• Marjorie (10/5): Well Located & Comfortable Ground Floor Apt - The apartment was clean and comfortable, perfect size for 2 people. It was well equipped with everything you need and bed was comfortable. Excellent location, only 20 minutes to Old Town, and bakery and store are very close by. It was nice being on the ground floor with no stairs. The host Aleksandra was wonderful!
• Madelein (9/5): Lovely accommodation very close to old city - The location is perfect - right outside old city. The host is very helpful and just great. The washing machine was a great plus for us. Overall a lovely area and great place to stay. Elderly persons must just be aware that there are stairs to the apartment - it did not bother us at all. Dubrovnik has many stairs... Not a serious issue but a few extra cloths in the kitchen would be nice for washing and drying dishes.

You did not have to climb many steps to reach it from the old Town where we spent all our days. 20 min walk. Aleksandra met us on arrival and departure 👍 with plenty of helpful information. We loved our stay. Nothing at all 😀

• ayeon (9/5): 대 만족이요!!! - 체크인 시간보다 일찍 도착했는데도 방에서 짐을 풀고 쉴수 있었어요. 그리고 간단한 관광 안내와 식당, 슈퍼마켓 정보도 자세히 알려주셨어요. 빵집과 슈퍼가 숙소와 가까워서 편리했어요. 그리고 필요한 모든것이 갖춰져 있어서 너무 편하게 지냈습니다! 침대가 두개인데 소파침대는 조금 불편했어요. 저희는 제 엄마와 제 딸과 머물렀는데요, 사실 올드 타운과 먼거리는 아니지만 나이 드신 분께는 조금 불편하더라고요. 이곳은 계단과 좁은 길이 많은 도시이니까요! 하지만 크게 문제되지는 않았어요!

• Victor (9/5): Very good apartment - A comfortable apartment with nice interior. Only 15 minute walk from an old town. All the necessary facilities are in place, everything is clean. A host, who is living in a nearby building, is very hospitable and helpful, she provided all the necessary information. Also the view from the windows is beautiful: sea and old town. The property is represented on booking.com by some kind of third-party agency, and the quality of the chat was very poor. I received 5+ same generic reminders on the chat, with a wrong name on that, but I was waiting for around 5 days to get an answer to my meaningful question (about a blanket and heating/AC). And while I was waiting, the free cancellation term was over. In the end it was all good at the property itself, but this communication by the agents was annoying.

Aleksandra était très gentille, accueillante et nous a partagé tous les incontournables de Dubrovnik. Elle nous a même offert un magnet en souvenir à la fin de notre séjour. L’appartement a tout le confort nécessaire pour un très bon séjour ( climatisation, machine à laver, etc...) Les moustiques mais cela le logement ne peut rien y faire Aleksandra nous a prévenu 😊

N’hésitez pas a lui demander des conseils de visite. (3 islands Cruise, Katarina Cruise) Tout était parfait, peut-être qu’il manquait la vue mer.
• Sheila Marie (10/5): - We are a group of 4 including 2 adult children. The accomodation is a few steps from the main road which is a plus as you can not hear the vehicles passing. First impression is new, clean, plenty of light.It has plenty of space for 4 of us. 2 double beds, with kitchenette, small fridge and even a washing machine. The shower & AC is strong. About 15 to 18 minutes on foot to go to PILE gate depending on your pace. But you can also take bus 8 if you have problems walking. We walk everyday to get to Old town. The accomodation is near a beach 15 to 18 minutes on foot. Just be aware that getting to the beach or Pile Gate on foot , you have to manage stairs.There is a bakery with fresh croissant , ciabatta & pizza every day ,grocery store, bus stop and a cafe few steps away. The accomodation is 2km/5 mins away from bus terminal by car. If you take the bus with approx 5 stops, it cost 7.50 euro. Uber cost me 8 euro. Alexandra , the hostess is very helpful. On the first day she briefed us on where to get stuff and where to go.She constantly update me about the check in process, the bus to take even few days before our arrival. She also had tips where to eat depending on type of cuisine you want. She even told me the address to use as pick up point for uber. I'll rate Alexandra , the hostess as 11/10. Will highly recommend this place for a family or friends on a budget like us. Value for money for such a good accomodation. It is very accessible to all things you will need.

As soon as we arrived, she was there on time and introduced the history of Dubrovnik (really interesting) and all the experiences possible to do during our journey. • Jessica (10/5): Friendly, comfortable stay for a family, located conveniently near the old city. - The host was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. The apartment was great for our family, and we could easily reach the old city by bus or walking. Also, after seeing what it would have been like to stay inside the walled city (difficult access, many stairs), we were relieved to have booked outside the walled city since it was easier to reach our accommodations with all the luggage we had for our large family.

She is the perfect host and provided us with many suggestions including the most wondering boat trip to the three islands which was one of the highlights of the trip. The apartment was so clean and had everything you could ask for including a terrace. It is a short walk from the old town with a supermarket and bakery around the corner. I would recommend it to anybody to stay here and would only stay here when back in Dubrovnik.

• Hsin-ju (10/5): Lovely apartment for the holiday - It’s very spacious and has everything you need. The interior deco is nice and home-like. Shops nearby so no need to carry from old town. It’s actually close to a pick up place for day tours such as Kotor or Mostar. The host is super friendly, responsive, helpful and welcoming! During our stay we had a lovely cat guest every morning outside the building :) It’s a bit of uphill walk from the old town. However wasn’t too bad to take bus 8 - it’s just you need to be familiar with the location of the stop and the bus wasn’t run that frequently.

The owner was lovely, so friendly and very helpful. As with all places in Dubrovnik there's a fair few stairs and steep climbs but not bad compared to others.

She also organized a boat tour for us which was great! She responded very quickly and was able to store our luggage for us on our last day. The apartment is beautiful and is in a great location, about a 20 minute walk into the old city as well as a bakery and grocery store right around the corner. It had everything we needed during our stay.

A patio and balcony would be perfect in good weather, but it was cool and windy during our stay so we didn't use them. Supermarket and bakery very close. Property was on a bus route from old town. Boiler was a bit noisy when heating the water.

• Rob (9/5): Great host who gave us all the information that we needed about buses, beaches and booked a taxi. - Supermarket nearby with the essentials as well as a bakery all within a few minutes of the apartment. Bus stop also 5 min walk. We were interrupted a number of times by guests arriving to rent other apartments. In two cases visitors knocked and opened the door to our apartment. It would be a good idea to have a sign showing where the reception is.m

• Hfu (8/5): Comfy apartment in a convenient location - Comfortable, well-appointed apartment with ample space for a short stay and welcome conveniences including a washing machine. Location is good, a 15-minute walk down the hill to the old city and a slightly longer walk back up, with a bakery and basic grocery store just metres away. Very friendly and helpful owner. The apartment is right on a small path used by pedestrians, so there is some noise at night as people wander home after a night out, which may disturb a good night's sleep. There is a little sitting area outside the front door, but because there's no privacy, it lacks appeal. Also note that, as with most places in Dubrovnik, there's no direct car access, so luggage must be carried up a small set of steps and wheeled up a path before reaching the apartment. No big deal, but important to be aware of.
• Kat (10/5): Amazing Organisation, clean and big apartment - + very clean, cooking possible + Amazing host, Alex is really friendly + lots of information before we arrived + Alex helped us with booking tours and taxis and the city in general We can recommend for everyone, we had a really nice and relaxing stay, and the place looks better than the photos (interior is cozy) Beware there are a few stairs but nothing impossible

It was beautiful, comfortable, an easy walking distance to town and our host, - Spacious, comfortable beds, air conditioning, AND a relatively easy walk to the Old Town (10-15 minutes at an easy pace). Aleksandra was a Great Host too and very helpful with our questions and offering to coordinate a taxi to the airport. Nothing really. There are some steps to get to the apartment from the main road, but our host offered to help us with our suitcases.
• Dennis (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Romance Apartments & would definitely recommend. - The Apartment location was great for us we were literally between the Old City & Lapad so this allowed us to visit & spend time in both areas. We were also within a 20 minute walk to a lovely beach . There was a small supermarket , bakery, a couple of bars & a pizza shop very close. The apartment was very clean , we had and outside sitting area by the entrance & also on a small balcony off the bedroom. I liked the fact that the owner provided washing up liquid , hand soap, shower gel, shampoo plus extra toilet roll & laundry detergent these are all necessary but when you are only visiting for a few days the last thing you want is to have to purchase all these items , so in my opinion these items being provided is an added bonus. On arrival we we met by Alexandra who allowed us early access to the apartment plus gave us information on the local area , trips , restaurants, shops, bus routes etc this was unexpected but very much appreciated . We are both tall people my husband 6’6” we struggled a bit with the bed frame as it had a foot board and found it difficult to stretch out however I must point out that the mattress was very comfortable. The frame is very creaky so every time you move it squeaks & creaks.
• Dominik (9/5): Great stay. I recommend 100%! - Lady host is very kind and helpful. She helped us a lot on departure day with check out. She was always available by phone if I had any questions. The apartment is clean and tidy. A place equipped with everything you need (except an iron). A lot of towels and kitchen stuff. TV with smart function. Great location, quiet and safe. Close to the city center. I recommend it very much. No iron.
• Pyinghuan (10/5): City with thousand steps - The apartment scores high in every aspect. It can be a bit challenging for travellers with heavy packed luggage in Dubrovnik.

• Vernon (10/5): Short stay but a fantastic one. - What is not to like about this apartment. Right from the minute we arrived, Aleksandra was so friendly and knowledgeable. She explained all about her apartment and Dubrovnik. She recommended some restaurants. One was Taj Mahal in Old Town, to which we went. Fabulous. She further recommended a boat tour to the 3 islands. She booked this for us and taxi picked us up at the bottom of the stairs of apartment. Arranged by Aleksandra. The apartment we had was fantastic with a terrace at the front and a balcony off the bedroom with a nice view. Great AC in the bedroom. Nice large bathroom and shower. Equipped with a washing machine. All in all a wonderful stay hosted by a fantastic host Aleksandra. Thank you. Had to leave.
• klaudia (10/5): Great budget stay - Cute apartment with great views, clean and well appointed. We wish our patio was attached, we had to go out the front door, through another patio to get to "our" patio. We also wish our shower was a bit bigger (but totalky understandable).This hotel is a 15 minute downhill walk to old town (or uphill on the way back) and a 5 euro uber ride. Bakery downstairs was great for breakfast as was the little market, otherwise not many food options in the area. Would recommend and stay again.

Checked in on us through WhatsApp, booked us on trips she was a great host. This is the first time I’ve booked abroad like this and the experience couldn’t have been better

Small terace in front of the property was nice and private to have coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. There was no easy access with the car to unload and load our bags. We had to pull over by the main road and walk up the stairs.
• JohnC (8/5): - The place is very close to the old town, with a little market only a few yards away. It has everything I needed. Alexandra and her dad were always available if we needed anything.
