The bedding never clean horrible smells on the property every where. Very bad energy haunted nightmares and the other disturbances toliet flushing slow. Total abandon not well kept.. sunken bed mattress very poor very high rates over $49 per night... extra security fees etc??.. Old stain carpet.. past due subject to change new elevators renovations steps or new building must be done. The most ruin down La Quinta hotel don't meet the criteria advertised needs to be improved schedule etc.. No free stay offer here just terrible results and yet I'm still itchy while I stay here extra problems not fixed?

• Erwin (1/5): bad employee - nothing Terrible service and an incredibly frustrating experience. The person working at the front desk was extremely rude, discourteous, and had absolutely no desire to help. When I got to my room, I discovered the shower was filthy. I went back down immediately to ask them to send housekeeping or move me to another room. The receptionist, with an incredibly arrogant attitude, told me that no cleaners were available and that they were completely booked. However, just seconds later, a couple walked in asking for a room, and he gave them one right in front of my face. Seeing this, I wanted to leave and demanded a refund back to my card. He flatly refused. I told him I hadn't even been in the room for a single minute, and he falsely claimed it had already been 10 minutes. When I argued that it was only a minute, he dismissively said, "You can leave if you want, but I cannot give you your money back." To avoid losing my money, I was forced to stay, and I had to clean the shower and the dirty toilet myself. Extremely poor service, I absolutely do not recommend this place.

• Detlef (5/5): Mittelmäßig. - Der Pool. Das Hotel befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Flughafen und dor ist es naturgemäß sehr laut. Das Frühstück war sehr spärlich. Im Wesentlichen Toast und Waffeln. Der Shuttle Service bzw. die Kommunikation ist verbesserungswürdig. Eine einfache Beschreibung - z.B.: Am Flughafen auf der 1. Ebene, 3. Straße für Hotel und Shuttleservice, Immer um 15 Minuten nach einer vollen Stunde - hätte viel Ärger erspartr. Unser Verlauf war folgender: Beim 1. Anruf um 15:00 Uhr habe ich gesagt, wir stehen an der Tür 6 vor der Abflughalle. Antwort: Der Shuttle kommt in 20 Minuten. 2. Anruf nach 25 Minuten. Antwort: Wir müssten auf die Ebene 1 (Ankunftebene) gehen. Der Shuttle käme in ca. 10 Minuten. 3. Anruf wieder nach 15 Minuten: Antwort: Wir müssten zur "Third Lane" gehen, dort kommt der Shuttle um 16 Uhr. 4. Anruf um 16:05 Uhr. Antwort: Der Shuttle fährt immer zur vollen Stunde (hier dann um 16 Uhr) am Hotel los. Letztendlich sind wir dann um 16:15 Uhr in das Shuttle gestiegen.

The greeting at the desk was “ I need your ID” the place smelled , the employees were rude, did I mention rude? It was 10:15 pm, uber just left, please don’t ask how we got there… No Ac, no hot water , filthy room, drain in shower not working. Does it get better? Why yes it does! Leave a message to complain and nobody gets back to u. Miserable night… couldn’t get out of there fast enough but before the mad dash my wife took the manager apart piece by piece, she speaks fluent Spanish. Waiting for our refund, lol. Just say no, better to sleep at airport it’s cleaner.

I practically couldn’t sleep the night - it was truly terrible experience.

• Ruth (3/5): Will not stay in this hotel again - The older lady who helped me when I had inquiry was very calm and helpful, but the other younger ones (one guy and another lady) were very defensive and almost yelling at me when I was asking about hotel charges on my credit cards. Good thing the nicer lady came and explained to me that the transaction would be voided. The rest room does not have sink inside, so you have to get out of the restroom to wash hands after using the toilet. The room and bathroom are outdated. Nobody cleans the small breakfast area, so the tables are all dirty after the first batch of people had breakfast, with the trash all overflowing and nobody's emptying them or cleaning it. The breakfast is the worst breakfast I've been to.

Ho chiesto il cambio stanza perchè ho trovato di tutto, capelli, pezzi di piatti, peli, cibo, muffa, insetti. La seconda camera presentava la stessa situazione. È dovuto intervenire il ragazzo della hall per apire la porta perchè le tssere non sono funzionanti. Coridoi sporchi e macchiati. Hall in condizioni pietose, sporco ovunque, viene utilizzata per consumare la colazione perchè la stanza colazioni ospita pochissimi posti e la gente si appoggia ovunque per mangiare. Colazione ridicola, solo waffle (con fila chiaramente chilometrica) yogurt, fritatta, formaggio spalmabile e marmellata. Stop. Bevande annaquate. Abbiamo "mangiato" in camera. Ospiti visibilmente poco raccomandabili. Tutta la struttura ha arredi distrutti, logori e sporchi. Ho avuto paura a toccare le cose. Piscina sporchissima con arredi rotti lasciati li.

• 27thPsalm (2/5): Could not find a plus - Our stays at the La Quinta Inn and Suites Miami Airport East for one night on April 5, 2026, and three nights beginning April 10, 2026, were far beyond unsatisfactory. We were first assigned Room 304. The mattresses should have been disposed of five years ago. We called guest services and a manager/service representative reported to our room and I showed her the issues and asked her to try out the mattress. She too sunk straight in and could feel the wires on the edges of the mattresses. She then showed us Room 314; the mattresses in this room were doable. The issues with this room were the iron and the ironing board; both were broken. An employee came up and had difficulty finding replacements. The first iron he found had a scorched plate and the ironing board he found was broken as well. I suggested that he go to Room 304 as it did have an iron and an actual stand-up ironing board. He was able to gather an iron from another room and an ironing board from 304. The television in 304 was ready for full retirement and thank God we were moved to Room 314 as the television worked. The only issue was with the dish cable as the guide and channels did not match. It, for whatever reason, would rotate some of the shows to different channels. The bathroom had many issues starting with roaches, one was using the toilet before I could; a second grade toilet and toilet paper, near death towels and washcloths; a moldy tub stopper; a shower curtain that would not stay in place with a rod that appeared to be jerry-rigged as it did not properly fit into the brackets. Housekeeping never left two washcloths, only one, and you had to request a second. Continental breakfast is a total joke. The options are very slim; you can prepare a waffle, get a microwave egg, bread, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. The kitchen staff have an issue with telling the truth. The cups placed for the waffle batter had run out. When asking the attendant, he lied and said there were no more cups. We watched him open a cabinet full of cups. Another guest requested a tea bag, and he told him there were no more tea bags. We have stayed with other La Quinta locations before and have had much better experiences. This location would probably work better shut down for upgrades and renovations. While waiting for the 5:00 AM shuttle to the airport, we and others, including an airlines pilot asked for confirmation on the shuttle and it is leaving on time. The representative behind the desk, using his cell phone, told us all that it would be leaving at 5:00 AM. At around 4:50 AM he states that he forgot to tell us that the shuttle broke down. Poor business. Now everyone was calling for an Uber or Lyft in order to make their flights. Had I known that this La Quinta Miami Airport East was nasty, I would never have made one reservation, let alone two reservations. This experience has made me reconsider staying at any La Quinta Inn and Suites in the future. I urge management to take these concerns seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure guests are provided with a safe, clean, and honest environment.
