- Julie (8/5): Lovely hotel, but be prepared to travel to points of interest - Lovely pool, staff were great, nice room location I thought it would be a nicer area, with more amenities. We visited Kazu Nori close by for food which was great but everything else was a long walk or cycle or uber away
- Deborah (10/5): Lovely, quiet room on the marina - Quiet rooms with plush towels and robe. The bed and linens were comfortable. Everything was very clean. The SALT restaurant was excellent with very friendly and attentive staff. Parking is $52 a night. The clerk at the front desk gave us a room on the first floor facing the parking lot and behind the cafe. We requested a different room from a different clerk and were put on the third floor.

- Les (9/5): Good hotel in heart of Marina del Rey - Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel (we were there at start and end of our holiday). Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Location is good as right in the heart of the Marina - lots of good walks by the sea close by. Also close to Venice / Venice Beach - 5/10 mins by Uber or an easy bike ride - the hotel has bikes for hire. We were really lucky that we got complimentary hires as there was a bit of disruption in the hotel on the day (smoke detector testing) and managed to cycle to Santa Monica and back on very good cycle route. The pool and jacuzzi were very good, and also a nice bar with terrace looking out to the Marina. There are no rates including breakfast. There is a small coffee shop at the hotel with a small selection of pastries - but there are other breakfast options close by - Alfred Cafe is good. There is a car park but is Valet Parking only - so a charge for this plus tips.

- Jessica (8/5): Fint och mysigt mindre hotell med lugnt läge - Ett bra hotell med ett lugnt läge då det inte ligger direkt vid en trafikerad väg. Rent och välstädade rum med en balkong som är ett stort plus. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Fick mycket snabbt levererat det som vi efterfrågade vilket vi uppskattade. Gick smidigt att ta sig till och från flygplatsen. Parkering en aningen dyr vid hotellet då det är endast valet parking. Men det finns en stor allmän parkering inte långt därifrån. Endast 5 dollar/24h. Men det finns vissa restriktioner så läs dem noga. Hotellet är slitet och skulle behöva en hel del uppfräschning och därav inte riktigt värt det höga priset. Sängarna var skrangliga och ibland var man lite rädd att de skulle trilla ihop. Det är ett hundvänligt hotell där de även tillåter hundar vid poolområdet på solsängarna i soffor vid baren mm. Inte så fräscht då man hade hundhår som fastnade överallt. Därav vågade vi heller inte äta på hotellet då min dotter är allergisk mot pälsdjur. Missade att kolla upp detta helt. Reagerade även på att det skulle vara ett rökfritt hotell även mot vaping. Det var folk vid poolområdet som satt och vapade utan att personal sa till. Fast de såg det.

- StephGrise (10/5): Perfect mother-daughter weekend - My daughter and I took a trip to CA to visit colleges and we stayed at Marina Del Rey. It was perfect. All of the food was delicious, we loved the pool, the team was so nice. We borrowed the bikes and rode around the marina. And she noted how comfortable the mattresses and sheets were. Would definitely stay there again.
- MPinfold (8/5): - Stayed here for New Year’s Eve as it’s close to Burton Chace Park for the fireworks display and light festival. The hotel was good, the staff were all friendly, and the room was simple but clean and a good size. It’s also in a decent location for driving to Venice Beach and Santa Monica. There are a few restaurants within walking distance nearby in Waterside. The only downside was the $50 a night valet parking, which felt a bit unnecessary to me. I’m from the UK, so maybe I’m just not used to it, but the car was parked less than 25 metres away and visible from the hotel, so having someone collect it and bring it back felt absolutely pointless.

- 154amaniw (10/5): Marina Del Vibes ! - First off, beautiful location the view of the water was gorgeous along the marina with all of the boats. The people there made the atmosphere, it was so light and welcoming everyone there was so delightful it made my solo trip feel like I was coming there to friends and family. The place was also immaculately clean the lovely scent when you first walk into the lobby helped keep the beachy, marina narrative. Went to the bar and Reuben the bartender was a lovely guy ! He was very informative on places i should visit during my stay and Venice beach was but a 10 minute drive away. I love how close this hotel was to everything! Not to mention the valet service was on point ! I was there for a week and after seeing different valet guys, they all took the time to remember me and my vehicle! Santiago was one of the names I could remember he was very sweet, welcoming and fast , as all the others. With them being the first people you see before you enter the hotel, they couldnt have been a better bunch ! So happy to have had the pleasure to stay here for my first time visiting LA and definitely will not be my last.

- virika (6/5): Pleasant return to MDR - Great location. Love the vibe and the setting. Filming for a sitcom was taking place at the hotel and this caused huge issues. Lots of the areas were shut off and it was noisy and intrusive. The hotel staff were great but the filming staff were brusk and loud.

Special shout out to the Cafe, front desk, valet and manager! Also SALT restaurant was delicious! Will stay again! Loved the close proximity to shopping and the bikes! Lastly the pool! Wow!
- Q1187IDchrisk (10/5): Serenity, Style and Scenery in Marina Del Rey - So peaceful, clean, modern and comfortable. Close to everything, but removed from the beaten path. I couldn't recommend the Marina Del Rey Hotel more highly. My wife and I can't wait to return.

Our bar tender Salema is was a rockstar. The food is really good. The atmosphere is calming and beautiful. The bed was amazing. I will stay there again. The best expresso martini I have ever had. You need to stay here.
- DMBlock (10/5): Magic at the Marina Del Rey Hotel - A return trip to the MDRH to celebrate a special birthday milestone was another huge success. The staff, overseen by the very astute general manager named Mo, are there to exceed your every request. You almost feel like you are in an episode of Friends as you are always greeted with a smile and often your name by everyone from the valet service to the reception desk. Special recognition to Nancy, the best concierge I’ve met, as well as the entire front desk staff who are too numerous to name. The valet staff is also top notch and is very convenient. Grateful to the young ladies working the café who provided delicious lattes every morning. You also won’t want to miss the great live entertainment by the fire pits every Wednesday through Friday evening. But one of our favorite things to do is lay by the pool and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the docks while catching a glimpse of the sunbathing seals. Magic!

- T4024BVjeng (8/5): Valet….. - Jose A, Nick + Abel are amazing valet and incredibly helpful and patient, as I never carry cash and the do not have a QR code for tips (think this would be a great idea for the valet, as most people no longer carry cash.)
