- Jasmin (7/5): Die Lage war perfekt, allerdings ist es kein Ausgleich für den so teuren Preis mit kleinen Zimmern. - Die Lage war sehr gut! Die Tiefgarage sehr praktisch. Das Bad groß und generell alles sehr sauber. Frühstück war alles gut, man konnte nicht meckern. Die Zimmer waren leider wirklich sehr klein, dafür war es preislich aber aufgrund der Lage sehr teuer. Auch ist das Zimmer recht hellhörig. Als auf der Straße abends noch viel los war, hat man es gehört, als wäre das Fenster offen.

- Betül (9/5): Great location, friendly staff, and a pleasant sustainable stay in Amsterdam. - The hotel had an excellent location, making it very easy to explore Amsterdam. We also really appreciated the sustainability initiative where guests receive complimentary drinks if they skip room cleaning for the day — such a thoughtful and eco-friendly idea. The staff were always very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The canal view rooms would probably make the experience even better. We stayed in a room facing the inner courtyard/open space, so the view was not very special.

At check-in, I received a complimentary upgrade to a lovely room as a member of the Discovery loyalty program. - Francesca3333 (4/5): Beautiful hotel, serious service failures - The hotel itself is genuinely lovely. The lobby is elegant, the room was beautiful, quiet and comfortable, and the beds are excellent. Check-in was handled by a professional and welcoming staff member who made a great first impression. Which makes everything that followed all the more disappointing. We stayed three nights in a canal view room for three guests, paying approximately €1,480 Throughout the entire stay, our room was never cleaned. Not once. I made my own bed every day. The GreenStay program , whereby guests opt out of housekeeping in exchange for drink vouchers , was never clearly explained to us. We were not told that the hanger had to be removed the day before to receive housekeeping the following day. A policy that isn’t communicated is a policy that doesn’t exist. When we raised the issue at reception, we were met with justifications rather than solutions. The drink vouchers we eventually received were not a goodwill gesture ,they are the standard compensation under the GreenStay policy. Presenting them as something extra is, frankly, misleading. And we had to ask for them ourselves. To make things worse, a milk capsule provided in the room was clearly spoiled. I work in hospitality. I know that what defines a hotel is not whether things go wrong, but how they handle it when they do. In this case, they did not handle it well.

Me pareció que preferían llamara un taxi del Hotel cuyo precio al aeropuerto fue el doble 75 €. Y de taxi no tenía nada!

Large room, terrific breakfast, wonderful staff at breakfast (especially Mildred and Sri, and Sandra at the grill making eggs to order). Brita water stations on all floors so bring your refillable water bottle! Front desk staff, Francesca, Sylvaine, Elena, and Tim were so helpful with restaurant reservations and recommendations. Responsive to our every need.

The cleaning, the room was dusty and even when we asked for room service they didn’t clean anything, they just put the blankets back on the bed. By mistake there was a gummy vitamins on the floor it stayed there our whole stay. Only 1 Restaurant available and it closes early (no staff only 1 lady). The food was tasteless and slow service.

Posizione eccellente, l'hotel ha una doppia uscita, una affaccia sul canale e un'altra su una stradina bellissima! La stanza appena arrivate era molto pulita, ma non sono rimasta soddisfatta dal ripasso della pulizia giornaliera. Il primo giorno quando siamo tornate alle tre di pomeriggio, abbiamo trovato la stanza che non era stata ancora rifatta. Il giorno dopo, abbiamo chiesto di dare priorità alla nostra stanza con pulizia al mattino, ma abbiamo trovato che le lenzuola non erano state cambiate e c'erano delle briciole ancora rimaste sul tavolino. La colazione buona ma da NH mi aspettavo di più.

The lovely Mrs Sri will let you in a variety of flavors from the typical English breakfast to delicious pastries and healthy choices such as hummus, along with a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. - Thalita Graeff (10/5): Equipe valiosa e prestativa em um momento dificil - O meu parceiro sofreu um acidente grave logo no início da nossa viagem e recebemos todo o suporte da equipe do hotel no que precisamos, desde falar com pessoas no hospital, entregar pacotes de gelo para os hematomas e garantir aos demais funcionários que nos fosse dada atenção especial, até mesmo no restaurante, pois ele não podia comer nada sólido. Gostaria de agradecer especialmente aos funcionários: Sarah-Anne, Tim, Fábio e Alicia. Em um momento tão dificil, vocês ajudaram a deixar as coisas mais leves. No mais, esta era a segunda vez nos hospendado no hotel, a localização é ótima, os quartos espaçosos e limpos, há refrigerador no local, o que também foi de grande valia. Dentro do hotel, há um mini mercado, mas na região também há muito comércio, há um Albert Heidjen a menos de 300 metros do hotel, bem como farmácia na localidade. Com certeza eu retornaria a este hotel, pois tenho a certeza de que teremos qualidade, bom atendimento e apoio necessários. Não tenho nada a reclamar do hotel, somente elogios.

Front desk said they were going to check it out and never did. They offered a fan, but we were headed out that day. We opened the windows but the noise was crazy.

Our shower was broken and the water temp could not be adjusted (it was either very hot or hotter) we were told two times that it would be fixed but no one came. Also it’s a waterfall shower and the handheld did not work and that was also promised to be fixed but it never was. Sink drain didn’t work either - also never fixed.

Pegamos o quarto pequeno com vista para o canal que só vale pela vista, pois é bem pequeno mesmo. Os funcionários são muito cordiais com destaque para a Elena da recepção e a Hazel do café da manhã. Adoramos a estadia lá. Vale a pena. No dia do Rei, havia somente um funcionário no restaurante e este estava lotado.

The main purpose of our visit was thst our daughter was celebrating her 7th birthday so we took her to visit the Barbie Experience. Upon arrival at the hotel there was no one on the reception desk, my wife had to go and find a member of staff ( turned out the receptionist was assisting a guest. Our personal holiday agent had also left staff to pass a message on to our daughter and had asked for any additional extras - there was no acknowledgement at it that it was our daughters birthday or our agents messaged passed on. The hotel itself was modern and very clean. The rooms were perfect and the location was very central. I would certainly return

- tombS9431RW (4/5): High cost, low quality - My partner and I stayed here whilst visiting Amsterdam. We checked in early, the room wasn’t ready and we were told we would get a message when the room became available but no messsge was received. The room was dirty, a previous occupant had eaten crackers, the evidence of which could be found on the floor. The room was very small, with no storage for bags or clothes and very tired/worn. We stayed three nights and were out of the room all day everyday. Both days upon return the room hadn’t been cleaned. We then got a knock at 5pm asking if we wanted it cleaned, by which point we didn’t want to be disturbed. There was no water in the room, you have to fill bottles at floor 3 or 5. We asked for an iron to be sent to the room but were told that wasn’t an option and instead there was an ironing room we could use. This hotel is a budget hotel at luxury prices. In summary the hotel was dirty, had poor facilities, no ongoing cleaning which therefore made it very poor value at €1,600 for three nights.
