic busy in peak. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - especially the club lounge staff. Highly recommend as a great option for Bangkok.

- leonardusadrianusk (2/5): A Shocking Breach of Security – Marriott Cannot Be Trusted - My stay at the Marriott Bangkok was an absolute disgrace due to a serious security failure and an appalling response from management. A valuable perfume bottle was stolen from my room, and instead of taking responsibility, the hotel covered it up with lies and dismissive excuses. Despite reporting the theft, the General Manager outright refused to take it seriously. He claimed that CCTV footage and key access records showed no one entering my room—but conveniently provided no proof whatsoever. Instead of addressing the issue, he simply brushed off my complaint. To make matters worse, he outright lied in his responses. When I escalated the matter to Marriott’s customer service and other departments, I encountered nothing but a shameful corporate runaround. All they did was redirect me back to the same GM, who had already proven that he had no interest in resolving the issue. Zero accountability. Zero action. Just a blatant disregard for guest security. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in Marriott. If your belongings can be stolen and management refuses to act, how can anyone feel safe staying at any Marriott property? I strongly warn anyone considering this hotel—or any Marriott property—do not trust them with your security or your belongings. This was not just terrible service—it was a complete failure of ethics and responsibility. I will never stay at a Marriott again. Ever.
