Also the room we were assigned to was a bit tired , curtains need up grading and also for a two night stay more toiletries included , also there were no tea bags both items had to be requested .

- JOSEPH (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our room was excellent. - The location of the room was excellent. It was private and very comfortable. It made us feel great for a celebration. We chose The Star Hotel and Residences because we have previously stayed and were upgraded without asking. We were able to take the light rail during our stay into the city and the Sydney Fish Markets. There is no separate line for checking in and checking out for such a large hotel. There was no easy way to validate parking other than line up with everyone else checking in or checking out. We purchased the package including parking however it was not obvious at the time of reservation that you had to park your own car otherwise you had to pay an additional fee. To the credit of your people greeting guests arriving by car, they were polite and quick enough to alert us to the limitation of the parking package.

- Eiben (9/5): Excellent location good facility - The Location The rooms could have been a little cleaner, and the breakfast bar cutlery was found disappointingly dirty. My daughter made herself a hot chocolate and found sound lipstick mark left on the cup taken from the clean cup rake, which was quite disappointing, we also had to look around for some clean plates that were not dripping wet.

Although it doesn’t, you can have your laundry done for you but it is quite pricey

- Janine (8/5): - Firstly we not given the apartment we had booked, but after talking to the staff they promptly helped us to move to the correct one. Also the beds are the most comfortable iv ever felt, they were incredible, the view is amazing. I did put the worst score for staff, meaning the casino staff, not the hotel staff, hiring the apartment for 2 nights was my daughters 21st birthday present thinking that her & her friends would be able to celebrate without having to go out anywhere, they had many different groovey bars to choose from within the casino, We had a party & drinks in the apartment which finnished at 11pm & then the girls went down stairs to continue to celebrate in the casino, but they were refused entry, they all had their ids & yes they had a few drinks, but none of them were overly intoxicated, they are all very responsible, respectful young ladies, When my daughter told me I was very upset, being able to access the bars & then go upstairs to bed was why we picked the casino in the first place, it did put a bit of a shadow over her 21st.

- Lee (5/5): Front desk check in needs a lot of improvement, it would have been nice to have been welcomed or even a smile or greetin - Location and view were great! Staff at check in were not friendly at all. I think customer service is very important especially when you are front of house, unfortunately our experience was very poor, we were booked with six guests but only had three towels in our apartment.

- Tessa (10/5): always love staying here with my kids for a special sydney getaway. - bed, roof top swimming pool and huge heated spa wish i could afford to stay two nights with my kids. They love it so much but for a single mum one night is a lot of money. Still worth it for the enjoyment we get.

- Nessyg (10/5): Gorgeous views, great location,lovely stay. - My husband and I booked this hotel to see the new Anastasia theatre production which is conveniently located at the Sydney Lyric Theatre within the same building. Check-in was super fast and easy. Our room was upgraded which was a lovely surprise. The room itself was amazing. Spacious, beautiful view, great facilities available, the tv was easy to navigate, the air-conditioning was perfect, the shower was a rain shower coming from the ceiling with great pressure, nice and hot. The bed was comfortable. The black out blinds worked great. The hotel service was amazing from the concierge, retailers and food vendors. When we checked out the lovely lady at the desk marked our parking ticket so it was free to park underneath the hotel. Loved every moment of our stay and will be back in the future. There was nothing my husband or I could fault. It was perfect.

- Pauline (8/5): It was great experience with many facilities except the pool facilities and spas brang the rating down - The view was superb and it had a lot of different culinary elements including the Harvest Buffet. There was a great selection of amenities including the casino, shows and pools. The service was exceptional. The pool was very shaded which was really cold and the spa’s/hot tubs/ jacuzzi was also colder than usual. Other than that superb work.

- Gary (9/5): Fantastic location, fantastic venue. - Loved the location, the beds were very comfy would have preferred a queen in the second bedroom. The room was lovely, bathrooms clean, large towels. Loved the fridge drawer very convenient. Great location to attend shows at the Lyric theatre. We did use dishes during our stay, dishwashing liquid and dish cloths were provided but no drying cloths. Breakfast buffet very overrated.
