- Yiming (6/5): - I booked a sea view room via Expedia and included a specific request for a room with a good view to enhance my vacation experience. Yet, the hotel didn’t respond on the messages. Upon check-in, I also asked for a quiet room. However, I was assigned a room on the lowest floor, directly across from the elevator, and with two twin beds—none of which aligned with my requests. It took approximately 20 minutes of back and forth discussion while I was informed by the check-in staff that no alternative rooms were available. Fortunately, after escalating the issue to the duty manager, I was promptly reassigned to a higher-floor room with a beautiful sea view, which better met my expectations. While I greatly appreciate the professionalism and excellent service provided by the duty manager and the concierge team, the initial check-in experience fell short and impacted my first impression of the hotel. I would recommend improving consistency in service standards across all front desk staff and encouraging the team to learn from those who deliver truly outstanding customer service.

Beautifully maintained, spacious, and full of thoughtful touches that make it feel like a true getaway. It’s also ideal for families—our toddler had the best time! There are plenty of activities to keep little ones entertained, and everything feels safe, welcoming, and family-friendly. If you’re looking for a destination that blends luxury, comfort, and fun for all ages, this is definitely the place to go. We’re already looking forward to our next trip back!

It is 20 min walking from main JBR, metro is also 20 min walk. Beach is clean, although the adjacent beach is a slightly noisy marina. Bins on the beach would be useful. The only other thing is that it was very crowded when we went in end April altough that can be a measure of its popularity. Would stay again.

Love the layout and the fact there was an adults only garden - very peaceful reading my book out there. We ate at the buffet a couple of times, the beach bar, Mexican and the sports bar - all excellent. The food was fresh and plentiful. Rooms large, beds comfortable and well-stocked. Would highly recommend - a premium is charged but nothing was too much trouble and I came away feeling rested and like I'd had a holiday.

- Greg (10/5): - This was Our first time visiting Dubai, I had heard Taxi’s were required to get everywhere which initially put me off, however the location of Le Royal Meridien was great. With JBR walk round the corner we were able to walk all the way to blue waters and also across to the Marina which was ideal. As for the hotel itself it was always clean, there were always staff on hand to help with any requests and the staff themselves were all excellent. Very friendly and accommodating, nothing was a problem. This became more apparent when our 6 month old son developed an ear infection on our first night. Within 10minutes of contacting the concierge the hotels 24/7 paramedic was in our room checking on our son, who then arranged a doctors appointment the following morning including transport to/from the doctor. The hotel and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The hotel pool, bars and beach were all great, with ample private hotel grounds and gardens to walk around which was excellent for kids. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, especially anyone with children. Would definitely stay again.

- Thomas (8/5): Terrible staff - The guy in the reception was really terrible and unfriendly. I asked to arrange for breakfast on the day of departure and a transportation , he refused and we walked away. Unfriendly and trying to up-sell all the time. The arrangements that were agreed on were not held and we had to complain over the bill to remove the errors. Also the service staff at the restaurant did shout and scream over a bill my associate forgot to sign. we spent thousands of dollars in this hotel and this kind of unfriendly behavior is not making the stay pleasant. I understand that the staff is driven to sell and probably get % of sale but they do not know how to behave with guests.
- Gloria (10/5): - We stayed at this hotel when we were coming back from visiting our son in Melbourne in 2018. We loved the hotel and chose to stay there again this year. It is even better now. It has been extensively modernised and it looks fantastic. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and obviously take a pride in the hotel. The service is excellent. Beautiful landscaped gardens with several swimming pools. Excellent choice of restaurants. I can really recommend this hotel. We can't wait to go back again.

There is a bar and night club very close to hotel called Zero Gravity .. my god , ıI have never heard such a loud music .. they start in the morning and they continue until 3.00 am in the morning .. even the sound proof windows don't work .. I called the police to report incredibly loud music but that didn't solve the problem either .. The hotel is very nice , it has a beautiful garden but the loud music is enough to destroy your vacation ..
- Verified traveler (6/5): Could have been a little better - The resort and facilities are nice and updated. The service was a little spotty. While some of the service staff are gems, some other employees just stay there or do the bare minimum. On our first night, we were faced with the situation where the hotel was hosting a Christmas dinner and the sound and music was really loud until 10:30 pm. There was no notice this was going to be happening. The next day, there was music again until 8 pm, and no electricity for a part of the day. To me it didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel. Other facilities were good.

- Lucy (10/5): - Wonderful few days at the hotel, always a very relaxed and comfortable hotel. The staff are wonderful and food options superb. The beds and pillows are like sleeping in a cloud! As the grounds and pools are extensive there is always a lounger, sun and shade available. This hotel amazes me on its constant cleanliness and attention to detail. We will be back again.

- Raheem (10/5): - This is an amazing hotel and I will definitely return here. I came as a family with my wife and daughter and we had a great time. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and respectable. The hotel is clean throughout and has great on site restaurants as well as amazing kids club. The room was cleaned once a day and then the staff would could round again to make sure everything was okay and if anything else was needed. The only issue can be the WiFi at time which I hope will be improved. Perefectly located at the start of JBR so you do not get caught up traffic

- Amy (10/5): - I chose to stay here recently because of all the wonderful reviews and now I understand why. The staff are lovely. They cannot do enough to help. Whatever you need, they will try their best. The rooms are lovely - stayed in a tower king room overlooking the resort - I loved the balcony and the plush decor in the room. I spent my days just laying by the pool, all the staff there were wonderful and were always on hand to help with beds or drinks and snacks. The hotel is in a great location just near to the marina. There’s a supermarket right outside and a taxi rank that’s constantly full of cabs so it’s ridiculously easy to come and go. This hotel is quite busy though! I didn’t expect there to be so many people laying by the pool in August, I always found Dubai to be quiet at this time of year but from speaking to a local taxi driver he said this resort is always busy. I think that’s just testament to the staff and how relaxed and welcoming the atmosphere is.

- Stuart (8/5): Nice hotel. Reasonable cost for Dubai. - We have been going to Dubai literally for 40 years. Nice hotel Recent refurbish, it looks like. One tower being done at the moment. Check-in staff were friendly. Customer service lady in reception was very helpful. The pool area does not bring you small bottles of water like you get elsewhere in other hotels. That was a disapointment as they could filer and bottle it themselves at negligeable cost. Breakfast buffet is 8/10 compared to other countries, but a 6/10 compared to other Dubai hotels. But is certainly adequate. service by pool staff was non-existant unless you went to the bar. Maybe because we were on the end of the row, I don't know. But much better pool service elsewhere. Not allowed to have a small bowl of nuts at the pool bar incase you drop any in the pool, the guy told us. We can presume we were trusted, like young children might not be. Quite odd. The hotel is a good location for JBR and marina walks in the evening - especially if just Bed & Breakfast as loads of places to eat along the strip and at the marina. We have stayed at tens of different hotels over th eyars. This was outr 4th or 5th stay in the Meridien. The good parts were let down by silly negatives. But the usual question - would we stay there again. It is a 'Yes'. But we will see how that stay goes.

All the staff are fabulous from cleaners to managers - always friendly, attentive but not overbearing and very helpful. My 14/15th visit and o know there will be many more.

- Keith (10/5): Great around - Great location at JBR. Very good for kids- 3 pools, nice beach, great play park and a good kids club although can only leave for 2 ours without returning. Room was a nice size and the housekeeper was excellent. The choice of restaurants onsite is great in the evening, food from around the world. Downsides are that the outside area is very busy- pools and beach, probably as these are shared by the GH across the road, which is a big hotel. Also, out rear facing room was pretty noisy in the morning but I guess front facing ones will be noisy into the evening so maybe a trade off.
