• Ravid (9/5): Great hotel in a lovely area, would definitely come back - The hotel's location is fantastic, near the Holborn tube station, 10 minutes walking to Oxford Street and 15 minutes walking to Covent Garden. The apartment itself was clean, newly refurbished and well equipped with everything guests might need. We asked for a baby cot in advance and the staff was attentive and responsive. A special thank you to Melanie for being so kind and helpful to our children, and to the rest of the team for making our stay so pleasant. A little bit more cutlery would've been nice, we also had a little problem with the TV in the living room but the staff assisted us quickly.

• Michael (8/5): - Sehr gute Lage. Großes Zimmer, moderne Ausstattung. Teilweise laute Geräusche aus den Wasserleitungen, die sehr störend waren. Das personal war anfangs sehr freundlich und hat uns auch ein früheren Check-In ermöglicht, bei der Abreise hatten wir ein anderes Personal welches nicht sehr freundlich beim Abwickeln vom Unterstellen der Koffern war. Das hat leider am Ende des Aufenthalts die Erfahrung negativ beeinflusst.

Handy kitchenette with fridge and convection microwave in the room too. Good location not far from Covent Garden. Opposite Holborn Underground Station. No wardrobe in room or drawers. On a busy road but sound proofed windows.

• Lisa (10/5): I felt right at home! - First of all, the staff was extremely friendly and nice! The room was so spacious for one person. The bed was so comfy, with a huge blanket. The TV setup with the Chromecast was great, being able to watch my favorite show during dinner made the room feel even more homely. I loved the design, lighting and colours of the room. The bathroom was also nice, you only need to be careful stepping out of the bathtub. The breakfast area in the lounge felt very cozy and the selection of food was sufficient for me. The hotel is very close to Holborn tube station, but you could also walk to the West End, etc. Will be staying here again! :)

Puhtaat pyyhkeet sai pyydettäessä, mutta huoneen siistiminen muutaman päivän välein olisi ollut kiva juttu.

More like a self-service or apartment-style stay. Cleaning only between stays. Guests need to request anything they need like towels and they have to take out trash themselves. I would say it is rather expensive given the lack of personnel and services.

For any business traveler looking for comfort, convenience, and a bit more space than a typical hotel room offers, Citadines Holborn Covent Garden is an outstanding choice. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to London.

• Mauricio (8/5): Great value, but inaccurate description on booking.com - This property is great value. Large, clean, comfortable rooms. Good water pressure and temperature. Well-equipped kitchen. A stone's throw from Holborn station, LSE, walking distance to the Strand. Will stay again. The description of the property on booking.com is inaccurate on at least three counts. I had a classic studio room. It promised: - A work desk *and* a dining table. My room had no work desk. When I pointed this out, I was told I could choose between a work desk *or* a dining table. I had planned on using both, and had to adjust. That is not what the word *and* means. - A tea/coffee maker. There is no coffeemaker in the room. The word they are looking for is a "kettle". - 25 square metres of space. I measured it. Try 18. Even with all of that, the property is still great value, comfortable, functional, clean, and does what it does very well. But it outright lies on its booking.com description, and that's just not acceptable.

• Karen (9/5): One of our favourite places to stay in London - Our second stay, last time in an executive studio, this time in a classic for 2 nights. Both are excellent. The main difference is no breakfast bar, mini sofa or coffee maker in the classic, otherwise decor is the same. The studios have been newly renovated within the past 2 years, are well designed and still in excellent condition. It felt new still and was spotlessly clean - the kitchenette sink shone! I liked that there was a good entrance corridor in the classic studio with hooks to hang coats and a good wardrobe with drawers inside and safe. The bathroom was great, not big but perfectly acceptable and shower was spacious. The kitchenette was very good with 2 ring stove top, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Only 2 of everything but acceptable and you could cook a small meal in the pans provided. Liked that there was an initial supply of tea/instant coffee and milk. The staff on reception were very helpful and welcoming. The communal areas are very nice with sofas and tables. The complimentary coffee machine is a nice offering. The location is excellent - around corner from Holborn station- just a few minutes by tube from Kings Cross, or a bus ride. There is a little Waitrose over the road, Waterstones, cafe, Pizza Express live etc. 10 minute walk to Covent Garden. 20 min walk to Trafalgar Square or 10 minutes on bus. Definitely our go to place for London trips, along with another apartment hotel which is close by. The only slight negative was that the bedding and pillows could have been better quality, particularly if you are paying high season rates. The sheets felt slightly rough. That said, we slept well enough.
• balgaa (10/5): Fell asleep at the first night. - The staff was great, they created a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere without appearing too intrusive. They also quickly replied to all my inquiries and issues. The room was clean, and neatly kept, and the amenities were sufficient. I can never sleep in a different room foe the first few nights when I travel. And I fell asleep at Citadines in 10 minutes.

We were in room 118 and the door didn't open fully as there was a column in the way, once in the room it was lovely. Free coffe/ tea etc in the room and from machines in the reception and lounge areas No water in room, had an empty glass bottle you could take to reception or the lounge to fill up with filtered water. would be nice if it was full on arrival.
