• Matthias (6/5): Ok wenn man nur schläft und nicht zuviel erwartet - dann ok - Gute Lage Leider ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen. Beschädigungen durch Feuchtigkeit am Türstock, WC Spülung hing - Wasser immer gelaufen, Personal kaum bis gar nicht Deutsch, Frühstücksbuffet eher schwach (Fruchte aus der Dose, einfach lieblos)

Nebol problém požičať si poháre z kuchyne na izbu čo je mimo bežný štandard a treba to pozitívne oceniť. mali sme izbu 513 co bolo na najvyššom poschodí a uplne na kraji a bolo tam zima. Po tom ako sme dopytovali na recepcii ohľadom nápravy tam bol vyslaný údržbár ale nič sa nezmenilo. Po opatovnom kontakte s recepciou som si z recepcii mohol vo vlastnej réžii zaniesť a zapojiť radiátor. Raňajky boli bez jedného kúska čerstvej zeleniny a každý deň úplne rovnaká ponuka. Pri dopyte na late checkout sme dostali info že za 30 euro je to možné, čomu rozumiem ale čakal by som že pri otužovaní na izbe nám hotel túto možnosť ponúkne rád grátis.

• ANTRIA (7/5): Value for money. If the hotel is renovated, it would be 1 of the best in BadGastein due to location. - The staff, the pool, the view and location were great. The rooms and especially the bathrooms need a serious renovation.
• darkoa521 (8/5): Family stay - We stayed at this hotel in Bad Gastein and overall had a pleasant experience. The building dates back to 1882, and while the rooms are clearly old and not recently renovated, everything was very clean — the rooms, the hotel areas, and common spaces. The room itself was spotless, the mattresses were comfortable, and towels were changed every day. Cleanliness is definitely one of the strong points of this hotel. Breakfast was standard, similar to what you’d expect in most hotels. Dinner included soup, a good variety of salads, a choice of two main dishes (often one fish option), and dessert — simple but satisfying. The restaurant staff are a very strong advantage of this hotel — always positive, friendly, and extremely helpful. Their attitude really stands out and adds a lot to the overall experience. The spa area was very clean, with very, very warm water, making it especially relaxing. Overall, despite the age of the building and outdated rooms, the excellent cleanliness, comfortable beds, outstanding restaurant staff, and spa made the stay enjoyable.

Definitely recommend! - We stay at this hotel every year with our family, there is always a warm welcome at the reception, excellent and delicious breakfasts and dinners, the rooms are always very clean and there is a large and warm pool and saunas! We definitely recommend it! Very close to the bus, shop and mountain lifts!

• S8147PJtom_k (2/5): Disgusting, never again! - The price/performance ratio is an absolute disaster. The hotel is old, the carpets are faded and have not been changed since the hotel was opened. To get to the children's playroom, you had to walk through a dark corridor that smelled of cigarettes like a cesspool. And the playroom itself? Dirty carpets, a few broken crayons scattered on the floor and that was it. At least we were happy about the table football, until we discovered that the balls were missing. Breakfast was like a photocopier, the same thing every day. Small selection, one type of bun, hard whole grain bread. One type of vegetable, boiled and fried eggs and a sponge cake that tasted so chemically that it was inedible. In the whole week, they were not able to make sausages or eggs in a different way. Two home toasters for the entire restaurant. Dinner - choice of two dishes, one of which was always pasta soaked in oil and some cheap sauce (the last day it was even ketchup). The second dish was the cheapest sauce with dry meat, we ended up on a dry bun (the same one that is for breakfast). Entrance to the sauna - darkness, stench, I am normally afraid to be alone there. Never again in this hotel!

• Willeke (10/5): - Bag Gastein is a wonderfull villiage and the waterfall is amazing and just a few steps away from the hotel. Also beautifull routes to walk start nearby. The room are a bit dated but they are very clean and big. The bath was very nice.

• JNY212 (10/5): Effective staff and unbeatable location - I had a wonderful 10-day stay at Hotel Elisabethpark while attending the "Music in the Alps" festival. The hotel's helpful staff, central location, eclectic decor, and breathtaking views more than make up for its dated hardware or other non-essential deficiencies. From the start, I appreciated Dinela's assistance in booking my reservation. Upon my arrival, Sergey at the front desk offered to lead me to my wing so I wouldn't get lost first time around. During meal time, others and I were well assisted by the English speaking Justin (Mijatovic) who was unfailingly attentive. And everyday, the housekeeping ladies worked diligently while carrying lovely smiles. It is always the people who make a place special. Hotel Elisabethpark is no exception in that regard.

• Bern (10/5): Fabulous stay in the heart of Bad Gastein! - We came here for our anniversary and loved every minute. Our room was on the top floor (5th) and overlooked the beautiful valley. The staff were super efficient and spoke good English. The room itself was spotless, especially the bathroom. The pool was sparkling clean without smelling of chlorine. Simple breakfast that included scrambled eggs, along with fresh bread rolls, jam, cereals, yogurt, cold meats and a selection of cheeses. The waiters also topped up supplies once they were finished. The building has a lot of charm and is well maintained. We will definitely be back in the future! Nothing.

• lukasdibben (4/5): Reasonable prices but food inedible - The hotel was a reasonable price but it was made apparent why, when reflecting on my stay here. The breakfast was okay but the evening meals were inedible. Do not expect any traditional Austrian food which you would get on the slopes. In the end we chose to eat out over eating in the hotel, which made up for the reasonable price that was advertised. Alongside the low standard of the food, the staff were not very hospitable and sometimes quite rude. Myself and other members of the party got quite bad food poisoning from the food one night, when we addressed with a member of staff they tried to blame the altitude. We know other guests had similar issues, so it wasnt just unique to our group. If you want a cheap night stay, in a decent location then I would recommend but do not go half board and subject yourself to the evening meals.

The combination of tidy, comfortable accommodations, excellent food, and a prime location, all complemented by an outstanding team, made this hotel a standout choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch experience in the heart of the town.
• Randunica (4/5): I do not recommend - I do not recommend. I was in january 2024. From the start we had the impression that we are not welcome, the hotel staff was not friendly. Every day the same thing at the breakfast, 6 days. One toaster for 200 persons . Very bad coffee. At dinner the same thing , not very diverse. The room very old, not painted for decades, good space. Superficial cleaning. Old and dirty carpet in the room. Hotel in good location. Parking next to the hotel, paid parking, not included ( 28 euro a week). Low temperature at the pool. 32 for the water , 20-23 ambient air. Some friends of us had to change the room because was wet! And onother family had problem with electricity. Even if the price was ok I won’t come back, I prefer to pay more and have better conditions. Free entry at the pool and sauna but we had to pay at the reception the bathrobe. At the pool just one old hairdryer. Overall I do not recommend.

An allen Ecken bröselt es und ein gewaltiger Investitionsstau lässt sich nicht mehr leugnen. Einzig der Speisesaal und das Hallenbad lassen erahnen, welche Qualitäten das Haus früher ausgezeichnet haben; schon die völlig abgewetzte Rezeption, das Fehlen eines Nachtportiers, die teilweise abgenutzten Teppichböden, die eigenartigen Gerüche in Teilen des Hauses, das Fruehstuecksbuffet mit den billigsten Zutaten, das phantasielose Abendbuffet … die Liste liesse sich beliebig fortsetzen; positiv die zentrale Lage nahe des berühmten Wasserfalls und direkt neben dem Parkhaus mit günstigen Tarifen, das vielsprachige stets freundliche und serviceorientierte Personal, das wirklich schöne Panorama Hallenbad und das insgesamt akzeptable Preis-Leistungsverhältnis; wenn der Eigentümer das Geld für die dringend notwendigen Investitionen bereitstellen würde, könnte das Haus aus seinem Dornröschenschlaf erwachen und wieder in altem Glanz erstrahlen, ansonsten wären maximal 3 statt früher einmal 5 Sterne angemessen

It has such tremendous potential. - Thermal bath, period features of the hotel. rooms need updating, with care, this is a cracking opportunity for a Soho House style hotel, the infrastructure is made for it. Breakfast was a bit haphazard.
• rossb846 (8/5): Nice hotel, staff very friendly - Just back from a week stay. Hotel is nice and clean, pool facilities and sauna etc adequate. Food was plentiful and pretty tasty. Breakfast especially had plenty of buffet choice. Unlike some other reviews here I would say the staff were the highlight of the stay. Friendly and helpful without being too overbearing. The only comment I would make is that if skiing/boarding the walk up to lifts is steep... so either accept the queue for the hotel shuttle (at most 15-20 mins) or take the skibus from 50 metres along the road. All in all would definitely return.

• 60johannel (8/5): Staff rating - We would like to praise Karina, a very kind and exceedingly serviceminded waiter in the restaurant. Always at your service when needing it with the biggest and kindest smile. Thank you for great service Karina. I would say her colleagues could learn by her, the way she is around the guests is 5 stars from us. One other lady (maybe a manger or so) who stood in the restaurant every evening, should learn how to smile more and improve her guest hospitality. Other wise, the receptionists were very nice and accommodating. The hotel is extremely charming with a lot of cultural history. Surroundings were incredibly beautiful. Very nice place, and we would definitely visit again some time.
• skiGastein4442TI (2/5): Terrible Place - This is a terrible place. The staff are ignorant. The first evening the waiter came and told our group two jokes about testicles which most of us found offensive. Another evening the waiter shouldered one of our party as we were 10 minutes late leaving the restaurant. Another word would be assault! They are MOST unhelpful. There is no security as the manager goes away at 10pm leaving all the rom keys unattended. The courtesy bus to the town centre is not frequent. The food is poor to brutal. Eggs and more eggs for breakfast. Nothing else hot. dinner left in Ban Marie for self service but sometimes it seem to have been cooked hours before first evening dinner. This Russian owned hotel was closed about 2004 and reopened December 2022 we believe. It is a terrible place. Stay anywhere else but here. There is an odour throughout. It might have been an Ok place about 30 years ago.

The view from the room was incredible with the huge windows opening up to the mountains. The sauna and pool areas were absolutely fanastic. Right in the middle of Bad Gastein just up the street from the waterfall too. Zero complaints.

Очень удобное расположение: и до центра в шаговой доступности, и в нескольких шагах от потрясающего водопада и прогулочной тропы, ведущей в горы и сказочный лес с белками и множеством птиц, не стесняющихся людей. Отель всегда любезно встречает и провожает гостей на вокзал на микроавтобусе. Многие сотрудники работают очень долго, что говорит о доброжелательной атмосфере среди персонала, который является главным достоянием отеля. • Stefan (4/5): Sommar i Bad Gastain - Hotellet är i stort behov av renovering och uppfräschning, personal var helt ointresserade av sina gäster och direkt otrevliga framförallt serverings personalen (den flesta personalen i receptionen var ok) servicen/info var lika med noll, annars är läget helt okey om man vill bo nere i byn.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Dass Bad Gastein - und wahrscheinlich auch dieses Hotel - schon bessere Tage gesehen hat, ist unverkennbar. Wir waren für nur eine Nacht im Hotel und hatten den deutlichen Eindruck, dass es eine Zweiklassen-Gesellschaft gibt - für Kurzzeitgäste und Langzeit-(Pensions-)Gäste. Als Kurzzeitgast darf man beispielsweise bei dem (sehr guten) Frühstück nicht am Fenster sitzen, und unser Zimmer hatte auch einen offensichtlich defekten Kühlschrank, was bei Hochsommertemperaturen unangenehm war, und Beschwerden darüber wurden wenig mitfühlend kommentiert. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, das Badezimmer zum Duschen recht unpraktisch, da man sich in der Wanne zwischen dem Uralt-Heizkörper und dem klebrigen Duschvorhang nicht so recht wohl fühlen konnte. Das Personal war teilweise sehr freundlich, doch teilweise auch unmotiviert, insbesondere in der angeschlossenen Gaststätte. Positiv zu bewerten ist der kostenlose Shuttleservice zum Bahnhof.

• Aleksandr (10/5): Все для хорошего отдыха - Отель удобен и расположением (центр города, водопад, автобусные остановки, Кайзер Вильгегльм-променад в двух шагах), и комфортабельностью номеров (удобные кровати, чистота, холодильник, телевизор, затемняющие шторы), и богатой инфраструктурой (собственные бассейн, зал фитнеса, спа-центр,, ресторан, зал для проведения конференций и семинаров). Микроавтубусом встречают и доставляют гостей до главного вокзала. Очень доброжелательный персонал, среди которых достаточно много русскоязычных сотрудников. Встречают гостей, как родных людей, всегда не формально относятся к исполнению любой просьбы. Сердечная благодарность всему персоналу отеля вот главе с Сергеем Соколовым, который и заражает своих коллег духом заботы о гостях, профессионализмом и приветливостью.

Location on the main street just next to the famous gastein waterfall.
• Birgit (8/5): Slitet men helt ok hotell - Det märks att många av hotellen i byn har sett sina glansdagar. Detta hotell skulle behöva en omfattande uppfräschning för att få tillbaka sin forna glans. Men rummet var stort, poolen och bastuarna riktigt fina och frukosten helt ok. Bra läge mitt i byn. Hade uppskattat mer engagemang från receptionspersonalen och tips på vandringsturer lämpliga för vår familj. Tips: ät middag på pizzeria Angelo - riktigt bra italiensk mat i mysig miljö med superpersonal!
• Markéta (8/5): Good value for money - We chose this hotel for the second time. Half-board was good. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Room was ok, the equipment a bit older, but the view was amazing. Parking in a parking house next to the hotel - higher cars as ours have to use the upper entrance which is about 5 minutes drive (no signs, receptionist told us where to go).

• Lena (10/5): Outstanding! - I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. I stayed in a spacious single room with amazing views over the valley and mountains. The room was well fitted with a single bed, desk and table. The bedding was very comfortable and the room clean. I enjoyed the sauna department (3 out of 4 saunas working), and the beautiful pool which had water from thermal springs and lovely views. The passage way leading to the spa and wellness area was nicely decorated with interesting artwork. The breakfast was sumptuous and the restaurant also had great views. The personnel were outstanding. Very service oriented, attentive, friendly and helpful with a personal touch. The location is great, just a few steps away from the waterfall, with views over the valley and surrounding mountains, and the start of a few lovely walks. The hotel offers a lift to the station which isn't far but up a steep hillside. There you can also catch the gondola up to the mountain which I highly recommend. I stayed three nights at this slice of paradise and wished I could have stayed longer. There are many hikes in the area (recommend the one to Hofgastein) and the hotel is a perfect place to relax in luxury after a day out. I will be back!

• Charlotte (8/5): - Overordnet i orden. Havde bestilt halvpension men aftensmaden var altid buffet og meget kogt kød som ikke faldt i vores smag.
• Torgeir (8/5): Fint, rolig hotell for skiferie - Fint og rolig hotell. Grei gåavstand til det meste, men det er temmelig bratte bakker/gangveier. Fin spa-avdeling som er herlig etter skiturer. Om du er ute etter høy partyfaktor på hotellet finnes det nok andre hotell med mer ungdommer, men du er aldri langt unna afterskibarene :)
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Wir waren im Nebengebäude, und musste weit laufen bis zum zimmer, inkl. 2 Liftfahrten. Außerdem mussten wir einen ext. Parkplatz bezahlen für 12 Euro pro Tag, wenn wir nach 15 Uhr gekommen wären, hätte dieser sogar 24/Tag gekostet. Ansonsten war alles OK
• Ragnar M. (8/5): A good choice for Bad Gastein - Stayed here for 6 nights during a skiing trip. The breakfast was good and the rooms were nice, However one negative thing was that the rooms were fairly poorly sound isolated. The hotel had a car going in shuttle to the stubnerkogel lift every morning.100 m down the street there was a busstop if you wanted to go to graukogel or other destinations. There was ompa techo and glühwein at 1600 every day in the hotel reception, which was nice when returning from the slopes. The ski-room had a decent setup for drying skiing boots. The staff was friendly. The bar had the usual lager and banana beer combo, but also had guiness which was nice. The hotel is in the bottom of bad gastein, so everywhere you are going requires a trek up a steep hill.
• Jan (6/5): Old hotel - pay attention to the local tax/fee - It is sad that they don't inform about the tax you have to pay to the local community before you book the hotel. All in fee does not exist on this hotel. Even if they write that on hotels.com
