Christopher (8/5): Lovely hotel, great location fab breakfast. - Location, roof top bar/ terrace. The room was well organised and felt spacious for its size. Views of the tower at breakfast and from the room. Nice welcome treats and a fantastic much as you can eat breakfast - sausages bacon eggs plus eggs cooked to order smoked salmon and loads more. Despite assurances at checkin about concerns of building work next door to our room and being told this wouldn’t start until 10 am we were woken at 8.15 am by building noise on two mornings. Also we were next door to a laundry room as long sustained noise from early one morning was irritating. Sounded like a tumble dryer, also comings and goings started quite early.Given this the rates for this room should be lower than equivalent rooms not subjected to this disturbance.

vonOtter (10/5): Terrass Hotel: the Heart of Montmartre - Located within easy walking distance of all major and minor sights of Montmartre, Terrass Hotel is a gem. The staff is attentive and helpful. The included breakfast is satisfying. The view across Paris from the fifth floor is breathtaking, well as from the dining area on the seventh floor. Our room, #505, was clean and comfortable. Its bathroom is a generous size. I included a flower arrangement and fruit basket for a special occasion; both were waiting for us in the room, and were lovely. Terrass Hotel is located directly across the street from the historic Montmartre Cemetery. Famous folks are at eternal repose there, including painter of ballerinas, Edgar Degas (1834–1917); author of “The Three Musketeers,” Alexandre Dumas (1802-1870); saxophone inventor, Adolphe Sax (1814-1894); and early 20th-century ballet dancer, Vaslav Nijinsky (1890-1950). I would stop at Terrass Hotel again, and I would recommend it to others.

Sightsee800368 (10/5): A Wonderful Hotel! - The Terrass Hotel is absolutely wonderful! My wife and I visited last year and returned to spend three nights there last week. Our room was spacious and well furnished with a very comfortable bed. The rooftop Edmond Restaurant is excellent and offers an outstanding view of Paris. Most importantly, the entire hotel staff are extremely cordial and courteous. We particularly appreciated Jeanne, who recommended restaurants and made dinner reservations for us, and David, who was exceptionally warm and friendly and made a special effort to help with our luggage and to obtain transportation to the airport. We could not have had a better experience and greatly look forward to returning. .Most highly recommended!!!

Stevan (8/5): Excellent hotel but the sewer smell really was unacceptable - Lovely boutique hotel perfect for Monmarte. The rooftop bar is gorgeous with a view of the Eiffel Tower. We had one of the luxury rooms and for two nights it had a sewer smell that was unlivable. They offered a small refund. We could only be in the room with the window fully open

The views from the top floor over Paris are awesome and the cocktails are pretty good. Great location in Montmartre and easy travel around the city. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent and service first class.

Loved the opaque glass bathroom Roof terrace bar- outside shits too early ?? Why ?? & smoking area , little place off to the left with a hard bench surrounded by butt bins . It was nasty . But if you smoke shisha you get a nice lounge with comfy seats right next to the naughty smokers bench . Smoking is not good but I expect a decent designated place when staying at a hotel that costs me nearly €300 a night .

Rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was very good. Rooftop bar had a great atmosphere and great views of Paris.

The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area, and the rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and fully equipped with excellent quality products. One of the highlights for us was the terrace restaurant – the views are simply breathtaking and made dining there a truly special experience. Breakfast each morning was also a pleasure, with friendly and attentive staff who set the tone for the day. What really made our stay exceptional, however, was the service. A special mention to David the concierge, who went above and beyond in every way – nothing was ever too much trouble, and he truly ensured our stay was perfect. We would also like to recognise Marie Caroline, who was on her very first day at the hotel. Despite this, she was incredibly warm, professional, and went out of her way to make sure our booking process and stay ran seamlessly. A superb setting with outstanding service – we can’t wait to return!

We booked an Eiffel Tower suite and it was well worth it as the view from up high across Paris was special. Top location within easy reach of several Metro stations. The room being at the front was a little noisy from the street below but didn't disturb us. Would certainly book again

Tatiana (10/5): A perfect hotel in Monmartre - I came to Paris to celebrate my birthday, and I couldn’t have made a better choice of hotel. It was exceptional in so many ways! The staff were incredibly helpful, and nothing was ever a problem. A bottle of wine was waiting for me in the room on arrival, which was a very nice touch. The rooftop terrace is amazing and offers a great view. A special thank you to the receptionists, Paulina, Jeanne, and Adelie. They made our stay even more memorable. I would definitely recommend this place, and I’ll be back. There was no hot water in the shower when we arrived, but we were quickly moved to a different room , so it didn’t affect our stay.

Elenita (10/5): Another great stay - My husband and I recently returned home from our second stay at the Terrass Hotel, and once again found it to be absolutely wonderful. Everything - the front desk staff, the room, the view, the restaurant and the rooftop terrace - was exceptional. We love its location in Montmartre (a little ways off from the major "touristy" areas) and enjoyed the proximity of numerous restaurants, bakeries, and small shops. The front desk happily arranged for a shuttle to and from CDG airport, which was extremely convenient. Bus and Metro are nearby, though we opted to use Uber, which made getting to other parts of the city very easy.

V6592KIchristopherm (10/5): Great hotel in great section of Paris! - Cannot give this hotel enough compliments based on our recent stay. First time in Paris, the hotel, like the city itself, did not disappoint. Extremely helpful and accommodating staff, our room was a balcony with Eiffel Tower view (highly recommend) and we had a head on view of the great monument every day and night plus a small patio that you can have a glass of wine or coffee on. The Montmartre neighborhood has so much to offer in terms of places to see/visit, great restaurants and bakeries nearby. It is a little hilly so be prepared to walk, but it is worth it. It is about a 40 minute walk to the Seine and the major tourist locations (Louvre/Notre Dame) but plenty to see on the way. Rooftop bar is terrific way to cap off an evening with more incredible views of the Eiffel Tower and very good dinner and Tapas offerings. Overall pricing for the hotel was reasonable and the stores/restaurants in the areas were also not charging “tourist” prices. Simply said - this hotel is a winner and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

Staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, rivaling five star hotels. Prices were very reasonable. There is a spa, a cycling room, game room, and a laundry room as well. Gluten-free food options include croissants & pain au chocolat! I had to catch a train early morning, and they even packed my breakfast to go!

B2859NScatherinec (10/5): Almost perfect - As others have said, the view from the hotel is incredible! The hotel is in a great location with many restaurants and bars a stone’s throw away. The room and bed were very comfortable, I didn’t book an Eiffel Tower view room but I was lucky enough to be allocated one on the 8th floor, a very welcome surprise, also with a great view of the famous Montmartre Cemetery. There was a problem with the toilet in my room but on notifying reception, it was dealt with almost immediately. The hotel bar and restaurant also have breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower. I ate dinner in the the restaurant twice, the ambiance and service was outstanding, but I have to say I wasn’t overly impressed with the food, it wasn’t bad by any means but didn’t live up to the atmosphere of the place. I did appreciate being treated very well by restaurant staff; I often find as a solo diner in ‘nice places’ that you’re often not given the best tables etc, but on both occasions that I ate here I was given a prime table by the window with that magnificent view. The only other slight criticism I have is that I visited the hotel rooftop bar one afternoon and although it’s covered it was absolutely freezing. When you are paying hotel prices for a drink, you want to be comfortable. The bar had just opened for the day and it was December, so perhaps it may have warmed up later on, but it would have been good if the heating had been turned on prior to opening. The hotel staff were lovely and very patient and kind in letting me practice my awful French! I would definitely chose this hotel again!

It’s also minutes away from the Metro and bus lines. The Montmartre district is a wonderful place to explore.

Great location. - We rented the Penthouse and there was an issue w/ mechanical noise but the manager gave us an entirely separate room to sleep in each night so we could continue to use the Penthouse - and it’s remarkable view - during the day. Furthermore, when we checked out I managed to leave my passport and quite a bit of cash and the chambermaid turned it in to the manager who called us. I had to drive back 2 hours to Paris but was obviously relieved at getting passport, credit cards and cash back. Very honest staff at this well-located hotel.
