Guest Reviews
- Trond Rune (8/5): Kommer gjerne tilbake. Var der for tredje gang. -
- Vincent (9/5): Superb, we will stay here again, perhaps for a couple of days longer to use the spa facilities - Everything was better than we expected. The food was superb and very reasonably priced. All the staff were really nice, professional and friendly. Nothing, everything was just right.
- Graham (10/5): Our favourite hotel in London! - Location, large comfortable room, swimming pool. Minor quibble: Would just have preferred a room higher up (than first floor) for a clear view of the harbour.
- Marcus (7/5): - Breakfast very expensive and limited choice
Wasted 1.5 hrs for staff to open up spa gym pool.
The issue was not passed in to new staff who were unaware of the problem from early morning desk staff Wasted 1.5 hrs going back and forth from locked gym pool entrance to reception. It should have opened early am but staff did not turn up
- Abeer (10/5): -
- Olga (10/5): Fabulous location, beautiful room and friendly staff - We were going to the Chelsea Flower Show, so the location was excellent, only 20 mins walk away.
Check in was quick and very friendly with a nice upgrade to a balcony room with views out across the Thames.
The suite was very spacious with 2 bathrooms, all the good facilities too. Very minor, but the pillows were a bit hard.
- Louise (9/5): Excellent - The staff were absolutely lovely No shops around n No spare charger
- Emre (10/5): -
- Guido (9/5): -
- Adrian (9/5): Excellent value for London - Excellent size room for London
- Mr Carl (7/5): - Room size cleanliness and staff all went very well. Staff need to be organised a bit better.....many occasions with only one on reception so queues to the entrance door....and same with bar area. Breakfast Buffet poor for the money spent. Room service non existent. Bar closing before 2300 for a hotel in West London not adequate. Blocking 200 GBP from account for what was advised minibar.....without a minibar in the room.
- JAMES (5/5): -
- Ahmad (10/5): It was my first time to stay in London and I can say that the Chelsea Hotel will be the favorite option going forward. -
- Nick (7/5): -
- Claire (8/5): Great- but missed an important appointment because of the late check-in - Everything Room not ready at 3.30pm for a 3pm check-in. Bar not open when we got in at 11.30pm!
- David (8/5): -
- Will (8/5): Very good - Very nice room. Very friendly and helpful staff Windows in bedroom are very dirty

- Ismail (9/5): Lovely stay, we really enjoyed it. No complaints just a couple of suggestions. - Lovely property! Great suite, very comfortable and cute. Wish the TVs were connect to the internet so I could use my Netflix or even YouTube. Also would have been great to have more options on the menu.
- Adrian (4/5): Disappointing - Good location, good bedroom size The bedroom was filthy. Old, dated decor. Rusty shower. Dirty bathroom floor. Absolutely not a 5 star hotel. Broken wardrobe handle. Dirty iron with burnt on fabric! This is a 3 star at best. Asked reception to call us a taxi for 8pm - they didn’t bother to do it. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, don’t waste your money. They also have a secret breakfast menu which you only realise when you see other guests eating food that isn’t on the buffet! Other guests coming down to breakfast in scruffy pyjamas and dressing gowns. Something is very “off” about this hotel.
- ASIM (1/5): Wasted my money! DO NOT BOOK PENTHOUSE - Location was good Paid an arm and a leg for the pent house. And was not worth it at all. Only 1 socket on side of bed. Jacuzzi didnt work. Tv didnt work. Remote didnt work. AC didnt work. Called a number of times to sort these out. They used excuse for AC that they havent been cleaned so not turned on! And when I asked for something as gwg, they said they will. But still charged my the £10 tray charge and parking! I.e very outdated. Short on staff. DO NOT BOOK!! ESPECIALLY NOT PENTHOUSE.
- Rachelle (6/5): Pleasant - I booked 3 Chelsea suites for a family wedding and all were very spacious. The beds were really comfortable and towels and toiletries also good. The decor, furniture and carpets in all the rooms were tired and dated, the rooms are in need of modernizing, it wasn’t really what we expected for a 5 star hotel in Chelsea Harbour.
- Martin (8/5): Good value - not at the top level especially the spa. - Marina view and large suite. It’s a little tired but not badly so.
- Angela (10/5): Wonderful real value - Lovely fresh clean welcoming
Gorgeous room
- M (6/5): - We got an upgraded room when we arrived which was really nice.
breakfast was good.
location was great.
The staff, breakfast staff and room service, concierge staff, and porters were very pleasant and helpful. Although the breakfast was good, we would've liked some more Vegan/GF/Vegetarian options within the hot meal section.
Some problems with the room - We saw some moths in our room, both nights we were there.
The toilet started to leak at the back and created a puddle.
On checking out, the receptionist gave us a room service bill for over £700 pounds. Which was absolutely incorrect! The bill was reduced and there was more than a £600.00 difference! The receptionist was quite casual about the mistake but made no apology or even acknowledge that there was such a large mistake in the bill. She must've given us the wrong bill, for a different room, but it didn't seem to phase her at all. She seemed uninterested.

- Bailleux (5/5): -
- Debra (7/5): 48 hour stay. I was glad we stayed at this unusually located hotel and would return. Staff great . Hotel tired in places - Staff at the hotel were really helpful and made an effort to make the stay enjoyable.
The reception area was open and welcoming and had a good vipe.
Large 20m indoor Swimming Pool.
Large rooms by London standards.
Slept well - beds comfy.
Nice residential and Design business area - quiet and by pleasant Chelsea Harbour. Felt unusual for London.
Location very accessible right on railway links literally 5 minute walk from Imperial Wharf Railway Station and onto the clipper boats running between east & west . 2.5 hours door to door from South Coast using overground railway. Neighbouring Battersea interesting to see. The hotel felt quite tired in places and could do
with a make-over.
- mireille (10/5): -
- Robert (7/5): - Location and pool, good value Some areas were a little tired.
- Kremena (10/5): -
- Mary Jo (10/5): -
- Ilyas (1/5): Nul - Super nul et sale Tout
- OVIDIU (10/5): -
- Ingrid (8/5): Hotel was very pleasant to stay in. - The staff, especially Aseel, at check were brilliant.
The location was excellent, the room was comfortable.
All other staff polite and efficient. The in-room entertainment could do with an up-grade.
TV was constantly no working correctly and had very little choice.
- Lucy (10/5): Fantastic…. Will definitely be back. Staff were amazing… hotel in a prettt location - The decor was fantastic
Very welcoming
Clean Nothing!!!
- Colin (5/5): Five Star Hotel with One Star Service - We liked the size of the rooms & it's central London location. We booked in for one night only for the London Marathon.
We're given a 20% discount food voucher. Which we were told to hold onto because we had checked out early to attend the marathon.
On our return to collect our suitcases (the same day). We decided to eat at the hotel & specifically asked the waitress before ordering, whether we could use the voucher. But she disappeared & never came back (shift change...who knows)? .
After consuming our first course, the plates were left on the table for a considerably long time. So we had to go to the bar & asked a member of staff if someone could clear our plates & bring over the dessert menu.
After completing our meal we had to go to the bar again & ask for the bill. Which was annoying considering there was only around 5-6 tables occupied & we could actually see the 4 members of staff continually chatting & joking with one another.
When we received the bill we saw the 20% was not deducted. And didn't even notice that they had included 12% service charges.
After a "very unpleasant" discussion we were told as we had checked out of the hotel, we weren't entitled to the discount, with a flippant response " that's the way it is". Although there were no T&C's on the voucher.
This has been the worst experience after staying in a 5 star hotel & we wouldn't recommend or go to this hotel again.
- Antony (10/5): -
- Sheila (8/5): An enjoyable stay before charity walk, good location for start - Super large rooms Bedroom window stuck open (217)
- Ken (8/5): -
- Beth (10/5): -
- lorna (7/5): Comfortable surroundings staff not smiling much spa and pool area uninviting. unpoor - Breakfast was good. The spa area had an old worn out look to it there was no choll out area or ambience at all.
- Musa (8/5): -
- David (8/5): -
- Kate (1/5): Terrible - Shockingly Poor Experience & Completely Unacceptable Handling of Guests’ Belongings
What should have been a simple two-night hotel stay turned into one of the most stressful and upsetting experiences we have ever had in a hotel.
On returning to our room on the second night, we discovered the bedroom had been completely cleared out. Every single one of our belongings had been removed clothes, medication, wash bags, handbags, everything. We were left standing in a room with absolutely nothing and no explanation whatsoever.
We immediately went to reception, where staff appeared completely clueless about what had happened. No one could tell us where our possessions were, why they had been removed, or who had authorised it. We were simply told they would “need to check CCTV.” Meanwhile, we were expected to somehow go to bed with no toiletries, no medication, no clean clothes and no personal belongings.
The following morning, the situation was somehow even worse. Reception still had no answers. We had to ask for basic items like a toothbrush just so we could brush our teeth and attempt to get ready for the day — and even that was never brought to the room.
It was not until around 9:30am, after repeated chasing and now running late for our plans, that our belongings were finally wheeled back into the room and we were casually asked, “Are these yours?” By that point, we had been unable to get properly dressed, access medication or even maintain basic hygiene.
The entire ordeal showed a staggering level of incompetence, poor communication and complete disregard for guest privacy and safety. The thought that hotel staff can simply empty an occupied room without explanation is deeply concerning.
The duty manager, Mohit Aboti, dealt with us on the Sunday morning and referred the matter to Najdat Taleb, the Front of House Manager. Unfortunately, neither appeared to fully grasp the seriousness of the situation or offer any meaningful resolution.
- Sarah (10/5): The staff were incredible. We had an issue with the room we booked originally and weren’t able to stay in it. They upgra -

- Robi (9/5): -
- Annie (10/5): Fantastic way to make our trip to meet the king even better! - Great location and amazing rooms! Nothing
- Christopher (6/5): Tired looking hotel. Not worth the money - will not be returning. - Staff were friendly and helpful. Proximity to the Thames clipper ferry for travel to central London was very useful and Kings rd for restaurants was a short walk. Proximity to Heathrow Airport (45 mins in taxi). Rooms need updating, generally the building is looking old and tired, especially the outside areas and the marina, which is dirty and the boats look like they are never used. Shower was very small and the sealant was coming off. The balcony furniture was very basic and old (room 706). Gym, while well equipped, was not open until 8am at weekends, which is crazy, needs to be 24 hours for the price. Breakfast was far too expensive at nearly GBP30 per person. I would say overall not worth the cost of the room - we could only check in early if we upgraded to a better room (not very helpful and tantamount to blackmail after a long journey!). Definitely not 5 star as advertised - would recommend a hotel closer to central London for the price. I expect this hotel was nice once, but needs some upgrades now for the price.
- Vaughan (4/5): Adequate but it’s very tired now and expensive for what it is. - Good position for Chelsea area. Tired. Needs a good refurb.
- Anthony (9/5): happy - lovely room and good restaurant booking spa services needed to be well in advance
- JOHN (9/5): Fantastic luxury hotel with amazing rooms and views. - Brilliant location and views. We stayed in a Marina King suite which looked over Chelsea Harbour and the Thames. Enjoyed the nearby bars and restaurants. Funnily enough our stay coincided with Chelsea football team's arrival for a pre-match meal. Thought the staff coped very well managing the other guests and sorting out rooms.
- Irene (6/5): Disappointing for a 5 star hotel - The breakfast was a very run of the mill buffet. I was not offered an alternative menu. A cup of tea was poured from an insulated pot. A difficult to use toaser burnt the toast. I would have expected a pot of tea and toast to be delivered to the table! Our balcony had not been prepared and had cobwebs and litter on it. When I reported this I was offered housekeeping with no apology. On checkout we were not asked about our stay or offered a bill to see what we had been charged for. Several of the reception staff were unsmiling and nearly brusque. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful but did not always see when used items needed clearing from the table. There was only one teabag of the kind I like in the room
- Yvonne (9/5): Short but excellent! - I booked the sating my mum and her good friend for their birthdays and the hotel treated them exceptionally from the time they entered which I really appreciated. They said they had a great time and loved everything about their stay.
- SOLANGE MARIA (9/5): Equipe de funcionários simpáticos e educados. Tivemos uma ótima estadia com direito mimos surpresas no quarto. Adoramos! - Conforto e limpeza Não tenho reclamações a fazer
- Serena (7/5): -
- Enrico (7/5): -
- Callum (10/5): - Very good facilities and service. The pillows were too big and hard.
- Jane (3/5): Disappointed as room was too hot - Location Boiling hot in the room - no a/c
Staff opened window very small gap no air and gave a fan but no use
- Julie (9/5): All in all.good stay and excellent value really enjoyed ourstay - Beautiful room. Huge for London Loved it. Staff charming and helpful Service at breakfast. Lacking
- Hayley (8/5): We had a great time. - It was lovely to be upgraded to a room with a balcony. As we were 3 adults in one room it would’ve great to have 3 teacups provided and not have to use the espresso cup.
Also, 3 requests for child’s bed in other room was slightly disappointing.
- EMMA (10/5): A lovely stay except for breakfast. - We upgraded to a River Suite and it was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and fabulous bathroom. The bedroom was very hot when we arrived and after asking reception if we could open the window an engineer came along to unlock it. Unfortunately it was very windy so we had to close it. The hot bedroom was one downside to our stay. We assumed that there would be aircon but it appeared not.
The staff were excellent - very friendly and welcoming. We did not particularly enjoy tea & coffee poured for us from a flask by a member of staff. We would have preferred a teapot and coffee pot to serve ourselves. The breakfast was buffet style and there were no eggs available. In addition making our own toast was a hit and miss affair with either not toasted enough or burnt. We felt for this high end hotel breakfast could have been a much better service.
- Danielle (10/5): Excellent, relaxing and fun. - The location, the staff, the spa were excellent and the food in the restaurant was divine. Will definitely be coming back again! The shower went off at random times but that wasn’t a huge issue.

- Norma (9/5): I would recommend this hotel. The rooms are spacious and staff are friendly. We will be back ! - Great location for water boats to lots of areas of London Breakfast not great eggs on buffet over cooked
However service was good

- Bob (7/5): Underwhelming, not a Hotel I would rush back to. - Room and location. Check in took a while as only one person on desk.
Bar staff surely and drinks very expensive.
- Chris (3/5): Lovely location, good night manager, expensive food and drink at the hotel, real shame they can’t seem to maintain the s - The location, the night manager, nice sheets on the bed, good size room… £200 damage deposit is concerning as both the rooms we ended up staying in had lots of damage (chips in walls and furniture, scratched furniture, missing bit on skirting board, faking paint on ceiling, water damaged wall behind where a kettle had been…)
The Spa which was the main reason we went was unhygienic, dirt in pool, food wrappers, coffee cups and even a banana skin left around the pool and not picked up by staff even when they were showing us about, staff didn’t seem bothered and even made a joke about how bad it was at the time. The changing rooms were out of order, the lift to the spa was out of order (meaning a long walk to get there which was frustrating at I have a very bad back hence booking a place with a pool). The sauna had a bodged repair on the door with a sharp screw sticking out behind the handle. The mirrors and windows surrounding the pool had clearly not been cleaned in some time.
On arrival we were pressured to upgrade the room, which we declined, the room we were given was unbearably hot with an aircon that did nothing and only one out of two windows could be partially opened resulting in little to no ventilation. After multiple complaints and having been given dubious explanations first the porter came and clearly had no idea why to do, then the night manager came to the room and after failing to resolve the problem moved us to a room on the less sunny side of the building at gone 1am. Both rooms had damage and dated fittings and furniture but thankfully the second room had working aircon and a better view.
The front revolving doors were also out of action meaning everyone had to use one small side door at the main entrance, I actually thought the hotel was closed when I turned up as there main doors were roped off.
- Maria (8/5): Very Good - Staff Team was amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the hotel entrance were very friendly and helpful with our luggage and with parking the car . At reception, Aseel was very welcoming and helpful with our check in.
Equally the bar staff and breakfast staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was extremely hot and the hotel explained that it was because their heating system and air conditioner were still in winter mode …not allowing clients to regulate the heating or even to switch it off individually.

- Sarah (6/5): Great professionalism from staff but the hotel is dated and rooms are difficult to cool down - Lovely bathroom and big room The room was boiling hot, loud from the train station opposite and no plug sockets by the bed

- I7072OYsusanar (10/5): Very good and beatiful Hotel - The rooms are amazing for a Familie. We missed the rooms. We are in anoher hotel now in London and it is so small compared to the Chelsea hotel.
The Rezeption was really nice and helpful to US in everytime.
Manager Armer , Kafsa, the woman at the reception with blondred Hair on the 3 of April and the Reception Persons at night.
Very good service.
The Spa was great, two loovellyy girls on the 3 an 4 of April and oon. The 7 of April. Except Paulina, a woman with red Hair. A very unfriendly and rude Person. Always screeming to children. But the Spa doesn't belong to the Hotel. BUT you can use it.

- AlisonTS_13 (2/5): Don’t waste your money - Filthy, cold pool, dirty cushions on beds, no usable lockers, out of order loo and shower, floors filthy. Emailed for refund but no reply. Worst spa ever
