Michal (8/5): - Nový moderní hotel, velmi čistý, bazén v horním patre parádní. Úklid super a velmi promyšlené pokoje. Lokalita slabší, hned vedle rozkopaná celá ulice, takže špína a odpad všude. Hernicka pro děti velmi slabá. Ačkoli hned před hotelem fajn dětské hřiště. Zaroven personál na snídani nebyl úplně rychlý, nesbíral nádobí, věci trvaly dlouho a menší výběr.

Around the hotel is a lot of small coffee shops, small markets as well as restaurants; only 15 minutes by taxi to the city center. Personnel is very kind, nice and very helpful. The breakfast is tasty, rooms are very comfortable and big. I travel to Hanoi very often and always stay in this hotel. Highly recommended !!! none

SanTriHa (10/5): - in absolutes Highlight war für uns der riesige, beheizte Indoor-Infinity-Pool mit Blick über die Stadt. Er war ein echter Game-Changer und wurde von uns täglich stundenlang genutzt. Da Hanoi oft sehr wuselig und reizüberflutend sein kann, war dieser ruhige Rückzugsort Gold wert. Auch das Frühstück war fantastisch – ich habe dort tatsächlich die beste Pho-Suppe meiner Reise gegessen! Unser gigantisches Zimmer bot das vielleicht beste Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das wir je hatten (Beispiele): Unglaublich gemütliche Betten, eine beheizte Klobrille, extra Soundboxen für den TV und eine Nespresso-Maschine. Sollten wir wieder nach Hanoi reisen, buchen wir definitiv nur noch hier. (Wir waren übrigens recht weit oben untergebracht und haben von den aktuellen Bauarbeiten im Viertel absolut nichts mitbekommen!) Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt wäre höchstens die Lage etwas außerhalb des Zentrums. Wobei genau das auch ein Vorteil sein kann, wenn man dem Trubel etwas entfliehen möchte! Dank Grab ist ohnehin alles völlig problemlos erreichbar – zur bekannten Train Street fährt man beispielsweise entspannte 20 Minuten.

Hà Hải Trinh (8/5): Tuyệt - Bể bơi tuyệt vời, rất rộng và rất sạch. Có xe đạp dạo vòng quanh Hồ Tây. Phòng ốc gọn gàng rộng rãi tiện nghi có bếp và dụng cụ nấu ăn cho nhu cầu ở dài ngày. Nhân viên xử lý vấn đề của khách hàng rất nhanh gọn và kịp thời. Máy giặt không hoạt động dù tôi đã phải đổi phòng nhưng vẫn vậy, căn đầu tiên thậm chí điều hòa phòng ngủ cũng không hoạt động. Tuy nhiên khách sạn đã đổi phòng kịp thời. Xung quanh cũng nhiều công trình thi công nên đường vào gồ ghề và bụi bặm. Hy vọng là tạm thời.

Emilie (10/5): - Tout était parfait ! L’appartement une chambre était incroyablement propre et magnifique. Le personnel adorable et très serviable. Restaurant très bon et petit déjeuner très copieux. La piscine était bondée d’enfant c’est dommage d’autorisé l’accès bien être aux enfants car au final c’est tout sauf relaxant. En revanche le sauna et hammam étant séparé de la piscine étaient beaucoup plus relaxant !

P. (9/5): Fantastisch! - Kamer was heel mooi en schoon! Fijn balkon! Heerlijke douche! Personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Het zwembad met uitzicht over de stad mag je niet missen. Het eten is ook heel goed. Mocht je een excursie willen doen, het hotel ligt niet in Old Quarter dus je wordt niet bij het hotel opgehaald.

Tuan Viet (8/5): I would return to the hotel when the construction opposite is completed. - I liked the hotel. The rooms are comfortable. I liked the spa, sauna and swimming pool. The bed is comfortable with high-quality bed linen, pillows and blankets. 1. Despite being a 5-star hotel, the room lacked basic toiletries. There were no cotton buds, hair conditioner, body lotion, shaving kit, etc. Upon request, they provided a comb and toothbrushes with toothpaste. 2. Not a large selection of food for breakfast. 3. In two days, our room was never cleaned, which was disappointing. There was obvious dirt on the floor and rubbish on the table. 4. Right opposite the hotel, they have started some kind of large-scale construction project, which makes the room a little noisy and the area outside the hotel very dusty and dirty.

The coffee was rich and well-balanced, with a smooth, creamy salted layer that made it very enjoyable to drink. Not only is he skilled at his craft, but Duc Hai is also good-looking with a bright appearance, a professional demeanor, and a friendly attitude, which left a great first impression. Sharon (9/5): - For most time, the service is as great as usual. The room is clean and equipped with everything, convenient for someone who likes to cut some fruits or make a lemonade by himself/herself. I checked out in the morning, and came back to retrieve my luggage and have dinner in the hotel restaurant. There is no people in the restaurant, but us. We sit at a table with no light, until my husband done order and ask the employee if she can turn on the light for us… Honestly, it should not be something that we need to ask. We fully understand that for the cost concern, and since we are the only customer, they might not want to “waste” the electricity on us?? However, there should be other way to handle the issue. For example, guide the guests to other table with light or simply just reject guests politely said that the restaurant is closed, either way will be better. We stored our luggage there, because we will head to SAPA for two nights, and then will come back to check in again in Oakwood. We come back to have dinner, since we are so impressed by the room service during our previous stay, that’s why compared with dining in the city center, we chose to come back to have dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately, I will say we have a less pleasant experience this time. This is the 3rd time I stay in Oakwood. I’ve brought my family, friends and highly recommended my colleague this hotel. However, this time I noticed that the vibe and service seem changed.

lyndaj634 (10/5): Another great stay at the Oakwood! - We returned to the Oakwood Residence in early November having already stayed there in March/April 2025 each time we travelled back and forth to Hanoi from other regions. Apart from the fact that the rooms (with all amenities including a washer/dryer) and facilities are excellent, it's the staff who make this hotel extra special. Everyone, starting at the entrance, at reception, cleaning & maintenance staff to restaurant staff are all very efficient and friendly. The hotel is always sparkling clean and tidy from the rooftop right down to the garage. A first special mention goes to Tuyen on the front door who on our arrival, straight away remembered us from seven months ago and welcomed us back! We enjoyed many nice conversations with him over the 11 nights we stayed. The other special mention is for the restaurant staff, Thanh, Tien, Hanh, Duong and Cuong who welcomed us every morning for breakfast often enquiring if we slept well. They all work very hard (along with many others whose names I didn't note down) to keep their guests happy. I hope the coffee machine situation has been sorted out by now.. the new one kept breaking down and staff were constantly apologizing to guests.. The breakfast is very good but it would be nice to have a greater variety of bread, rolls and pastries especially for those guests staying longer than one or two nights. I must add that the home made yogurts (which Thanh pointed out to me on the first morning as a new addition since April) are delicious!! Looking forward to seeing everyone again when we return to Hanoi!

huongthuk (10/5): You won't regret it! - What an amazing 8 day's we had at Oakwood! Good location, Great service starts from the entrance. It always smells lovely and is very clean throughout, with everything you need under one roof such as gym, lovely rooftop pool etc...even housekeeping is spot on every day. Good selection for breakfast and dinner and to top it all off, the staff are all amazing especially thuy tien and Quan who we've met on our first morning at breakfast and every morning during our stay. They were very friendly, professional and attentive to us and everyone they attended to. It was an absolute pleasure and I'm glad we picked oakwood out of so many choices. We highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again when we get the chance!

While breakfast is generally satisfactory, it could benefit from more variety for those staying for an extended periodю
Cuong (8/5): Worthy family stay near West Lake, but you should get the lake-view - Friendly and helpful staff with decently sufficient facilities both in and out of room. The entrance was small and with the construction nearby caused a nasty view and also some noises (though not at uncomfotable level)

MiRi (9/5): - 숙소가 우선 깨끗하고 침구도 좋았습니다. 샤워실,욕조도 관리가 잘되는거같았고 세탁기 건조기도 잘 동작을 해서 편안했습니다. 프론트 직원분들도 친절했습니다 위치가 생각했던것보다 살짝 더 안쪽이었는데 택시가 들어와서 큰문제는 되지않았습니다

A Sherpa (10/5): Clean spacious room in a peaceful neighbourhood with an amazing swimming pool - The room was clean, spacious and comfortable the washing machine in the balcony was a plus. The staff were all courteous and helpful. The infinity pool was very good and had a greaf view of the Westlake. The location although in a peaceful neighbourhood had its downside we had a one bedroom overlooking a construction site which was not very pleasant. In addition we had the misfortune of arriving when it rained a lot and the roads leading to the residence were flooded. We had plans to go for a walk to the lake but decided not to seeing the conditions of the road.

Pik Fai (6/5): - Bed and pillow are comfortable but the blanket is a bit heavy. I think my 2 bedroom is designed for 1 king bed so the sockets and light switches on the headboard are blocked by the pillows. Sockets show 3 rectangular legs (UK type) but actually you can't plug in 3 legs. Washing machine door is not closing well. Need to try a few times to successfully close the door. And there is no place to hang washed clothes
215miguel_ngelf (10/5): They honour to the 5 stars rate - I booked this hotel based on the good reviews they had in Tripadvisor. The hotel has amazing facilities and clean luxury rooms. Also a huge swimming pool which helps to calm down after a hot day in Hanoi. Personally I had to cancel my booking due to the upcoming typhoon, and even if I was not supposed to be reimbursed (as it is stated in the terms and conditions), they considered the situation and put the human factor in front of anything else. I want to thank NGUYEN Thi Thu Trang for the help received and the Management from Oakwood Residence Hanoi.

Liban (10/5): - This is a great property located a bit away from the city center but easily accessed with a taxi. Good breakfast spread, clean rooms, courteous staff and all the amenities you could need - highly recommended for solo or family travel. Would definitely be back!

lilI899CR (2/5): Terrible food experience - Everything was fine until I took my daughter to the bathroom through a door into the hallway, my daughter cried because she heard shouting in the kitchen. She even had nightmares about it. I wondered why he needed to yell, it was so disrespectful to a coworker. So hard to think of going back to experience something like that.
