Hotel is a little quirky but fun and the room was really comfortable. Lighting in the room takes a bit of getting used to but this is only a minor point overall.

- Mathew (6/5): - Paying 800 euro + per night, I had expected service to be comparable to other 5 star boutique hotels. Reception was somewhat slow and there was no advice around a major event that would shut down easy road access to the hotel on the day of arrival. Chaos. No greeting at the door. One person working reception only. Hotel wasn’t particularly busy, but no room upgrade. Constantly bumping into cleaners in the hallways and lifts. Steam and Pool seemed to be frequently out of order. Service at the restaurant was poor. Even when not busy. All fine for a 3-4 star hotel, but this is not marketed as that - with pricing to match.

- Marc (8/5): - Lovely hotel in a brilliant area. Rooms are very dark, especially the toilet and sink area, which I understand is mood lighting but it gets in the way of practicality. Very comfortable and stylish though.
- Tara (2/5): Poorly renovated, unsafe, poor management - avoid! - Mice galore! Stayed on the first floor, which smells of chlorine from the very cold spa tub "pool" on the same floor. Saw two mice run through the corridor my first morning, makes sense for a hotel so newly renovated, and truly still working out its physical kinks (AC vents were not open in my room so it did not work, the sinks do not drain, phones are not all connected). Staff at the front desk mean well however the manager lacks empathy nor consideration for such a safety concern. The best part was at check out I was told they would refund one night of my stay, asked for confirmation - never heard from them again! Not surprisingly considering how unfazed they were by my room issues and my concern over mice. I have stayed at several Experimental hotels over the years, and in Paris every few months. So many better, cleaner stays near by and around. This opened too early and without consideration of quality and guest care.

The room was very spacious compared to what you would typically find in Paris. If you’re looking for a “traditional” Parisian hotel this isn’t it. We loved the neighborhood and the local food scene nearby. For reference, we left the Sinner to spend a few nights at the Park Hyatt Vendome which was twice the price however we enjoyed the Sinner much more!

I would give it five stars if not for a few quirks - the room lighting is absurdly complicated, and the bathroom incredibly dark (unless, of course, we just never figured out the lights in 5 days?!). And they blast music in the hallways 24/7, which you can absolutely hear in the rooms while trying to sleep. Lovely neighborhood to explore and near Metro.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing Stay at Sinner Paris! - Amazing stay at Sinner Paris. Easily among the coolest hotel experiences we've ever had, with a highlight being the randomized vinyl collection and turntable that was patched to every room, including the shower. Which also was the best rain shower we've ever had at a hotel. Location in the Marais was a safe, chic and fun neighborhood, and about 20 min walk to the Louvre. For many other parts of the city, you'll need a cab or an Uber but worth it for such a great say.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved staying at Sinner and even tried to stay there for longer—which they accommodated, but our other hotel sadly did not :( the staff was all extremely kind and helpful, the entire place was immaculate and looked brand new, and the room was absolutely gorgeous, felt spacious, and was so clean. The bathroom set up was incredible for sharing, and the separate shower/bath room was such a treat. The closet was stunning and had a light and tons of room. The attention to detail in the design of the room was so impressive, too, anticipating a guests every need to be as comfortable as possible. Super comfy beds, quiet, and we were greeted with a birthday champagne and cake in the room, AND gifted a gorgeous perfume (the whole hotel smells incredible)! The lobby does turn into a bit of a club atmosphere at night, especially on the weekend, but we found it very fun and it didn’t disturb our sleep. The only minor drawback is there isn’t any outside space, but for us it was chilly so didn’t matter! Also in a great location in the Marais. We walked everywhere and loved the area so much. Will absolutely stay again next time I’m in Paris! Thank you Sinner!
- Mario (4/5): - Our stay at Sinner did not live up to expectations unfortunately. The air conditioner in our room did not work for the first day and a half of our stay and Sinner did not really acknowledge or take responsibility. They blamed it on us having the heated floors of the bathroom on. Having the bathroom floors heated setting on should have absolutely no effect on the performance of the air conditioning in the room. They have nothing to do with one another but that is what we were told by Sinner staff. We were not even offered a water bottle to help us keep cool during the time our air was not working. At Sinner we paid 5 star prices but did not get 5 star accommodations nor service. I would not recommend a stay here as there are plenty of other options in Paris at the same price point with better service and accommodations.
- John (10/5): - Chic hotel that has the most amazing staff and service. It’s a monastery themed hotel where the staff are dressed like monks. A few blocks deeper into La Maria area of Paris but was more local then tourists which we preferred.

- Kevin (10/5): - The Sinner is a marvelous property. Great boutique hotel, with truly unique decor. The staff was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone - and will do so ourselves, again
- Eftihia (8/5): Just ok - The hotel rooms are nice but difficult to figure out lighting and sound system which was annoying. The lobby was a bit awkward and they have a smoke machine on at night which was also annoying. No outdoor space or gym which would have been nice considering the rates.

- Skye (10/5): Definitely recommend. - A really cool hotel that’s well run. The rooms were beautiful and relatively spacious by European standards. I don’t recommend the hotels for families with young kids. But as a couples retreat or solo - or even with older kids - I’m a big fan.

The decor was thoughtful throughout -- there's even a record player in the room with several retro records to play. The bed was almost too comfortable -- didn't want to get out. I also loved the adjoining rooms as we traveled as a group of 4 (2 couples). Very much plan to stay here again since I frequent Paris for work.
