Isabella (10/5): Mitten im Quartieri Spagnoli - Speranzella 86 ist die Adresse in der gleichnamigen Gasse im Quartieri Spagnoli. Unterm neapolitanischen Balkon mit Wäscheleine spielt sich Neapels ganze Lebendigkeit ab. Menschen unterhalten sich, Autos und Mopeds quetschen sich durch, und eine Trattoria reiht sich an die nächste. Man isst köstlich und authentisch! Durch eine winzige schmale Tür im Portal erreicht man den Innenhof mit seinem kuriosen Außenlift. Äußerst positiv: Man wird empfangen. Signor Maurizio gab mir einen Stadtplan, zeichnete die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten ein und erklärte mir, wie die Türschlösser funktionieren. Für mich sehr positiv, wenn ich als Gast auf einen freundlichen Gastgeber in Menschengestalt treffe und mich nicht via Code in ein unbekanntes Haus "einschleiche". Zimmer und Ausstattung sind liebevoll, und alles ist blitzsauber. Im Bad gibt es einen Unterschrank für die persönlichen Toilettartikel. Alle touristischen Ziele sind fußläufig gut erreichbar. Und der Funicular zum schönen Vomero-Hügel befindet sich um die Ecke. Sehr gerne und bestimmt komme ich wieder. Danke Maria-Grazia und Maurizio. Mir hat alles gefallen.
Dianne (10/5): The Best Stay - Large, spotlessly clean, right in the heart of Naples. Close to everything and a lift! Greeted by lovely hosts who were so friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi for us to the airport, then when we left a bag behind in the taxi, they went completely out of their way to get it back for us. Just incredible hospitality. Loved it all.

Roberto (10/5): Wonderful stay at the very heart of Naples - Staying at Speranzella 86 was one of the best experiences I had in many years of travel all over the world. The place could not be more centrally located, it is extremely clean and cozy, as well as inexpensive. Above all I appreciated the warm hospitality of the owners, who are some of the kindest people I ever met. I must here mention and thank Maria Grazia, who welcomed me for breakfast every day with a big smile and her overwhelming positivity, she is truly the embodiment of Naples's most delightful human qualities of hospitality and happiness. I cannot recommend this place enough for anybody visiting Naples. My room was quite large and very comfortable. Despite being central, it was also extremely quiet and I could sleep very peacefully every night. There is really nothing I did not like about Speranzella 86, I only had positive impressions and experiences. It would be difficult to suggest any improvement to the hosts, they are as close to perfection as possible already!
