• Jake (10/5): Excellent location, friendly/helpful staff, clean and well equipped room. - The staff were super friendly and helped us in depth with every query we had. They had excellent English too which helped as we don’t speak Dutch. Upgraded our room, gave us late check out, helped with directions many times, gave us tips on transport and some must see sites. The stay was made so much better by their attentiveness.

• emanuele (7/5): posto tranquillo, poco confortevole, stanze minuscole, ma personale gentile. - L'albergo è in una strada tranquilla e silenziosa, non lontana dalla stazione centrale, in una zona servita. C'è un minuscolo ascensore, pare che ad Amsterdam sia già parecchio. I portieri sono piuttosto gentili e disponibili, è possibile lasciare il bagaglio dopo il check-out. La camera ha molte prese di corrente, il che è un fatto positivo. Camera piccolissima, a stento si trovava uno spazio per muoversi fra un lato del letto e il muro. In camera non c'è il frigobar, ma nemmeno una bottiglia d'acqua, che non esiste nemmeno in reception («usi quella del rubinetto» mi è stato detto dal portiere). La pulizia è così così, ma soprattutto non ci sono cassetti e le grucce per appendere non si sfilano e sono scomodissime. Il bagno misura poco più di un ascensore, e il lavandino è talmente piccolo che si fa fatica a lavarsi i denti senza sporcare il pavimento. Il prezzo della camera non si giustifica.

• Ste (8/5): Per 3 notti il soggiorno è stato molto buono - Stanza singola confortevole. Pochi minuti dal centro. Strutture moderna con ascensore. Il bagno leggermente piccolo.Quando si fa la doccia si bagna il pavimento sottostante il lavandino, anche quello un poco scomodo.

• Hongjian (6/5): Good for its location. - Very good location, near train station, China town, red light zone. Room heater needs service. It’s way too weak so that the room temperature was near outside.
• KrisNWM (10/5): Wonderful City View Hotel - The location was excellent... Just about 10 minutes walk with luggage and all from Centraal station but it was the staff, Bikram who made the big difference. He was friendly and helpful with a smile all the time!! Overall, it was a good over night stay but I must warn that the single room may not be suitable for the elderly as you need to climb up to the bed which, because of the luggage compartment below is rather like a bunk bed in style and size. It was comfortable and clean but a bit difficult to get up and down. Nothing at all

• binu (7/5): I'd go there again, but would like a few things sorted. - Just 8-9 min walk from the Amsterdam Centraal Station, and yet in a quiet area, the location couldn't have been better. Excellent tea and coffee maker in the basement with very good croissants, and very nice and well-mannered staff. I stayed in a single room - I am not complaining about the size of the room... but there are a number of difficulties here. No doors to the bathroom!! Very inconvenient placing of the washbasin. Quite an illogical placement of the desk with a pole right in between making it very difficult to do any work. And importantly, the dust collection across different spaces!!

• Simon (1/5): - The room was quite next to the entrance. It was Souterrain right next to the street. No view. No opening the windows. So you had to use electric light during the day. You could hear every step and people entering the building, even the coughing and phone calls of the reception. Some amendments in the room were also very run-down. Wi-Fi was very weak, so I didn't even use it on the phone. Way too expensive for what's given.

• Elsa (8/5): un hôtel confortable et bien situé - Nous avons beaucoup aimé l’emplacement géographique de l’hôtel, nous étions assez proche du centre. Le personnel était très souriant et aimable. La chambre correspondait exactement au photo. Elle était petite mais très bien pour deux personnes. Rien à dire niveau propreté !! l’ascenseur est très petit, on se sent enfermé, tout juste pour deux mais c’est qu’un petit détail. Rien de mieux que les escaliers

• Susan (8/5): perfect for a short stay in Amsterdam - lovely use of an old building in an eay to get to part if the city with beautiful canals and shops near by. Very helpful staff a liitle loud in the evening but good tgrough the night
• Stephane (7/5): Bien placé mais pas plus ! - La gentillesse de l’équipe et l’emplacement Une propreté à revoir (une poussière de plusieurs années derrière la TV… ce qui suggère une certaine légèreté générale), une salle de bain vieillissante des éléments corrodés, le lit double fait de lits simples et deux couettes simples, dans le cas d’un gabarit au delà de moyen, pas simple d’être bien couvert la nuit, l’ascenseur bruyant la nuit, isolation des fenêtres moyennes face au bruit de la rue la nuit.

• Jedidja (5/5): Slecht geslapen in een niet al te propere kamer - Er zouden verse croissants worden aangeboden 's morgens, met koffie. We hebben er geen gebruik van gemaakt, maar dat deze mogelijkheid er was, is zeker positief. Het matras en de kussens lagen goed voor mij. Ideale locatie als je graag in het centrum op pad gaat. - Airco kun je niet gebruiken om warmte te blazen, gelukkig werkte de gewone verwarming wel. - Het bed is véél te klein voor twee volwassenen. De voeten van mijn partner pasten niet in het bed en hij lag de ganse nacht tegen de muur geplakt (zeer slecht geslapen dus). - Het raam was dicht, maar er kwam toch nog een ijskoude luchtstroom binnen. - De muren zijn flinterdun (veel lawaai). - Er waren vuile plekken op de grond, in de hoekjes van de badkamer en op het deken (+ een barst in het plafond). - Het ene nachtlampje had maar 1 functioneel licht i.p.v. 2. - Er was maar 1 grote handdoek i.p.v. 2. - In het licht van de nachtlampen konden we heel goed zien hoeveel stof er op de muren en in de airco hangt.

• Ingrid (3/5): Gehorig, lawaai door klussende nachtportier waardoor geen goede nachtrust. - Geluidsoverlast midden in de nacht. De nachtportier had van eigenaar opdracht om renovatie werkzaamheden uit te voeren. Na meerdere klagende gasten stopte hij met de werkzaamheden en het lawaai.

• Federica (1/5): Sporco. - La posizione. Sporco. Letto pieno di peli e capelli non ho avuto il coraggio di controllare il materasso. Tende sporche, copriletto macchiato, moquette macchiata, polvere sulle superfici. Ce ne siamo accorti troppo tardi e non avevamo modo di notte di trovare altra sistemazione. Abbiamo dormito con i vestiti. Al mattino quando ho comunicato in reception la situazione non mi é stato chiesto nemmeno scusa.

• odelia (5/5): מקרי חירום בלבד - מקום זול יחסית אבל אין תמורה למחיר - מנהל קבלה מקסים, עדין, אמפטי וקשוב המלון פשוט מלוכלך מוזנח, ברמה שמצאתי גרב בחדר שאינה שלי, השטיח מלא כתמים, הכיסוי של המיטה נראה מטונף, ישנתי עם הבגדים שלי כי היה ברור שהמקום מלוכלך וגם לא התקלחתי בגלל זה
