Robert (10/5): Value for the money, a real gem of a stay. - The room was cozy, comfortable, quiet. Delightful staff. The special onsen is an outstanding benefit and provided supreme relaxation. There is nothing to dislike!
Denise (9/5): - Breakfast was delicious, hot springs were clean and hot and not overcrowded. Staff was kind and very accommodating. They were able to hold our luggage shipped from another hotel for multiple days. The pillows were very hard. We did request another, softer pillow and they gave us one that was slightly less hard. They did not provide slippers for indoor use. Also, the rooms were small and there is a sensor light when you get up to go to the bathroom. Would not recommend the double bed for two people.

J. (7/5): Bel hôtel d'inspiration traditionnelle légèrement excentré - L'hôtel est beau et bien entretenu, les personnes à la réception étaient agréables et le "onsen" est un gros plus !! A "proximité" de la Tokyo Skytree et du temple Asakusa (magnifique !) Mais, pour ma part, l'hôtel est trop excentré si l'on souhaite découvrir d'autres quartiers de Tokyo malgré la ligne de métro.

Josh (8/5): A nice and clean hotel in a fantastic location with an interesting roller coaster neighbour - Great location mere minutes walk from the Asakusa line and right in the historic district. The check-in process was fairly easy and painless, and the onsen was lovely (or so my wife tells me, I didn't partake). We got the breakfast our last day there, which was so lovely. This was the only accommodation during my trip to Japan where shoes were not permitted inside the hotel. While I appreciate that that improves cleanliness, I wish it had been communicated prior to arrival. In typical Tokyo fashion, the room was small, but still smaller than I expected for the price. There is an amusement park with a loud roller coaster literally feet from your window. Thankfully they stop at I think 22:00 but still it was a bit jarring.

CELIANE (9/5): Perfect hotel in the heart of Asakusa - The hotel exceeded my expectations! Our room had an incredible view, it was comfortable and large for a Japanese hotel room. The location is perfect even if it is in a very touristy area. Public transportation included bus and train. Staff was wonderful. I also liked that we had to take off our shoes at the entrance, it keeps the hotel very clean and is a great introduction to Japanese culture (no shoes allowed on tatami mats). They served a breakfast buffet. They had an onsen which is rare in Tokyo. It would help if we could see the name of the hotel on the outside.

Jean (5/5): Standard big hotel with self check in and out. - We had a nice room on a top floor. The bathroom and beds were clean and the showers and shampoo etc was of nice quality . I hate to leave negative comments but I’ll admit that in all of our travel in Japan, I was quite surprised with the anonymity of staying here. It’s difficult to find the entry and in fact we went to another nearby hotel that our map app directed us to. A very kind employee from the first hotel actually walked us over to this hotel as it was a busy festival day and she could see we were lost. When we arrived we were directed to use self check in and the same ( self check out) when we checked out even though there was no one at the desk. We tried to say hello or at least nod hello when we arrived and went ( as all other hotels in Japan so nicely do) but no one even looks up from the desk when people come or go. I’m sure the staff is very nice but the way the system is set up, it’s quite impersonal and there is little to no interaction. Asakusa is a busy touristy area so I think if I were to come again I would probably choose a different hotel next time.

Love the location, it was close to Sensoji Temple, restaurants i wanted to try, Uniqlo, Donki. Its very clean too. The unlimited icecream, matcha coffee/tea, and yakult was a really nice treat. Breakfast was yummy and worth it Nothing

Mitchell (10/5): An exceptional hot-spring, food, and accomodation experience all around. - Onyado Nono Asakusa was my first onsen hotel, and it exceeded my expectations. Check-in was seamless, and all of the staff were very friendly. Asakusa is a great location outside of central Tokyo to explore Japan's culture and smaller neighborhoods. After long days, coming back to great service, a relaxing and clean hot spring with a sauna and large public bath, and an all-you-can-eat style buffet, this hotel checked off every box I needed to make my stay enjoyable. Cleaning is an extra fee, but honestly I really only have good things to say about this hotel.

Donald (10/5): - Located in the perfect spot to explore Asakusa, Sensoji Temple, Skytree, and local shopping and entertainment on foot. Clean, efficient, traditional hotel design made the stay feel very authentically Japanese. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The onsen does not allow guests who have tattoos (like me). Although I understand this is a common rule with cultural roots, I wonder if it is possible to make exceptions for foreigners who wish to experience the onsen.

Everything was so clean, even the suitcase wheels are cleaned before entering the hotel! My mum and I shared a double room and it was comfortable for us. I loved the free ice cream and ramen.

Franca Mara Lena (7/5): Für wenige Nächte ok, wenn man etwas mit Onsen möchte - Gute Lage mitten in Asakusa mit mehreren Metro-Linien in der Nähe. Angenehmer Onsen. Nettes Personal. Leckere Nudelsuppe am Abend. Das Zimmer war wirklich winzig und hatte kein gemütliches Ambiente, sodass man am liebsten nicht viel Zeit dort verbringen wollte. Die Tatami-Böden sahen schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aus und im Zimmer war es teilweise sehr staubig. Das Kopfkissen war steinhart. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht stimmig.

It is important to know that you have to take off your shoes every time you enter and the hot spring does get busy at night. I don't mind taking my shoes off so I really enjoyed my stay. The complimentary ramen and ice cream were also delicious. There were some stains on the tatami mat.

Jason (10/5): Great way to experience Tokyo as a newbie. The onsen is nice and the staff are wonderful. - Very friendly staff, very kind to foreigners. Complimentary ramen at night. Worth trying the breakfast at least once if you’ve never experienced Japanese breakfast. Great location by the shrine, near the alley shops and a popular shopping street with Don Quixote, many restaurants, Uniqlo. The location and its annex are right next door to each other. You will remove your shoes at the front and keep them in lockers at the entrance. Everything is very clean and respectful. Tip for foreigners: you can wear the yakata outfit through the hotel. They are comfortable. Also, the slippers in your room are only to use in your bathroom. There is a small amusement park with rides next to it, so during the day you may hear the screams of excitement from dozens of children. Do not worry, they are having fun.
