• Luciana (10/5): Excelente custo benefício - O hotel é muito bem localizado: 10 minutos da estação, 20 minutos casa Anne Frank e 25 da rua red street, tudo a pé, não peguei transporte para nada. Até para Heineken experience que é um pouco mais longe uns 45 minutos foi a pé. Hotel é moderno,bonito, quarto confortável, ar condicionado muito bom e café da manhã excelente. Funcionários super solícitos ganhamos até um mimo no final da estadia. Nenhum ponto negativo

The window of the room was very located close to the ceiling and was very small. The room was listed as a “city view room” but the view is not available because of the positioning of the window. No need to pay extra for a city view.

I was very touched that they had written me a birthday card and left some macaroons for me and my husband - they were delicious. Well located for trams to the central station, which came every few minutes. |Breakfast was varied and tasty but got very busy from 8.30-9.00 - advise to eat earlier. Rooms were quite small but bed was v comfortable.We would stay here again.

Bathroom was well set up and water was hot with good pressure. Breakfast included was very good with loads of choices. Would definitely stay here again.

• Debra (8/5): The location was perfect for shopping, eating a variety of foods, and walking to tour meet up locations. - The location was very convenient for anything we wanted to do. The staff were not always easy to work with, but we’re polite. The decor of the rooms was very unusual with a very loud carpeting on one wall and a toilet that was difficult to get to in the bathroom. They also had some weird rules about coffee cups from the lobby being taken up to your room. They had an espresso machine in the lobby, but wouldn’t allow you to take a cup of espresso up to your room. You could go up to your room and bring down your coffee mug from the room to the lobby to get a cup from that espresso machine, but you couldn’t take one from the lobby to your room. There was a Nespresso machine in the room and a tea kettle though so it wasn’t a huge deal just an inconvenience.

• binkster44 (8/5): Great location - Great central location, wonderful breakfast, very nice lobby area to relax in. The room was clean. It was small, but that was expected from the description. There were opportunities to increase the storage space with more shelves, hooks and luggage racks. The exterior doorknob was ridiculously hard to turn. It took two hands and a lot of effort. Also, the step down from the shower was quite steep.
• leog94 (10/5): Two steps from everywhere - Very comfortable hotel near Amsterdam Ceentral Station and few meters from the DAM plaza.The hotel has been very clean and the staff very helping. I had a problem the first night because the room was very small ( not available rooms at my arrival ) but the employ at the concierge promptly moved me the day after in a more comfortable room. Good breakfast ( at least you can find almost anything you need ) .Mention to the coffee/Tea/cappuccino machine available for free at the reception.... very useful after the checkout waiting for departure time or during the day . Overall a good choice
• M1710GAandreac (10/5): Brilliantly located city centre hotel Amsterdam - Fantastic hotel in a brilliant central area of Amsterdam with easy walking distance to everything. Tram stop right outside also. Friendly staff, lovely reception area with free tea, coffee, water, croissants and access to borrow games. Reasonably priced little shop selling bottles of wine etc reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast was amazing! Everything available from cooked breakfast items to pastries to fruit to breads, cereals, pancakes incredible. Nice fresh coffee machine too. The bedrooms were quiet too. Comfy bed. We didn’t hear anyone else or corridor noise. Although trams pass right outside they are also very quiet. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Con un po' di calma ed ordine anche il letto va rifatto per bene. Peccato ma questo proprio non mi e' piaciuto

• Richwestmids (8/5): Great Location - Location - 5 minutes to railway station. 5 minutes to Dam Square. 5 minutes to Jordaan and only 20 minutes walk to Museum Quarter. Perfect for city sightseeing break. Room - compact but adequate. Bathroom very clean. Nespresso machine nice touch. But the walls in the bedroom were really dirty - need a scrub door or repaint - let the room down. Room was also at the back with window onto internal courtyard which made the room very dark. No street noise but noise from adjacent lift and other guests especially the banging of doors. Breakfast - good. Enough choice. Staff- friendly Hotel punches above its weight for a 3 stay and I would recommend for a short break but they need to not let the cleaning standards slip.

Beaucoup de bruits pour les chambres donnant côté rue à l’arrière de l’hôtel où vous avez en plus vue sur les prostituées en vitrine

• terrylO4283OM (8/5): Great location but rooms need to be spruced up. - The hotel is located in the city center which is the perfect place to explore all of Amsterdam. The rooms need to be update, especially the carpeting and the beds which are uncomfortable. The bathroom was very nice.
• sandrakayl2026 (4/5): Not enjoyable. - The staff didn’t have our room ready until 70 minutes past our check in time of 3pm. The lady working reception was constantly bombarded for well an hour by disgruntled guests who were not allowed to check in on time due to the housekeeping issues. She did keep her cool and constantly was put on the spot. The hotel itself was clean and acceptable. However this location is anything but quiet at night. We either had the window open to cool the room down or open and couldn’t sleep due to noise even fighting at street level. Constant shouting went on for hours. I would not recommend this hotel nor stay again.

Vicino alla stazione e piazza Dam ma tutto raggiungibili a piedi con un bella passeggiata. Il personale è stato sempre gentile, hanno anche a disposizione caffè e acqua con limone gratis. La stanza non molto grande ma nemmeno piccolissima, in due ci si poteva muovere. Se dovessi tornare ad Amsterdam sicuramente risceglierei questo hotel. Unica pecca poca illuminazione nella stanza e nel bagno.

Breakfast was really good. One of the really good things was the complimentary amenities, coffee, water, fresh fruit was always available in reception for you to help yourself. Thought this was a really nice touch. The room was small but more than adequate for the amount of time actually spent in there. Would definitely come back.

Breakfast was pure chaos. Bad set up, lots of empty food containers, heavy cast iron lids to have to deal with. Asked Manger, Sjoerd, for assistance during breakfast. Was told (I quote) "do it yourself, im not your slave". Tiny rooms! The biggest positive was the location.

• DaveA504 (10/5): Mid-Week break in Amsterdam - A welcome and friendly hotel, clean, tidy and the staff are first class, well situated, about 10 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station.
• Mattias (5/5): - Trevligt hotell med väldigt bra läge. Nära till centralstation och trevlig personal Första rummet vi fick var väldigt litet. Saknade skohorn på rummet.

• Christa Raahauge (8/5): Udemærket hotel til prisen - Fin beliggenhed Værelse på 6 etage har meget støj fra udluftning på tag. 2 personer fra personalet havde en uoverensstemmelse foran os, da vi tjekkede ind. Ikke særlig professionelt. Rengøringen lukkede sig ind på værelset, uden at kontrollere om der var nogen. Meget ubehageligt
• charlottebK1103YD (2/5): £1600 for 3 hours sleep - Hotel has a lot of potential, it looks nice and is in a great location. Service was terrible, every single time we needed anything from the desk we stood around for ages waiting for 1 person to slowly serve someone, never saw more than 1 person helping customers though often could see/hear other staff around. Our room was a joke, it should NOT have been a bedroom. Directly opposite the stairs with a very loud door and no sign saying please be quiet etc. I think I got about 3 hours sleep in two nights it was none stop, every time I started to fall asleep there would be a loud bang a few feet away and voices that sounded like they were in the room it was so loud. We just didn't have time to wait to speak to Reception after the first night it was taking so long. We asked for our rooms not to be cleaned and they were anyway, which was unnerving as we hadn't expected someone in the room. We booked and were told there would be a local tax at the hotel to pay which we expected to be around 60 euros and when we arrived were told it was about 130 euros (for 2 nights city tax?!). They took 550euros 2 weeks ago into a hold in my bank account that they still haven't released several days after we returned from the hotel; despite us paying in full when we booked. As this is in 'hold' I can't access the money and speaking to my bank they tell me the hotel have to request that it's released, but they didn't answer when I phoned and haven't responded to an email. I have no idea if or when I'll get this money back, but I've basically paid £1600 for 3 hours sleep as it stands.

• CovCat2010 (8/5): Great central but quiet location. - Really good location to get around Amsterdam or out of the city. Friendly staff, good security at the hotel. It was clean with a lovely reception area offering sweets, hot drinks and water. Our room was quite small with the window facing a wall so little light came in. The air conditioning wasn't really air con. The room was hot. I would have preferred proper chairs rather than plastic ones and a small table for extra room. As the bathroom has a glass door with a gap, you have to be very friendly with the person you are staying with - lol. It was a quiet hotel even though on a busy street. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on that offering. They offer a very secure room to leave luggage if you arrive early or have a late flight home.
• Claudine, Paul (3/5): Would not recommend - Location, location, location Manager,Sjoerd was extremely rude. Breakfast was chaos! Room was not serviced, despite the receptionist asking if we would like it done. Rooms are tiny
• Marianna (9/5): Központi helyen lévő, kényelmes, tiszta és barátságos hotel - Központi elhelyezkedés és pár perc sétára a Central Station-től. Remek reggeli minőségi termékekből. Napközben is kávézási lehetőség a recepció előtt, limonádéval és sütivel, almával kiegészítve. Ha jeleztük, hogy takarítást kérünk, sajnos volt egy alkalom, hogy figyelmen kívül hagyták a kérésünk, emiatt aznap este nem volt tusfürdőnk és a szemetes is nagyon tele lett. Valamint reggeli kávékapszulánk sem volt így a szobában:(

• LesleyC01 (8/5): Great location. - The hotel was in a great location to get around Amsterdam. Although our room was on the street side we did not get disturbed by any noise from it and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast had plenty of choice and the staff were attentive and helpful. The reception staff were also helpful and dealt with any queries quickly and efficiently.
