They have a very attentive team on the front of house/concierge - shout out and thank you to Martin, Franco, Gisella and Thiago. Martin runs a great team who couldn’t have been more helpful organising bookings for us across the city and Thiago was always on hand, around to help out. Thanks guys - sincerely appreciated.

369leel (10/5): Excellent Hotel - I spent 5 nights here before my Antarctic cruise and 3 nights afterwards. The room was nice large with a great rainfall shower which got a lot of use after going out and walking around in the heat while sightseeing. There is also a mini fridge in the room to store stuff in. I had rooms on each side of the hotel, the back of the hotel at first and the second time facing the front and didn't really notice much noise. The street in front can be a bit busy if you are a late sleeper. Got free water every day and housekeeping would stop each night and offer additional cans if you needed it. I enjoyed the breakfast as a French hotel they had an excellent array of breads and pastries and I tried something different every morning. Staff was excellent helping me with directions. I had a late flight so on my last day after check out I stored my luggage and was able to shower and change into fresh clothes in the spa before leaving to catch my flight. When my driver was late showing up to take me to the airport one of the bellmen jumped in and made sure they were on their way on would be there soon. For location it is right in the heart of Recoleta and I walked to almost all the sights I wanted to see. There are two restaurant areas with multiple places to eat fairly close buy. I will 100% stay here again if I come back to Buenos Aires

Прекрасное месторасположение. Рядом самый крутой торговый центр, в пешей доступности мишленовский мясной ресторан. Сам район - один из лучших. следует учитывать, что отель - это некий перевалочный центр для тех, кто путешествует по Арггентине, на юг. Поэтому много туристов. Либо мы попали в такой период.

CaroleCanham (10/5): Beautiful Sofitel Hotel in Recoleta - Sofitel Recoleta didn't disappoint - from check in, to our gorgeous room and huge bathroom to our turndown with chocolates all luxury. Dinner was up there with superb attentive service and breakfast way too many choices.

cka1988 (10/5): Fantastic Stay - Very nice hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights prior to our cruise. We ate an afternoon meal in the hotel restaurant on the first day, and it was excellent! I would like to dine there again! I would like to stay at this hotel again; the staff was beyond friendly, service was excellent and the rooms were roomy and comfortable!

lyndad185 (10/5): Perfect dinner at Alma inside Sofitel Recoleta Buenos Aires. - We stayed at the Sofitel Recoleta Buenos Aires before joining our cruise. The Hotel is wonderful! We enjoyed eating dinner twice at Alma inside the hotel. Alma was the perfect place for a delicious and wonderful dinner. We were lucky to have our server, Ekaterina, both nights. Her suggestions both nights were perfect and service was excellent, we will miss having dinner at Alma.

We do not eat late here is U.S. The hotel opened the restaurant 1/2 hour early 🥰 for us. The staff-especially Ekaterina & Iara. They were quick, no mistakes & took care of every special request gladly. I’m saving up to come to Sofitel Hotel in Buenos Aires again 🤩💕
Trvltwo (10/5): Beautiful hotel and best customer service!! - What an absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location! The rooms are very comfortable with a huge bathroom, and a wonderful rainshower. However, the BEST thing about this hotel is the entire staff! I would give them 20 stars if I could. I have never experienced such wonderful customer service. A friend I was traveling with, fell and was transported to a local hospital. The staff took such amazing care of me, and my friend. I will never be able to thank them enough for their kindness, helpfulnes, and exceptional service I received during a very stressful couple of days. Although, the entire staff was so wonderful, I would especially like to thank Camila, Gisela, Jose Luiz, & Gimena You are the truly the best! Gracias!

We are nearing 70 years of age, and have countless hotel stays around the world. The Sofi Tel BA exceeds any previous stays. We truly hated to leave. The food is fantastic and fresh. We highly recommend this hotel. Awesome location too!!

Agustin (10/5): - Staff were attentive and always willing to help. All employees we encountered spoke English and Spanish which was amazing. Our room was cleaned daily and they did a great job. They also brought tea and chocolates daily to our room alongside more water or towels as needed. There were cookies upon arrival which was a nice touch. All water and sodas, tea, coffee in the room was free. Bed was also very comfortable and we had a shower and bathtub. They also give a free drink at the bar during your stay! Always a bonus. Bar inside the hotel opens around 5pm and closes at 1130pm, which is early for Argentina. It would be great if the hotel bar had longer opening hours. The drinks are great and staff are friendly so it's a shame it's not open longer.

sunflower12765 (10/5): Hotel next to designer shops - I loved this hotel. It's in a nice part of Buenos Aires city centre, close to shops and tourist areas, such as Recoleta cemetery where Eva Peron is buried. The rooms are large and well decorated and mine had a very big bathroom, with separate shower and bath. The bed was very comfortable. I did not eat dinner here as ate out, but the breakfasts were very nice, buffet style but you could request alternatives from a menu. Being from the UK I like tea with my breakfast, which had to be ordered separately. It was never a problem to request this from the waiting staff and one went out of her way to bring me a very nice mint tea one morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Buenos Aires.

philipr161 (10/5): Upscale without attitude - Very nice, upscale atmosphere without being snooty. All the staff was friendly and helpful even in their busy periods. Very clean all around. Room was nice, comfortable bed and bedding, The bathroom had a nice rain shower, good quality towels, amenities of average quality, but the doors to the rooms close very loudly. Included breakfast was excellent, the Bar was upscale but relaxed, and the Pattiserie in the lobby also excellent. BTW... Directly across the street is the Patio Bullrich, very upscale stores with a nice food area and an excellent Gelateria.

CHICKENPARM41 (10/5): Splendid Stay in Buenos Aires - Stayed here for 5 nights while on a Gate 1 tour of Patagonia. 4 nights to start and 1 to end it. Great place and location. You can walk to pretty much everything you want to see or where you want to eat. Including to the Obelisk and the many parks to the East. First and foremost a major shoutout to the Concierge, Martin Rey. What a nice, cordial and professional man. He was instrumental in recommending several fantastic Argentinian restaurants for securing the best steak, empanada and Italian Food during a decent dining hour. Muchas Gracias Martin! Tu eres el Rey! Hotel room was nice. We were on the 6th floor at the beginning and on the 4th at the end. 6th floor was okay, but the 4th was too close to the street noise. Hotel is quiet at night, with the exception of the loud lady next door, practically yelling on the phone, at 11 pm the first night. I knocked on her door and told her that she was being loud. She apologized and stopped. Bed was comfy. The TV had tons of direct tv channels. Shower was good and water was nice and hot. Soap and Gel dispensers are provided. Robes and slippers are also provided. Housekeepers were all exceptionally nice. Especially Marianela. She let me borrow her 3 adapter plugs for 2 weeks during our expedition and I returned them to her on our last day. Muchas Gracias Marianela! 2 cans of water are provided to the room each day. Towels were not consistently nice. First couple of days, our towels were much newer and fluffier. After that we received tired, worn and flat towels. Breakfast, the buffet and the service was outstanding. Again, the morning service crew was amazing. Very professional. Kept my coffee cup filled the entire time. They had made to order eggs and they were delicious. The rest of the breakfast spread was very abundant. We did have dinner there on our last night at the hotel. It was a bit disappointing. The steak was not so good. Certainly, not as good as the local Argentinian restaurants. It was fatty and chewy. The service that evening wasn't that great either. We could not check in early, but they gladly held our bags for us and allowed us to use the exercise room locker room and showers. We could not check out late, but again, they gladly held our bags for us and allowed us to use the exercise room locker room and showers. They were definitely being as accommodating as they could. Everyone was cordial and professional. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel. Gracias!
M3291YXnicholasm (10/5): Great Steaks & Service - My family had dinner at the Sofitel and it was amazing! Ekaterina was our waitress and she was absolutely the best! All of the food was very good and the steaks were some of the best we have ever had. Highly recommend this place for dinner.

We were given electrical adaptors on check but hardly suitable for heavy laptop chargers. Two elevators for the size of the hotel totally inadequate. Positives - food and service at the Alma restaurant very good.

Mia (5/5): Kein zu empfehlendes Hotel - Das Personal (außer Rezeption) spricht kaum Englich. Die Kommunikation war schwierig. Das Hotel ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, unsere Juniosuite hat 740€/Nacht gekostet, völlig überteuert!! Das Frühstücksbuffet entspricht einem 3* Hotel, keine Abwechslung. Ich würde nicht wieder kommen…. S.o.
