• Sheila (8/5): Comfortable but particularly second visit a disappointment - We stayed twice at this hotel on our trip the first we paid a small fee to be given an executive suite that was really nice but a little dated but great facilities also executives lounge is a bonus free drinks snacks etc The second time we were in a queen studio in the tower not so good didn’t like the location of the room it seemed disjointed from the rest of hotel with large couch which dominated the room a small table and two comfy chairs would be more appropriate The queen studio as mentioned earlier the main area restaurant has been refurbished but the rooms are a little outdated

It seemed somewhat rundown, our bed was uncomfortable and the pillows too hard and the room had a damp smell. Generally, we were very disappointed, especially as we had paid a higher price than usual for a hotel that promised so much more than we experienced.

• Riccardo Fabiani 1965 (9/5): - Good welcome from the staff at the check-in, spacious and well furnished rooms, nice swimming pool. The hotel is close to the river quay, with many restaurants and bars for dining out. For the in-room dining (it was raining heavily, so I was obliged to stay at the hotel), the menu is accessible via a QR code, but the menu is showing photos only of few dishes, so it is difficult to choose. Besides that, the dish selection results quite limited.

As instalações do quarto são antigas com carpete e cortinas que não estavam muito limpas. As cortinas não escurecem suficientemente o quarto para dormir. Não há box no banheiro e sim banheira com cortina de plástico. Não há chuveirinho no vaso sanitário.
• joerg (4/5): Discrimination for special rate guests - Nice, helpful and friendly staff, stable Wi-Fi. Quite room! Hotel is dated, and so was my rooms. Apparently, when you book at a special rate there are no amenities in your room. No kettle or water boiler, no tea no coffee and no free water bottles. The fridge was completely empty, hence, no minibar either. But most ridiculous was, that you could use either one of 2 lifts to get to your floor from the lobby. But for the special rate guests there was only ONE lift going down. And as you can imagine, at peak times, it took a very long time to get to the breakfast floor or to the lobby.

• Bernhard_F (8/5): Zur Erkundung Singapurs als Ausgangs- und Ruhepunkt gut geeignet - Das Hotel liegt nahverkehrstechnisch günstig zwischen den MRT Stationen Havelock (max. 10 Minuten Fußweg) und Chinatown (ca. 15 Minuten). Von dort sind alle sehenswerten Stadtviertel in weniger als einer halben Stunde erreichbar. Einkaufen und einkehren kann man am günstigsten beim Peoples Park kurz vor Chinatown. Das Hotel selbst ist gut ausgestattet, sauber und freundlich. Noch besseren Service erhalten Gäste des Executive Club mit Lounge, wo man sogar auf einer Terrasse sitzen kann. Der Frühstücksraum im 2. Stock ist zu klein. Auf dem begrünten, kleinen Balkon am Zimmer gibt es leider keine Sitzgelegenheit.

United team of handling hospitality. Know Melinda for ages (love you lots my dear), love the chinese restaurant Lindy introduced, ate there, delish, newly renovated rooms, accessibility, buffet and as well as the reception lounge area. Feels like home, very homely feeling when you stay there. Love the oriental asian vibes here

• 38DanielT38 (4/5): Never Again - A dated but generally clean hotel. What ruined it for me was the front-desk staff who seemed very displeased at seeing us arrive to check-in, and even gave me a lecture on not having all our family members' physical IDs present. Might have caught front-desk on a bad day. I highly discourage anyone from paying for lounge access - small, 4 food choices, unattended - unless you're just focused on the wine and beer. There was consistent knocking sounds from the ceiling through the night (unsure what it was caused by), so we hardly had a good sleep. Will we consider this for a staycation again? See title. I'd recommend their sister hotel Grand Copthorne Waterfront instead in a heartbeat.
• MartinLH (5/5): Post stay in this hotel - Location I stayed at your hotel with two children, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The room had only two small beds, and when I requested an extra blanket, none was provided. This left one child needing to sleep on the couch without proper bedding. Additionally, when I checked in around 7 p.m., the staff was very unprofessional and spoke in a rude manner when asking for passports. Typically, hotel reception staff are polite and welcoming, so this behavior was surprising and upsetting. We had a long hours flight from London, i just want to pass when staff may ask me , that's all. I am not even expecting so professional and polite but just normal speaking will do. When I booked, I clearly indicated one adult and two children. My expectation was that the room would be prepared with sufficient bedding for all guests. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and improve both your service and hospitality standards.

After I accidentally left behind one of my belongings, the staff handled the situation with remarkable care and efficiency. A special thank you to Jasmine at the reception, who responded with patience and kindness the moment I reached out. Reja, the Assistant Security Manager, took immediate action to locate the item, and his professionalism gave me complete peace of mind. I also appreciate the Shift Manager, who coordinated everything smoothly behind the scenes. Because of this experience, I will not only stay here again, but I will also highly recommend Copthorne King’s Hotel Singapore to everyone looking for warm, reliable, and outstanding service.

During check-in, the Duty Manager and the reception lady were very polite and helpful. I unfortunately did not manage to get their names, but their service was greatly appreciated. Since I was travelling with my elderly mother, they kindly assisted us by arranging rooms on the same floor, which we were thankful for. However, the room that was assigned had a bathtub, which is not very safe for elderly guests. We went back to the reception to request a room change. The receptionist who checked us in sincerely tried to help, but she explained that the only available room would be in another tower, quite far from our current room. Because of this, we decided to remain in the same room. She was still very thoughtful and offered additional bathmats for safety, which we appreciated. Another wonderful surprise was that the hotel upgraded us to the Kings Executive Club benefits, allowing us access to the Executive Club Lounge. This really made our stay special. We especially enjoyed the Sunset Hour from 5pm to 9pm, where guests could enjoy house-pour wines, spirits, beer, and light refreshments. It was a very relaxing experience and truly made our stay memorable ❤️ In the morning, there were also light breakfast options available at the lounge, which we enjoyed very much. On top of that, we were also entitled to 20% discount on food and beverage during our stay, which was a nice added benefit. Thank you to the management for this wonderful gesture. The only unfortunate experience happened on the second night. After returning from a full day tour, my mother was very tired and accidentally left her phone on the sofa at the hotel lobby around midnight while we were waiting for our family members. The gentleman at the lobby (I am not sure if he was the Duty Manager or a receptionist) immediately said that no phone was found, without asking further questions or checking. He continued with his work, which was quite disappointing and did not leave a good impression.

• 331ngs (2/5): Can't Undertsand the Attitude of Staff - I can't understand: when I already reached the check-in counter, and there is no other guest at there, after checking my passport with your system, your staff declined to help me check in and insisted want me to use Kiosk to do so. So, since the hotel got so special requirement, I went to use Kiosk to do the check in. As my reservation through online and I already paid the charges, but your Kiosk insisted want me to pay some amount of money (which equivalent one night charges), and i forced to hang on there, nobody at Kiosk to help me. Then I forced to ask the staff at check-in counter, she showed me the black face and came to Kiosk, and then had no choice to do the check-in for me at counter. What I observed, during I did the check-in at Kiosk, there are new guest came to counter, and they are foreigner (look like from Euro), your staff served them with smiles and help to do everything for check-in matter. So this means that I am not entitled to get the good services at your hotel. Some more, after your staff done the check-in for me at counter, she pointed me to the furthest lift and asked me to go to my room using that lift. After I reached my floor, i realized I need to pass through staircase to go to my room. actually, I only need to use the lift beside counter then i will be able to reach my room faster. based on the above scenario, I strongly agree that your hotel did not welcome me. When i check-out, there also nobody to inform me how to check out, and need me to wait at counter for about 5 minutes. (on the same time,, there is few staff at counter. I tried to check out from Kiosk, but the Kiosk need to fill a lot of info (which I feel that the stupid procedure).

The AI "assistant" in the room was at best superfluous and at worst, downright annoying and intrusive. I disconnected it, after it refused to turn itself off. • Turysta20144 (6/5): Very noisy!!! - I specifically requested a quiet room as I am a light sleeper, yet we were allocated a room facing the main road. The constant hum of traffic continued day and night. However, this was not even the main issue. The building next door was undergoing refurbishment, and construction work was taking place with significant noise even at midnight. I went to reception and asked them to intervene. I was told they would address it, yet the work continued well past midnight. The following evening, as I was trying to sleep, I must have accidentally disabled the “Do Not Disturb” setting. At 22:30, a member of the cleaning staff opened our door. She rang the doorbell first, but I assumed the faint sound was coming from the television and it was largely masked by the street noise. I find it extraordinary that housekeeping would attempt to clean a room at 22:30. Fortunately, I was not undressed when she entered. The swimming pool area is located next to what appears to be a generator, and there is a very loud humming noise there as well. Overall, I felt there was no area within the hotel where one could properly rest. Before it is suggested that noise is unavoidable in a major city, I would point out that I travel extensively and am fully aware that centrally located hotels can and do provide a peaceful environment.
