- Jacob Marinus (10/5): Perfecte locatie in Asakusa! - De centrale ligging net aan de andere kant van de rivier maar binnen 5 minuten zit je in Asakusa en bij de verschillende metrolijnen. Hierdoor ben je gemakkelijk en snel overal in Tokio. De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien om je kleren te wassen en je eten te koken. De temperatuur (in mei) begon al aardig op te lopen en dan was de aanwezig airco een fijne toevoeging. De TV hing in het slaapgedeelte waar ook de kleine sliep. Hierdoor konden wij 's avonds geen tv kijken omdat zij hier anders van wakker zou worden. In de keuken was een kleine tafel met stoelen dit was voor ons een betere optie geweest om de tv in de keuken te hebben hangen. Wanneer je als stel zonder kinderen reist is dit geen probleem maar met kinderen toch wel passen en meten!

Lighter sleepers should be ok As others have mentioned, there is no elevator in the building

- Matteo (8/5): Great location, in the center of Asakusa - Super convenient location, 5 min walking distance away from major metro stops (Asakusa). The house has all needed for a sufficient stay, eg washing machine (no dryer though, but there is the possibility of hanging clothes in the bathroom and using the internal fan system to ensure they dry during the night), stoves, microwave oven, hairdryer, fridge/freezer. Communication with the host very frequent, and self check in procedure super fast. Various Konbinis super close to the location. The apartment was very dark (poor external light), especially the kitchen (no window at our specific apartment, sitting at the first floor - even if the host said 2nd floor, but that's the way it works in Japan we understood). The towels provided were only 2 medium and 2 small, which for a stay of 5 nights is barely sufficient. We asked the host to have at least 1 more set of towel, but he/she was firm on the baseline policy (poor attentiveness). The trash bin were also too small, especially the one for the "burning" trash - we could have used a bigger one (but this is no biggy).

- YW (8/5): 整體而言相當滿意，下回若到淺草會想再入住! - 1. 地點: 地點就在淺草梧棲橋的另一端，只要走約5-6分鐘過橋就能直接抵達淺草站的地鐵出入口。從機場搭Access Express可以搭到本所梧棲橋站下車，走路大約10分鐘內可到，沿途就算拖著行李也不會太麻煩。 2. 環境: 就在鬧區旁，但是非常安靜，沒有聽到任何一點來自外面的噪音。 3. 衛生: 浴室、洗臉台、洗衣機、廁所都非常乾淨，非常滿意。 4. 設備: 浴室內可以預熱洗澡間，也能夠讓浴室乾燥，很快就能夠讓潮濕的浴巾或者洗好的衣服乾燥。 5. 安全: 附近治安非常好，公寓房門也都用電子密碼鎖，非常方便，不需要攜帶鑰匙。 1. 上下樓: 所幸我們的房間在2樓，公寓的樓梯非常狹窄，如果有大皮箱的旅客，需要用些技巧才有辦法拿上去，僅容一人通行，沒有電梯。 2. 照片上看起來房間相當寬敞，且描述有說可至多住3個人，但是我們覺得兩個人就已經是極限，第三個人只能睡床墊，幸好我們只有兩個人。 3. 廚房有一張桌子，靠牆只能坐兩個人。桌子有點太小，但是擺在空間裡又很佔空間，還是建議至多2個人會比較舒適。 4. 床墊是屬於比較軟的，不過可能該換新的了。靠外側的地方只要一坐就整個陷下去，完全沒有任何彈性，但是內側還有，很可能外側都被睡塌了。

- Lauren (7/5): A great location and sweet room - This place was in a fantastic location and had very friendly staff. It was so lovely having a little kitchenette and being so close to Asakusa station so we could come and go quite easily especially with the Asahi brewery being right across the road. It was a comfortable place to stay. The traditional bathroom with the showerhead not over the bathtub wasn't our favourite and the large bright exit sign in the lounge room that shines right into the bedroom wasn't great for my partner who struggles to sleep in a lit up room. The staff, while super friendly, aren't that accommodating when it comes to earlier check-in or later check-out especially given check-in. That is what you get though for staying in a house rather than going to a hotel that has more flexibility. I don't think we'd stay here again not because it was bad but because we know of nicer places in the area. This place would be perfect for others though so I definitely recommend staying here if you're interested.

- Matteo (8/5): Very close to Senso-Ji temple, clean, comfortable, but difficult to access with heavy luggages. - I liked the location, very close to the Senso-Ji temple. I also like the equipments inside the flat and the fact that the flat is very clean and comfortable. The washing machine works perfectly and the toilet is in a separated room with respect to the shower so that they can be used by two people at the same time. The flat is at the first floor of a very steep and narrow stair with no elevator. The steps are high, and it is quite difficult to carry the luggages to the first floor. Even carrying them down is complicated. The flat is a long rectangle and in the room there is a double room plus a sofa bed. There is not much place where to leave the luggages, particularly for three people.

- Surapat (10/5): A pleasent stay at CALM Asakusa - Super clean, super nice location(can walk to Sensoji Temple). Big room size. Got all the facility. Super cool bath tub. All great. Competitive price 👍👍 If you stay many days, they got bed sheets, towels , hand towel and pillow for you to change it by yourself... Stairs going up/down is a bit too narrow if you got big size luggage..
- Kikuno (8/5): 宿泊自体は満足行くものだった。ただ、上記の点があったため、少し残念だった。改善されていれば、また利用したいと思った。 - とにかく立地がよかった。駅からも近く、景色も良い、スーパーも近い。観光地にあるので、何だかオトクな気持ちになる。 まずチェックインしてすぐ、室内が臭かった。強い香水のような匂いがした。消臭スプレーなのかわからないが、換気しても、匂いが全然取れない。 キッチンとベッドの電気(片方)が切れていた。 テレビのHDMIケーブルを指すところが壊れていた。 料理ができ、快適だったが、料理するのにかなり使うおたまがなかった。日本人以外も宿泊することを考えても、フォークもあると良いのではと思った。

- Hugh S (8/5): Nice space, fine location. A nice calm locale to base yourselves in Tokyo. - Asukasa had a nice feel to it. It's a "railroad apartment"--one long room--but all spaces functioned well. Bed was very nice. Nice neighboorhood just a ten minute or less walk across a pretty river to the metro, with another just three minutes more. The heater/AC is in Japanese with no translation. Google Translate can only do so much in that situation. A 'primer' for this, and perhaps other amenities, would be ideal. Otherwise, all good!

- Archie (10/5): Perfect, location was excellent so close to train line but in a quieter part of ASAKUSA. - Everything we needed! Very nice small apartment. 3 seperate rooms. And spacious for Japan! Pillows were very soft but that’s if we had to be picky.

Being on the ground floor, all windows and curtains should be closed that made you living in a dark room all day!! If living on a higher floor, you must carrying heavy luggage up the spiral staircase difficulty and email communication was unavailable !

- Cecilia (9/5): - This place is very convenient, accessible and very clean. The station and lots of places to visit in asakusa are walking distance. The host is very understanding and checking on us of what we need. I'll recommend this place. Will be good to have an english translation on how to use the washing machine and drier so that no need to use google lens everytime you'll use it. Besides from this, the place is recommended.

I would recommend it for two adults, or two adults with one child. - The location is excellent. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to a 7-Eleven and within walking distance to Asakusa Temple. There are also many restaurants and shops conveniently located around the hotel. - The property owner is extremely kind and supportive. Communication was very easy, with very quick responses, which made it convenient to ask questions and get assistance. - There is a coin-operated water vending machine located in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. - The entrance road is quite narrow, and at night you can hear some traffic noise from passing cars. Sounds from outside the building are fairly noticeable, but still at an acceptable level. - There is no luggage storage available, so it’s best to plan your arrival time carefully or arrange alternative luggage storage in advance.

- 한 (10/5): - 매우 깨끗하고 생활 구역이 나눠진 것이 좋았습니다. 침구도 1인용 요이불이 따로 있었던 것도 친구들과 놀러오기 너무 좋았습니다. 길가에서 안쪽으로 들어간 숙소여서 따로 사진을 대표 패이지에서 안내하는 것도 좋을거 같아요. 배게가 좀 낮아서 요것만 아쉬웠습니다.

- Vatna (8/5): - The location is great. Mostly near the tourist attractions and train station too which makes it easy for me to go around the city and visit many places in one day. It’s not about the facilities or the host or something but the last night I slept, it was terrible someone that stayed upstairs was making too much noise, disturbed my sleep.
- Nemia (6/5): Expensive but not comfortable stay! - The location is perfect! That's the only advantage! NO ELEVATOR you have to struggle carrying your luggages to the 3rd floor. We stayed 3 nights only 1 thin towel is provided for each person 👎. The pillow is small and thin and the beddings there is a smell. The floor mattress is also thin not comfortable to sleep. Very expensive stay but we not satisfied for the value of the money we paid! We better stay in the hotel with nice bed.

- Brinton (9/5): Loved the stay & ease of access. - Location was perfect. Close to train stations & shopping was only a few blocks away. Room was clean, and instructions were fairly clear on everything. Down pillows are nice but maybe a couple more pillows of different firmness would be nice (poly-fill or memory foam). Bed was a little too firm for me. A set of wine glasses would be more romantic.

Good facilities. Good to be able to wash clothes and make a cup of tea. Bed was comfortable. The light outside the room kept us awake at times.

Clean, enough space (its Tokyo and space is sparse) and a close to Asakusa station, litterally just across the bridge, which is a nice walk to start and end your day with. Short walk to Sensō-ji and surrounding area. Kappabashi and Skytree within walking distance aswell.
