I could see the Adriatic Sea from our balcony and the host was extremely kind and even left us some treats as well. That I booked such a short stay. Next time I will book longer.

• Cecile (9/5): Un très bel appartement dans un jardin luxuriant - En premier lieu, très bon contact avec l'établissement. Nous avons eu toutes les explications nécessaires avant notre arrivée, jusqu'au moment de récupérer les clefs et de trouver la place de parking. Le logement est idéalement situé pour visité la ville. La place de parking est un vrai plus. Et le balcon permet la vue sur la mer ! La déco est vintage, très recherchée, nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Le logement est grand et très agréable, les chambres très grandes. L'accès à la mer est très aisé, il y a de nombreux restaurants et supermarchés à proximité. Pour visiter la vielle ville le bus n'est pas très loin, ce qui est un autre avantage de ce lieu. tout était top

Tänne mahtuu perhe lapsineen kun on riittävästi nukkumatilaa ja sohvia. Suihku toimii hyvin, lämmin vesi tulee heti. Ei paljon portaita. Leikkipaikat vieressä. Kaikki on tosi lähellä. Tullaan ehdottomasti vain tänne uudestaan.

• HANNU (9/5): Hieno paikka. - Saavuimme pimeällä, joten hieman eksoottiselta tuntui kiipeillä portaita yöllä. Sijainti oli lähellä bussipysäkkiä, joten siitä oli hyvä lähteä eri puolille kaupunkia. Myös kauppa oli lähellä. Majoituksesta oli hyvät näköalat, sekä huoneissa oli toimiva ilmastointi. Kahvinkeitin oli meille tärkeä, ja se onneksi löytyi. Naapurit olivat hieman meluisia yöllä. Toivoimme astianpesukonetta, mutta pärjäsimme ilman sitä.

• Katarina (10/5): Extraordinary! - Location is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, only 5-10 minutes of walk away from bars and restaurants. Apartment was extra clean, with clean sheets, towels, with all amenities provided. House has a large, beautiful garden. We didn't feel like anything is missing. Instructions of how to reach the apartment were provided on time; instructions were very clear and hosts available for all questions and recommendation / advises. We traveled to Dubrovnik for work, but if I will go next time for the purpose of work or leisure, I will definitely check the availability of Villa Mar! Thanks to hosts Mario and Marija! -

• Federico (9/5): Departamento grande en un barrio muy lindo - Amplio, son 2 plantas: cocina comedor bien equipada, baño y un cuarto en la planta baja; otro cuarto muy grande con cama doble, sofá y TV en la planta alta. Fui con un amigo y éramos sólo 2 personas, pero tranquilamente pueden hospedarse 4 huéspedes, diría que es ideal para que vayan 2 parejas. Durmió cada uno en un cuarto con tremenda comodidad, y hasta cocinamos allí sin problemas. Tiene estacionamiento privado, es un garage descubierto justo al lado de la escalera que baja hacia el departamento, con vistas la ciudad y en una calle linda y tranquila llamada Kardinala Stepinska. Se puede salir del departamento hacia esa calle, pero también hacia atrás bajando una escalera salís a la calle Stonska que es una peatonal muy linda llena de bares y restaurantes. Con auto debes entrar si o si por la primera, pero si estás a pie... tenés las 2 opciones. Para llegar en auto, es muy importante el GPS, la calle no es tan fácil de encontrar y además es angosta y de mano única, si te pasas de la puerta, para retomar necesitas dar toda una vuelta para llegar. En caso de estar a pie, es muy fácil llegar al centro, el bus para muy cerca saliendo por ambas calles (serán 2 cuadras) y en pocos minutos estás en la Old Town, es muy directo y además no se recomienda ir en auto ya que estacionar en el centro es casi imposible. El espacio de ducha es algo chico para moverse, aunque cumple y funciona bien. El departamento es muy pintoresco pero hay que considerar que para entrar desde la calle, tenés que bajar unas escaleras, pasar por un jardín y luego subir otras hacia la puerta de entrada. Eso con mucho equipaje pesado o para personas mayores no sería del todo recomendable, siendo joven no sería problemático pero es a tener en cuenta. Otra cosa a considerar es que hay un solo baño en planta baja, y quienes duerman arriba deberán bajar en caso de necesitar usarlo.

The place was impeccably clean and perfectly located — just a few steps down to the beach with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The balcony offers a lovely view as well. My wife accidentally dropped her gold pendant, and the owner was kind enough to find it and return it promptly. Overall, it was an excellent stay and great value for money, especially considering how expensive Dubrovnik can be. The nearby bus stop made getting around very convenient too. Nothing

Infos vorab sehr umfassend. Einfaches Check-in. Gutes WLAN. Apartment war gut gereinigt. Küche: Essig, Olivenöl, Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker und einiges mehr standen bereit. Ebenso Küchenrolle, ausreichend Küchentücher, Geschirr und sonstige Küchenhelfer. Netter kleiner Balkon von der Küche begehbar. Bequeme Betten. Ohrstöpsel sinnvoll, da Lärm vom Apartment nebenan. Sonst wirklich alles perfekt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Trevlig och hjälpsam värd som var lätt att nå. Väldigt bra läge nära strand, restauranger, mataffärer och busshållplats varifrån bussen till gamla stan går. Vi hade lägenhet nr 3.

Host was communicative and kind, even provided some breakfast items as my party had a very late night arrival. Bathrooms were nice and clean, air conditioning was very welcome considering the heat.

• Anjalee (10/5): One of my best holidays and a moment I will never forget. - We had a fantastic stay at Villa Mar apartments. It was homely and comfortable. They had really thought of everything you could need and provided it, including cushions to sit on at the nearby Sunset beach (a pebble beach), paddle boards and ball and a nice large tube float too. I loved that the place had two bedrooms and really for a very decent price considering that it's Dubrovnik (pricey!) and it's fantastic location. Yes there are stairs but that is a very traditional style of home for Dubrovnik where apartments are built on the hills, and the stairs do lead directly to the promenade (loved that!!) and ofcourse 5 mins from the beach which are major pluses. But what made this holiday extra special was how the host Vesna went above and beyond for me. I was celebrating my 50th birthday there but had not indicated that when making the booking. My friends from India (the best!) managed to contact Vesna and ask her if she could get me cake & champagne. She not only did the but also got me some gifts from herself including traditional earrings, and then even to set it all up in the apartment while we were away so that I walked in to find all this - cards, flower, chocolate, cake, earrings, champagne etc when I returned from the beach. I was truly overwhelmed with joy and the kindness of a stranger. But since then ofcourse Vesna and I have talked a lot and she really does feel like a friend I've known for years. Her kindness and willingness to do so much to make someone happy are truly something. She has made my 50th a day I will never forget. Thank you so much sweet Vesna. Shower cubicle is a little on the small side in apartment 2 so might be a squeeze for someone on the large side but otherwise nothing.

• Mahsa (10/5): - We stayed in this beautiful apartment for two nights in August and absolutely loved it. Everything was spotless and well-organized, with all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the city center, and free parking was available nearby. The villa was very close to the beach and had all the essentials for enjoying swimming and sunbathing, including a sun umbrella, beach mat, floaties, and more. Getting to the old town was also easy and affordable by using Uber. The host was exceptionally polite and kind, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely choose this apartment again for a future visit.

Il y a un bus qui mène directement à la vieille ville en 10/15 mn, vraiment facile et pratique. La proximité de la plage est un plus car cela permet d'aller se baigner sans aucune difficulté et il y a toujours de la place sur la plage. Tout était très bien. La location est grande et très agréable avec son balcon. Un petit bémol dans la chambre du haut où il fait chaud malgré la clim.

Tommy, a major supermarket is just around the corner. Nice little touch from the owner of the message, loved it! Recommend Trinity restaurant, combo taste between Japanese and Thai, absolutely delicious and very reasonable price. If you have car, this place also has private parking space. Also, well Recommend to drive to Ombla waterfall (about 10-15 mins drive), absolutely gorgeous place and the restaurant has great drinks and food. The only thing that you need to be aware is there are a lot stairs to get to the apartment.

• Amber (10/5): Highly recommended - What a great place to stay. We were sent really clear instructions on how to get into the apartment with videos which made it really easy to find. There is plenty of space. We had a large bedroom upstairs with a sofa/tv area, a smaller bedroom downstairs and a kitchen/dining/sofa area as well. The fridge was stocked with milk, juice, some drinks and breakfast things when we arrived. There is a nice little balcony. Powerful shower and toiletries provided The location is close to the beach and restaurants (as long as you are able to go up and down steps!) Nothing! There are a lot of steps to get into and out of the apartment. This wasn't a problem for us at all but if you have mobility issues it could make it difficult.

• Lucie (9/5): Amazing stay in Lapad - Great location on the Lapad Promenade. The staff is really helpful and responsive. Very clean and rather comfortable. Would highly recommend for a family of 3-4 or 2 couples since the two bedrooms are on different floors. Not easily accessible with a lot of stairs and some equipment is missing. WiFi signal is very weak in some parts of the apartment.

• Hongmei (1/5): Unpleasant stay - The location is okay not too bad The staff is harsh and unprofessional, unfortunately the washer machine is broken at our first day there, the lady was so unprofessional and requested €150 immediately even without before the repair person showed up;we told her to handle the issue through booking.com, but she wants the money immediately otherwise we had to move out even we already paid for the second night; which interrupted our travel plan . Sometimes bad thing happens but the way she handled make us feel unsafe and insecure even we pay her money as she requested. There is a lot of nicer and good value places to stay in Dubrovnik, please try to avoid this place, lessons learned, having a peaceful stay is so important !

The location couldn’t have been better: just a short walk to a beautiful beach, which was perfect for relaxing and swimming. There was also a convenient bus stop nearby that made it really easy to get into the old town for sightseeing and exploring. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped – a perfect home base. And to top it off, the host Marija was wonderful – very friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. They made everything really easy and stress-free. The neighborhood had a great vibe, with plenty of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. Whether I wanted a relaxed evening meal or a bit of nightlife, there were always good options close by. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Two separate bedrooms upstairs with kitchen and livingroom downstairs. Super friendly and helpful owner. Really important - private parking place available without additional fees. Super, super, super clean appartment with very good location - close to the beach, supermarkets and restaurants. 5 minutes walk to the bus nr 6 if you want to go to the city center (crazy crowded even in may, no chances to park). Every appliances or tools that you need in the kitchen are available. Every bedroom and also livingroom with separate TV set.

It is not easy to find such an open person that is doing all she could to make our holidays the best experience. It had really well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook some breakfast or dinner, basic spices, tea, coffeez big table with comfortable chairs to sit down and eat. Big fridge with freezer. Nice toilet with good light, washing machine and tabs to wash clothes, good mirror and light along with hairdryer and toiletries. First room had spacious double bed with balcony and table along with sunbeds and clothes dryer, all windows with external roller shutters and apartment with AC on each floor. Bedroom on second floor was even more spacious due to connected living room. Huge double bed, big sofa and modern flat TV. You could see design was matching whole place which gave up special moments and nice chill aura. If I could I would go back there again, due to very close proximity of good Lapad beach and nice area with a lot of restaurants and tourist shops. Yo Ivan walk around shore and explore stunning sunsets with view for close islands that have churches or sea lanterns on it. To sum up there was close bus station that lead us to the city center (PILE) (maybe 5-10minutes from flat and private parking lots that were on street above (easy entrance). If you are older or have problems with stairs this might be the only issue, but whole Croatia Is full of mountains so I doubt it might be real deal for anyone.

Just steps away from the promenade, we were delighted to enjoy stunning sunsets, drinks, and dinners at the many nearby bars and less expensive restaurants in the old city. The owners were exceptionally kind, helpful, and responsive, providing us with valuable information throughout our stay. While there are steps to navigate, they are manageable compared to other accommodations within the old city walls. For its value, peaceful location, and just a short Uber ride to the old city or bus, we would definitely stay here again." The bathroom/shower would have been better upstairs but we managed.

• Anne (8/5): A wonderful stay with perfect hosts - Firstly, the hosts were excellent, so helpful, friendly and attentive. The apartment was very well equipped and super clean. It is very close to supermarkets and restaurants with a lovely promenade with great restaurants a few minutes walk away. Gorgeous greenery and fruit trees/herbs surround the property which was a delight. I can't praise our host family highly enough, Marija was wonderful, so accessible and a small breakage was dealt with immediately by her mother and grandfather. It is a proper family business. It is a lovely quiet area with pleasant views from the balconies. There are 3 apartments but we mostly didn't hear or see our neighbours. A ten minute taxi or bus ride in to Old Town Dubrovnick (essential to visit this. Whilst there is a beach within walking distance I wouldn't say it was a beach holiday destination). We found the beds good quality but a bit hard, although that is personal preference. The owners took on board our feedback. The whole of the Dubrovnick area is built on mountain sides so there are a LOT of steps to get anywhere (fine once you get there!). There are steps up from the promenade/beach and also some from the road where you arrive by taxi - although on arrival and departure Marija helped us with our bags.

Kitchen was complete, it has everything you need like condiments. I like that it has a washing machine so we didnt worry about our dirty clothes after driving around croatia. Beds are comfortable but didnt like much the pillow, Im always picky with pillows. We didnt met the host but they are always checking us from time to time via whatsapp. Apartment was just few steps to Lapad beach and also to some good restaurants. I would definitely recommend this apartment if youre planning to visit Dubrovnik. Aircondition on the 2nd room with 2 single beds doesnt really gets cold during the day and evening. The sliding door in the shower doesnt close properly so bathroom floor does get wet after showering.

There were also some breakfast and drinks waiting for us when we arrived - it felt super nice. I did like, but as a warning if you have problems with the stairs, this apartment might not be the best option for you.
