Room size was good, bed was comfortable, air conditioner easy to use and minimal noise in room from outside. happy hour 4-6pm downstairs Walking distance to Capitol Theatre, Lion King the musical currently on. Close to trains (Museum station) which you can take to the airport. 15 minute walk to Darling Harbour. Nil

- Veronica (10/5): A Great Family Stay - We have stayed at The Vibe before and love the location. The various room configurations suit our mixed family group . Checking and out was seamless, appreciated our luggage being held for us in a secure place . We enjoyed the adjoining restaurant The Storehouse. Daily happy hours quickly became part of our routine. We enjoyed breakfast on site once during our stay. $20 per person $10 for children charge if you book in advance. Our large family group was well set for the day. Being able to walk everywhere was so easy. Spoiled for choice for excellent restaurants at a variety of pricepoints. We came to see a show at the Capitol Theatre and could walk there. We had a super stay at the Vibe A bit of construction noise was heard one night but no real problem with it.

Breakfast was solid - Mainly a DIY Müsli station and English style breakfast. One of the three single beds was a pullout couch - that was fine for 2 nights. For a longer stay that might not be comfortable for everyone.

Buffet breakfast was fantastic (be sure to pay for it the day before, to get it cheaper). Staff were wonderful and friendly. We will definitely stay there again. Nothing to complain about

- emmylou (8/5): Good value, great location, make sure to lock and put your do not disturb sign up - Good location, good value for 3 adults over 3 nights. Enjoyed using the rooftop on a sunny day. Nice and local to the metro with a 20 minute train to the airport. We didn’t like how the house keeper tapped on the door at 9am on Sunday morning and then opened the door when I was not dressed and got a full sight view. He seemed amused by it. We quickly locked the door for the other nights and finally found our to not disturb sign.

Our room was opposite a gymnasium and neon lighting in the alley beside the hotel. Unfortunately the drapes were not capable of shutting out the lights which in addition to being bright also were flashing. Not a good sleep.

The bathroom had a few issues, the shower knobs would fall off. The power situation was confusing and wasn't explained at the reception originally as our room didn't have a key slot and you apparently have to flick a switch to have power for the A/C. Reception was helpful on our second day when we went and asked in the morning.

- Lakin (10/5): Very pleasant. I have stayed here before, and I will probably stay here again. - The room was very clean with comfortable beds. There was good insulation from noise, and I wasn't bothered by the sound of traffic at all. The bathroom was spacious with a huge shower. The staff were very polite, helpful and efficient. The aircon controller was set to Chinese, and I couldn't read the prompts. Some of the built-in USB ports didn't seem to work.
