Grande déception concernant la vue sur l’acropole plus que partielle de la chambre, qui ne vaut pas le supplément payé. Cela mériterait d’être explicitement mentionné dans le descriptif lors de la réservation. Le personnel à la réception a été très gentil et nous a offert en guise de compensation une bouteille de vin.

• Ivan (6/5): - The Philippos Hotel was very conveniently located near the Acropolis. There are plenty of good restaurants. We did not like the one suggested by the receptionist (Cave of Acropolis https://maps.app.goo.gl/Fxqgywcm5BxJ19cP8). So, we went to the Yard (https://maps.app.goo.gl/5rJx4uWxp7atgMvm8?g_st=ic ) and Arcadia (fully gluten-free! | https://maps.app.goo.gl/wWnQmSaF4PoHGAY48?g_st=ic) who offered excellent meals with an amazing service. The breakfast is simplistic but OK, unless you suffer from allergies or intolerances. 😬 We don’t recommend the single room on the third floor, which has no view on the city. During the second night, the bathroom stank of a very nasty drain odor (like rotten eggs). However, the other rooms were great! One more thing, we were missing a real shower, instead of a bath tub.

Προβληματίστηκα, το ανέφερα και η αντίδραση από το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενέστατη, άμεση και αποδοτική - και με το παραπάνω. Προσωπικά, δεν χρειάζομαι κάτι περισσότερο από ένα ξενοδοχείο στην Αθήνα, στην πιο όμορφη γειτονιά που μπορείτε να μείνετε. Ξεκάθαρα, το προτείνω και πάμε για την...πέμπτη φορά!

You can walk to acropolis and the rooms are comfy and have nice balconies from which you can see the acropolis . The continental breakfast is also very nice and great way to start your day . The hotel was clean, staff were welcoming, and it was located very close to the Acropolis and museum. The breakfast was sufficient. The view from the top of the hotel of the Parthenon was great. We would stay here again the next time when visiting Athens. There was some street noise at night. You may wish to bring ear plugs.

The staff is charming and welcoming, from the smiling cleaner to the efficient reception managers. The location is in a quiet and well-kept place, surrounded by restaurants and cafes and most importantly a two-minute walk from the Acropolis metro station. In conclusion, great value for money. Always worth choosing the place.

Mr. Ilias was especially kind and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and stress-free, which we truly appreciated. The hotel is very nice, clean, and well maintained, with a great location close to the city center and major attractions. Everything was easily accessible, making it a convenient and pleasant base for exploring Athens. We had a very comfortable stay and would happily recommend Hotel Philippos to anyone visiting Athens.

• markfB739DW (8/5): Nice Hotel and Great Location - The hotel is brilliantly located just 5 minutes walk from the Acropoli Metro station and most of the main Athens sites can be found within a 15-20 minute walk. We were given a very warm welcome at check in and given plenty of advice and maps. The room was compact but comfortable and had everything thing we needed. The complimentary fruit on arrival was a nice touch. The shower was quite small and maybe difficult for some people to get in and out of, but the shower itself was good. The breakfast was standard Greek style buffet which was plentiful and set you up for the day. A nice hotel and would recommend.

Unser Zimmer war bequem, ausreichend groß, angenehm temperiert, mit Mini-Balkon zum Chillen, die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück war wunderbar, frisch gekocht, immer ausreichend da, das Personal sehr freundlich, keine Wartezeiten. Der Blick von der Gemeinschaftsterrasse war herrlich. Die Lage ist perfekt für Altstadt und Akropolis, nicht weit zur Metro, nicht weit zu einer Menge netter Restaurants. Gewünscht hätten wir uns eine Steckdose bei jedem Bett, und etwas Stauraum - da allerdings ausreichend Platz für zwei offene Koffer und zwei Rucksäcke ist, war das Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Good position for the Accropolis and within five minutes of a metro station. Lots going on in the area including lots of food options. Small room but had everything I needed including fridge/safe/TV and air-conditioning etc. Small bathroom with lots of hot water and a balcony with two chairs but not much view.

• Cathy Humbert (8/5): Séjour très agréable - Chambre propre, avec équipements au top, literie très confortable avec vue sur l’acropole. Personnel très sympathique. Hôtel situé à même pas 500 mètres de l’acropole, des sites antiques ainsi que des quartiers populaire comme Pláka et autres. Si vous aimez marcher un peu et ne pas prendre les transports en commun pour découvrir la ville, l’emplacement de l’hôtel est un plus. Après avoir marché toute la journée, un bain aurait été agréable mais pas de bouchon disponible pour la baignoire, ils m’ont expliqué que c’était pour une démarche d’écologie, ce que je comprend parfaitement mais cela aurait été agréable, je l’avoue. Un peu de bruit tout de même, on entend les portes claquées mais ce n’est pas récurrent, de même, je suis arrivée en période de hors saison et ils font des travaux de rénovation en ce moment donc des bruits de perceuse et autres, seulement en journée.

Esta cerca de todos los destinos de interés. El personal el más amable que he conocido, nos recomendó un restaurante con muy buena atención y nos ayudó para realizar late check out debido a que nuestro crucero estaba para las horas de la tarde, así mismo al ser mi cumpleaños me llevó un postre a la habitación. No hubiésemos podido escoger una mejor opción para nuestro hospedaje en Atenas Nada
