The apartment is well equipped and the lovely owner shared a lot of valuable information as well as dinner and breakfast suggestions.
• angela (6/5): Accomodation sadly fell short of expectations. - Central location, ease of access, excellent directions and attentiveness of host, cleanliness, fully equipped. Apartment dark and dingy, no natural light, no view of garden as per description or access to hot tub. Bathroom incredibly small. Unable to sit on toilet without obstruction from washing machine. Deep step into shower, real tripping hazard. Sheets too small for bed and kept sliding off. Fitted or larger sheets would work better. Price should reflect standard of accomodation. Other more economical options available in the same area.

The poop bucket for toilet paper and the hot water switch must be put on appropriately 40 minutes prior should be explain in the listing. Bed is lumpy. Bedroom door hits bed and can’t not close. Shower is 2nd smallest I have ever had and a bit claustrophobic. No actual place for luggage. Living room furniture (chair and day bed not very comfortable).

O chuveiro poderia ser um pouco melhor, ta rachado e a água cai de forma irregular num box que é pequeno. E as camas de solteiro poderiam ser um pouco mais confortáveis, mas nada que atrapalhe a estadia.
• Christella (10/5): A truly excellent place to stay in Athens. - The apartment is comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The location is excellent - close to restaurants, bars, and locations you want to visit in Athens. The surroundings are safe, quiet, and exceptionally clean, and Kostis was a tremendous source of information, and he did everything possible to make my stay as good as possible. I can definitely recommend staying here. The fact that the apartment is on ground floor, is also an asset for anyone travelling, and especially for people with mobility issues The price is more than what I would normally like to pay for accommodation, but apart from that, I was very happy with my stay, and especially the support offered by the host.

It’s charmingly decorated, spotless, and incredibly cozy. Everything you need is just a short walk away – from historic sights to lovely cafés and shops. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful, even organizing our transport without us having to worry about a thing. Truly a wonderful stay – highly recommended! :)

April 2025 - The apartment is in a fantastic location, in a quiet and safe street with lovely local restaurants (selling traditional greek dishes) and shops only a few minutes walk away. The apartment was very clean with comfortable beds and it was a nice touch to meet Natalie and have crossiants left out for us upon arrival. We really enjoyed being immersed in the friendly neighbourhood celebrating Easter over the duration of our stay and we enjoyed the main historical sites of Athens being within walking distance of the apartment. The Parthenon and Acropolis museum were amazing. The host Kostis was wonderful, being very responsive by text mssage and incredibly helpful thoughout our stay, even arranging our taxi back to the airport. We spent 5 days here and could have happily stayed longer. We would highly recommend this apartment in Plaka for its location in this delightful part of Athens with friendly locals and the most pleasant and helpful host.

He made sure the apartment was ready on time and provided all the items we needed and more including snacks for the children. The apartment is also in a wonderful location with easy access to tourist sites, great food and shops. The mattress in the master bedroom should be changed for a better sleeping experience. Some of the old utensils need to be changed as well.

Kostis sent me a very easy instructions on how to access the building and popular sights and even which restaurants had the best views of the Acropolis. He even helped us with information for the ferry trip to Ageina island. The apartment was clean and cosy. A travel cot was left for our 18 month old toddler. Although the travel cot didn't fit in the bedroom this wasn't an issue for us. The kitchen was well equipped and if anything was missing, Kostis dropped it off to us straightaway. The bathroom was slightly smaller than expected but still fine and the water was lovely and hot. The towels were even replaced halfway through our stay, which was a lovely touch. We did have some issues with the tumble dryer (even though we followed the relevant instructions) but this definitely wouldn't stop us from staying here again. Plaka is definitely one of the nicest, safest areas in Athens especially with children. There was also a supermarket only 2 minutes walking distance and a cafe too. The other shops were also within 5-10 minutes walk. There is also a place around 10 minutes away to store luggage on the day you check out. I would stay here again if i was in Plaka. Thanks for a great stay Kostis ☺ Nothing really. Just the tumble dryer was slow but this wouldn't stop me from staying here again.

• Gaelle (9/5): Convenient apartment on the center of Athens with friendly host - The flat is very well located and our host shared a full series of restaurants and tips to enjoy our stay in Athens. He welcomed us and stayed in touch during the full stay to ensure a good experience. The ground floor came to be a bit noisy and limited sun light. This is the cons of being in the very center of the city.

• Katrina (10/5): Fantastic location, an authentic Plaka apartment with all the facilities you will need and support of hosts who provide - The location is amazing, right in the heart of Plaka, within a hundred yards of the main tourist area with many shops and restaurants. You will feel as though your are living as locals, with a supermarket and bakery on your doorstep. Despite the location being so central, it is a quiet street. Museums and the Acropolis are just a short walk away so you can access most tourist spots by walking. Liz and Kostis have worked hard to provide you with everything you need to make your stay comfortable, and generously provide toiletries, snacks, coffee and cold drink to get you started from the moment you arrive. The property is appropriately styled for the age and location, and the facilities are great, such as Netflix and kitchen equipment . Air conditioning is excellent, but you won’t need it much even on hot days, as the property is naturally cool. We had lots of help from both Kostis and Liz, nothing was too much, and their advice was invaluable. We made use of the services they offer for transport and arranging sightseeing and were more than happy with the service we received. We will be back in Athens in the future and would happily return to this apartment.

• Clair (10/5): It was a lovely apartment for 4 in an incredible location with excellent guidance and support from the family running it - The property was well maintained and scrupulously clean. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring all parts of Athens. Everything we needed was provided. Air conditioning was very good. What made it exceptional was our contact Konstantinos. He was very helpful. Anything we needed we would just text him and he would arrange it for us…tours, taxis, restaurants. He was always very quick to respond to all requests. Very easy and pleasant to deal with. He thinks of everything. It could have a couple more comfy chairs to sit on in the living room but everything else was great.

Could not have asked for a better location. The host was very good with communication and making food and site seeing recommendations as well as arrangements for taxi service. Bedroom size is small. However there is great coffee, the host provided very tasty bread and other minor stuff to eat on arrival. Bathroom size is also small and washer has a suboptimal drying function so we ended up drying clothes on the furniture after the wash and dry cycle.

Less sui - The location was perfect: 10 minutes from Acropolis, 3 minutes from restaurants and tourist stores, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The owners are very nice, and always were in touch with us. Facilities weren’t new, several things needed to be fixed. The bathroom, and especially the shower was unusually small. The bedroom couldn’t be closed, since there was not enough space to close the door. The mattress wasn't comfortable.

Kostis was and incredible host. he went above and beyond to communicate and get us everything we needed, including rides to and from the airport even with flight delays. (Kostis even met us to orient us to the apartment at 3:30am!) Couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our first trip to Athens. Highly recommend! N/A

Clean towels, shampoo, shower jel, coffee and toast machines, water heater etc. The sheets of extra bed smelled of damp. They charged 10 euro for storage of luggages after check out.

When we contacted them they communicated promptly. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was very central and convenient and the bedroom was quiet We thought the price was a little expensive for the standard of accommodation. Bathroom was tiny. No outlook from the rooms.

The location couldn't be better - in walking distance of all the sites to visit and a huge number of restaurants and shops. The apartment was clean, just renovated, and had everything you could need. You would be very hard pressed to find a nicer apartment with a better location. Kostis also arranged our transport to the airport and gave us a contact for tours and outings. Thank you again Kostis. • Carey (10/5): 3 nights in Athens - It was in a perfect location in central Plaka. The owner, Kostis was very welcoming and could not be more helpful. He arranged taxis while we were there and even for our return from a different island. The apartment is very well equipped and nice touches such as slippers and water and coffee/tea etc all provided. We are a family of four (2 daughters) and the accommodation worked perfectly for a short stay. Would highly recommend.
